ORLANDO --
Judge Belvin Perry has unsealed psychological evaluations of Casey Anthony.

The never-before-seen depositions were taken on April 7, 2011 and April 13, 2011 by Dr. Jeffery Danziger and Dr. William Weitz.

In Dr. Danziger's report, he detailed working with attorneys on the case to see if there were any psychiatric or mental health issues that would be helpful to the case. Dr. Danziger said he did not find any evidence of an active mental illness. He continued saying in his opinion, she was competent to proceed and that the psychological test he did was entirely normal, which he said somewhat surprised him.

Dr. Danziger described the results of the test, taken Oct. 2010 as "entirely normal -- certainly no signs of exaggerations or amplification." When asked if the results were elevated, even in the normal scale, Danziger said no.

One of the results Danziger reported was the test revealed she is "a bit of a tomboy." He described it as her having interests that are typically male.

"She might be -- for example, she might be interested more in cars than fabrics. But other than that, nothing was elevated. It was an entirely normal profile," Danziger said.

In another meeting with Casey and her attorneys Nov. 5, 2010, Danziger described Casey as being "pleasant, friendly, cooperative, happy."

Danziger also described going through Casey's personal photos.

"They all seem to be mother and child photos, all of them showing -- if there is a common theme, and obviously, you can look at it for yourself, they are, essentially, a happy mother and child doing fun things," Danziger said.

In a meeting with Casey at the Orange County Jail in July 26, 2008, after Caylee was still missing, Danziger described Casey as acting normal -- which in his opinion would not be the same way he would act if his child was missing.

His notes read:

Mood, good. Reading books, keeping self distracted. Calm, bright affect. No feelings of guilt, not hopeless. Sleeping fine. Appetite okay. Weight stable. Energy okay. Concentration normal. Able to read. And I wrote in there suprisingly cheerful but not manic.

[Question: What's -- explain that to me, what that meant or what your observation was.]

Simply this is someone who is sitting in jail. Her child is missing, presumed dead. She's -- while she had not yet been charged with murder, obviously, she's charged with crimes and is being accused by the whole world in the disappearance of the child. You would expect that would provoke some measure of distress, whether someone genuinely did it, whether someone was falsely accused, I mean, it doesn't matter. If my child was missing and I was in jail and being accused of it, I probably wouldn't eat or wouldn't be cheerful and wouldn't been able to read.

When Danziger asked Casey why she's feeling so well in jail, she responded "My gut feeling is she is okay. You have an interpersonal connection. I can sense. I feel that she's close. My only focus is to have her home with our family. I know in my heart and my gut things are still okay."

Danziger described Casey's demeanor as "calm, cooperative and pleasant as if we were discussing someone who had a parking ticket. She was pleasant and friendly and cooperative and had as normal a mental status examination as could be." He said he has never seen anyone in the Orange County Jail, under that circumstance, appear to be normal.

Details of sexual abuse, pregnancy
During a meeting with Danziger in Nov. 12 2010, Casey accused of her brother and father of sexual abuse. According to Danziger's notes, Casey said her brother, Lee Anthony began sporadically molesting her in the middle of the night between the ages of 12 and 15. After the last incident, Casey said she didn't talk to Lee for three to four years after. She said they became friendly as she went into her 30s. What??????

Casey said the sexual abuse with her father, George, began when she was eight. She said it stopped when she was 11. Casey said when she told her mother about the incidents with Lee, Cindy, she told her she was a "whore." Casey said she never told her mother about George.

Danziger also noted Casey's pregnancy.

Got pregnant, had the baby. Took two beers, possibly given another drug. Woke up passed out unclothed bottom. Don't remember anything at a party. Age 18. This is how she became pregnant. [Did she tell you who the father was?] No. She said she didn't know.

Details on Casey's check fraud incident
Danziger talked to Casey about her criminal case involving check fraud. He noted that she admitted she made a mistake.

Yes. I made mistakes about money and bad checks. I was afraid to ask for financial help. The opportunity presented itself a few hundred dollars. It wasn't right. It was wrong. I should have been a better friend. The intended was a friend. I intended to pay her back. It was less than 600 dollars, but it was checks I did not have permission to use. I'm on probation for that which will run out, and then she said at that point, January 23rd or 24th, it will be served with probation.

Details on Zenaida Gonzalez
Danziger said he talked with Casey about Zenaida Gonzalez, who Casey said babysat Caylee. Casey said she watched Caylee "a few times, been to the park with her nieces and nephews, known her since 2004" and wondered if Gonzalez was in the country illegally.

Danziger said Casey's demeanor remained about the same in 2010 compared to 2008 -- friendly, cooperative and pleasant.

