Arthur John Sedille, 23 Shoots Wife, Rebecca Sedille, 50, in Head During Sex Game/Convicted of Manslaughter in August 2011 Eligable for parole in 2015

A man arrested on a murder complaint told police he was playing a fantasy sex game with a loaded gun when he accidentally shot his wife, NewsOK.com reported Wednesday.

Rebecca Sedille, 50, was shot in the head at a residence in Oklahoma City, Okla., about 9:00pm local time Dec. 21. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police arrested her husband, Arthur John Sedille, 23.

Sedille told police that he and his wife often engaged in sexual fantasies involving the use of a gun, according to a probable cause arrest affidavit filed in Canadian County.

He said he took a handgun from a shelf beside the bed and "racked the slide back causing the gun to cock," according to the affidavit. He put the gun to her head and it discharged.

He said that he did not know that the gun was loaded at the time.

Paul Hesse, Canadian Country assistant district attorney, told newsok.com that charges against Sedille had not been filed, adding that Oklahoma City police had not submitted a report on the incident.

I sure hope he doesn't get away with. They can charge him with many things even if they feel they can't prove murder.

John Sedille was arrested on a first-degree murder complaint after questioning by homicide detectives and is being held in the Oklahoma County jail. He has not yet been formally charged and police did not know if he had yet hired an attorney.

:lol!: I thought that same thing. No way could I or would I. I am sorry I should not laugh. I saw this in NG tonight. I feel really bad for her family. A sex game gone bad is what her husband claims. Probably has kids and Grand kids. How awful for her this happened. If it was not a sex game OMG how could he kill her and then smear her reputation like this?

It was reported on NG that Rebecca Sedille had a very good job....I think it was with Sprint.

What the hell kind of sex game do you play with a gun? This is as bad, if not worse, than the choking game.

I DO feel there is a slight possibility that Arthur seriously did not know the gun was loaded because he is 23, hormones are flying and he wasn't thinking about a gun at the time if you catch my drift.

But WHY put a gun to someone's head while having sex? I seriously have a major problem with this sort of "sex". I've never heard of it before and don't consider myself to be a prude. But really, this is just plain crazy!

First of all, she is almost 30 years older than him... too old!! Secondly, I agree with Wrap - who plays with guns when having sex? Sounds very wierd. And... how could he NOT know it was loaded? I wouldn't be surprised to hear that she had life insurance & he was the beneficiary!!

People pose with guns on Facebook and MySpace. My friend in LE had his niece take out his gun while he was sleeping to take pictures to post. Using a gun as a sex prop seems completely feasible. It has been going on forever--the danger factor.

Oh, I believe people do that sort of thing too, it's the to the head part that I don't get and why wouldn't the gun be checked to be sure it was not loaded if they were doing this sort of thing all the time? Many, many years ago an aquantance of mine who was married to a cop told me he used his gun to rape her on more than one occasion. She did say he made sure it was empty first though, such a gentleman.

I too believe people do play those types of sex games. What I read was about co anchor on an local news show here (no names to be mentioned, might not even be true) who loved to play that rape with gun game with her husband. Too much information for me!
IF this was a sex game between the two of them, I can kind of see how a 23 yr old wouldn't think to check to see if the gun was loaded at the time, at that age we all know what they think with.
I wonder if this was at the woman's home or his? If hers, maybe he 'assumed' it wasn't load.
A 50 yr old woman with a 23 yr old young man? Oh my, I know it happens but come on!

I am familiar enough with guns to understand no way did he not know that gun was loaded.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Charges were formally filed in Canadian County on Thursday against a man who told police his wife's death happened during a sex fantasy gone awry.

Arthur Sedille, 24, was charged with first-degree manslaughter in the December shooting death of his 50-year-old wife Rebecca Sedille.

Sedille was originally arrested on a charge of first-degree murder in December.

The shooting happened at the Sedille's home in the 1300 block of Fleetwood Drive, near Lake Overhosler, shortly after 9 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Investigators said when they arrived at the scene, they found Rebecca Sedille shot in the head. She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Sedille told police he didn't know the gun was loaded when he put it to his wife's head that Tuesday night.

I am attempting to find updates on this very bizarre and sad case. I googled his name and did not find this until page 4. WTH??
