JVM interviewed the gal that received a phone call from Lisa's mom's phone. This gal has bright ORANGE hair. She said her bf had her phone. Levi Page was on and looked up his FB and it said he is a drug dealer. JVM asked her if the BF is a drug dealer and she did not really answer the question.

Then, there is another dude that was seen carrying a baby that has been cleared that the Oranged haired gal used to date who she said was on meth and is in jail on other charges, but has been "cleared" in the Irwin case. Levi Page said the parent's refuse to be interviewed. I think Lisa's mom was also on drugs and alcohol that night and Lisa wasn't even a consideration.

Oh, and some other guy has come forward that he also was hanging out on the porch but he wasn't drinking with them.

Too damned complicated for me. I agree, Raine..nothing would surprise me at this point.

Where is Baby Lisa???

Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO - Page 17 Empty Attempted Call From Phone of Baby Lisa's Mother Brings New Questions

Post by Nama Tue Nov 08, 2011 7:17 pm

On the night baby Lisa Irwin disappeared, someone attempted to use her mother's cell phone to call a woman whose ex-boyfriend has a reported history of break-ins in the vicinity of the family's Kansas City home, according to police.
Megan Wright, who had been residing at a home a mile from Deborah Bradley, Lisa's mother, denies ever having received the call. She said she shared the phone with seven others and did not have the phone in her possession during the alleged call, which was attempted on the night the 10-month-old Lisa disappeared.

A resident from Wright's home contradicted her recollection, and said house members do not share phones. Both parents have said they were incapable of making phone calls, KCTV5.com reported.

A man has come forward saying he smoked and talked with the mother of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin and her friend on the front porch of the Irwin home on the night the baby went missing.

CNN correspondent Jim Spellman told HLN's Vinnie Politan that he spoke with the man – another neighbor who calls himself “Shane.”

Shane says he smoked and chatted with Deborah Bradley and her next door neighbor Samantha Brando from about 7:00 to 7:30 p.m.

He claims to have left the two women on the porch at around 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. Shane noted that he saw Brando at her home at around 10:30 p.m., but did not see Bradley.

As of right now, somebody out there knows what happened to 11-month-old Lisa Irwin, but it certainly appears that those who do know aren't speaking up like they should. Deborah Bradley is looking increasingly suspicious with the revelation of a new person hanging out with her the night the Kansas City infant vanished.

He wants to be referred to as "Shane" and he spoke to a CNN correspondant who relayed the information to HLN. "Shane" claims that he hung out and smoked with Deborah Bradley and her next-door-neighbor Samantha Brando from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is a whole hour missing from his story, however, because he later said that he left the home of Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin between 8:30 and 9:00 that night. For some reason, he was at the home of Samantha Brando that night, at around 10:30 p.m., and he says that Samantha was home, and Deborah Bradley wasn't there any longer.

Is "Shane" someone of interest in the disappearance of Lisa Irwin?

This neighbor who is remaining semi-anonymous claims that several investigative officers have been in contact with him, and he's cooperated by allowing them to swab him for DNA. It hasn't been reported on whether or not he submitted to a polygraph test, but it would be interesting to find this detail out eventually.

Baby Lisa Irwin Missing: No Interviews With Brothers Scheduled, Kansas Police Say
By Justin L. Ayoub | Christian Post Contributor

Reports surfaced yesterday that baby Lisa's brothers would be interviewed by authorities sometime this week are false, according to Kansas City police Capt. Steve Young in an email to the Examiner.

Baby Lisa's brothers were interviewed just after she disappeared, but police want to hold another interview to take DNA samples.

The brothers, ages 5 and 8, were scheduled for their second interviews two weeks ago, but the family's attorney cancelled to protect the children from the media.

The family's attorney, Joe Tacopina, said early last week the interviews would eventually be rescheduled.

Young also said police still have not confirmed any suspects in the case. He also said the reported sightings of a man walking with a baby on a surveillance video the night Lisa disappeared has not led authorities anywhere.

Young was asked whether he was still searching for a live baby Lisa, and he responded: "We're looking for everything.”

Lisa went missing from her Missouri home Oct. 4. Her case has received national attention due to the strange events that took place the night she disappeared.

Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, admitted that she fell asleep drunk the night the baby vanished. Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, worked an unusual night shift and did not return home until 4 a.m. He noticed his daughter was not in her crib and called the authorities.

Lisa's first birthday is on Friday and her grandfather, David Netz Jr. told the Kansas City Star Monday it will be an emotional time for the family.

"That's gonna be the oh-my-God moment,” said Netz.

"I can't even imagine what that day will be like. What will we do? How will we get through that? I don't even know how to ask Debbie and Jeremy what we should do or how to help them through that," he added.

Volunteers in the neighborhood held a search for Lisa over the weekend but did not find any clues as to her whereabouts.

Police have been conducting interviews all month and have searched the entire Irwin home as well as surrounding areas to find her.

Baby Lisa Irwin Missing: Lisa's Parents Described as 'Zombies' by Father of Missing Boy
By Stoyan Zaimov | Christian Post Contributor

The father of a boy who went missing 25 years ago and was never found has shared he visited the family of Baby Lisa to comfort them – but was shocked by what he discovered.

Gil Abetya’s story mirrors the trials of Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin closely. His son, Christopher, was taken from his crib a quarter of a century ago, and no one ever figured out what happened to him, reported The Examiner.

Since then, Abetya has traveled around the country meeting and comforting many parents who have lost children and are suffering something only someone who has gone through can understand. Despite the many people he has met and the stories he has heard, Abetya was shocked by the reception he got by the parents of Lisa – describing them as “zombies.”

Upon arriving in Kansas City and heading over to the Irwin household to introduce himself, he was greeted by Mike LeRette, Deborah Bradley’s cousin and one of the lawyers on the case, who told Abetya they were not permitted to talk to anyone.

Although Abetya explained who he is and persuaded the family to let him in and talk with him, he said their meeting only lasted half an hour, with Bradley cleaning the house and acting like “he was not even there,” while Abetya tried getting answers out of Irwin.

He questioned why the family had employed the services of a suspicious private investigator, and why they were not providing more answers – including allowing a lawyer to block their two young sons from giving another statement to police.

Despite his attempts to get them to talk, Abetya received little cooperation from the young couple, and said the family appeared too influenced by their attorneys, and that LeRette did most of the actual talking.

Abetya said he felt “tension, pressure, and sadness filled every square inch of the home,” and although he could understand the trauma the young family is going through, he could not explain why they have jeopardized the search for the missing baby Lisa by shutting themselves down and consulting solely with their attorneys.

Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO - Page 17 Empty Re: Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO

Post by Nama Wed Nov 09, 2011 10:39 am

Megan Wright, the woman who allegedly received a phone call from Deborah Bradley's stolen cellphone on the night baby Lisa Irwin disappeared, said she knows who received the mysterious call.

Wright continuously denied receiving the call and said she shares the phone with seven other people.

Wright appeared on the "Headline News: Special Report" show and said a man named Dane had her cellphone on both Oct. 3 and Oct. 4. She also claimed nobody else could use the phone because Dane was getting too many text messages and phone calls.

However, a person who lives with Wright said this information is false and the members of Wright's house do not share a cellphone, according to a Fox News report released on Tuesday.

Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO - Page 17 Empty Re: Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO

Post by Wrapitup Wed Nov 09, 2011 11:11 am

That's Exactly what she said on JVM last night!

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HLN HOST: Tonight, an exclusive for you in the missing Baby Lisa case. The child`s parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, say Baby Lisa was snatched from her crib in the dead of night more than a month ago. The night Baby Lisa vanished, three of the family`s cell phones also disappeared.

But one of those phones made a call to a woman named Megan Wright. She`s the ex-girlfriend of Jersey, the local handyman who was allegedly working nearby that night. We now have a clue about that mystery phone call.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MEGAN WRIGHT, RECEIVED CALL FROM MISSING PHONE: A guy named Dane supposedly had my phone all of Monday and Tuesday night, the third and the fourth of October, to the point where nobody else could have used my phone.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL; All right. So who is Dane? We`re going to lay this out for you. Here`s the expanding cast of characters in this mystery: Deborah and Jeremy, the parents of Baby Lisa, who`s missing; Phillip Nets is Deborah`s brother, he`s the one who went with Deborah to get boxed wine shortly before the child vanished, allegedly. Then you have Baby Lisa`s half brothers, the two little boys who were at home that night. Then there is the lady with the pink hair, Megan Wright. She is the ex-girlfriend of the homeless handyman, who is known as Jersey, also known as John Tanko.

Now, her phone, Megan`s phone, got a mystery phone call the night Baby Lisa went missing. We`re going to talk to Megan in just a moment.

Then there is a mystery man who was seen walking around in the dead of night with a baby who was almost naked. And now the newest member of this mystery, a guy named Dane, who apparently had Megan`s phone when the call went through. What do you make of all this. Call me, 1-877-JVM-SAYS, 1- 877-586-7297.

Straight out to CNN reporter Jim Spellman on the ground in Kansas City, where it`s all happening. What are the big bullet points, the headlines of the new developments?

JIM SPELLMAN, CNN ALL-PLATFORM JOURNALIST: We have another person on the scene here as well as Dane. We have a man named Shane. Now, this whole time we`ve known that Deb Bradley, the mother of Baby Lisa was out on her porch drinking with her next-door neighbor. We know -- now know that for at least an hour and a half of that time, a third person, a man named Shane, who was two doors down, had joined them. He wasn`t drinking, he tells. He would join them, smoking cigarettes, but it certainly changes the tableau of that night. He says he didn`t see anything. He says Deb Bradley didn`t check on the baby during that hour and a half time. But that really changes what was going on right here behind me that night -- Jane.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And what`s really fascinating about all of this, Levi Page, and you`re a crime blogger Internet radio host is the call. Let me get my cell phone out so you can visualize it, the call that came from a phone belonging to the mother of the missing child, that was supposedly taken at the time that the missing child was taken, and went to Megan, who we`re going to talk to in a second, exclusively. This call was made between 8:00 and 8:30, according to published reports, which is before the mother says that she passed out while the child was still there. What does that tell you, Levi?

LEVI PAGE, CRIME BLOGGER AND INTERNET RADIO HOST: Well, it`s interesting, because Megan says that the person who had her phone that night was a man by the name of Dane Digler (ph). And I looked up this guy`s MySpace account and he said he`s a party boy. He says that his occupation is a "street chemist", and it says his expertise, he says, quote, "I wish it was being a dad. All I`m really good at is being a cracker. Damn right. And my name is Dane and I do drugs to deal with my problems. Anyways, later."

So this is not a very savory individual here, and there`s a lot of cast of characters in this case. And I think the two people that could sort this all out for us would be Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, and they are not cooperating with the police. They refused to sit down for separate interviews. They refused to sit down together. And they have yet to allow their children to be interviewed by a child specialist in the police department. So why are they not clearing all of this up? That`s the big question.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Thank you, Levi.

And now we have our exclusive guest, Megan Wright. Now, Megan, thank you so much for joining us. We know that it`s got to be difficult for you to be in the center of this storm. And I assume you`re speaking out because you want to do whatever you can to help find this child.

Megan, ok, you have a phone. It`s a prepaid phone. A call came in from a phone that the cops say was one of the phones that was allegedly stolen from Baby Lisa`s mother`s home, at the very same time as Baby Lisa. Ok. It goes in at 8:00 p.m. That night, which is before the mother says she passed out. So that doesn`t make sense.

The second thing is, you`re telling me that your phone belongs to or was in the possession of Dane. Tell us about this guy, Dane. Because Levi Page is claiming that he`s into drugs.

WRIGHT: Well, there was eight people living at the house at the time, five adults and three kids. So my phone was pretty much community, which has been questioned, but it`s true. Dane was, from what I was told, I was downstairs at the time apparently the phone call took place, but from people in the house, what I heard is that Dane had my phone all night, to the point where nobody else could use it, because there were so many incoming text messages and phone calls for him.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Ok. Now, as far as your ex-boyfriend, John Tanko, Jersey, who was allegedly working in that neighborhood that night, and has been arrested on totally different charges, and he appeared in court on totally different charges -- there he is. Megan, you told us that Jersey was into drugs, specifically meth. Let`s listen to what you said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WRIGHT: I found out that he was getting into some drug activity.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you know what his drug -- what the drug is?

WRIGHT: Meth, from what I understand. He would disappear for hours on end with no explanation. He was quick to anger, last to understand, and it was just -- I just couldn`t handle it anymore. And towards the last couple of days, I was actually fearful for my safety, being around him.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Ok. So we know that the missing baby`s mom admits that she had about five glasses of wine the night the child went missing. That`s why she says she passed out at 10:30, doesn`t know exactly what happened. There are also published reports she was on anti-anxiety drugs. Now a family member is coming forward and telling us that she, quote, "flirted with drugs", and may have had a problem with alcohol. That she liked to drink.

In your opinion, is there any nexus between Dane, who with apparently allegedly likes drugs, and the mother, who a relative is now saying flirted with drugs? Is this phone call -- could this phone call be about that?

WRIGHT: It`s possible. Like I said, I wasn`t around when he had my phone. I was downstairs; my phone was upstairs with Dane, apparently in his possession, from what I was told.