The only time Danziger noted Casey becoming angry was when she talked about her family. Casey said her parents seperated Jan. 2006 through June 2006. She said Cindy saw an email with messages from women on a dating website. Casey said Cindy blamed her for setting up him up on the dating site. She continued saying she was blamed when anything went missing in the house. She said she was blamed for everything that happened, that she was the scapegoat.

"Years of anger, frustration, hurt and pain. Finally openly speaking about it, but it's painful and distressing," Casey said.

Danziger described Casey's mouth as pursed, jaw clinched and eyes narrowed.

Casey said she would lock Caylee's door to her room because she feared George would touch her. She said she would keep Caylee on a routine. They would wake up at the same time, eat together, she said she would go outside and watch Caylee. She said Cindy would watch Caylee when she couldn't find a babysitter and George only watched her when she was in diapers.

The day Caylee went missing
Casey told Danziger about the events on the day Caylee went missing.

"After 9:00 a.m., father woke me up. He's shaking me. She said she usually a light sleeper, and she was wondering why she was up so late and why she had to be shook to be woken up. The day before was Father's Day. We were home the night before. He's screaming at me where's Caylee. She didn't recall Caylee leaving the bedroom with her. I looked all over the house, the garage, the yard. Last possible place an aboveground pool. I didn't see her in the pool. Then father had Caylee in his arms soaking wet. She then said that there's an aboveground pool. As far as she knows, there is a heavy ladder that wasn't attached but the ladder was attached at that moment."

Danziger notes continued with what she said what happened when she said Caylee was found.

"I took her from him and collapsed on the porch. He was yelling at me your fault, couldn't believe you did this."

Newly released court documents detailing Casey Anthony's jailhouse conversations with two psychiatrists reveal Anthony's unusually calm demeanor as she spoke about her daughter's death and her accusation that she was molested by her father and brother.

In one deposition, psychiatrist Dr. Jeffery Danziger recounted his "puzzlement" with Anthony's "nice, sweet and pleasant demeanor" as she sat behind bars as the prime suspect in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. Anthony, 25, was acquitted last summer.

"Her demeanor, the best way to say it, is she was calm, cooperative and pleasant as if we were discussing someone who had a parking ticket," Danziger said in an April 7, 2011 deposition.

He notes that she was in a good mood, reading books, sleeping fine and had a good appetite.

"No feeling of guilt, not hopeless," he said.

"This is someone who is sitting in jail. Her child is missing, presumed dead," Danziger said. "While she had not yet been charged with murder, obviously, she's charged with crimes and is being accused by the whole world in the disappearance of the child. You would expect that that would provoke some measure of distress."

Danziger was taken aback by her reactions and imagined himself in her position.

"If my child was missing and I was in jail and being accused of it, I probably wouldn't eat or wouldn't be cheerful and wouldn't be able to read," Danziger concluded.

The second psychiatrist who interviewed Anthony, Dr. William Weitz, also noticed her lack of emotion over Caylee disappearance.

He noted Anthony's "complete separation of emotion and affect from the various questions that she's asked to respond to."

"She seems detached from a lot of her feeling and emotion, even in times that one might expect they'd be more reactive and intense," Weitz said.

Weitz said that her reactions could be construed as defense mechanisms, possibly related to her accusations of years of sexual abuse from her father George Anthony and her brother Lee Anthony.

In her interviews with the doctors she detailed accusations of sex abuse that were mentioned during her murder trial.

She said her father molested her from age 8 to 11 which Danziger recorded as "disgusting, demeaning, intercourse, oral, everything."

Although the father stopped when she was 11 or 12, she claimed her brother Lee molested her from age 12 to 15. "Sometimes wake up to him or wake up bro over my head or unclasped. Wake up once his hands on my chest," the doctor read from his notes from the interview with Anthony.

She claimed that her father assaulted her again when she was 18. "Tried to fight back when I was older. I'm not a big person," the doctor quoted her as saying.

Referring to her calm during the jailhouse interviews, Weitz said in his deposition, "Clearly, Miss Anthony has adopted survivor behavior as she advanced into adulthood, and she exhibits extreme sensitivity in areas related to her family interactions, most specifically with father and brother."

Weitz said that Anthony's behavior could be the same in both the scenario that she killed Caylee and in the scenario that she did not harm her daughter.

The evaluations with Dr. Jeffrey Danziger, a psychiatrist, and Dr. William Weitz, a psychologist, revealed Anthony’s most recent account of her being sexually abused as a child and her most recent description of what she says happened to her daughter, Caylee, whose body was found in December 2008.

