the above is all of the movers and shakers of politics in the capital of Oregon. Cory and I have been talking, among other's to get busy with the politician's in the area....trying to get the most wonderful idea going...Leah's Law!!!!!! It will change the law in Oregon now that allows a murderer to go free because of a statue' of Limitations. Nick could then be charged, Leah's life would mean even more with a law named after her. W have a lot of people that are good with words, we need to get something that grabs the lawmakers attention in the letter. Any suggestions? I thought of picketing outside the oregon capital, wearing sandwich boards, etc, Leah's law Tee shirts. Any ideas???? Lets all give it some thought and get back together on ideas. Love, 🐶

Most Representatives and Senators have ended the use of real email addresses and only use web forms.
Tip: Fax your letters instead of mailing them because Congressional mail security screening can delay postal letters by a few weeks, particularly during security alerts.http://www.conservativeusa.org/mega-cong.htm#Oregon

Leah's Law Empty Leah Law

Who is sponsoring this law? There is not a statue of limitations on murder. I think the law that needs changed that could be called Leah Law would make it possible for the State to press charges on people who are involved in any way of covering up a murder or destroying evidence in a murder.

I was under the impression that Cory was fighting for a Leah Law to have no statue of Limitations for other parties involved in a Murder, meaning the accomplices who help dispose of a body or help cover up the murder. LM is right, I don't think there would ever be a statue of limitations for a murderer in any state, but there can be for accomplices. 🇳🇴 head bang la la la over reaction

I've mentioned this before, but how ridiculous is it to have a statute of limitations for aiding and abetting or for accessory to or after a murder!? That means that if you keep your mouth shut long enough you can "get away with murder" (helping)! By then, even if you talk, evidence can be lost or destroyed! There should be NO statute of limitations for any crime involving a murder! soap box

I don't think there should be a statute of limitations for ANY criminal offense. Why should justice suffer because LE didn't act in a timely manner, or because tools to examine evidence was not available at the time? If new evidence is available that can prove a convicted inmate innocent there is no statute of limitaions, as there should not be, but why not work both ways.