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I don`t know this Dane, but does he push drugs? Does he push drugs? Does he push drugs?

WRIGHT: Not that I`m aware of. I don`t know him well enough to know if he does or not.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: How about Jersey? Your ex. Has he ever sold?

WRIGHT: I know that -- not that I`m aware of, never in front of me, but it is possible. Like I said, towards the end of our relationship, we didn`t spend a whole lot of time together because he was at the release center. So his activities are totally unknown to me at that time.

By c-m: the way, if Deborah Bradley, the mother of the missing child, or her -- the man she lives with, not her husband, but the man she lives with, the father of the missing child, if they want to come forward, they are invited. We reach out all the time to their attorneys. We want to hear their side of the story.

But we`re also trying to find Baby Lisa and this cast of characters is very, very strange.

More in a second with Megan.

DEBORAH: Please, please, please, call the tips hotline. If you know where she`s at, then, if you have her, please, just take her somewhere safe. No questions asked. Just drop her off with somebody at a hospital, a church, the fire department, the police station, anywhere.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Now an ISSUES exclusive. A father who knows exactly what it means to have an infant snatched from the safety of his own home. Gil Abeyta has been searching for his missing son, Christopher, for 25 years.

Gil, thank you for joining us tonight; your son was just 7 months old when he was taken from his crib. You and your wife were both accused at the time of being responsible for your son`s disappearance.

You have traveled hundreds of miles to now find Baby Lisa. You are on the ground in Kansas City. What is your theory of this case now, as we hear not just the homeless man and the mystery man with the baby? But now we`ve got Dane, the guy who supposedly had the phone when the call came in from the phone, from the family`s house, as well as Shane, some neighbor who was over there partying.

GIL ABEYTA, PRESIDENT, FAMILIES OF MISSING CHILDREN INTERNATIONAL: Ok. You know. This is the most unusual case I`ve ever been in. It goes in different twists and turns. We tried to focus on -- you know, when I came here and arrived here after a thousand miles, I was going to just merely help the family do anything I could based on experience and I could get in.

I mean, there seemed to -- they were given advice by their attorney and their private eye not to talk to anybody, and that`s in reverse of what should have been done. So little by little, we picked up information and started to come up with our own way of finding things and we --

VELEZ-MITCHELL: What is your theory? Do you have a theory of the case, Gil?

ABEYTA: Well, let me share this with you.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Do you think --

ABEYTA: We have a suspect.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Do you think you knew who did it?

ABEYTA: Yes. We think that. And we have the eyewitness. You know, remember the eyewitness who saw man carrying the baby late at night? That`s very unusual. And there was two witnesses to that. So what we did is we did some investigation, I have prepared a seven-page report to the FBI, and to the police department. They are reviewing it. And we feel somewhat confident that we`re on the right trail.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Ok. I know you can`t name names and I don`t want you to for legal reasons, but is your suspect someone who is known to the family? Is your suspect someone who is known to the family?

ABEYTA: Yes, yes. Yes. Yes, it is.

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Is it someone who lives in the community?

ABEYTA: Yes.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Is it someone who lives in the community?

ABEYTA: Yes. Yes, it is.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I don`t want to play "20 Questions" with you, but we`ve got a big cast of characters here. Let me ask you this, do you think cops are about to make an arrest?

ABEYTA: I think they`re working on it. I think they`re trying to find out and validate the information that we gave them. I don`t think they`re -- I don`t know how close they are, because they don`t report to me, I don`t report to them, we just gave them the information, same with the FBI. But I can say that this is --

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Gil?

ABEYTA: Yes? Go ahead.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: The prosecutor`s office says it could be years before this case is solved. Quote, "There is no case. Nothing has been presented to us. If it gets solved, it will be solved years from now. At this point, nothing has been presented to our office." But you`re saying something completely different.

ABEYTA: I`m saying to you that we have prepared a document naming a suspect near the family that has the experience, had the opportunity to be able to do this. Also, I want to add that that had the training to do this. Remember that -- training to do this. And so --

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Interesting. Pat brown -- I`m sorry, Gil, I don`t want to interrupt you, but, Pat Brown, criminal profiler is shaking her head -- Pat Brown.

PAT BROWN, CRIMINAL PROFILER: Yes, and snickering. Yes, I`ve read this. I see that Gil believes that there actually wasn`t a kidnapper and this child left that house alive. There is absolutely zero proof of that and there are cadaver dogs that say otherwise.

We have another interesting thing. Birds of a feather flock together. We have Jersey, we have this new fellow. Both of them are apparently into drugs. My guess is that house may be a meth house, because we`ve got one phone for everybody, kind of unusual, and the phone call comes from Bradley/Irwin residence, so what`s that connection? I would say there`s a connection drug wise.

And one more thing: remember Deborah Bradley once said she saw the baby at 10:30 and now she`s backed it up to 6:00? Well, my guess is because that phone call was made at 8:30 or whatever it was, and now she`s going to have to say, maybe I made a drug call and somebody came over and they took the baby then. So that`s why I think she backed the time up.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: You know what, this is all speculation. Thank you, Pat, but we do not know. There are no suspects. Cops are saying there are no suspects. And no one has been named, even as a person of interest. Everyone`s invited on.

Someone upthread said this case was giving them a headache and I agree, its definitely giving me one as well. Shane and Dane, and Jersey and Megan and one story after another and nothing adds up and no one is really telling the complete truth least of all Debbie. I dont believe she killed her child on purpose, but I do believe that neglect was involved or she would have reported whatever happened to Lisa. Enough of a neglect charge to cause her to lose everything and enough to cause her to hide the body. I dont buy the kidnapping and I dont buy the witnesses statements at all as far as seeing a man carrying a baby. Whatever happened to Lisa her mother found a way to hide the body. I just hope they can find her soon as winter is on its way.

This whole case seems to me to be becoming the way these families of disappeared kids handle things- create confusion, invent several stories, deny deny deny, refuse to speak w/ police, fast lawyering-up, etc.

Shane/Dane/ meth/ drinking/ cell phones or no cell phones, checked baby vs did not check baby, this case has gone to the dogs.

And I wish they would stop the cadaver dog thing, we were told cadaver dogs can hit on many things and alert to it as if it was a cadaver- even nail clippings, FGS. I believe in cadaver dogs but the people who train them were the ones who listed the 'other' things those dogs hit on.

If Bradley & Irwin were so broke, maybe they owed someone money (drugs).
They may act like 'zombies' which is understandable, but not speaking w/ police is downright suspicious and acting as if that man who came to offer advice
and expertise based on his own experience as someone who had his child stolen and was also accused. Wouldn't you just lap up all the info such a person had if your child was missing? I know I would jump at the chance.