In the deposition, Anthony told Danziger she was repeatedly sexually molested by her father, George Anthony. But in his mental evaluation of Anthony six months before her trial, Danziger said that she exhibited no other signs typical of someone who had been sexually abused as a child. Danziger said Anthony had performed well in school, had no eating disorders. The psychiatrist seemed skeptical of Anthony being abused and ruled Anthony had no mental health issues, according to the deposition.

The depositions also shed light on what Anthony said happened the day Caylee disappeared. According to the deposition, Anthony told Danziger she was awoken in June 2008 by her father, who entered her bedroom and shook her, saying Caylee was missing.

Although Anthony said she never saw Caylee's body in the family swimming pool, she believes Caylee drowned because she saw her father holding Caylee’s body, according to the deposition.

Anthony told doctors that her father said, "I'll take care of it," then took Caylee’s body away. She told doctors that she never saw Caylee again, according to the deposition. Anthony also told the doctor she does not think it was an accident. She also said she thinks her father had molested Caylee.

"I think he held her underwater, maybe was doing something to her and tried to cover it up" she told Danziger, referring to George.

In the interviews, Anthony offered no proof of the allegations. In the depositions, Danziger seemed very apprehensive talking to prosecutors and sharing information that Casey Anthony disclosed because he felt uncomfortable accusing someone else of a crime.

Anthony also talked to doctors about Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman she said was her nanny and accused of abducting Caylee. In the depositions, her response combatted what her defense team told the jury in her murder trial. During the trial, Anthony’s team said she made up the story about Gonzalez, but sixth months earlier, Anthony told psychiatrists that she used Gonzalez as a nanny, but Gonzalez just didn’t kidnap Caylee.

Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation. The civil suit is scheduled to be in court in April.

Psychiatrist: Casey Anthony was 'surprisingly cheerful' in jail
By msnbc.com staff and news services

Two depositions from psychiatrists who evaluated Casey Anthony before she went on trial for murder were unsealed Wednesday, revealing more details about sexual abuse that Anthony's lawyer alleged she endured as a child and her claim that her young daughter accidentally drowned.

Anthony's defense attorney shocked the courtroom when he told jurors in his opening statement that 2-year-old Caylee, who had been missing for more than a month before her disappearance was reported to police, had drowned in the family's swimming pool in 2008. Lawyer Jose Baez also claimed Casey Anthony was sexually abused by her father, George Anthony, growing up.

George Anthony denied the allegations, which were not substantiated at trial. But in their depositions, Drs. Jeffrey Danziger and William Weitz discussed shared Casey's feelings toward her father as well as the most recent version of her story of what happened to her daughter.

The Orlando Sun-Sentinel, which requested the depositions be unsealed, reported Wednesday that Weitz said Anthony felt George "was a threat to her daughter, based on what had happened to her and that would make her uncomfortable." She felt "very comfortable" leaving Caylee with her mother, she said.

Weitz said during his deposition that Anthony told him her father had sexually abused her when she was a child, "basically, the age range, from eight to 12," reported the Sun-Sentinel.

"She described physical touching. She described physical touching and involvement all the way to sexual intercourse," Weitz said.

Both Weitz and Danziger commented on what they perceived as Anthony's lack of sadness or anger when they met with her, said the Sun-Sentinel. While describing the alleged abuse, Weitz said, Anthony was "presenting it to me in a very cognitive, intellective manner stripped of almost any affect or emotion."

In Danziger's report, he described a meeting with Anthony at the Orange County Jail in July of 2008, when Caylee was still missing: "Mood, good. Reading books, keeping self distracted. Calm, bright affect. No feelings of guilt, not hopeless. Sleeping fine. Appetite okay. Weight stable. Energy okay. Concentration normal. Able to read. And I wrote in there surprisingly cheerful but not manic."
Danziger said she had "as normal a mental status examination as could be," reported Florida's CFNews13.com.

Casey told Danziger that her brother, Lee, also molested her numerous times when she was between the ages of 12 and 15, he said, according to CFNews13.com.

In the April 2011 deposition, Danziger told prosecutors he was "deeply troubled" by the allegations because they had not been substantiated, according to The Sun-Sentinel.
"I am very troubled about being a vector by which statements she made may accuse others of crimes past and present. I don't know what to do," Danziger said. "I am just deeply worried that I'm doing the wrong thing."
"I have lost much sleep, lost weight, and I don't know – I want to do the right thing, and I don't know what the right thing to do is except I know we're here in the deposition and my understanding is you're entitled to it, but I feel troubled," Danziger said.

Neither Danziger nor Weitz testified at Anthony's trial, although both were originally listed as defense witnesses before it started in May, said The Sun-Sentinel. The defense later withdrew them as witnesses.

As for Caylee's death, Weitz said, "It is the perception of Casey that her father had something to do with the death of her daughter. It's clear that she believes that George either harmed and/or took the life of [Caylee]."

