Craig's List's Child Trafficking Ads now censored!

For years, Craig's List's Adult Services category was subject to complaint and discussion. It became clear to some that cared enough that many of these ads were advertising trafficking of children for sex, and some were trafficking of captive women. A reporter of CNN pursued this all this while. Craig of Craig's list always claimed that his company was screening the ads and would report suspicious ones to the authorities. This reporter found out that they never reported to the proper authority, nor did they screen the ads. She put pressure to bear on the founder of this company and now the Adult Services section has been censored. Kudos to this reporter!!!! We will never know how many children and young captive women have been saved as the result of her actions. The business for these criminal pimps and child predators had been very brisk and profitable because of the Craig's List ads. It has been said that there are other lists that should be investigated as well, but this was a big advertiser in this criminal activity.

I have long thought that we should have a TOPIC about the Crimes related to ads placed on Craig's List.

In the news we are now hearing about crimes happening on other social networking sites.
LAW MAKERS need to keep up with Technology and help protect the innocent from falling victim to these types of Crimes.

In complete agreement. This is what is wrong with our world today. People have access to almost anything on the web. It can be used for a person's higher good or for horrific crimes against children, cyber bullying, and much more. I am sure it is hard for law enforcement to keep up with it. The FBI, IMO..needs to have a section of agents that do nothing else but monitor all social websites.
