Police expand search for Jessica Williams/Body found!

Police are taking a search for a missing Collinsville woman to the air. 30 year-old, Jessie M. Williams, was reported missing by her boyfriend on Thursday afternoon--however, no one had seen or heard from her since March 3.
Police describe Williams as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes--she is 5'8" tall and weighs 180 lbs.

COLLINSVILLE, IL (KMOX) - The mother of a missing Collinsville woman fears her daughter disappeared after a trying to buy Heroin. Virginia Thomason tells KMOX 30-year old Jessie Williams was last seen nearly a week ago after getting out of jail.

Thomason believes her daughter met with a drug dealer that lied about the encounter with Jessie. Thomason says she thought her daughter had kicked the Heroin habit….but when she was using, she would generally go to East St. Louis to buy drugs

Madison County Sheriff’s Captain Mike Dixon says Jessie’s boyfriend told authorities the last time he saw her was very early last Saturday morning. Dixon would not say foul play is suspected, however he said given the length of time Jessie has been missing, that’s a concern.

Missing woman Jessica "Jessie" Williams was discovered days ago, dead, in Washington Park. Though her cause of death is still unknown, police do think for certain that her body was dumped post-mortem.

What could this mean? Since there is no apparent cause of death, is it possible that the missing woman could have died of a drug overdose, only to be dumped later so as to avoid the problem of reporting this kind of death? The mother of Jessie Williams expressed her concerns for the 29-year-old Collinsville woman's heroin addiction. Although Jessie had allegedly "cleaned up," her mother was concerned that she had fallen off the wagon when she disappeared a couple of weeks ago.

Hopefully detectives can get to the bottom of this and find out who dumped Jessie's body and when. If she was murdered, it will show in the autopsy results, but it's reported that investigators are waiting for the results of toxicology tests.