Caylee's alleged drowning
According to The Sun-Sentinel, Weitz said Casey Anthony told him about the alleged drowning.

"[Anthony] always slept with Caylee and she was highly protective and sensitive to her," Weitz told prosecutors during his deposition, also taken in April. But on "the particular date in question…she was sleeping very hard, she awoke, the father was in the room and Caylee was missing."

"They went to search for her and look around to no avail, and then father brought Caylee to her and she was wet – in his arms. She was wet, and she appeared to be deceased. He then took her, you know, basically, and he took Caylee out of the room from her, and she said she basically lost it at that point in time."

George Anthony then told Casey, "I'll take care of her," and left with Caylee, Weitz said Casey told him.
Even as Casey Anthony described the alleged drowning death of her daughter, she seemed "detached from a lot of her feeling and emotions," he said, adding that she "uses lies as a protective measure. She admits to not always being truthful; that for her, it's a protection."

A jury found Anthony not guilty in the death of Caylee. She was released from jail on July 17; she is currently serving a year of probation in an unrelated check fraud case.

Casey Anthony's psychological evaluations reveal details on pregnancy Empty Re: Casey Anthony's psychological evaluations reveal details on pregnancy

Chief Judge Belvin Perry unsealed the state's depositions, involving the story Casey Anthony gave to two doctors for the defense about how her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony died.

In the documents, Casey told doctors that Caylee was conceived while she was passed out at a party.

Casey also said her father, George Anthony, was molesting Caylee in a pool as was killing her.

The depositions reveal Casey's version of what happened to Caylee.

According to the report, Casey also told the doctors that Caylee could not have died accidentally.

However, at the murder trial, the defense told the jury the opposite.

The depositions also detail what Casey called sexual abuse by her brother Lee Anthony and by George.

One of the psychiatrists said he became physically ill over being used to further what he called Casey's "far-fetched" claims that her father and brother had raped her, and that her father had killed Caylee.

Maitland psychiatrist Dr. Jeffrey Danziger told prosecutors before the trial that Casey told stories that may not be true. Danziger quoted her as saying, "I think he held her underwater, maybe he was doing something to her and he tried to cover it up."

Danziger told prosecutor Jeff Ashton he was sick over being the "vector" for Casey's story, saying, "I am deeply, deeply troubled. And I have lost much sleep, lost weight, and I don't know, I want to do the right thing."

The documents said that Casey told Danziger Caylee could not have drowned accidentally because she could swim.

The defense, however, told the jury a different story. The defense said Caylee's death was an accident, and that George blamed Casey and covered it up.

"The defense has latitude in what they choose to believe is the truth, but the state does not have that latitude, it is bound by the evidence," said WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer.

Sheaffer, who is a defense attorney and former prosecutor, said he's never seen anyone more determined or successful as Casey in getting people to believe her lies.

Sheaffer said Casey's new videos are further proof.

"I hate being on camera, but I don't know. I need to conquer that fear at some point," Casey said in her video diary.

"We have a different stage. We have the same actress," Sheaffer said.

In the depositions, Casey gave the two doctors two different stories about Caylee's father.

One story was that a mystery man drugged and raped Casey at a party, and the other story was she thought her father could have been Caylee's father, until the FBI's DNA test ruled that out.

The depositions were never used at Casey's murder trial.

Casey is serving a year of probation at an undisclosed location in Florida on a check fraud charge. The 25-year-old was acquitted last July of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in a trial that captured the nation's attention.

Court docs: Casey claimed Caylee born after rape
By Stephen Loiaconi
updated 9:09 PM EST, Wed January 11, 2012

Depositions of doctors who evaluated Casey Anthony before murder trial released

Psychologist: Anthony claimed pregnancy was result of date rape

Psychologist says Anthony explained meaning of "Bella Vita" tattoo

Remember the bombshell allegations Jose Baez dropped in his opening statement at Casey Anthony’s trial? In a moment that stunned the courtroom, he claimed that her daughter Caylee drowned in the family pool and that Casey was sexually abused by her father, George Anthony, as a child.

No evidence was presented at the trial to support his claims and George Anthony directly denied them on the witness stand, but newly unsealed court documents may shed some light on where the allegations first surfaced.

On Tuesday, Judge Belvin Perry unsealed transcripts of two depositions conducted with doctors prior to Anthony’s 2011 trial for daughter Caylee’s murder. Psychiatrist Dr. Jeffrey Danziger and psychologist Dr. William Weitz had been asked by Anthony’s defense team to evaluate her, but they were later removed from the witness list by the defense.

READ THE FULL DEPOSITION DOCUMENTS HERE:

Section One | Section Two | Section Three | Section Four

The depositions, released after a request by the Orlando Sentinel, show that Anthony told the doctors many of the same things Baez later claimed in court but was never able to substantiate.

