Casey Anthony: Craigslist post offers $50k on her whereabouts

THE CREDIT REPORT WITH BILL LEWIS
JANUARY 31, 2013

Craigslist scam or really a bounty on the whereabouts of Casey Anthony in her Ocean Woods gated community in Cape Canaveral, Florida?

A $50k reward was renewed to Craigslist late Wednesday in an effort to gain information on the acquitted murderess and now bankrupt Casey Anthony.

I am a national-media investigative reporter who lives in Cocoa Beach. Casey Anthony is living in the Ocean Woods gated community in Cape Canaveral. I am offering as much as $50,000 to anyone who can deliver the actual address to me -- or any sources who have been eyewitnesses to her whereabouts and/or activities here. I am particularly interested in eyewitness accounts of the incident that happened at the Sandbar restaurant recently. (The Sandbar restaurant is in Cocoa Beach, directly on the beach. You can sit inside or outside. It's really nice, layed back, full bar, bands, great food) ~wrap~
I will also pay $$$ to anyone who can lead me to actual sources who have real information -- and will pay them as well. THIS IS A SERIOUS OFFER.
Quite the busy news week for Casey Anthony. She not only won her appeal before a Florida appellate court, filed bankruptcy to discharge almost $800,000 in debt, is said to be considering a new career as a paralegal, but was photographed on a central Florida Beach.

"She'll be dogged and tortured the rest of her life by her own unrelenting conscience and by an unforgiving and merciless society that will always reject and ostracize her," Fort Lauderdale criminal defense attorney John Contini, author of several real-life crime dramas including Danger Road and Feeling the Heat, told this Examiner. "No need to dog her and pile on, as she'll suffer enough under all that self condemnation and public rejection."

Since its inception, Craigslist has become one of the most popular websites in history. While not as big as E-Bay, they do have twice the page views of Amazon.com.

As Craigslist does not verify or certify listings, they have become a favorite landing place for scam artists. In a buyer-beware and seller-beware market, it is highly doubtful that the $50k reward on Casey Anthony's current location is legitimate.

"The justice system has spoken and Casey Anthony has been acquitted," stated Fort Lauderdale criminal defense attorney and Fox/CNN legal contributor Eric Schwartzreich. "It's time to allow Ms. Anthony to live in peace."

Craigslist scam or hoax? Maybe the now bankrupt Anthony can claim her own reward and use it to pay her creditors.

"Let's face it, none of us know the real truth - only God knows who really did what and while we're busy being judgmental, Christ said it best: 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone," concluded Contini.

True. I don't buy into this bs w/this ad. If the person knows about an "incident at The Sandbar", that means they are a local. Don't know about any incident but she probably went there w/her body guard. She IS living in Ocean Woods in Cape Canaveral. So, she will be going out. I really think people need to get over it. NOT over what she did to Caylee but over the fact that she was found not guilty. She can live wherever she wants..she's still in her own prison. I think she w/get more bold going out and someone is going to attempt "taking her out." And, I don't mean on a date. my 2 cents

I will never have respect for either Baez or Mason. Both are/ were horses asses in their own right. Also that whackadoo female lawyer who crawled up Casey's ass at the beginning of the trial and resided there firmly throughout. Did Casey shit her out like a turd after she was released or is that woman a hanger-on too? Does she slip over to Ocean Woods occasionally to hang out with her bud, Casey?
And, I am so weary of thinking and hearing about Casey Anthony. It does gall me that she committed murder on her own child, lied, had a crazy and unbelieveable defense, did a stint in jail, and is now living where most of US would LOVE to be, by the ocean somewhere as beautiful as Cocoa Beach. How the hell can she afford to live there? She does not work, where is her income coming from? Where has she hidden her money in order to file bankruptcy? Who lives with her? Are the locals really as closed-mouthed as they seem? Does she move around the Cocoa Beach community as "one of them" or is she a pariah?

