Search for teen persists
Doug Paulsen
Somebody has been going around saying my daughter has been found. We've only found a couple incidents. I don't know if it's an ongoing thing, someone misinformed or malicious.

The search for 15-year-old Danica Leigh Paulsen continues.
The talented all "A's" Centennial sophomore has been missing since early Oct. 3, when she mysteriously left her family home.
"She was going to bed and she said, 'Oh, dad, I need a note for life guarding class because I can't get this splint wet.' She had chipped a bone in her finger at basketball practice and was wearing a splint. Two hours later she was gone," father Doug Paulsen said.
"We believe she snuck out for only a couple hours, (ONLY? did she do this often??) but what changed, I don't know. She didn't take her ID, clothes, makeup — and she's very meticulous about how she looks."

A Pueblo girl missing for more than a month was found Wednesday night in Roswell, N.M., police said.
Danica Leigh Paulsen, 15, disappeared from her home Oct. 3.
Detective Dustin Taylor said Pueblo police learned Paulsen was in Roswell and notified police there, who then alerted the community.
Paulsen then turned herself in.
"She was just hanging out. (Paulsen left) to be with her boyfriend. She's healthy and she's home now," Taylor said.
Whether Paulsen's flight could yield an arrest is "still to be determined," Taylor said, declining to talk further about the case.
The search for Paulsen, a talented Centennial High School sophomore, included help from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