Their deep suspicions of everyone (LE, FBI, media, etc) smells like guilt, to me.

I agree! We need sheriffs all over like the one we had here a few years ago (he was reelected every time and only replaced after he died). We had a case where a young mother was murdered, the husband and his best friend had contradictory stories, each admitting they were at the home but each blaming the other with a ridiculous story about how they came home/to the house with the other one there already but each saying they never saw the victim, they fought each other all night off and on according to each of their stories. The sheriff arrested both, tried separately and they are both in prison for her murder. They hoped their contradictory stories would confuse and get them both off, but the sheriff didn't buy into their story. He was a very intelligent and great no nonsense sheriff, he is missed!

Baby Lisa Case: Tantalizing Mystery of a Cell Phone Call

By Jeff Truesdell

Wednesday November 09, 2011 06:00 PM EST

Is it a phone call that could help crack the case of missing Baby Lisa Irwin?

More than four weeks into the investigation of the 10-month-old who vanished in the pre-dawn hours Oct. 4 from her parents' Kansas City, Mo., home, police aren't saying.

But it's among the more intriguing developments in case: a possible call, placed the night Baby Lisa went missing from one of three cell phones that her parents believe was taken from the house along with their daughter.

The source of this information is a woman named Megan Wright, who says that police have questioned her several times about what they characterized as a 50-second call to her cell phone from the supposedly missing phone.

Wright is perplexed about why she was questioned. She doesn't know Lisa's parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, and has no information about the the baby's disappearance.

"I don't know what was said, or who called, or who answered my phone," Wright tells KCTV5, "but that's what the police have been questioning me about."

All she's been told is that the call was apparently made the night the child disappeared. But the exact timing is uncertain; various news reports quoting sources say police believe the call was made at either 8:30 p.m., 11:57 p.m. or 2:30 a.m.

The child's parents say the baby disappeared between when Lisa's mom put her to bed at 6:40 p.m. and her dad returned around 4 a.m. from a late work shift to find the child – and the cell phones – gone.

Adding to the mystery: In the weeks before Baby Lisa disappeared, Wright says she ended a relationship with a transient neighborhood handyman, "Jersey" John Tanko, who has been questioned about the case.

Is there a link?

Tanko has cooperated, says the Kansas City spokesman Steve Young, and "we're satisfied at the moment and we're moving on. That's not to say something may change later where we would like to speak to [him] again. That's why I'm staying away from the word 'cleared.' Really, truly, the investigation is wide open. We aren't ruling anything out yet."

Also left unanswered: How could such a call have been placed?

According to Lisa's parents, that call would have been impossible because their cell phone service was disrupted – meaning no outgoing calls – after the couple fell behind in their phone bill.

After speaking together and separately with police in the early days of the investigation, Bradley and Irwin have not consented to any further interrogations since Oct. 8, after they said they were accused by detectives.

They also have not agreed to let their other children, boys ages 5 and 8, to meet a second time with a child services worker to talk about that night.

Friday will mark Lisa's first birthday. The hotline for tips is 816-474-TIPS (816-474-8477).

Mystery?

The parents of Baby Lisa say the phone wasn't working because they hadn't paid the bill.
LE has proven otherwise by tracing the calls made from that number.

Why would Deborah Bradley lie and continue to lie about the phone?
If the lie was designed to cover her ass for trying to score drugs wouldn't it be better to come clean with LE, than to let them think she had something to do with her daughter's disappearance?
IMO if she would lie about that... she'd lie about other things too.

As missing Kansas City baby turns 1, little progress seen

KANSAS CITY, Mo | Thu Nov 10, 2011 7:10pm EST
(Reuters) - The two half-brothers of missing baby Lisa Irwin were interviewed on Thursday afternoon for the first time since just after she was reported missing from her home more than a month ago.

The interviews, long sought by police, came on the eve of Lisa's first birthday Friday and at a time when the investigation has shown little visible progress.

The brothers, ages 5 and 8, were home the night Lisa was last seen. Parents Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley had agreed to allow authorities to interview them two weeks ago, but changed their minds.

The interviews on Thursday were conducted by family service specialists, with police and the FBI observing, said Darin Snapp, a Kansas City Police Department spokesman.

The spotlight has faded somewhat from the Irwin case.

Reporters no longer linger constantly outside the Irwin's Kansas City home. A website kept by the family and its supporters, findbabylisa.com, hasn't been updated since October 31. Police are less visible in the neighborhood.

"We still investigate every tip we receive, nothing has changed with that," Snapp said.

Investigators have received 1,205 tips since the baby was reported missing on October 4, clearing 959 of them, Snapp said. If a tip justifies a search, that will happen, he said.

Lisa's parents have not talked with police since days after she was reported missing. Snapp said police are talking with the couple's lawyers about interviews but nothing is set.

The Irwin case is an exception to most child abductions.

About 90 percent of child abductions are resolved within 24 hours, said Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In the past 25 years kidnapped children aged 1 or younger have been recovered safely 266 of 278 times, though sometimes months or years later, Allen said.

"The vast majority of time they are not taken to harm them," Allen said. "So if someone took Lisa, the likelihood is she is out there somewhere. Somebody knows where she is and what happened to her."

Bradley said police accused her of killing Lisa, but she denies knowing what happened to her daughter. She said she last saw Lisa when she put her to bed the evening of October 3. Bradley said she then drank heavily, fell asleep and that Lisa was missing when Jeremy returned from work early the next morning.

Allen said the couple's reluctance to talk with police does not mean they are guilty of anything. Police commonly focus on the parents when a child goes missing and parents react differently to that scrutiny, he said.

Still, the couple's unwillingness to talk with police raised suspicions to Bill Anders, a former deputy sheriff and corrections officer who lives five doors from the Irwin's.

"If it was me, I'd be hounding all the agencies, I'd be on their doorstep day and night," Anders said.

In any case, Anders said he can only imagine how difficult Lisa's first birthday will be on the family.

"As a parent, I'd be devastated," Anders said.

If the publicity has died down - then perhaps Tacopina will disappear as well - hes only in it for the publicity.
If the case goes cold, then the police will still be investigating and probably have a better chance to find out what happened without all the media frenzy

Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO - Page 17 Empty Baby Lisa Would Have Turned One Today

Post by Wrapitup Fri Nov 11, 2011 9:18 pm

Sadly, still missing baby, Lisa Irwin, would have turned one today.

More than a month ago, her parents reported her kidnapped, showing police and media a screen in a window tampered with. From there, things changed:

Statement Analysis of the initial media appearances showed deception on the part of the mother; with little said by the father. This was based, not upon the story of the kidnapping, but upon the actual words chosen by the mother, with special emphasis upon the pronouns.