Plan on finding out about a lot of your questions as she's actually living in Cape Canaveral which is right next to Cocoa Beach. I lived there for 14 years and know many of the locals..my friend bartends right across the street. I have friends that live in Ocean Woods. My gf in Ocean Woods has told me that she DOES live there..has been seen walking her dog, usually wears a wig, always has her bodyguard w/her..and has seen G&C as well.

Don't have to even "drive by"..it's all woods and really cool trails..can just walk around..and the beach there is private. If you get through the gates, you can go to the beach. There is a back entrance that didn't have a guard or gate..am wondering if that's changed. W/find out..w/have my camera w/me.

p.s.NOT going there for her..have friends there. But, hell..might as well check it out.

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Desperate financially, Casey Anthony now considering adult films

Post by Wrapitup Thu Feb 07, 2013 11:44 pm

CELEBRITY NEWS
FEBRUARY 7, 2013
BY: MICHAEL SANTO

Many people revile Casey Anthony, despite the fact that she was found innocent in the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony. Would you, then, be willing to watch an adult film that featured her, something that -- on Wednesday -- a source said she was considering doing to ease her financial issues.

The source said:

Casey is flat broke with no way of repaying her debts. She’ll never get a regular 9 to 5 job, and no legitimate book publisher or TV network will give her a deal for her story.

One would -- normally -- think she could get some kind of job, but her infamy may be such that it's just impossible.

The source went further:

Casey has already received offers from executives at various companies that stream porno ... She may be one of the world’s most hated women, but there’s a twisted fascination with her, and she has to cash in on that notoriety.

You can bet she’ll quickly move into the hardcore XXX-rated material because that’s where the real money is.

As we reported in late January, Casey Anthony has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection. In the filing, Anthony listed debts of $500,000 for attorney fees and costs for Jose Baez, her criminal defense lawyer during her trial; $145,660 for the Orange County Sheriff's office for a judgment covering investigative fees and costs related to the case; $68,540 for the Internal Revenue Service for taxes, interest and penalties; and $61,505 for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for court costs.

In addition, the filing notes the civil suits she is a defendant in. In particular, one has been brought by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez for defamation in Orange County Circuit Court. While detectives were investigating Caylee's disappearance, Anthony told them that a baby sitter by the same name kidnapped the two-year old.

Fernandez-Gonzalez claims her reputation was damaged by Anthony's statements. However, Anthony's attorney has claimed that Anthony clearly wasn't talking about Fernandez-Gonzalez, as details offered by Anthony to authorities did not match the plaintiff.

If Anthony were to go the way of porn, she would join another reviled celebrity in that industry. Earlier, Nadya Suleman, also known as Octomom, did the same, although she restricted her film to masturbation; she did not have a partner, either male or female.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Have been putting off posting this as have read this on numerous sites (starting w/The National Enquirer) but what the hell. More fodder, more speculation. I highly doubt she w/do this only because dear old daddy w/keep supporting her. Then, there is her surrogate father, Cheney Mason. Doubt he'd want her doing porn. Of course, she's not one to listen to advice and she's probably bored out of her mind, so who knows. After what we've listened to for the past 3 days, she seems pretty tame compared to Jodi Arias - at least in the "sex" dept. MOO.

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Jose Baez talks to Dr. Phil McGraw on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013

Post by Wrapitup Sat Feb 09, 2013 12:43 pm

By Hal Boedeker
Staff writer
9:25 a.m. EST, February 9, 2013

That much-hinted-at TV appearance by Jose Baez will be on "Dr. Phil."

But Baez's stop on the nationally syndicated show will be Friday, not Wednesday.

"Dr. Phil" airs at 3 p.m. weekdays on WOFL-Channel 35.

The website for Dr. Phil McGraw's show provides this preview: "Casey Anthony's former defense attorney, Jose Baez, shares what he says he wants the public to know but couldn't say during the trial. And, the prosecution witness accused of perjuring himself on the stand, John Bradley, speaks out in an exclusive interview."

A clip shows McGraw asking forensic computer expert Bradley, "Did you perjure yourself?"

