I don't think the identity of the father would be something the prosecutors would wish to hold back as it would become public knowledge soon enough (they only got a 30 day hold) and it really would be meaningless to the case at this point. While it would protect the "john's" name for a short period, I don't think they would bother going through the hassle with motions knowing Baez would file a reply motion, etc.

I read somewhere that sometimes prosecutors ask to withhold info if it's linked to another on-going investigation and they don't want to interfere with it. Maybe they did find out KC was involved with the escort service and now they are trying to get evidence against the proprietors of that business. I did see a photo of someone who looked very much like KC looking into a mirror in quite a sexy pose. It wouldn't surprise me if she did sell herself. (although she surely didn't have any savings to show for it)

I think when KC pretended to go to work she just drove around long enough for her parents to leave for their jobs and then she went back home.

I ponder the jail guard leaking Caylee's location. Although I do believe it possible, I don't think anyone who knew where the remains were in August would wait until December to discover them. I think Kronk had a strong hunch which just wouldn't go away. If he knew for sure, he would have found them while the reward money was still in play. He's certainly not a rich man. But I do think Sindy knew by October and sent Dom Casey to verify it, hoping there was nothing left to use as evidence against NotMom.

This hatches all sorts of ideas for me...

Larry Garrison (the Anthony's spokesperson) was hired in August
Krunk called 911 three times in August
Tim Miller's first searched in August
Garrison is fired or resigns in November
Tim Miller comes again to search in November
December 11, Krunk finally gets someone to believe that he has found Caylee's body.
Maybe Garrison is the witness

Maybe the witness is Krunk's jail house girlfriend.
Maybe it's one of the Anthony's neighbors (and the State wants to protect them from being coerced by the hammer hand of Cindy!)

Maybe it's Ex-Deputy Anthony Rusciano, who was fired when he lied to LE about having a relationship with Casey. Perhaps he didn't tell the truth about her, because he aided and abetted her in some way. Or perhaps he coached her in the art of interrogation... Deny, Deny, Deny.

or maybe it's Dr. Lee's confession he dropped those 14 hairs into the trunk! HA!! frying pan

One of Nancy's reporters made a brief statement about the sealed evidence, that the Judge would have to make a decision about it soon. And something about "A very disturbed woman who was trying to interject herself into the case."

IMO this is about the EX-Mrs. Krunk and duct tape.
Baez was harping on wanting LE to look into Krunk's sketchy background.
I think the evidence Strickland is sitting on is the results (good or bad) of that investigation.

I'd also bet that Krunk has an air tight alibi for the time LE thinks Caylee was murdered, and that's another reason for the defense to argue that the body was dumped while KC was in jail.

I thought the "very disturbed" woman referred to was Joy Wray.

Joy Wray....wrote letter to Strickland stating she searched woods where Caylee was found and there was nothing there. She claimed she believed Caylee was alive, but when she was found, she said she had worked with Tim Miller and searched that area completely, even took photos which she claims prove there was no body there early on. She has added to and changed her "story" many times. JMO..she's nuts.

Okay. I know there is quite a lot of talk about her on SM and WS way before she wrote that letter but I never really read up on it as I saw her MySpace and thought she was a complete whackadoo! Thanks, Laga for the memory jolt. :lightning:

Sorry, Wrap, I figured if I knew about Joy then everyone did....

Laga did a great job of explaining her, but may I add that Joy has been Baker Acted several times. She claims to have brought food to the Ants during the searches in August, has been at some of the trial hearings, and wrote a letter to Judge Strickland shortly after Caylee's remains were found stating that she saw people planting the Disney dress and the beads. To top it off she also claims that Caylee was dumped in the woods in October, because she smelled a foul odor then.

Another nutjob....she fits right in with the Ant's clan.