Later, as the parents gave a full story of the alleged kidnapping, it became evident that the story was implausible as told; we then learned that the mother was polygraphed and failed. This confirmed what readers had concluded earlier.

The parents refused to cooperate with police, even while claiming to, including refusing to allow the police to search their bedroom. A court ordered search produced evidence of human decomposition in the bedroom.

Subsequent appearances by the parents allowed us to see that the father was deceptive, in particular, about what happened when he got home, as it appeared he could not keep his story straight; therefore, he then refused to talk to police unless the mother was present. Jeremy Irwin even ended a police interview stating he was "tired" and needed his rest. This shocked the country as the public wondered how a father could 'tire' while his child was missing.

Deborah Bradley's statements about the cell phones showed deception, reporting them to have been "stolen" by the kidnapper "so we couldn't call 911", telling the audience the 'motive' for the theft.

More than anything else, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, in all of their deception, told us, before the cadaver dog's discovery, that baby Lisa was dead.

Parents of missing children that reference the missing child in the past tense is indicating that they either know or believe the child is deceased. Because of paternal denial, especially maternal protective instincts, the denial precludes past tense references even as months go by. If a mother, for example, speaks of her missing child in the past tense, and police have not informed her that the child is dead, it is an indication that child is dead, and the mother has guilty knowledge of the death.

Mothers of missing children, as well as step mothers, care takers, that spoke in past tense of the missing child include:

Susan Smith,
Misty Croslin
Billie Jean Dunn
Casey Anthony
Deborah Bradley
Jeremy Irwin (father)

When asked why she wouldn't speak to local media, only national media, with the subtle accusation of going where the most money is, Deborah Bradley said, "because we are grieving."

The parents hired a criminal defense attorney who also slipped the word "grieving" while speaking of them.

As the story has changed, so has the attempt to justify the lack of cooperation. America has not embraced Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, with views of him as weak, unmanly, and cuckolded, and Bradley as selfish, neglectful, and mercenary.

The story needs an element of interest in order to have it bring forth money for the lawyer, and if it can't be the 'poor, hurting' parents portrayed as 'victims', my guess is that we will see the story take the turn of a trial, similar to the Casey Anthony trial where it was 24/7 network coverage.

One way or another, the media addicted attorney is going to make money marketing this story. Since the first attempt to portray them as sympathetic characters America would embrace, will we see the second attempt, with leaked information to police leading to recovering the remains, an arrest, and a high profile trial?

Baby Lisa would have turned one today.

Thus far, in her death, her parents have been rewarded handsomely for their lies and impeding the investigation. Just one month ago, they didn't have the money to pay their phone bill, so Deborah said, but now, neither have to get a job to provide for themselves and their two sons, of whom child protective services have left in the home, much to the consternation of people of common sense who care for children.

Having safely delayed the interviewing of the boys for weeks, the defense were not likely worried, as hours of feeding them stories and confusing them may have been 'successful' for the parents, making it unsuccessful for those who wish Lisa to be found.

Missing Baby Lisa Irwin: Police and Parents Spar on Tot's Birthday

By CHRISTINA NG
Nov. 11, 2011

The parents of missing Missouri tot Lisa Irwin marked the girl's first birthday today by holding a news conference in which their lawyer claimed that police have indicated that they are suspects in Lisa's disappearance.

The police denied indicating to the parents that they are suspects, marking the latest round of sparring between the parents and police.

Lisa disappeared from her Missouri home on the night of Oct. 3 and her parents have maintained since then that the little girl was abducted from her crib.

When asked if he thought police consider parents Deborah Bradley, 25, and Jeremy Irwin, 29, suspects, criminal defense attorney John Picerno replied, "Absolutely. They've told them as much, Debbie in particular."

Picerno said he was "not at liberty" to elaborate further on the issue.

The Kansas City Police Department denies the claim that Bradley and Irwin are suspects.

"We don't have any suspects," Police Capt. Steve Young told ABCNews.com today. "We still would like to speak to them again."

Police say Bradley and Irwin have not agreed to sit down separately for extensive police interviews since Oct. 8 and say there are still questions they would like answered from the couple. Authorities say the parents have responded to questions regarding specific tips or issues, but have not agreed to unrestricted questioning.

Picerno said that Lisa's parents have participated in over 30 hours of interviewing and, "At this point, there's nothing more to be said." He said that if the police wish to ask specific questions, both he and Joe Tacopina are open to taking the questions and relaying them to the parents.

Young replied, "I don't think it works that way."

Tacopina said that the infant's first birthday is a somber day for the family, especially Lisa's parents.

"This is a very tough day for them," Tacopina said on "Good Morning America." "This is not a day of celebration right now. Obviously, they're very hopeful. They believe that Lisa is still alive, but they're going to recognize this day and deal with this day very privately. This is not going to be something that they wish to share with anyone."

Dozens of supporters have left birthday messages on Lisa's Facebook page, along with photos of cakes and pink donuts with sprinkles.

The Irwin family has maintained a low profile for the past several weeks, with attorneys saying they would not be speaking with the media for the time being.

But after several weeks of postponement, Bradley and Irwin finally allowed Lisa's two step-brothers to be interviewed by an FBI child specialist on Thursday. The 5 and 8-year-old boys were interviewed for about two hours and the conversations were videotaped.

"[The FBI agent present at the interview] said that it went fine, the boys did fine and there were no new developments," Picerno said.

More than five weeks have passed since Lisa disappeared, and though the case has taken a number of bizarre turns, no suspects have been identified and no major breaks have been made in the case.

Kansas City police and the FBI have conducted dozens of searches. Authorities searched wooded areas, lakes, abandoned houses and spent extensive time at the Irwin home, all to no avail.

Much of the case's drama has played out publicly. There have been numerous clashes between the family and authorities, mostly over issues of cooperation, a musical chair-like rotation of lawyers and spokespersons have occurred and a handful of potential witnesses have not led to any known progress in the search.

Lisa's parents have been at the center of public scrutiny, especially Bradley whose apparent inconsistencies about the time she last saw her daughter and admission that she was drunk the night Lisa disappeared have raised suspicions.

"This family has done nothing but cooperate," Tacopina said. "They didn't have any insight as to what happened to their daughter."

More than 1,000 tips have led to dead end and frustrations.

Bradley and Irwin have maintained from the beginning that their daughter was abducted from her crib in the middle of the night.

An anonymous benefactor is offering a $100,000 reward for baby Lisa's safe return or the conviction of whoever took the little girl.

Parents of Lisa Irwin Refuse to Be Interviewed Again
November 11, 2011 07:55 PM EST

Lisa Irwin, who is a year old today, won't be found with any thanks to their parents. Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin are refusing to be interviewed by police again, further proving that they are not being cooperative with this investigation.

