Trenton Duckett/Revisiting the case of Trenton Duckett

What you write is very interesting and obviously I'm not aware of the 'other side of the story' as you are. Are you a relative or? I'm just curious because I've not read most of what you write.

Here is Carla's nephew Christopher Roberts mug shot and police report for molesting a 6 year old girl in his home. He was a cop at the time and the court case ended in a hung jury.

No I'm not a relative. I became interested because when this all happened my daughter lived in Leesburg and has a daughter born Aug 14 2003, Trenton was born Aug 10, 2004. She phoned me to pray for this missing child as there was a hurricane on its way. We prayed. Also at that time I quit my job and started looking for information on this case on the internet. Never posted, etc. I could not believe the horrible assumptions and accusations that were being hurled at Melinda. Having a daughter of my own, who had been falsely accused by a plotting husband, my flags went up. When Melinda died, I couldn't believe it. No one was speaking up for Melinda...her family, friends, no one. I joined forums like sticks of fire, then Tampa Forums, then went over to Websleuths. I started a defending Melinda thread and was constantly attacted. Later discovered that Laurie Konnerth, the lone signatory on the Trenton Duckett Family Trust Fund organized a "campaign" if you will to shut down the defending Melinda thread. Why? Anyway, I contacted by email Kimberly Schulte and told her that since Melinda never got her two hour trial in court, I wanted to do my part to clear her name. I sent her my posts from the defending Melinda thread, she forwarded them to the Eubanks and here I am 5 1/2 years later. The grandparents have been wonderful friends to me and my family. I brought my granddaughter to their home a few times, they loved seeing her and shared some of Trenton's toys for her to play with. Billy Eubank calls me "his detective buddy". They are both not doing too well these days, some battles with health. He wants me to write a book. I told him I have the name. It is what he says everytime we close our telephone conversation: "One Day..." When Jesus has His way, we will know the truth". In the meantime, I write the blog hoping to turn over some rock, hear from some person. I also completed my course in private investigation this past summer. Need the tools to do a good job for Melinda and Trenton. I promised the grandparents I would never give up. I persevere.

I feel so for Melinda's Grandparents, those people have suffered a great deal. How nice of you to get out the word about Melinda and being a friend to the Grandparents. You sound like you have a great deal of information to help the Grandfather write a book. Good luck on that. I still think Trenton is in So. Korea but who knows.

I think Trenton is in South Carolina, not south Korea.

With the help of the Eubanks I have purchased public records to the tune of $650 from FDLE. I have also contacted many police agencies, both by mail and in person to collect some more public records. Leesburg won't return my calls or anyone else's inquiries, that are connected to Melinda Duckett. I have the 2 1/2 hour dvd of the Leesburg police interrogating Melinda Duckett purchased from FDLE. I posted the last 15 minutes on uTube under The Inquisition of Melinda Duckett. It's hard to hear, because Melinda talks quite fast, but that was how she normally talked according to her family and friends. I've facebooked, emailed and talked to a number of people that knew Melinda. All had only good things to say about her, especially that she loved Trenton and he was her everything. It's been a difficult road trying to repaint the picture drawn by the Duckett camp of Melinda being this crazy unfit mother who would do anything to keep Trenton away from his father. In June 2006 she wrote a Will (a package deal when she filed for divorce) she named Josh to have custody of Trenton should she die.
But then, she became extremely frightened when she got the threatening email from Josh on July 3rd. Then afraid again on July 14 when she got the two pictures handed to her by Trenton which someone had to hand him through the open window. And again on the evening of Aug 12 2006 (before her birthday party) she must have received some sort of threat from Josh because she was frantically calling her friends to get $5,000 cash to protect her and Trenton. She kept Trenton close to her during that time, only letting her grandparents babysit but she was even afraid that they couldn't protect him. She always aspired to do everything by the book. She scheduled a court trial to settle this once and for all for her divorce and the email for Sept 13, 2006. Something had to happen because, if Melinda was successful, Carla and Josh were looking at child support for $403 plus alimony coming to almost $1,000 per month. Melinda had it all covered. She worked during the day, Trenton went to daycare. The nights she had to physically go to class the grandparents or Cara would babysit. Josh had visitation every other weekend so that freed her up to go "party" with her friends. She took Trenton places like the beach and when she delivered papers late at night, she put him in his carseat. The grandparents were unhappy about this and so she quit that job. She sold Avon and got her notary which she advertised on her Avon cards. She started going to Orlando for seminars for Forex a foreign exchange program where she could make money online. She invested some money using her credit cards. She sold things at the flea market to make extra cash, and her grandparents paid her money everymonth which she used to pay her rent which was always paid early. She had no motive to kill Trenton. She had no time to ever plan to hide Trenton. There was NOTHING on her computer, her days were filled, take a look at the daily posts for August on the blog. She had a friend overseas in the military who wanted Melinda and Trenton to be his family when he got home. She had a career. And she had a beautiful son. They took it all from her.

But let me tell you, Karma is a Bitch!.

IMO, she killed herself because she knew her lies were catching up with her and I also think this "gang" may have been threatening her life. She also had a history of porn.

