Missing Mother, to be, Aileen Cepeda Velasquez/ video proof that Velasquez voluntarily left the US and went to Puerto Rico
Where is Aileen Cepeda Velasquez? She disappeared from Marion Place, Jersey City, New Jersey the night before her baby was due to be born. She left her home at about 6 p.m. to buy a soda and has not been seen since. When she left she did not bring her keys, cell phone or wallet with her.
The owner of the store Ms. Velasquez was headed to says she never made it there that evening. There is however a videotape from the store of Ms. Velasquez passing the store earlier in the day when she was walking her daughters to school.
Description of Aileen Cepeda Velasquez
Aileen has brown hair and eyes. She is 5-feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. Aileen is age 27.
Aileen has a Facebook page but she has not posted since her disappearance. Could this expectant mother have been kidnapped for the baby she was carrying? The timing of the disappearance is very suspicious.
Is there someone who wanted the baby or who did not want the baby to be born? It is very alarming that a pregnant woman could disappear from her own neighborhood so unexpectedly.
Aileen had her bags packed and waiting by the front door for when she went into labor. She was clearly intending to be at home during the time frame when labor started.
It is very unlikely that she disappeared voluntarily. She had two young daughters and her Mother at home. She would not abandon her daughters and disappear without a trace of her own free will.
Someone in Jersey City must have information about where Aileen Cepeda Velasquez is. This city is very densely populated. It is surprising that someone could go missing without a witness spotting the incident.
Perhaps there should be some device created for pregnant women to wear that could track their whereabouts. Perhaps a tiny chip tracking device could be implanted in a piece of jewelry or something that they wore every day.
Pregnant women are vulnerable to crime. They may be distracted by not feeling well and they are an easy target for crime.
Right now Jersey City is awash with flyers about the missing status of Ms. Velasquez. As each day passes worries grow about the safety of Aileen.

I rather like the idea of a trace chip for pregnant women, but also for any person with any medical condition who might be missing. We already have medical alert jewelry, what not make them so the person can be traced in the event of an accident or sudden emergency situation.

video proof that Velasquez voluntarily left the United States and went to Puerto Rico
Police initially thought that the pregnant Jersey City woman who disappeared from her home last week without her wallet, ID, cell phone or keys was missing, but now they are saying it was all a farce.
Aileen Cepeda Velasquez, 27, of Marion Place, said she was going to the store for a moment on the evening of Jan. 26 -- a day before her due date -- but she never returned.
Juanita Pacheco, a friend of Velasquez, filed the missing person report with police last week. But police said yesterday they have procured video proof that Velasquez voluntarily left the United States and went to Puerto Rico, said Lt. Edgar Martinez, Jersey City police spokesman.
The Journal paid a visit to her mother at her Marion Place residence yesterday, but the woman said in Spanish that she didn't know anything and refused to comment "because of nerves."
A native of Puerto Rico and the mother of 9- and 5-year-old girls, Velasquez reportedly was nine months pregnant with another baby girl, although at 5-foot-2, the 130-pound woman never showed any signs of pregnancy, police said.
The children's father is in Puerto Rico, police said.
"The Police Department is reaching out to people in an attempt to get (Velasquez) to speak with her mother and her children and police to let everyone know that she is OK," said Martinez, noting that until they talk to her, she is still classified as a missing person.
Police Director Samuel Jefferson said the department is "working in conjunction with other agencies" in an effort to stop crimes before they occur.
"The Jersey City Police Department works with the TSA and other agencies to help avoid a farce like this," he said, adding "a thousand man hours were wasted trying to track down this woman."

Is she really pregnant?
However, she's still classified as a missing person because authorities haven't spoken with her. They're also trying to determine whether the Jersey City woman is, in fact, pregnant.
Her boyfriend, who is the father of the children, lives in Puerto Rico. Relatives say she planned to visit him soon, but declined further comment.

Something very wrong with this situation.. I am glad that until authorities can confirm she is actually where she is said to be, she remains listed MISSING!

Velasquez will remain classified as a missing person until authorities received confirmation form Velasquez, herself.