It's mind-numbing how little these parents are doing for the search for the missing 1-year old-daughter. They only just allowed the infant's two half-brothers to be reinterviewed, so what's the big deal? Do they not realize that police need their help if they actually want to find their daughter?

Joe Tacopina and the other lawyer representing the family keep telling the media that they are in fact cooperating with police. However, the proof is in the pudding, and it's obvious that this lawyer is doing more harm than good by flatout lying about the facts in this case. Refusing interviews when you are the last person to have seen a missing child does nothing but draw suspicion on yourself, and some bigshot NYC lawyer should be aware of this.

Lisa Irwin is still missing -- Deborah Bradley won't cooperate

Deborah admitted to getting drunk enough to "black out" the night her daughter vanished. She was in the care of three young children, and she failed them by being irresponsible, at the least. This is getting tiresome and the secrecy shrouding this family is only making it tougher for detectives who are only trying to do their jobs.

Police have released a statement in regards to the media appearances made recently by the lawyer of Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin. The police have absolutely not deemed anyone a suspect in this investigation. Tacopina and co. seem to think telling the media otherwise is helpful. It's not.

Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO - Page 17 Empty Re: Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO

So the cell phone records have been analyzed by the FBI, Wild-Bill Stanton’s “people”, and FOX news. According to John Picerno, the new local attorney for Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, the FBI, in a 3 hour meeting, went over the records and the pings for the phones. Megyn Kelly interviewed both Bill Stanton and John Picerno about this latest development. Let’s see what they had to say…and what they didn’t say.

First let’s get the timeline on the calls we know about now that the records have been released:

* 11:57 pm – outbound call to Megan Wright’s phone number from Deborah’s phone.
* 3:17 am – attempted call to Deborah’s voicemail from Deborah’s phone.
* 3:32 am – attempted call to Deborah’s voicemail from Deborah’s phone.
* times unknown – five attempts at accessing the internet from Deborah’s phone.

Okay, so let’s look at these and then let’s look at what Stanton/Picerno said (and didn’t say) about these. The 11:57 pm call to Megan Wright who states she did not receive (pick up) a phone call or get a voice mail from that number. This issue has been discussed for several days now on the Hinky and Verizon has confirmed that when you are “redlined” (i.e. on restricted service due to nonpayment of bill) if you attempt to make an outgoing phone call it will be re-routed to a service center. This does not mean that the call won’t show up on the phone called, even though you ultimately end up with Verizon’s service center and an automated message reminding you that you haven’t paid your bill and can’t make an outgoing call!

Stanton insinuated that the call at 11:57 pm to Megan Wright did not show up on the records he reviewed. Well, that can’t be correct. In fact, it absolutely can’t be correct. Why? Because KCPD does not have Deborah’s phone, although they wish with all their hearts they did. AND, recalling the series of events that led them multiple times to Megan Wright, they were as follows: 1. They first interviewed Megan because she was the girlfriend of Jersey, and then they returned because 2. they learned that Deborah’s phone had called Megan’s phone. They did not, according to what we have been told in reports, find that Megan’s call had received a call from Deborah, but the opposite. That means, when they got Deborah’s phone records the call to Megan was on the call activity report. So I don’t know what Stanton is trying to pull, but the call had to be reported on the phone records in order to lead KCPD back to Megan the second time.

Stanton tells us that “his people” have scoured the past year of Deborah’s and Jeremy’s phone records and Megan’s number has never been phoned from “that number”. (He doesn’t actually say that it’s never been phoned from either number, but “that” number….i.e. Deborah’s.) That’s fine, but how long had Megan had this particular number? Had she had it for quite some time, or had she recently gotten a new phone number? If the latter, what about her previous number(s)? Do they show up?

Both Stanton and Picerno want to push that the call to Megan indicates a probable involvement by “Jersey, aka John Tanko”. Not necessarily. The statement is made by Picerno that if Deborah had never called Megan before then this wouldn’t be some type of attempted drug deal because she would have already had Megan’s number. No, not if the number was provided to her earlier in the night by the various characters who keep popping up as having been at the Irwin home. That would be Samantha Brando, Shane, and Deborah’s brother. The interesting thing would be to see if any phone calls from any of these people contacted Megan earlier in the evening (say, to see if she’s okay with them giving Deborah her number).

Plus, we have the issue that we still have not confirmed that Deborah’s brother, Philip Netz, actually left and stayed gone that night. The “timeline” got pretty muddied in the past week by a “source close to the family” who pushed their newest detailed timeline of the events of the night of October 3rd and the morning of October 4th out to the public. My question is, why in the world does this anonymous source’s timeline hold any more weight, considering it comes from Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, than the long string of ever-changing timelines they have presented themselves? My answer is, for myself at least…it doesn’t.

According to that “anonymous” timeline Philip Netz left the Irwin house at 5:30 pm. However, according to reports from various news sources, Philip confirmed that Deborah got very drunk that night. If he left at 5:30 pm how can he confirm she got drunk that night? Further to that, even though it has not been substantiated by a second source or law enforcement, KSPR has reported that he was in the house, asleep. They have not, to this day, retracted that statement. Was Philip still in the house at 11:57 pm, and could he have attempted the call to Megan?

Continuing on with the cell phone activity timeline we get to the two calls to Deborah’s voicemail from Deborah’s phone. Please note that we had 3 phones at the house that night, with one not working. The new phone was given to Deborah by her grandfather to replace the one that was not working. She had just gotten it and, according to Deborah, was manually programming numbers from the other phones into the grandpa phone. This phone is not what is being referred to as Deborah’s phone. In fact, since their service was redlined that day, it is unclear whether this borrowed phone was even on their account yet.

This would mean that the phone not working would be Jeremy’s personal cell phone. But Jeremy had a work cell phone (as we learned in a later version of events). According to Picerno Jeremy attempted to call Deborah’s phone earlier in the evening. However, Picerno says, when Jeremy attempted this call it went straight to an automated message stating the phone was out of service. Picerno then implied that this occurred because the phone service was cut off (implying that they couldn’t get an incoming call as well as not being able to make an outgoing call).

This is…disinformation. According to Verizon, when you have restricted service and your phone is powered off the caller will get an automated message that states the number you are calling is unavailable at this time or out of service. I asked if it always said both (i.e. unavailable or out of service) and the customer service representative confirmed YES, it would. Now, as to whether it would then go to voicemail to where the caller could leave a voice message after the automated message has played…that’s a crap shoot. Yes and no. It can go on to the person’s voicemail system after the automated message has played, allowing the person to leave a message. It also can just end after the automated message. It’s kind of a jicky deal.