See the video diary: Yup, this is Casey Anthony

Danziger, who had originally been appointed by the court to evaluate Anthony’s competency in 2008, met with her again in late 2010 at the request of the defense. During the deposition, he repeatedly expressed concern about discussing details of “crimes that may never have happened,” by going into detail about the alleged sex abuse.

He said his first impression of Anthony was “puzzlement,” noting that she seemed unusually pleasant and normal in an “extraordinarily abnormal situation” when he met with her in jail. He then repeated the claims she made in multiple interviews with him.

According to Danziger, Anthony said her father forced her to do “disgusting, demeaning” sexual acts regularly, starting at age eight and stopping when she was 11. She says she fought back when he tried again when she was older. George Anthony denied these allegations at the trial and no evidence was presented to support them.

“I asked, well, if these things happened, what would you do the next day?” Danziger said. “’Well, I’d go to school. I made straight A's. I had friends. I won awards. I was a popular girl.”

What about Caylee's Father?

Danziger also revealed what Anthony told him about how Caylee was conceived and that she suggested it may have happened against her will: “Took two beers, possibly given another drug. Woke up passed out unclothed bottom. Don’t remember anything at a party, age 18. This is how she said she became pregnant.”

He described what Anthony said happened the day Caylee died in June 2008. She told him she couldn’t find Caylee when she woke up, went out to check the pool and found her father holding Caylee’s wet body.

Reading from his notes, he said, “’He was yelling at me, your fault, can’t believe you did this’ … She said he came out and said, ‘Daddy is going to take care of it, the same thing he used to say to me. He left the house with the child. That’s the last time I saw her.’”

Later, Anthony told him she thought Caylee may still have been alive at that point, according to the transcript.

Danziger was also asked if he recalled telling prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick that Casey Anthony was “just pure evil.” He said he did not remember saying it, but he did not dispute her recollection that he did.

In a statement to HLN Wednesday, George Anthony's attorney, Mark Lippman, dismissed the claims about his client made in the depositions.

"George Anthony was made aware of these statements in the deposition prior to the trial of his daughter in 2011 and no new information has been disclosed today. As he has repeatedly said prior to the trial, during the trial and after the trial he never molested any member of his family including Casey Anthony and he had nothing to do with the death of Caylee Marie Anthony including what happened to her remains after she allegedly drowned," Lippman said.

Weitz recounted hearing similar claims from Anthony about childhood abuse and Caylee’s drowning when he interviewed her. In reference to when Caylee was born, Weitz said, “Casey did indicate that at a point in time she was concerned if George was actually the --- the father of Caylee but that was ruled out by DNA. She talked about then, it was either him or an incident that happened at a party ... There was a question in her mind that she may have been raped or date raped.” WTH?? If he allegedly stopped sexually molesting her at age 11, how could she think that George could be Caylee's father???

Anthony also told Weitz that her father was responsible for Caylee’s death. “It is the perception of Casey that her father had something to do with the death of her daughter…He took Caylee from her. He did something to her. He then put her in the pool,” he said. What? He allegedly took her OUT of the pool.

According to Weitz, Anthony took the allegations against her father ever further than Baez did in court. She told him, “She believes George took Caylee out of the bed, had a sexual -- some sort of a sexual experience with her daughter, and in order to cover it up killed her.”

Weitz said he questioned why Anthony did not tell her mother or seek help if that is what she believed happened.

Doctor: "Ironic twist" explains Casey's tattoo?

He also asked Anthony to explain her tattoos, including the “Bella Vita” one she obtained after Caylee went missing.

“Her life had been relatively normalized, moving in the direction, and then it had catastrophically changed, both in terms of what happened in her life both legally but also, in my mind, the loss of her daughter. So I’m saying there was an ironic shift,” he recalled as the reason she gave for getting that tattoo. Does this even make sense???

He said he believed that Anthony was in “total suppression and denial” during the 31 days between when Caylee was last seen and when she was reported missing.

Both doctors emphasized several times that the information they were providing was just what Casey Anthony told them and not necessarily what they believed to be true. And since the defense did not call them to testify at the trial, nobody knows if a jury would have believed it either.

So she told Danzinger the molestation by geo stopped when she was 11 and she told Weitz she thought geo might be Caylee's father. Many other contradictions in her accounts of what happened. I don't know why everyone says she is a good liar, she is a prolific liar, but not a very good one.

I think both those doctors are just full of it. They said she "seemed" normal - cant they tell normal from abnormal? Its not normal to sit in a jail cell and be friendly and not be worried about your future which might be jail for the rest of your life or worse still the death penalty. She is a pure 100 percent sociopath.