McGraw asks Baez, "Why are you no longer representing her?" McGraw sounds prosecutorial in telling Baez, "That is a huge leap" and "you gave very flimsy reasons."

What's McGraw talking about? We'll have to wait for Friday's show.

"Dr. Phil" has a history with the Anthony case. The show reportedly made a $600,000 donation to a charity set up by George and Cindy Anthony, Casey's parents, when they were "Dr. Phil" guests for McGraw's season premiere in September 2011.

Look, I am sick of reading she "c an't get a 9-5 job". No, she could. Yes she is hated and she wouldn't do ANY business a favor by being their employee but there are planty of places she could work, other shifts besides 9-5. Like working in a hotel laundry or hospital laundry, no contact with the public and if her fellow employees hate her, oh well this is the price she is paying for her 100% freedom she is enjoying now even though shes a LMS and literally got away with murder. She COULD work, so I am sick of hearing that. Theres nothing wrong with her physically that she can't work. She chooses not to work, and never DID want to work in the first place.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Casey Anthony: Belvin Perry tells WFTV how case changed his life

Post by Wrapitup Thu Feb 14, 2013 12:12 pm

In local public-affairs programming this weekend:
Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. will be a guest on “Central Florida Spotlight” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on WFTV-Channel 9. The topics include GPS monitoring, his career, violence in schools, mental health and Casey Anthony. “He talks about how the case changed his life, the Lifetime movie portrayal of him and why the case drew so much notoriety,” moderator Greg Warmoth said. “He also discusses Jeff Ashton. He couldn’t talk in detail about Casey herself because of the possible civil cases before the court and explains that.” Warmoth said it is Perry’s first appearance on “Spotlight.”

Casey Anthony: What will Dr. Phil McGraw ask Jose Baez?

What to expect when Dr. Phil McGraw interviews Jose Baez?
“The question that I have is did he knowingly misrepresent facts and present scenarios to the court that he knew to be untrue?” McGraw says in a release.

McGraw interviews Casey Anthony’s former defense attorney at 3 p.m. Friday on WOFL-Channel 35.

A clip shows McGraw lecturing Baez on candor in the court. “From a psychological standpoint, you gave very flimsy reasons” for the sexual-abuse allegations, McGraw tells Baez.

The nationally syndicated program says that Baez is “opening up about the case in a way viewers haven’t seen before.”

The show shared a quote from Baez: “The day I got the call to represent Casey Anthony was the day that changed my life forever.”

The show says the many questions remain since Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

The show listed these questions: “What really happened to Caylee? Does Jose know the truth about how this child died? And what about the sexual abuse allegations? During his opening statement, Baez made the explosive accusation that Casey’s father, George Anthony, had been sexually molesting her since she was a young girl. Was there any real basis for that accusation, or was it just a defense attorney grasping for something to plant a seed of doubt?”

I have a question for you: Will you be watching?

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Child Prostitution, Porn Evidence May Be Hidden in Sealed Casey Anthony Files; Legal Expert Demands Records Be Released

Post by Wrapitup Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:04 am

Written by Kate Bommarito. Posted in News, Plains Daily Exclusives
Published on July 08, 2011

BOSTON, MA – “I am frustrated with what I would describe as the lack of full disclosure of the full truth,” said Wendy Murphy, a legal analyst, law professor and victims’ rights advocate specializing in child and sexual abuse cases, regarding the Casey Anthony murder trial.

“I read thousands of pages and covered the case and read everything carefully from day one,” said Murphy. “My concern is that this trial was not about the truth. Much of the case remains under seal.”

Murphy told Scott Hennen Show listeners that there is “an awful lot of evidence in this case” under seal suggesting that Casey Anthony was involved in prostitution and pimping out Caylee for child porn purposes. “There was child porn, prostitution and a lot of sex stuff behind the scenes, the back story in terms of what Casey was doing and how she was making a living.” Have always wondered about that. Makes me sick!