Now, we need to add in the information Picerno says the FBI shared with them about the cell phone ping locations. According to Picerno Deborah’s phone never got further than 1/5 to 1/3 of a mile from the house…and all the way to the bank of the Missouri River. So we have a phone call out at 11:57 pm, 2 phone calls after 3 am to Deborah’s voicemail, and five attempted accesses of the internet. (Please note that we do not know if these attempts were successful or not.) That’s almost 4 hours of phone activity with the phone no more than 1/3 of a mile from the Irwin home…in the woods…by the river.

Exactly what motivation would a person with a stolen baby have to sit in the woods, or on the bank of a river, and attempt to access Deborah’s voice messages or surf the internet over an almost 4 hour period? I personally can’t think of any motivation, but I’m open to suggestions.

However, if Jeremy phoned Deborah’s cell earlier in the evening, in an attempt to let her know he was not going to be home when he thought, and possibly left a voice message or maybe not, then Deborah would have a very good reason for trying to access her voicemail. Here it is 3:32 in the morning and she has no idea where her fiance is, she shows a missed call from Jeremy, and she’s checking to see if he left a message. Picerno states that all we know is that *86 was used to access the voicemail system, but they don’t know if the password was entered to access Deborah’s actual voicemail account. (Please note that you can completely turn the passcode requirement off and directly access your voicemail with no code.) The answer to that will most likely lie in how long these calls lasted.

One last thing I’d like to point out. While Stanton does state that Megan’s current cell phone number had never been dialed in the past year from “that number” (which would be Deborah’s number), he never actually states the same about Jeremy Irwin’s number. Please remember that Deborah claims she was going through the two phones (hers and Jeremy’s broken one) and manually transferring numbers to the borrowed grandpa phone. Did she come across a number in Jeremy’s broken phone and try it on her phone? Just a thought.

The idea that a child abductor would take three cell phones and a baby, walk out into 40 degree weather into the woods, down by a river less than 1/3 of a mile from the scene of the crime and hang out trying to hack the cell phone owner’s voice mail and surf the internet for almost 4 hours is beyond ludicrous. It’s completely laughable.

But, trying to perform some internet activity on a phone you plan to toss in the river….that’s almost as good as Eleanor’s first rule of pulling off a perfect eraser killing – step 1: destroy the hard drive.

Lawyer: Phone call clears Baby Lisa's parents
Claims someone used cell phone stolen night little girl vanished from her home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A call from a cell phone reportedly stolen the night Kansas City infant Lisa Irwin vanished from her home points to the innocence of the parents in her disappearance, their lawyer said Saturday night.

Investigators are still searching for Irwin, last seen when her mother, Deborah Bradley, said she put her to bed the evening of October 3. Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, said the girl was gone when he came home at 4 a.m. the next day.

The couple said their three cell phones were also missing. One phone was used at 11:57 p.m. October 3 to call the number of a woman the couple does not know, lawyer John Picerno said Saturday on the "Justice with Judge Jeanine" show on Fox News. The FBI told him of the call, Picerno said.

While police questioned Bradley and Irwin intensely about Lisa's disappearance, the couple insists their daughter and the cell phones were stolen. The cell phone call that night is important evidence, Picerno said.

"What it tells you is our clients are telling the truth," Picerno said. The caller never did reach the woman but a record of the call was logged, he said. The woman, identified by Picerno as Megan Wright, has told reporters she did not know Bradley nor Irwin and cannot explain the call.

Friday, on another Fox News show, "America Live with Megyn Kelly", Picerno said the FBI told him someone tried to access the voice mail and internet of the couple's phone at 3:17 and 3:32 a.m. October 4. That effort happened between one-fifth and one-third of a mile from the Irwin home, he said.

Police have not commented on details of the case.

Baby Lisa Irwin Missing: Victim of Meth Conspiracy?
Rumors Circulate Concerning Potential Meth Users Involved in Baby Lisa Irwin Case
By Katherine Weber | Christian Post Contributor

Online rumors are questioning whether missing baby Lisa Irwin was a victim of meth users needing a quick fix.

The questions arose when investigators questioned Megan Wright, who lives a mile away from the Bradley home.

Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, was out on a late call doing electrical work for a local Starbucks when his 10-month-old daughter disappeared during the early morning hours of Oct. 4. When he returned from work roughly around 4 a.m., he reported several lights on, the front door unlocked, three missing cell phones and a tampered screen window.

Irwin and Lisa’s mother, Deborah Bradley, told detectives their daughter was snatched from her Kansas City home. Irwin also reported three cell phones missing from the house.

Records show Wright received a 50-second phone call from one of these cellphones on the night of the disappearance.

“I don't know what was said, or who called, or who answered my phone,” said Wright to KCTV5.

Wright argued she lived with two other families, totaling six adults and three children, so a number of people could have answered her phone.

Online bloggers questioned whether this highly populated residence was a flophouse for meth users.

In rebuttal to the scathing questions, Wright created the Facebook page “Megan Wright, Q&A Baby Lisa,” to address questions concerning her involvement in the case.

“She lived in a flop house, with known meth addicts,” said one Internet user, according to NBC Action News.

“I'm not saying she has a drug problem, I'm asking,” the user added.

“If this is a drug house and all these people are supposedly using drugs, why no arrests?” questioned another Internet user, according to NBC Action News.

Local Kansas City private investigator Ron Rugen interviewed Wright, questioning her about her home, dubbed by Internet bloggers as an alleged “meth house.”

“It wasn't a flop house as it was said to be on Fox,” Wright told Rugen.

“It’s very tough to see the house presented that way, because it’s not the case. The people are wonderful and caring and considerate and as nice as could be. Just because they helped out friends doesn’t make them drug users or anything else that was said in that report,” Wright added.

Wright is suspected to have been in a relationship with a transient named “Jersey,” who routinely did repair work on the Irwin’s street.

A neighbor to the Irwin family, Mary Hurt, told CNN’s Nancy Grace she thought Jersey was “shady.”

Many speculate Jersey had close ties with one of the men likely to have Wright’s cellphone the night of the child’s disappearance.

“I do believe that he had my phone all night. But other than that, I'm not sure. Just because he had my phone doesn't make him guilty of anything,” Wright wrote on Facebook regarding the man who may have had her cellphone the night Lisa disappeared.

On Nov. 2, Wright spoke with Jane Velez-Mitchell, a talk show host on HLN, concerning her relationship with “Jersey.”

Wright said she “found out that he was getting into some drug activity,” and she thought he was into “meth.”

She added Jersey would disappear for hours without explanation: “Towards the last couple of days I was actually fearful being around him.”

Investigators reported that Jersey is cooperating with their questioning. He is currently in prison on an unrelated burglary charge.

