Art Harris Interview w/Mother Croslin & Misty allegedly tells the real truth/ UPDATE March 2011

Within hours of Ronald Cummings sentencing Friday, The Bald Truth has learned Misty Croslin began to crack under relentless police questioning—and changed her story again.

Family members and sources close to the case tell me Croslin now claims she lied about her allegation that cousin Joe Overstreet snatched Haleigh to cover up yet another horror even closer to home. During her four hour interrogation Friday, The Bald Truth learned exclusively that Misty Croslin now claims it was her own brother, Tommy Croslin, who came to the trailer that night, took Haleigh and fabricated the cousin Joe-machine gun story.

Then, my sources say, she told police Tommy pressured her to go along with it.

Her attorney, Robert Fields, confirmed she met with investigators, but declined to comment further.

“She told me she kept telling the police if they wanted to know what really happened, they had to get Tommy to talk, that he can tell them everything,” her mother, Lisa Croslin, told The Bald Truth after speaking with Misty.

Exactly. And I believe her sentencing is coming up next week.

If you read the other article I posted, Tommy Croslin tried to get his sentence reduced. It didn't happen. If he is really the one who murdered HaLeigh, what would be his motive??? And I would think PCSO would have charged him for murder by now.

I say, let's get Misty sentenced and IMHO, all that were somehow involved in her disappearance are in the slammer - even if it's not for her murder.

I've always believed that little Haleigh overdosed on her Dad's/Misty's drugs and it makes perfect sense that Ron would tell Misty to 'get rid of the body' & Tommy would be the one to do it. I've never believed Cousin Joe was involved and I think Tommy dumped that poor child in the river - now the question of 'was Haleigh alive or dead prior to being dumped in the river' I don't know what I think but I pray she was.

Then there's the reported 'dozens of texts/calls' from Ron to Misty that night, then Ron supposedly called Tommy to go over & 'check' because Misty wouldn't/couldn't answer the phone. Ron I think, thought he created the perfect alibi, he was at work & he knew it could be proven, but it sounds like he orchestrated the whole damn thing from work, thinking he was smarter than LE and who knows, maybe he was, for a while.

Raine, you have hit the nail on the head. And, there is just no way that Misty will ever rat out Ron. Even though she has not laid eyes on him since January. It doesn't matter, she loves him (blah!!!!) and is scared sh*tless of him all at the same time. That is NOT love, but :whatever:

She would rather spend her time in prison with some fantasy that when she gets out he will be there waiting for her and they can take up where they left off.

I pray I am still alive if/when she is released from prision. And, I think she is going to get more than 15 years. Probably more like 30. MOO!!!

As long as they keep blaming each other and there is no evidence I doubt this will ever be solved. If they really want to solve this, they need to offer Misty a plea
that she would get a youth offender sentence for her drug charges if she tells the complete and whole truth that the police believe. Otherwise, they need to throw the book at her. Because she knows what actually happened.

I go back and forth on this. Either this took place Before Ron went to work in which case yes..she knows what happened.

Or, she got wasted and Tommy or whoever took Haleigh and dumped her in the St. John's river (already dead, I hope ) and she really is not sure what happened as she was f'd up and in a black out.

I too go back and forth, for so long I've believed Haleigh OD'ed but since Misty had been on a three day binge I thought she blacked out too. But, even if she did it's possible that her and Tommy talked about it later and the knowledge she has came from him telling her what she did. Was it ever established that Ron actually spoke with Misty while he was at work? If so, he could have told her then to 'get rid of Haleigh (I hate even typing this!) - either way, he was either an accessory after the fact or before.
I agree w/ you Artgal, it sure doesn't look like it's getting anywhere this way and maybe if they offered her some kind of deal she'd bite, that is if she remembers anything.....
If no one talks at all, I wish they'd send them all up the river.

I would bet that they may have offered her a deal and she came up with the Joe/Tommy lie. If that is the case..all that did was make it worse for her.

Now, The Bald Truth has learned exclusively that it was Tommy Croslin who ordered sister Misty to concoct one of the many stories she’s told about what happened the night Haleigh Cummings disappeared. Sources familiar with the investigation tell me, in a brilliant move, police captured that conversation on tape as the siblings were allowed to ride together in a patrol car enroute to the St. John’s County Jail, where they were housed before drug trafficking convictions earned them a total of 40 years in the big house (25 for Misty, 15 for Tommy).

I wondered why LE allowed Misty and Tommy to ride together in the back of the police car. The officer(s) must have gotten out for a few minutes..maybe to go inside Dunkin DoNuts. Who knows? Little did Tommy and Misty know they were being recorded.

IMO, if Tommy is telling Misty what to say, both are involved. And, I would bet Timmy is the one who dumped her body into the St. John's river with a brick attached to a bunjie cord. I just pray she was already knocked out or dead when he did this to her.

This case will forever haunt me. If I could pick just one case to be solved, this would be it.

The date on that video is wrong. I don't have the correct date, but I know it wasn't Apr. 1, 2011.

Nancy Grace: America's Missing highlighted Chioma Gray, and there was no mention of the Croslin/Cummings issue on that show either.

Lilone, the date is March 1, 2011 and it does say so at the top of the video. I even clicked on the you tube link and same thing, March 1.

It doesnt really matter about what Harris writes or someone else does - unless there is a confession we will never know the truth. If this group of losers is willing to stay in jail for these huge sentences and not talk - they will never talk.