Photographs of Casey seized from her home along with the search warrants for computers were all under seal. “We should all be demanding full disclosure of the entire case file and an answer to the question of what was so horrific about the photographs of this child that they were under seal.”

Murphy stated that many of the facts known about Casey and Caylee, particularly on the dates of June 16-22, 2008, when Caylee first went missing, did not support the prosecution’s arguments for murder and motive. Murphy wrote in early June that because of those facts, Casey Anthony would be aquitted.

But that does not get to the bottom of what really happened, and Murphy is pushing hard for further investigation into the case. “I don’t give a damn about Casey Anthony. I think she was pimping her child and that she is a horrible mother…But there will be no justice for Caylee Anthony until the full truth is known, which means release the entire case file, including the sealed search warrants and the sealed photographs.”

Murphy is hoping that the files will be unsealed, and that Casey Anthony will be re-charged with “what she really did” before being released from prison. “If they found photographs of that child in any form of undress and that is not brought to light and there is no prosecution, then shame on our legal system.”

Since none of the evidence was used in the murder trial, if new charges involving child abuse, prostitution, and sexual abuse are brought against Casey Anthony, double jeopardy would not apply. “I am hopeful that the reason you didn’t hear about that stuff is because she is going to be prosecuted,” Murphy commented.

If charges are filed, Anthony would be prevented from signing any pending publicity deals surrounding her story.

Unfortunately, we will NEVER know! 🇳🇴 Maybe that is another reason she killed her and dumped her body in the woods so near her home..she was hoping Caylee's remains would not be found until she was nothing but scattered bones so they could not do any testing to see if this beautiful child had been sexually assaulted.MOO.

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Re: Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath

Post by raine1953 Fri Feb 15, 2013 12:22 pm

There’s no doubt Casey neglected her child, lied a lot, and failed to report Caylee missing for a month, but there's good evidence Casey wasn't even with Caylee when she died. Caylee was last seen with Casey leaving George and Cindy’s home on June 16, 2008. The public thinks Casey drugged Caylee, put her in her car trunk and taped her mouth shut so she could go out partying. But Casey and her boyfriend rented movies the night of the 16th and stayed home. Videotape from Blockbuster showed that Caylee was nowhere in sight.

Wherever Caylee was, she didn’t die on the 16th because her remains were found with pink and white shorts and a T-shirt, not the jeans skirt and solid pink top she'd been wearing when she was last seen.

Whoever killed Caylee apparently had Casey’s car, too, because Casey didn’t have her child or her car on the 17th. A witness told police Casey was driving a borrowed Jeep that day and a neighbor saw Casey's car, but not Casey, backing into Cindy and George's garage on the 17th. Why? Did someone take heart-shaped stickers from Casey’s room to bury with the body to implicate Casey in the killing? Casey’s brother Lee testified that Caylee was killed to teach Casey a lesson. Why?

I caved too, programmed my DVR to Dr Phil, not sure I can stomach Bozo but I guess I'll try. Dr Phil is great w/ teasers to his show that end up not panning out but I'm too curious!

Wendy Murphy is an attorney that is on JVM and Dr. Drew. She is usually right on the money. There was a lot of talk that all those years that Casey said she worked at Universal and would get dressed and "take Caylee to Zanny", she was actually taking Caylee w/her to do porn and SOME have speculated that she involved Caylee..if you look at the last pics of Caylee that Tony Lazarro took w/his cell, she had a black eye. She looked horrible/sickly/tired. I have ALWAYS wondered just WHERE she went for what..2 years w/Caylee?? She HAD to be going somewhere all day long and we all know there is no Zanny. Am thinking that Caylee was getting to the age where she could vocalize the things that go on in her day/life and that is one of many reasons why Casey snuffed her out.

Here is a video of Wendy Murphy:

And, she was RIGHT!!