“We're satisfied at the moment and we're moving on. That's not to say something may change later where we would like to speak to [him] again. That's why I'm staying away from the word 'cleared.' Really, truly, the investigation is wide open. We aren't ruling anything out yet,” said Kansas City spokesperson Steve Young to People Magazine regarding Jersey.

Baby Lisa’s case entered its one-month anniversary on Nov. 4. Police said they plan to pursue new leads in the mystery as Lisa’s first birthday approaches on Friday.

Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO - Page 17 Empty Re: Lisa Irwin, still missing in Kansas City, MO

Post by artgal16 Mon Nov 14, 2011 9:15 am

In the past couple of weeks we watched Joe Tacopina, Bill Stanton, formerly Cyndy Short and now John Picerno try to push a “some other dude did it” scenario…which varies in flavor according to what information they want to spin. The latest information, that has come out courtesy of Megyn Kelly and statements made by Bill Stanton and John Picerno, concerning cell phone pings and activity shot a hole in the foot of some of these SODDI scenarios. Let’s see how. (SODDI - Some other dude did it)

The wandering man with baby scenario

This started when one or two people claimed they saw a man walking with a baby in the 40 degree weather in the early morning hours of October 4th. As time went on more people came forward claiming they saw a man carrying an almost naked baby at other locations. The sightings spanned about a 4 hour period…which in and of itself makes the whole “abductor walking the streets with baby scenario” kind of hard to believe.

Now I’m not saying that someone (and maybe more than one person) didn’t see a man carrying a baby at some point in the early morning hours of October 4th, but I am saying that if the scenario being pushed is that the man seen at multiple locations, allegedly carrying an unclothed baby is supposed to be the abductor of Lisa Irwin, then apparently Lisa Irwin was abducted by an individual who has some kind of zombie-like mental issue who is willing to just meander for 4 hours down various streets and doesn’t care who sees him while he’s doing it. In short, it really would have to be an extremely mentally deranged person to do this.

But, now that we have learned that there was activity on Deborah’s phone for an almost 4 hour period, and that the pings associated with that activity were never more than 1/3 of a mile from the Irwin house, placing the phone only as far as a wooded area and down toward the river, the “wandering SODDI” scenario becomes even harder to accept.

Why? Because this requires TWO abductors, both acting pretty damned freaky. So you have two abductors involved and one takes the baby and starts his 4 hour zombie walk. During the same time period he is trolling the streets of Kansas City with the baby, the second person is sitting in the woods behind the scene of the crime inexplicably trying to access Deborah’s voicemail (really? why? ) and surf the net. That person sits in the cold dark woods for almost 4 hours all the way up to within 13 minutes of when Jeremy says he arrived home! And….for what purpose?

As far as I’m concerned the wandering SODDI scenario is dead…dead dead dead. It makes absolutely no sense, it’s contrived beyond description, and it’s grasping for straws.

The Jersey did it scenario

The next scenario that the “defense team” (let’s just go ahead and call them that because that is exactly what they are acting like) wants to push and push hard is that because of a 11:57 pm call from Deborah’s phone to Megan Wright’s phone, Jersey (aka John Tanko), took the baby. Jersey is a prime candidate for being Kronked on this deal. He’s a drunk, a thief and a weirdo. And most likely (almost without a doubt) a drug user. He likes to play with fire and steal electronics (like cell phones). The stars are aligned against Jersey.

The question becomes, however, why would Tanko sit around in the woods with a baby and mess with a cell phone for almost 4 hours? And if he was doing that, then when did he set the dumpster fire that the defense team would like to connect to his pyromaniac tendencies? The dumpster fire was at about 2:30 am, so that would require that Tanko took the baby, went into the woods behind the house, tried to call Megan (for whatever reason! ), left the area and walked to the location of the dumpster, burned whatever was burned (apparently some of it was clothing), and then return to the woods behind the house and try to access Deborah’s voicemail and surf the net.

I’d like to point out that we still don’t know the exact times of the five attempts to access the net. The exact times for those could make the whole Tanko did it, dumpster trip, etc. even more problematic. I mean, if the cell phone was trying to access the internet close to the Irwin home at about 2:30…it’s awful hard to be setting a dumpster fire in a different location!

The dude sitting in the woods scenario

Which is the latest. We don’t have to throw Tanko in (although the defense wants to because of the 11:57 pm call to Megan’s phone). Let’s keep it simple and just say “some dude in the woods”. So from 11:57 to the last phone activity at 3:32 am the phones are near the home. Picerno says toward the wooded area behind the Irwin home and as far as the bank of the Missouri River.

Some dude, for unknown reasons, entered the Irwin home and took Lisa and three cell phones. He then decided to hang close to the scene of the crime he has just committed until right at or right before Jeremy arrived home. And then he disappeared….with Lisa.

Why?

That would probably be enough of a question right there that we wouldn’t even have to look at any of the other things that don’t make sense in this scenario. But, we do have other things. Irrespective of who this person is supposed to be (Tanko or some new unidentified SOD)…why would they be trying to access Deborah’s voicemail? What’s the purpose in that? And why would they be trying to surf the net? And why, with three phones, two of which had restricted service for sure, why is there only activity on one phone? That’s what Picerno is saying because he doesn’t even mention any activity on Jeremy’s phone.

We can say – well they didn’t mention it but it might have happened. I don’t think it did considering that Megyn Kelly stated that FOX had been supplied the records. If there was activity on Jeremy’s phone that night I do believe Megyn would have busted that out in a heartbeat. In fact, I’m confident.

If you’re trying to make a call (and why would you??? ) and the phone you’re using won’t call out, why in Sam Hill would you not try the other two phones you have with you? IN FOUR HOURS, no less. Just from boredom alone you’d fiddle with the other two wouldn’t you?

The defense wants us to believe there is a live baby Lisa out there who needs to be found. What the hell do you do to keep a live baby entertained for 4 hours in the woods? How the heck does a baby not start crying at some point in this picture? Are you singing lullabies and playing patty cake? Are we to believe a stranger walked out of that house with Lisa, went into the woods, set down for 4 hours and Lisa just slept contently in their arms? (while they fiddled with Deborah’s phone) Serious?

And then all of a sudden you’re gone right when Jeremy gets home? And no more phone activity. Just POOF by the light of the silvery moon you’re gone….with the baby.

And please remember that Deborah’s excuse for why the dog didn’t bark is that he was in the backyard. So you have to throw in that this person (and Lisa) hung out for almost 4 hours right next to the backyard and the dog, in fact, no dog in the immediate area, barked.

As far as I’m concerned the phone activity that has been revealed, and the location where that activity took place, makes a SODDI scenario of any flavor make no sense whatsoever. Not unless Deborah and Jeremy would like to now tell us they had the mafia on their butts and found a horse head in their bed one morning.
