Amber Alert Issued for Son of Denver City Murder Suspect

DENVER CITY - The Denver City Police Department has issued an amber alert for the son of a murder suspect in Denver City.

Police are searching for 3-year-old Mitchell Romero. He is 2'8", has black hair, brown eyes, and weighs 35 pounds.

The suspect, 33-year-old Mario Romero, who is wanted in connection with a murder, was last seen driving a maroon 2004 GMC Yukon with Texas License plate 43WFX6.


Mario Romero is accused of killing 29-year-old Veronica Esquivel Romero inside a home on East 10th Street on Friday.


Law enforcement officials believe the 3-year-old is in grave or immeadiate danger.