Just to set the record straight, I do NOT 100% believe that TMLS was pimping out her daughter. In fact, I rather doubt that she was. HOWEVER, stranger things have happened and I put NOTHING past her. I DO think Casey was doing something all those hours when everyone thought she was 'working at Universal'. What a crock! And, she took Caylee w/her every morning on the false pretense of 'dropping her off at Zanni's'. Whatever she was doing, I highly doubt it's something that she wanted her parents to know about and I believe Caylee (who was almost 3) cryingagain was at the age where she could recant her day. MOO.

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Casey Anthony: Belvin Perry analyzes ‘fixation’ with case

Post by Wrapitup Sun Feb 17, 2013 3:02 pm

posted by halboedeker on February, 17 2013 2:22 PM

Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. says he was “totally surprised” by the number of people who were “totally fixated” by the Casey Anthony case.

In a revealing interview on WFTV-Channel 9’s “Central Florida Spotlight,” Perry mentioned several reasons for that fixation: Grandparents George and Cindy Anthony were “pulling out all stops” to find their granddaughter, Calyee.

“Then you had the face of a completely adorable little girl that probably pulled on the heartstrings of every individual that had an opportunity to view her,” Perry said of Caylee.

Perry, however, declined to discuss Casey Anthony because he has to vacate two of her convictions for lying to law enforcement. Anthony was acquitted of murder in her child’s death.

Yet the interview went far beyond the Anthony trial to explore the interests and style of one of the most famous judges in the country. Perry said he had no concerns about security and revealed that he receives about a death threat a year. “You just can’t dwell on it, because if you dwell on it, Greg, you become paralyzed,” Perry told moderator Greg Warmoth.

In the interview, Perry also said:

***He doesn’t drink at social affairs, and he doesn’t associate with a lot of people, because being a judge is “extremely difficult.” He advises young judges to stay away from happy hours. If Perry drinks “every blue moon,” he’ll do it at home.

***The “fine gentleman” who played him in “Prosecuting Casey Anthony” on Lifetime “did not act like me or in any way portray Belvin Perry, but that’s Hollywood.” (Actor Philip Akin had a very minor role as Perry in the movie based on Jeff Ashton’s book.)

***GPS technology is helping alert victims of domestic violence to dangers from suspects. “It stops victims from becoming sitting ducks,” Perry said. (That issue was discussed first in the program, and that placement suggested it mattered most to Perry.)

***The Ninth Judicial District, where Perry is chief judge, has more trials than any jurisdiction in Florida. Perry attributed that to staff cuts, no new judges in seven years and the complexity and length of trials.

***New State Attorney Ashton and former State Attorney Lawson Lamar are the judge’s friends. “So far, Jeff has done a great job,” Perry said. “I want Jeff to be successful, and I think he will be successful.”

And what of Perry’s character?

“I’m a very simple man. I come from a humble background,” the judge said. He said he likes working in the community, helping children and giving back. He also highlighted the need for more funding and programs to help people with mental-health and substance-abuse problems.

There was far more to this chat than Casey Anthony.

Anthony bankruptcy lawyer: Delay hearing on transfer to Orlando

By Richard Burnett, Orlando Sentinel
6:46 p.m. EST, February 24, 2013

Citing unexpected personal and professional developments, Casey Anthony's bankruptcy lawyer has asked a Tampa federal bankruptcy court to delay a hearing over whether her case should be moved to Orlando, court records show.

In a motion filed last week, David L. Schrader of Tampa asked for the Feb. 26 preliminary hearing in the Anthony case to be rescheduled because he has been hit with an unanticipated workload on a corporate bankruptcy case involving Mirabilis Ventures Inc., the former private equity firm based in Orlando.

At the time the Anthony hearing was set, Schrader's co-counsel in the Mirabilis case — an unidentified Orlando-based lawyer — was scheduled to appear at the Mirabilis final evidentiary hearing this month, according to Schrader. That lawyer has now informed Schrader he will not attend the Mirabilis hearing.

As a result, Schrader said he has not had sufficient time to work on the Anthony case, including her response to a motion that her bankruptcy be transferred to the Orlando division of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Schrader also cited the recent death of a close friend's mother, the ensuing funeral and other related events that had taken time away from work on the Anthony case.

