ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff's Office has fired the deputy who responded to an Orlando meter reader's repeated phone calls to check out woods where a missing Florida toddler's body eventually was found.

Deputy Richard Cain was notified of his termination Friday. An internal investigation found his response to meter reader Roy Kronk's phone calls in August to be negligent. Kronk eventually went back to the woods and found Caylee Anthony's remains in December.

Cain told investigators he found trash bags filled with leaves and sticks at the site in August. When asked why he didn't have Kronk lead him through the site, Cain acknowledged that would have been reasonable.

How about Mark Furhman..or according to FAUX news, he is NOT a bad cop. Hmm.

Mark Furhman lost his "cop job" for telling the truth. He was not cut out to be a cop but he is a great reporter.

I think Furhman is the opposite of Cain. Furhman wanted justice and took his job seriously, like all good cops he was dismayed when justice was derailed in the courts after the police did their best to get the criminals off the streets. Cain was just a lazy cop who didn't really care, it was just a job to him and he was just interested in a paycheck. JMO
