Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma Empty Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma

Post by Nama Tue Dec 29, 2009 1:45 am

The holidays are a time for loved ones to be together, but Niki Shenold worries her best friend's family has been forgotten. 44-year-old Bobby Jamison, his 40-year-old wife, Sherilyn, and their 6-year-old daughter, Madyson have been missing since October 7th.

The family's truck was found near the town of Red Oak in Latimer County.

Investigators found a small dog, cell phones, a global positioning system, maps, shoes, jackets, and cash inside the truck.

More than 300 volunteers searched the heavily-wooded area nearby for weeks with no results.

Shenold is Sherilyn's best friend. The two met in 1998 in the metro, bonded over books, and the friendship took off.

Shenold says, "Our daughters were born exactly one month apart and they were best friends as well."

The Jamison's had a lake house in Eufaula and loved it so much they moved there full time.

Shenold says, "They were good people. People are speculating about drug deals and this or that, but they just were people trying to live. I don't know what to think, I mean it's as if they stepped out of the truck and vanished."

After weeks of unsuccessful searches, Shenold says she's convinced the family is gone for good.

She says she wants to grieve, but can't because she does not know where Sherilyn, Bobby, and young Madyson are located.

Shenold says, "Somebody knows something and all they have to do is come forward and say this is where they can be found. At this point, I just want them found. I don't even care what happened, I just want them found."

Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma Empty Re: Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma

The Eufaula family was looking to buy 40 acres of land near Red Oak when they promptly disappeared. Their abandoned truck was found by hunters last weekend, but this doesn't look like a case where they vanished on their own accord. Their dog was found in the truck malnourished after days of going without food or water. Police also discovered their IDs, wallets and a substantial amount of cash.

Nothing in their past says the family was experiencing any trouble or wanted to disappear and start a new life. "It didn't look like to me that they got out and walked, it just looked like they got out and that was it," Sheriff Isreal Beauchamp told NewsOn6-TV. "They didn't take their coats, it was kind of cold that day, they didn't take their cell phones, of course they didn't take their dog."

Searches have spent days going over the countryside, but dense trees and the hilly area are making for slow going.

Bobby Jamison is 44, 6-foot-3, and has a back problem that causes him to slouch. Wife Sherilynn Jamison is 40, stands 5-foot-7, and weighs 105 pounds. Daughter Madyson is blond and 6-year-old, and is said to be missing her baby teeth in the front of her mouth.

In May, Bobby Dale Jamison filed a civil suit against his parents Bobby Dean and Scarlet Jean Jamison for more than $10,000 for the loss of money to which he said he was entitled when his father sold the family gas station.
Bobby Jamison took out a protective order against his father in May, but authorities said it has been dismissed and appears unrelated to the disappearance of the younger Jamison and his family.
In the suit, the missing Jamison alleges his father enticed him to work for free at the Oklahoma City gas station, but with the understanding that one day, the son would have a half-interest in the station when he was older.

this sounds so bad, no one would leave their cash, cell phones and their DOG, esp a little dog. Not a car jacking...a hit by the father for Bobby suing him?? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time? Maybe they saw something they should not have seen.

Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma Empty EquuSearch

Post by Nama Tue Dec 29, 2009 11:25 am

10/22/09 — Texas EquuSearch was contacted today by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (“OSBI”), who requested our assistance in a search for a missing Eufaula, Oklahoma family. The family, Bobby Jamison, Sherilynn Jamison and Madyson Jamison disappeared in Latimer County, and authorities are now searching a rural area near Red Oak.

Tim Miller will be traveling to Oklahoma tomorrow morning to assist the OSBI in hopes of finding the Jamison family.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The search is covering about two to three square. Searchers are facing a big challenge with the dense trees and the rugged terrain. Throw in the mud, and the sheriff says even the search crews are having a hard time getting into the wilderness to do their job.

"We've already had to have people towed out," said Latimer County Sheriff Israel Beauchamp. "We've had people slide off the side. The conditions on the road are getting worse, and they're just going to get worse as more people come up here"

With rocky ridgelines and a vast amount of uncharted land, the sheriff says this is a dangerous part of the county, and he's worried since the family has been gone for so long.