I know a lot of people following Trenton's case are hoping he's in Korea because that would mean that he's safe and alive but the chances of that being the case are nil.
The connection Melinda had with Korea, notwithstanding the fact that she was adopted from there, is non-existent. It would be like trying to make a connection between any of the random posters here and maybe the U.K. because their names are Smith or Johnson.
As for any involvement of a Korean gang, I would like to ask, what Korean gang is this? Does it have a name? For any particular ethnic gang to be active, there has to be a significant enclave of that particular ethnicity in the area. As far as I know, Florida isn't known for its large Korean contingent.
So let's leave Korea out of the discussion because it is at best a red herring. Only people who are not familiar with Korea and Korean adoptees in general will give it any serious thought.

I suspect the truth is a lot more simpler and probably lies much closer to where all this went down than all the way across the globe.

Some new developments in this case: I have been contacted on my website by Kevin Massero, Carla's estranged husband. We have exchanged phone numbers and have talked quite a few times as well as emails, planning on meeting up as I live in Ocala, Florida as does Kevin. He has his life turned around - no more drugs - and has a future at his job. Carla has not filed for divorce yet still lives with boyfriend Jason Fort in the mobile home that is in Kevin's name - which upsets him. Kevin says that Carla is nice on the outside, but behind closed doors she is a "screaming bitch". Carla wants to be in control...at all times.

Kevin told me that he believes Melinda had nothing to do with Trenton's disappearance, that Melinda had nothing to do with the arson at the flower shop. He liked Melinda. One of the main things he told me is that he was a witness the night of April 29th 2005 when Chief Joyce Wells came to their home in Webster while Josh Duckett phoned Melinda...over and over again trying to push her buttons and make her say something they could use to have Joyce baker act Melinda. Why? Because the court case filed the day before was to gain FULL custody of Trenton. Then, when Melinda wasn't saying anything they left the house together and went to the Bushnell Police Dept because Josh was still calling Melinda and Melinda was on her way home to her apartment in Bushnell. It was after midnight when Melinda told Josh that she wanted to end their relationship, but she said "I just want to end it". That's when they sent a police car and Joyce Wells went to Melinda's apartment in Bushnell and took Trenton out of her car when she tried to go back to her grandparents with Trenton because she was suspicious of the things Josh was saying to her and she was scared.

Carla also used Joyce Wells to file a complaint when Josh first left Melinda - (when he didn't want to be a family anymore) and filed a DCF report. The investigator was Kevin Vaughan and he along with DCF worker Ms. Crews found no evidence of any wrongdoing. Carla told Joyce that Melinda gave Vaughan oral sex and Wells transferred him. But that was a complete lie! James Duckett in a letter to me stated that it was Carla who had an affair with a Bushnell police officer and that is the reason that her second husband Brian Lee Boggs divorced her! Carla just conjured up that story about Vaughan to harass Melinda.

It's important to note that Chief Joyce Wells and her whole department were found to be guilty of improprieties April 2012 and the whole department was closed and Wells "retired". There is only the Sumter County Sheriff Office now operating in that area.

Another thing Kevin told me was that Carla has issues. Kevin is worried about Josh's other son Ryder who just turned 5 in November 2012.

I was also contacted last summer by Ryder's mother Stephani. She begged me to help her FIND HER SON! The court granted 50% custody to Stephani and Josh. (Josh impregnated Stephani when Trenton was missing 6 months - in February 2007 the same time Carla opened her flower shop in Leesburg and Josh was planning to go race in Alabama and California)

I advised her that there was a court order of 50% custody and that she needed to write to the court for a motion for an emergency child pick up order. Stephani knew that Josh and Carla had Trenton but they would not answer her phone calls and Josh got married in March 2012 and moved out of Carla's house in Webster. Carla was keeping Ryder at her shop but threatened to have Stephani arrested for trespassing if she attempted to see Ryder. The police said it was a civil matter. So basically Ryder was KIDNAPPED. And I am going to say this loud and clear JUST LIKE THEY KIDNAPPED TRENTON.

Stephani was successful in getting the court case reopened and Josh was in contempt of court. A family plan was spelled out with the exchange of Ryder every few days and alternate weekends. BUT, like Kevin stated Carla has to have control.

So, with this new set up, Carla was unhappy, just like with Melinda. The police were called on Stephani making false statements that Stephani was doind drugs - Meth. The irony of this is that Jan. 3, 2012 Josh was arrested in a drug sting selling drugs to a CI out of Carla's home when they had Ryder there. Then Carla called DCF, about drugs, prostitution, and that Stephani put a knife to Ryder's throat.

Sound familiar?

So if you think Melinda was the one who hid Trenton from Josh or killed him because he ruined her social life, think again.

Stephani lived with Josh and Carla for a time.
Kevin lived with Carla from 1989 until 2005.
James Duckett lived with Carla from 1977 to 1987.

You think that Melinda Duckett was crazy? All those above know that Melinda was innocent and not crazy. And all those above know that both Carla Massero and Josh Duckett tell lies, lies and more lies.

PS I interviewed Carla's old landlord from the flower shop she closed the day Trenton went missing. She owed them amny months of back rent. They had their office next door and heard a lot of goings on through the wall. When Trenton went missing, they searched behind the shop for Trenton's body. Now that should give you a clue.

Another update.  Josh Duckett married Debi Doster March 3, 2012. Now Debi is divorcing Josh and has moved out of their home in Inverness, Florida which they purchased July 2012 and now she lives in Leesburg Florida.  The reason?  She wants Carla Massero out of her life. She says that Carla and Josh have a sick relationship.  Kevin Massero asked me if I see a pattern here.  I told him I have for 7 years.
