Prosecutors to release documents to Casey Anthony's defense

State prosecutors will release more documents and other items to Casey Anthony's defense as part of the discovery process.

In a notice filed today, prosecutors said they would release about 40 pages of documents, as well as a CD and DVD of video from WFTV depicting duct tape.

The items will eventually be made available to the public.

Prosecutors today also added another expert to their witness list -- Dr. James W. Jawitz, an associate professor at the University of Florida.

According to the university's Web site, Jawitz is an associate professor in the soil and water science department and director of graduate programs.

They released documents on Friday the 13th? I wonder if KC believes in bad luck on that day? This is a crazy law they have in Florida. I am on the fence as to if the Sunshine law is a good one to have.

Wonder when these will be released to the public?

Probably by Wed. The media can request w/in 72 hours, not counting weekends, to release.