"A lot of worry, wondering if they're still alive, wondering why they can't find them. I'm just praying to God, to everybody, that they are alive and that they can come back home," said Connie Kokotan, Sherilynn Jamison's mother.

Kokotan says her daughter's family loved the outdoors, and the Latimer County sheriff says they were looking to buy 40 acres of land in the area where they disappeared.

Kokotan also says investigators are looking for a man who lived with the family last summer in their Eufaula home.

"Nothing makes sense. I don't even understand why they were up that far, away from their home," said Connie Kokotan.

The sheriff says that part of the county is very dangerous, with rocky terrain and thick trees. It's very easy to get lost.

Kokotan is praying her daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law are simply somewhere else and hopes someone, somewhere, has that crucial bit of information that will solve the mystery.

"I can't understand why this has happened to them and I'm hoping that they can be returned safely home," said Connie Kokotan.

This story really hits home for me. I live about twenty miles from Eufaula it's a nice little town with friendly people. We heard this story a lot on local news at first and now there's nothing. It's so hard to believe a family could just disappear without a trace.Everyone around here has their own opinion what happen. The only thing they agree on is something terrible happen and their not coming home alive.

Janie, if you hear anything new..please let us know. That must be a bit scary living so close.

It's very confusing wondering just what happened to them.

Was the vehicle locked? Where was the vehicle found? How was it parked? Was there land for sale near the location of the vehicle?
I can see them parking and getting out to wader around looking at property, but certainly not leaving a lot of cash in the vehicle without it being locked. I have a small dog with a HUGE attitude, and I am sure she would someone trying to get in my vehicle, but because she is small (BostonT/French Bull mix)
Since cash coats and dog were found in the vehicle, I am wondering if there was some sort of hole they might have fallen into, a natural crevice, or something like a sink hole.. I have driven through the area, and know it is pretty much like a wilderness. Terrain is very rough...

This incident would be good fodder for those who believe in alien abduction...I don't, but it is really strange. I can't see them going very far from the car with the dog and cash in it, but from all that I've read there was no sign of a scuffle or extra footprints around or anything like that around--like if someone had forced them out of the vehicle with a gun or something...I just don't get it. I saw on another site that Bobby's father died Dec. 10. Does anyone know how he died? Had he been sick? Just wondered if this case contributed to his death...He was only 67.

Some interesting info:

Beauchamp said both Bobby and Sherrilyn Jamison are disabled and do not work. He said Bobby Jamison was injured in a car accident, but he declined to elaborate on Sherrilyn Jamison’s disability.

The family often traveled to time-share units around the country, he said. They were originally from the Oklahoma City area, but had recently moved to Eufaula.

Family members of the Jamisons did not immediately return phone calls to The Associated Press for comment Friday.

Bobby Dale Jamison filed a civil lawsuit in Oklahoma County against his father, Bobby Dean Jamison, earlier this year in a dispute over ownership of a gas station in Oklahoma City. In the lawsuit, which is still pending, Bobby Dale Jamison alleges his father threatened his family.

The father denied those claims in a legal filing. Neither he nor his attorney immediately returned phone calls to the AP for comment Friday.

Beauchamp said he’s interviewed the father and doesn’t believe the court dispute has anything to do with the family’s disappearance.

“Nothing is leading us in that direction,” the sheriff said. “But at this time, we’re leaving everything open.”

Post by lisette Thu Sep 02, 2010 8:40 pm

Got curious if there was any news on this missing family, and I came across this article with lots of UNUSUAL facts that I had not read before.

Eufaula family’s fate remains mystery
Eufaula couple, missing since Oct. 9, told pastor of seeing spirits on roof, in their house
BY RON JACKSON and JOHNNY JOHNSON
Published: May 2, 2010

WILBURTON — The Sans Bois Mountain range holds many secrets, from Prohibition-era stills to Indian Territory legends of cave-dwelling outlaws. A recent mystery centers on the dark and bewildering disappearance of a Eufaula couple, who told their minister they were being haunted by demons and spirits.

Nearly seven months have passed since Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and their 6-year-old daughter, Madyson, vanished from those mountains. Investigators have encountered a maze of possibilities when studying the family’s history, leaving open every scenario from murder to the staging of their own deaths.

Interviews with friends and relatives, court records and letters the Jamisons left behind depict a family in turmoil.

