Read judge’s order regarding use of George Anthony’s grand jury testimony in Casey Anthony case

This week, Judge Stan Strickland ordered that the prosecution be allowed to obtain a transcript of George Anthony’s testimony before a grand jury in his daughter's case.

Casey Anthony is charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony, 2. Her trial is scheduled to begin June 2010.

According to Florida Today, the prosecution wants to compare Casey's father's testimony in the grand jury proceeding to the information he gave in a later deposition.

Although Casey’s defense team also requested a copy, Judge Strickland decided the state will be the only party receiving a copy of the transcript for now.