Anthony says she became pregnant after party
By MIKE SCHNEIDER | Associated Press – 1 hr 10 mins ago

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Casey Anthony told a psychiatrist that she became pregnant with her daughter, Caylee, after passing out at a party when she was 18 years old, according to depositions in which the doctor said tests gave no indication that Anthony was mentally ill as she faced her murder trial.

The 25-year-old Anthony was acquitted last July of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in a trial that captured the nation's attention. Anthony didn't know who fathered Caylee, the psychiatrist, Jeff Danziger, recounted in a deposition that was unsealed by a Florida judge and released Wednesday. Danziger interviewed Anthony five times over two years but never testified at her murder trial.

"Two beers, possibly given another drug. Woke up passed out," said Danziger, reading from notes he took during an interview with Anthony in November 2010. "Don't remember anything at a party, age 18. This is how she said she got pregnant."

Anthony is serving a year of probation at an undisclosed location in Florida on a check fraud charge.

Anthony showed no evidence of mental illness and had normal results on a psychological test, Danziger said in the deposition. He described that as surprising, given her circumstances in the Orange County Jail as a suspect in her daughter's slaying. Her temperament was calm, cooperative and pleasant, he said.

"You would expect that would provoke some measure of distress, whether someone genuinely did it, whether someone was falsely accused," Danziger said. "If my child was missing and I was in jail being accused of it, I probably wouldn't eat and wouldn't be cheerful and wouldn't be able to read."

Danziger said he was reluctant to recount all the information Anthony told him during his interviews with her, especially allegations that she had been sexually abused and her contention that her father played a role in covering up Caylee's death. Anthony told the psychiatrist that her father had found Caylee's drowned body in the family's swimming pool, helped disposed of it and then covered it up. During the trial, George Anthony denied playing any role in Caylee's disappearance or death.
Defense attorneys said during the trial that Anthony's father molested her when she was young, and Anthony told Danziger the same thing. George Anthony vehemently denied the allegation on the witness stand and defense attorneys provided no evidence to support it.

"As he has repeatedly said prior to the trial, during the trial and after the trial he never molested any member of his family including Casey Anthony," George Anthony's attorney, Mark Lippman, said Wednesday. "He had nothing to do with the death of Caylee Marie Anthony including what happened to her remains after she allegedly drowned."

Danziger didn't want to become "a vector" of her allegations of crimes against individuals who may not have done anything wrong, he said.

Caylee Anthony went missing in summer 2008, and her disappearance wasn't reported to authorities until a month later. Hundreds of volunteers searched for the missing girl. Anthony lied repeatedly to detectives, claiming a babysitter had kidnapped the toddler.

Transcripts of the depositions had been sealed. But the Orlando Sentinel asked the court to make them public and Judge Belvin Perry agreed.

I actually always believed Casey didnt know who the father was - but I dont buy this date rape business. She only told the doctors this because she wanted to come off as not being so promiscuous that she didnt know who the father was because she slept around so much.

Casey Anthony's psychological evaluations reveal details on pregnancy Empty Re: Casey Anthony's psychological evaluations reveal details on pregnancy

Post by artgal16 Fri Jan 13, 2012 3:24 pm

Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez have filed a motion to talk to the psychologist and psychiatrist who gave mental evaluations of Casey Anthony prior to her murder trial.

According to court records, attorney John Morgan filed the motion on Thursday to use Dr. Jeffery Danziger and Dr. William Weitz as witnesses for Gonzalez’s civil suit. Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation, claiming her life was ruined after Anthony linked her to Caylee Anthony's disappearance in 2008.

The depositions for Danziger and Weitz were unsealed Wednesday, shedding light into Anthony’s controversial account of what she thinks happened to Caylee and Anthony's claim that she had been sexually abused by her father as a child.

In the deposition, Anthony also talked to the doctors about Gonzalez, but her response contradicted what her defense team told the jury in her murder trial.

During the trial, Anthony’s team said she made up the story about Gonzalez, but sixth months earlier, Anthony told psychiatrists that she used Gonzalez as a nanny, but Gonzalez just didn’t kidnap Caylee.

Anthony, 25, is currently serving probation on unrelated charges in an undisclosed location in Florida.

Four things to know about the Casey depositions

By Stephen Loiaconi
updated 1:31 PM EST, Fri January 13, 2012

NEED TO KNOW
Why were the shocking Casey Anthony mental health documents just now revealed?

Newspaper asked to have depositions unsealed after prosecutor wrote about them

HLN explains the interviews and how they were used as strategy in the case

So you've had some time to read through the nearly 500 pages of newly released deposition transcripts from the Casey Anthony case... but still have questions? So did we! The depositions of psychiatrist Dr. Jeffrey Danziger and psychologist Dr. William Weitz are filled with surprising revelations, but there are plenty of things you may still be wondering about. HLN has a few answers.