"Normally, you can go through an investigation, and one by one, start to eliminate certain scenarios,” said Israel Beauchamp, Latimer County sheriff. "We haven’t been able to do that in this case. With this family, everything seems possible.”

The Jamisons were last seen alive Oct. 9 by a local man as the family was looking for a plot of land for sale. Eight days later a hunter reported the family’s abandoned pickup at a well site in the mountains northwest of Red Oak.

Inside the locked, four-door pickup with the keys in the ignition they found Bobby Jamison’s wallet, his wife’s purse, a cell phone, a GPS unit, clothing and $32,000 stuffed in a bank bag beneath the driver’s seat. They also found Maizy, a family dog barely clinging to life.

There were no signs of a struggle.

"The dog was eating its own feces to stay alive,” Beauchamp said. "Why would anyone leave their family pet like that? Doesn’t make sense. Then again, nothing seems to make sense about this case.

"A lot of investigators would love to have as many leads as we do. The problem is they point in so many different directions.”

A topographical map of the mountain hangs in his office to remind him of the unsolved case. Lines crisscross the map, documenting the four massive searches that involved hundreds of volunteers, horses, mules, four-wheelers, 16 teams of cadaver dogs, helicopters and even an unmanned drone.

The 31-year-old sheriff, a former U.S. Army Ranger and drug officer, needs little reminding. His mind is consumed by questions and theories.

"Throughout this whole process, I’ve found myself going back and forth as to what might have happened,” Beauchamp said. "I’m at my wit’s end. I have asked for all the help I could get — 12 FBI agents, three OSBI agents, Troop Z (of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol), private investigators who have contacted me. I even belittled myself to the point where I listened to psychics.”

Demons and spirits
Gary Brandon, a Eufaula pastor, told investigators the Jamisons were engaged in spiritual warfare. He said Bobby Jamison told him he often saw "two to four spirits on the roof” of their lakeside Eufaula home.
Once, Bobby Jamison called Brandon to inquire whether there were "special bullets” he could use to shoot the spirits, the minister told investigators. He told the pastor he was reading the "satanic bible” for a natural remedy.

Investigative notes show Sherilyn Jamison told Brandon there were "three to four spirits” in the house, including children named Michael and Emily, and that Madyson often talked to Emily’s sister — a spirit that had wings. Sherilyn Jamison wasn’t afraid, though. She believed she had the gift to cast out demons.

Graffiti on a massive storage container outside their home also prompted questions. One message reads: "3 cats killed to date buy people in this area … Witches don’t like there black cat killed.” Beauchamp said the family planned to live in the container once they acquired mountain property.

Beauchamp said the paranoia could suggest an addiction to drugs, but has found no evidence they were users or dealers. Ruling out the role of drugs in the family’s disappearance is another issue.

The circumstantial evidence can’t be ignored, the sheriff said. Both had lost substantial weight in the months before vanishing. They carried large amounts of cash. And a security camera mounted at their house showed them moving in what Beauchamp described as trance-like motions.

"On the video sometimes they would just stop and stare,” Beauchamp said. "It was strange.”

Connie Kokotan, Sherilyn Jamison’s mother, now wonders about a comment Bobby made last summer.

"They were having financial trouble,” said Kokotan, 59, of Midwest City. "Bobby told Sherilyn, ‘I know where I can get the money, but I won’t involve you.’ But if they were involved in drugs, I never saw any.”

Kokotan lived with the family between March and June last year. She described her daughter as bipolar, and said Bobby Jamison lived with back pain from an automobile wreck in 2003.

"Sherilyn was a very strong-willed person, but I saw her change dramatically,” Kokotan said. "She became very illogical. One day she drove me to Oklahoma City and dropped me off on the street. She told me to, ‘Get ... out of my car.’ So I did.”

Murder-suicide?
Investigators have ruled out nothing, including murder-suicide. An 11-page letter from Sherilyn Jamison to her husband was found in the pickup. Beauchamp described it as "a hate letter” in which she derides him as a "hermit.”
Eufaula police found another letter in their home that dwelled on the spiritual realm of death.

"They were certainly a family obsessed with death,” said Beauchamp, adding that a .22-caliber pistol registered to Sherilyn Jamison is unaccounted for. Kokotan said she was with her daughter the day she bought the pistol "informally” from a Muskogee man.

