Sneiderman POLL
Aug. 27, 2013
Dunwoody day care widow Andrea Sneiderman is trying to get her husband's insurance money returned, now that prosecutors dropped murder charges against her.
The state had seized more than $2 million in assets after her arrest.
Prosecutors initially alleged she helped plan the murder of Rusty Sneiderman outside the Dunwoody Prep in 2010, but dismissed that charge shortly before her trial.
Last week, a jury convicted Andrea Sneiderman of lying to police and the jury in her boss's murder trial.
Rusty Sneiderman's relatives are asking a judge to freeze the assets until their wrongful death case against Andrea Sneiderman and convicted killer Hemy Neuman is resolved.