He also asked the court to consider delaying the first creditors meeting in Anthony's bankruptcy case.

"Unless the issue of venue can be determined before the debtor's scheduled [creditors] meeting on March 4, 2013, counsel also believes that said hearing be rescheduled until this court can rule on the motion to transfer," Schrader said in his motion.

Anthony filed for Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy in Tampa on Jan. 25, declaring assets of less than $1,100 and debts of more than $792,000. On Feb. 5, lawyers for Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez filed a motion to transfer the case to Orlando. Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation for falsely telling police that a nanny with a similar name as Gonzalez had kidnapped her daughter Caylee.

If a judge approves Anthony's bankruptcy, it could end the civil litigation against her — though Gonzalez' lawyers plan to argue her claim should remain in place under certain exceptions allowed in bankruptcy law.

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Casey Anthony: 5 things to know in the bankruptcy case

Post by Wrapitup Sat Mar 02, 2013 11:14 am

By Amanda Evans, Reporter
Last Updated: Friday, March 01, 2013, 11:23 PM

ORLANDO --
On Monday, Casey Anthony will appear in court in her bankruptcy case.

Anthony says she owes nearly $800,000 to a variety of creditors. The debtors listed in her documents range from her defense attorney Jose Baez to Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman who says Anthony ruined her reputation. Anthony has no income.

If Anthony's bankruptcy case is approved by the courts, she won't have to pay those creditors, and she won't have to deal with the civil lawsuits against her by Gonzalez or others.

But legal analyst Mark NeJame says the bankruptcy courts are strict.

"You are under strict scrutiny when you are dealing with a bankruptcy trustee, and a bankruptcy judge," NeJame said. "You don't fool around, so if there has been any, any mis-statements or any 'fudging of numbers' there's going to be hell to pay in front of a bankrutpcy judge."

Here are five things to know of Monday when Casey Anthony appears in court.
1: Casey Anthony will be forced to answer questions for the first time.

Since the death of her daughter, Casey Anthony has never given a deposition and only Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez spoke during her trial on her behalf. She never took the stand and we’ve only heard her speak in jail phone calls with her parents and a leaked online video diary. Anthony has plead the 5th up until this point. Cameras will not be allowed in the meeting room on Monday because it is a federal courthouse. A sketch artist will capture the images.

2. This is the first time a confirmed location of Casey Anthony since her acquittal.

Casey Anthony has been in hiding and has been rumored to be staying in numerous places across Florida. Security is an issue for this meeting and that is one reason a judge determined to keep it in Tampa versus bringing it back to Orange County. Anthony’s attorney said she never intends to return to Orange County and that she still receives death threats. Note: This is BS. I know Exactly where she is.

3. Casey Anthony could walk away from lawsuits.

If Anthony proves she is bankrupt, she will not owe any of her debtors money. That includes, Zenaida Gonzales, Roy Kronk and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

4. Casey Anthony could go back to jail.

Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez admitted in her murder trial she has a history of lying, but doing so in federal bankruptcy court could land her in jail.

Anthony signed a summary of her schedule when she filed for bankruptcy and listed all of her assets. If a judge determines she was not truthful on this form she could face felony charges.

5. A book deal means no bankruptcy.

Attorneys will question Casey Anthony on her finances and the potential to someday make money. If Casey Anthony has a potential book deal or offer, it could be considered an asset and she would not be allowed to file for bankruptcy. Money made from a book deal or movie would be paid to Anthony’s creditors first. Anthony claims she owes nearly $800,000. If a book deal is made after bankruptcy is granted, Anthony could keep the money.

I do NOT see HER writing a book, but I do see Cindy writing one. my 2 cents

Casey Anthony Trial - The Aftermath - Page 9 Empty Casey Anthony to attend bankruptcy hearing today. Anthony will face questioning about her recent Chapter 7 filing.