"I think someone killed them, and they’re still up there,” Kokotan said.

Investigators entertained the idea the Jamisons staged their deaths. They owned two timeshares in Mexico and several across the United States, Beauchamp said. None have been used since they vanished.

Foul play?
Motives for murder are abundant. Beauchamp said that’s why every possible scenario remains open — robbery, revenge, a bad drug deal, even a professional hit.
A collective portrait of the family led investigators to conclude they were "scammers,” Beauchamp said. Both had been receiving disability checks. They were plaintiffs in at least two civil lawsuits, including one against Bobby Jamison’s father, Bobby Dean Jamison.

"We were told they were also planning to sue the Eufaula School District,” Beauchamp said. "Over what, I have no idea.”

One family friend questioned by investigators stayed with the Jamisons in Eufaula until being asked to leave at gunpoint.

"He had the barrel stuck in his ear by Sherilyn,” Beauchamp said. "At first you think, ‘Great, here’s someone with a motive.’ But the FBI cleared him.”

A man who lived a quarter mile from where the pickup was found is the last known person to see the family as they ventured up the mountain. He, too, was questioned.

"The man claimed he never saw the family after that,” Beauchamp said. "Nor did he see anyone else go up or come down.”

A security camera at the Jamisons’ home offered another possible clue. Before the trip to Latimer County, investigators saw Sherilyn place a brown leather briefcase in the pickup. The briefcase was never found.

"I think it might have held a lot of cash,” Beauchamp said. "I’ve gone back and forth on this thing, but my latest theory — based on how the truck was parked and what was found in the truck — I think they were forced to stop and got out of the truck to meet with someone they recognized. And I think they either left willingly or by force.

"What happened to them after that is a mystery. Will we ever find them? I sure hope so.”

I am Connie Kokotan, Sherrilyn Jamison's mother. My family has been missing since October the 8'th in the San bois mountains. The missing family is the Jamison family, Bobby, Sherrilyn and little Madyson. It doesn't seem possible that they could just go missing without a trace. I have recently found out that the FBI has closed the case and it is now considered a cold case. It appears that they walked a few feet from the truck and something happened to them, never to be seen again. I believe in my heart that harm has been done to them, but i pray that they didn't have to suffer. It hurts me to think about a number of things that could have been done to them. I have to live with that the rest of my life. The grief is overwhelming. My biggest prayer is that they can be found. God does do mighty things. It's bad enough that this has happened but i just found out that my daughter's mother-in- law has gotten a court order so that she has possession of the house, furnishings, money, and any thing on the outside of the house including 2 cars and the truck. There are 2 other pieces of property just down the street with a boat and a bobcat on it that she has control of as well. There is a great amount of money that should go to the 15 year old son for college and he was not with the family at the time the family went missing. If the money is given to her she is going to try to pay off the house, which the family had lost a great amount of income and had decided not to keep the house. She has a large settlement from her divorce. Her divorced husband died a couple of weeks ago and she is going to try to get every thing back from the settlement. I have no funding to stop her from taking everything, including family heirlooms. There is only 2 adults that should be taking care of this matter and that would be my son-in-laws mother and myself. I pray for God to watch this family. Thank you for any prayers. We need all the help possible. Connie