The trial ended six months ago. Why are we only seeing these documents now?

Because they weren't public until the Orlando Sentinel asked for them to be unsealed last month. The newspaper’s motion came after prosecutor Jeff Ashton discussed previously unreleased information about the depositions in his recent book, “Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony.” Anthony’s attorneys argued that the depositions should remain sealed while her appeal is pending -- and they even tried to have Ashton held in contempt of court for spilling the details. But in his order unsealing the documents, Judge Belvin Perry said that he only intended for them to be kept private through the end of Casey's trial for her daughter Caylee’s murder.

Who are these doctors and how did they get involved in the case?

Dr. Jeffrey Danziger actually played a role much earlier in the case as one of the mental health experts appointed by the court to evaluate Casey Anthony’s competency following her arrest in 2008. He was contacted by the defense in October of 2010 and asked to interview Anthony again to “see if there was anything from a psychiatric standpoint that would be relevant to her defense,” according to the transcript. He said he met with Anthony four times in November and December of 2010.

Dr. William Weitz described himself as a registered traumatologist and told prosecutors he has testified in 50-75 criminal cases since the 1980s. The defense brought him in as a consultant in December 2009, in part because of his expertise in “traumatic stress issues.” He conducted two lengthy interviews with Anthony in February and March 2011.

Did they believe everything Casey Anthony told them?

Jeff Ashton certainly didn’t think so. In his book, he described Danziger’s demeanor on the day of his deposition this way: “In my opinion, he saw himself that day, not as a physician giving a diagnosis but as a vehicle for the transmission of a lie and I think the thought sickened him.” During the depositions, Danziger and Weitz were both careful to separate the facts about what Casey told them from the truth about what they might believe to be true.

“Am I ethically doing the right thing by reporting things she said that accuse others of crimes that may never have happened?” Danziger questioned at one point.

Asked if his statements accurately reflected Casey Anthony’s claims of sexual abuse, Weitz responded, “That’s what was represented to me … I’m not saying it took place.”

So why didn’t these experts testify at Anthony’s trial?

For one thing, their conclusions may not have been all that helpful to the defense case. Prosecutors stated in a motion filed in April that both experts “do not diagnose the defendant as suffering from any clinical or personality disorders.” In his deposition, Danziger said he was “puzzled” that Anthony seemed so calm in jail despite the situation she was in. Weitz also noted the dissonance in her demeanor.

Several motions filed between the two deposition dates suggest another possible reason. Because the defense wanted these two experts to testify, prosecutors argued that they should be allowed to have their own mental health expert examine Anthony. In response, the defense argued the state did not have that right and asked that numerous restrictions be placed on the examination if the court allowed it to occur. The next day, at the second part of Danziger’s deposition, Baez announced that they were taking him off the witness list. A few days later, the defense filed a notice that both witnesses were being withdrawn. Why? HLN’s Nancy Grace believes they were afraid to let a prosecution mental health expert interview Anthony.

“They called the whole thing off when they realized the state shrinks were going to get to interview Tot Mom,” Grace said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday.

I think we would all be able to give a proper evaluation without a degree or even a class in the subject of psychology/psychiatristy. She is just a plain, ugly liar who murdered a innocent child. She is not even a good liar and the murder was so careless and the disposal so lazy, it is unfathomable that she was able to get away with any of it. Somehow she was just surrounded by enough ignorant, blind, pathetic, apathetic people her whole life it seemed. She is not some superstar, mentally ill case worth studying, maybe those surrounding her are though. I would like to understand why Cindy and George let her live the lies she did for those years of Caylee's life. I would like to understand how that jury came to the conclusion they did.

One of the things that I felt was glaring was that in the jury instructions, Judge Perry should have made the jury aware that circumstantial evidence was to be considered the same as actual evidence. The jury kept saying everything was circumstantial and they seemed to believe they could discount it. The original charges should not have included the death penalty -it was too high a penalty to go for in this case - there should have been lesser charges such as abuse of a corpse, and possibly some other lesser charges that the jury could have found that might have made it easier for them to find her guilty of charges that brought harsher penalties. The couple of jurors I heard speak all said they thought she was guilty of something - that says to me that charges should have been expanded to give the jury some more choices, but not the death penalty. I felt the jury should have been picked there in Orange County.
It would have been okay to sequester, but not go out of the area for jurors. I thought that was a mistake - also the issue of the State running out of money put pressure to pick the jury - everything was too hurried
and it took 3 years to bring her to trial which again speaks to the whole system when defendants cannot get a swift trial and justice.