Post by Wrapitup Mon Mar 04, 2013 9:09 am

By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel
9:40 a.m. EST, March 4, 2013

Members of the media have already begun to gather at the federal courthouse in Tampa, hoping to catch a glimpse of Casey Anthony, who must appear this afternoon to answer questions in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

It's the first time she's been forced to come out of hiding since her July 2011 acquittal in the death of her daughter.

Anthony is required to attend a creditors meeting at the Sam M. Gibbons United States Courthouse. There, she'll be questioned by a bankruptcy trustee, and possibly also her creditors, about her financial status.

Anthony, who says she's been unemployed since her murder trial ended, could be asked about who's been supporting her financially. She could also be asked about whether she has plans to sell her story, experts say.

After an ultra-high-profile trial, Anthony was acquitted of all major charges in the death of her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee, in 2011. She has lived in hiding ever since.

Anthony's creditors include numerous people associated with her murder case, including her former attorney Jose Baez and her parents, George and Cindy Anthony. It's unclear how long today's creditors' meeting will last.

Check back later today for updates from the meeting.

A rattled Casey Anthony tried to hide her face today as she waded through a mob of photographers and reporters when she arrived at federal court in Tampa for a meeting in her bankruptcy case, her first public appearance since she was acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee in 2011.

Anthony clung to the man who exited the car with her as someone shouted repeatedly, "Did you get away with murder?"

She clutched a black floppy hat and a pair of sunglasses near her face and looked shaken up as she was surrounded. Her brown hair was loose, just below her shoulders and she wore a long black sweater, black pants and a printed blouse.

Today marks Anthony's first public appearance after more than two years in hiding.

Anthony, 26, has been unemployed for the past four years and filed for bankruptcy in January. She's almost $800,000 in debt and has less than $1,100 worth of assets, according to her bankruptcy filing.

She is scheduled to appear in federal court in Tampa, Fla., this afternoon. Anthony has not made any public appearances since her 2011 acquittal in the alleged murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

The few glimpses of Anthony since her July 2011 release from jail have been a few leaked video diaries and some photos of her in Florida.

Anthony was convicted on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement, stemming from her initial statements to detectives. Two of the lying convictions were overturned in January, the same day she filed for bankruptcy.

The bankruptcy filing includes 15 pages of people who have made claims, including legal consultants, media consultants, authorities, the IRS and Anthony's parents. The most sizeable claim is from Anthony's former defense attorney Jose Baez who says she owes him $500,000.

The filing details Anthony's personal property, which includes some 10-year-old furniture at her family home, a laptop, some clothing, a pearl necklace, family photos, books, a sapphire and opal ring, two digital cameras and a bike. The total value of the items is just over $1,000.

Anthony's attorney Charles Greene did not immediately respond to request for comment today, but told ABCNews.com in January that it will be a while before Anthony can take any kind of job, saying that life will "never be normal" for the woman who still breaks down in tears at times.

"You don't go from the most hated woman in the world, according to some media outlets, to being a normal person or being able to live a normal life," Greene said. "I'm not saying she's not a normal person, but people do not perceive her as a normal person."

Greene said that Anthony still receives threats and lives in hiding, despite the fact that both her prison time and probation have been served.Hiding? LOL

She is the target of a number of civil lawsuits, which also prevents her from moving, Greene said.

He will not comment on Anthony's whereabouts, but her last known location was in Florida and it is likely she is still in the area, due to her ongoing legal matters. Suspect

"We think that once the lawsuits are over she'll be able to go where we think she is going to ultimately end up and then start about the process of getting a job," he said. "She's going to be 27 in March. She's still a young person and she's basically in a virtual prison based on her inability to move. So she would like to get a job, I can assure you, but she can't work at McDonald's. People would be looking at her instead of at the menu."

Greene is adamant that Anthony has a story to tell, but that telling it right now is "not even under consideration except to say no."

"There will be no tell-all book, there is no tell-all movie," he said. "Her ability to progress and to grow up and to even be at her normal age was thwarted by what's happened to her in the last few years and what we believe happened to her in her earlier life, but that's her story to tell one day."
