Family looking for missing 14-year-old girl, Rachel Allen/Found Safe!!!

An Odessa family is looking for missing 14-year-old Rachel Allen who was last seen at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Country Club area.

Andrea Allen, Rachel’s mother, said she was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with “Canada” on the front when she left home to take a walk in the Country Club area on Bainbridge Street.

Odessa police have said there are no indications Rachel was taken against her will. However, Allen said the Texas Rangers are now involved in the search and that the family has checked with all of Rachel’s friends to no avail.

Rachel is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds; she has dark brown hair and eyes. Rachel is a freshman at Bonham Junior High School.

Bonham freshman found in Andrews

After being reported missing Saturday, a 14-year-old Odessa girl was found unharmed in Andrews at around 6:30 p.m. Monday, her mother Amber Allen said.

Rachel Allen, a Bonham freshman, was found in the company of friends by detectives, and the family is still learning the details surrounding her disappearance, Amber Allen said.

She had last been seen leaving the house to go for a walk Saturday afternoon on Bainbridge Street in the Country Club area, and her family reported her missing that evening, Amber Allen said.

There were no reports or witnesses that she was taken by force or against her will, Odessa Police Department’s Cpl. Sherrie Carruth said.

She was driven home by her mother Monday evening.