I wonder if Casey is suffering more with the not guilty verdict than she would be if she had been found guilty. Even if she's lucky enough to land the big bucks interview the money isn't going to buy her happiness. She'll never be able to go to the mall or sit at the dinner table of a perspective mother in law (unless the woman just wants her money). All the material things in the world can't substitute for the freedom to come and go as you please and people that genuinely love you. In prison she would have at least known what her life was; she has no idea what the future will bring to her existence and I can't imagine that she will ever have any real peace of mind. The not guilty verdict may be her Karma.

art, there were lesser charges, they found her not guilty on all the charges except lying. The jury did not do their duty, whether it was because of stupidity, apathy, both and/or something else, they did not follow the judge's orders. It is true, so many people think cirucmstantial evidence is not "real" evidence, but in reality it is the main kind of evidence, the other being an eyewitness or video tape. And with eyewitness testimony, circumstantial evidence is often more reliable.

In my opinion, this case was absolutely one for the DP! She did not put any value on an innocent child's life, so how can anyone put any value on hers. That is the only verdict that would have been a fair one. A recent MS governor should make everyone realize that there is no guarantee that a sentence of life without parole will last.

No doubt this case was a DP case; however, I agree with Art. Simply because Dr. G could not prove the matter of death. That said, and the fact Baez and gang attempted to throw George under the bus and for whatever REASONS, the jury Bought it..she was set free. Had this not been a DP, had the jury come from Orange County, had the trial been speedy, had Richard and Jesse Grund been able to speak at trial, I do believe she would have been found Guilty of AT the Very Least, 2nd degree murder.

As far as BJ's statement, I don't buy it. Sorry, BJ. Casey will split to Mexico or Puerto Rico once her probation is up. She will either be just part of the huge crowd like an ant in an ant farm or w/be singled out and killed. My Opinion Only.

I agree laga. The State of Florida got it right when they sought the Death Penalty and I truly felt they presented a strong case against her.
IMO The jury was tired of being away from their homes, family and friends and were ready to go on with their lives. One was just a few days away from missing a birthday cruise with their family and I believe this also factored into the speedy verdict.
I know I keep harping on this but "They Didn't Even Review One Piece Of The Evidence" If they really felt she was guilty of something, then they should have searched through the evidence again and again until they found it!

Casey Anthony's psychological evaluations reveal details on pregnancy Empty Re: Casey Anthony's psychological evaluations reveal details on pregnancy

Has Casey Anthony moved to St. Lucie County after being acquitted of first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee? According to People magazine, she has.

In the magazine's latest issue, Florida-based staff writer Steve Helling gives a description of leaked video diaries Anthony, 25, allegedly made while carrying out a one-year probation sentence for check fraud, handed down in August by an Orlando judge.

In the story, Helling also drops a bombshell, writing that Anthony lives alone in St. Lucie County. Helling doesn't disclose how he discovered Anthony's whereabouts. In 2011, Helling wrote the ebook "Outrage: The Casey Anthony Story."

One person who said she can corroborate Helling's report is Port St. Lucie resident Chrissandra Jennings, who said she saw Anthony at a St. Lucie County stoplight on Sept. 20 around 5 p.m. Jennings, who followed the murder trial closely, said she is not mistaken. Jennings said she posted about the sighting that day on social networking site Facebook.

"She was dead in my face. She had her hair in a bun and it looked like it was highlighted," said Jennings, who added she overheard Anthony yelling into a cellphone while behind the wheel of a white car.

Jennings, who was on her way home from work that day, said the sighting occurred at the intersection of Darwin and Port St. Lucie Boulevard.

In the past, Anthony has been linked to St. Lucie County. Private investigator Jeremiah "Jerry" Lyons, of Port St. Lucie was hired in 2009 by Anthony's defense attorney Jose Baez, according to news reports.

This county is NOT near Orange County. If she is suppose to be residing in Orange County via her Orders by Judge Perry, she is in default - unless JP allowed it and has kept it sealed.

So, she has Another white car. Yelling into her cell phone. Nothing has changed!!

An author at People Magazine says he has figured out where Casey Anthony lives.

Steve Helling confirmed to Local 6 Friday that he "figured out" Anthony is living in St. Lucie County.

Helling didn't say how he figured this out, but said "it's true."

St. Lucie County is about 120 miles southeast of Orlando between Vero Beach and West Palm Beach.

The article by Helling was appeared in People Magazine on Friday.

Videos posted of Anthony, 25, recently appeared on the internet.

Anthony was acquitted of murder charges in connection with the death of her daughter Caylee last year.

She is currently serving probation on unrelated charges.

Local 6 reached out to Anthony's attorney Cheney Mason but he didn't return phone calls.

Watch Local 6 for more on this story.
