A Palm Bay man will spend the next 999 years, 99 months and 98 days prison for raping children, according to a press release Friday.
A jury in St. Lucie County convicted Timothy Anderson, 51, last week for sexual battery on a child under 12.
Anderson was arrested two years ago in Palm Bay on 100 counts of sexual battery on a child.
Detectives learned that a girl was being sexually abused by Anderson from the time she was 6 years old while in his care and custody.
The victim who was 14 at the time of the initial investigation told detectives Anderson raped her on a near daily basis between 1988 and 1991.
Another investigation revealed there were at least three other victims during the last 20 years.
"Fortunately there was finally some justice for the victims in this case," said Detective Jasmine Campbell who investigated the Palm Bay incidents. "The lives of these two women and this young girl have been severely impacted by his sexual abuse and he will now pay for it for the rest of his life. At least he won't be able to victimize another child again."

PORT ST. LUCIE — A 49-year-old Ocala man has been charged with sexual battery on a child under 12, according to a Port St. Lucie Police Department report.
Police on Thursday charged Timothy Raymond Anderson, while he was in St. Lucie County Jail on other unrelated charges, for alleged sexual abuse that took place between 1992 and 1995, the report states.
The victim, who is now an adult, told police Anderson molested her several times starting when she was 7 years old and living in Palm Bay and continued when the family moved to Port St. Lucie, the report states.
Police reopened the investigation after a Palm Bay Police detective called them because they were investigating a sexual battery case that involved a mutual victim, the report states.