Monday Nov 2

Hi. I have been best friends with Sherilyn for 11 years. I SAW HER LAST ON SEPTEMBER FIRST WHEN SHE AND MADYSON SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE. SHE WAS IN A BAD WAY EMOTIONALLY AND ACTING VERY BIZARRE,(EVEN FOR HER). THAT EVENING, WE SPOKE ON THE PHONE AND ARGUED, REALLY ARGUED. WE HAD NEVER HAD A CONVERSATION AS BAD AS THAT ONE IN THE ENTIRE 11 YEARS WE HAD BEEN FRIENDS. I AM BESIDE MYSELF NOW-I FEEL SO GUILTY AND I'M NOT EVEN SURE WHY.
THIS IS WHAT I KNOW FROM OUR VISIT IN MY HOME THAT DAY.
SHE WAS IN MWC LOOKING AT RENT HOUSES. SHE SAID SHE WAS LEAVING BOBBY. SHE SPOKE OF THE MAN WHO HAD LIVED WITH THEM OVER THE SUMMER. THEY HAD ANSWERED AN ADD IN THE PAPER AND HIRED HIM TO HELP BOBBY WITH STUFF AROUND THE HOUSE(DUE TO HIS BACK) AND GAVE HIM ROOM AND BOARD IN RETURN. HE HAD NO VEHICLE. HE ENDED UP TELLING SHERILYN THAT HE WAS A WHITE SUPREMIST AND SHE SHOULD DIE BECAUSE OF HER INDIAN HERITAGE. THEY HAD HIM LEAVE THAT DAY. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT HER SON, COLTON HAD GONE TO LIVE WITH HIS FATHER. SHE SAID SHE SIGNED OVER RIGHTS TO HIM. THE SHERILYN I KNEW, WOULD HAVE NEVER DONE THAT-NOT FOR ALL THE $ IN THE WORLD, NOT IN A MILLION YEARS. WE TALKED ABOUT ALOT OF DISTURBING THINGS.... BUT THIS WAS ALL I FELT RELEVENT OR THAT WOULD NOT PAINT PEOPLE WITH A DIFFERENT BRUSH.
ONE THING I WOULD LIKE TO SAY IS THAT BOBBY IS A KIND, GENTLE AND WONDERFUL MAN/FATHER. SHERILYN IS A GOOD PERSON WITH SEVERE DEPRESSION. SHE HAD BEEN DIAGNOSED AS BIPOLAR WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS. THEY DID NOT HAVE $ ON THEM FOR DRUGS. THATS JUST ABSURD. AND THE DOG EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT WAS A SHITZUH PUPPY-VERY TINY. WHICH IS NOW BEING CARED FOR BY BOBBYS MOM. SHE WAS TAKEN TO THE VET AND CHECKED OUT THOUROUGHLY. AND IS DOING WELL NOW.
I AM JUST SO SAD ABOUT ALL OF THIS. THE FBI CALLED ME AND ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SHERILYN. BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING NEW. I HOPE I PUT SOME END TO SOME SPECULATION AND I HOPE PEOPLE WHO MAKE STUPID COMMENTS ABOUT ALIENS AND SASQUATCH WILL FIND COMPASSION AND STOP.
PRAYING FOR SOME NEWS.

Holy Moly--there is so much more to this case than I thought. I was just thinking of this family today and re-found the thread.
It's been a year.

Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma Empty Eufaula Family's Disappearance Still A Mystery One Year Later

Family and friends of a missing Eufaula family are still praying for answers. Bobby and Sherilynn Jamison along with their daughter Madyson were last seen one year ago Friday.

They were looking at land near Red Oak in rural Latimer County when they vanished.
"We still have hope, we still have faith, and, until they're back, there's still hope," said Star Jamison, Bobby Jamison's Mother.

For the Jamison's October 8th is a tragic reminder.

"We're coping. You know, we cry and then we cheer ourselves up, you know it hurts a lot," she said.

It was one year ago Friday when Star Jamison's son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter disappeared. Bobby, Sherilynn, and Madyson were in rural Latimer County, on Panola Mountain.

All that was found was the family's truck, with thousands of dollars inside, and their dog; she had been locked in the cab for a week.

Twelve months later and Mazy is doing fine, but the Jamison family is still searching for answers. They have no idea if the three are alive.

"I go back and forth with that. I don't believe Sherilynn and Bobby are alive, absolutely. I want to believe Madyson's alive," said Niki Shenold, a family friend.

Latimer County Sheriff Isreal Beauchamp says the case has him frustrated and disappointed. But he also points out; state and local authorities have spent nearly a million dollars in the search for the Jamisons.

The sheriff says they've expended dozens leads but haven't found anything to point one way or the other. He says search teams have spent 39 days on the mountain in the past year and tips are still coming in to the FBI and US Marshalls.

As the family leans on each other, they hope that one day, the mystery will be solved.

"I'm not sure if they're going to come home, but I'm certain I will find answers one day" Shenold said.

Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma Empty Loved ones remain hopeful to find missing Eufaula family alive

Post by Nama Fri Oct 15, 2010 10:53 pm

Loved ones remain hopeful that a missing Eufaula family will be found alive.

It's now been a year since Bobby Jamison, his wife Sherrilyn and the couple's 6 year-old daughter Madyson disappeared.

"Right now it's just hard because I don't know. I just don't know what happened," says Bobby's Mother Star Jamison.

A witness last saw the family on October 8, 2009 - as they were exploring land they were looking at buying in the Mountains near Red Oak. Eleven days later their truck was found abandoned on that same land.

Their ID's, cell phones, cash and the family dog were still locked inside. It appears the dog had been in the truck for a long time. A search of the area came up empty.

"They don't deserve to be forgotten", says Sherrilyn's best friend Niki Shenold.

Shenold says false rumors about the couple's involvement in witchcraft and drugs have clouded the families search for real answers. "A lot of people are judging because they don't know them. I knew them. I knew Sherriyln for 11 years. I knew Bobby for seven years. He was the kindest and most gentle man I ever met."

Star Jamison says, "It's just really hard because I know my son would have protected his wife and my grandbaby. But I just grieve because I don't know what happened."

During a vigil at the Jamison's home on Friday, their loved ones released three colors of balloons, each representing a member of a family who remains lost.

Star prays they will be found before the next anniversary of their disappearance rolls around. "Whether we find their bodies or we find them alive - we will find them."

Anyone with information about the disappearance is asked to call the Latimer County Sheriff's Office.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but why would anyone take them and leave a lot of cash behind? Nothing makes any sense at all.

Has anyone gone over and talked to Jack Jamison in Sallisaw? Has anyone taken any pictures of HIM? Bet he would look like a deer in head lights!!!! If you know what I mean!! I think there needs to be a fundraiser on his front lawn with signs saying "find the Jamison Family" "bring the Jamisons home!" If he and his wonderful wife are such "God fearing" good religious wonderful people, WHY THE HELL AREN'T THEY HELPING OUT OR DOING ANYTHING????Huh??/ Hey Jack, how about some answers from Y O U !!!!!!! What's the matter? Cant face the truth?????You can't stay hid and run forever! All leads point to you!

Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison and daughter Madyson missing in Eufaula, Oklahoma Empty Sounds like a wild and dangerous place to live

Post by Nama Fri Oct 15, 2010 11:17 pm

i am talking about hartshorne okla as the town where evil lives. the whole area from wister to mcalester is poison now. it used to be beautiful country with wonderful people. now it makes me uneasy just driving through there. in the early 90's (not sure about the year) a girl named darla rose was mutilated and murdered. she was from hartshorne and her body was found in mcalester at the fairgrounds. her murder remains unsolved to this day. in april '99 matt cook disappeared without a trace. between then and aug. of that year there were several deaths within the same extended group of people. two were heart attacks? three died in a house fire? one was a 35yr old woman who shouldnt have died. since i moved i have heard about a questionable suicide and a questionable hunting accident in which a friend of mine was killed, and thats just the ones i feel comfortable mentioning on a public forum. i am sure there are some who were so deep into the abyss that they hadnt seen their families for a very long time and nobody reported them missing. the area is so very rural that it was easy for the drug culture to grow undetected until school teachers and city workers, business owners, even LE started getting strung out and by then the dragon was bigger than the mote and thats when i took my children and left. it will be interesting to see what kind of pandora's box comes flying open when/if they put real resources into a search of the mountains back there behind red oak. that is some seriously rough going. i do not want to think that the jamisons and their beautiful little Madyson fell prey to any of that nastiness.

There are many, many pages of discussion about this case on WS

Vigil for missing eastern Oklahoma family Saturday

An eastern Oklahoma family that vanished will be remembered in a vigil Saturday night as family and friends continue to search two years after their disappearance.
The Jamison family has been missing from Eufaula since Oct. 8, 2009.
The family includes the father Bobby, wife Sherilyn and their daughter Madyson, 6. Their abandoned pickup with a small dog was found Oct. 17, 2009.
A candlelight vigil will be 8 p.m. Saturday at Posey Park in Eufaula.
Niki Shenold, leader and founder of the “Find the Jamisons” group, said their mission is to raise awareness about the family to find them. The group is known as the “Jamisons Warriors.”
There is a Facebook page set up that can be found at the website address: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
“We are trying to get the message out nationally that they are still missing under suspicious circumstances,” Shenold said.
