why would the woman 1/2 responsible for Eric’s death get anything much less his ashes?

Why would Kristi, if she's responsible for Eric's death, even want his ashes? Eric's mother, the woman who gave birth to him, should have his ashes IMHO.

Re: Timothy Wayne Morgan convicted of the murder of Eric Dee Preimesberger/ Sentencing is scheduled for 6-20-12.
Ivy Rayne and Damien Eric are the correct names of Eric Dee Preimesberger's children. I've corrected the comments that contained their names.
Thanks, Kay! God bless you and your family! We are all praying for justice.

BJ, did your info source tell you anything about Kristi Preimesberger? Tim's sister that helped with the murder of Eric? Is she being charged and tried for anything?

There are many comments on the Hinky Meter, some recent comments from Eric's mother, Kay... Too many to bring over. Kristi hasn't been charged.

Eric Preimesberger case: Kristi arrested, another man beaten
Posted on October 25, 2011 by Val
Well, it appears Kristi moved…again. She’s apparently been living, with the children, in the Big Bear Lake, California area. Let’s see what Kristi Morgan Preimesberger has been up to, and where she’s at right now!
Deputies arrested two Big Bear City residents on charges of beating a man with a metal bar Sept. 26.
Owen Emerson, 20, and Kristi Preimesberger, 31, were arrested after allegedly striking a 62-year-old man with a metal bar, according to Sgt. Jerry Hughes of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station. The assault took place in the in the 200 block of East Angelus Boulevard in Big Bear City.
Hughes said the victim, a 62-year-old man, and Preimesberger were arguing when she began hitting the man with the bar. The victim, whose name is not being released, was transported to Bear Valley Community Hospital with significant injuries, Hughes said.
The article goes on to state that Owen Emerson and Kristi fled the scene “to their home” (she got a new lay) where deputies found Emerson hiding in a shed and two minor children still sitting in the vehicle!
Eric’s children (I refuse to call them this drug-addict, violent whore’s children) were taken into child protective services (THANK YOU SWEET BABY JESUS! )
So…since the vast majority of us believe that Kristi is the one who beat Eric almost to death with a bat, stuffed him in a dark closet to finish dying, and then called her brother Tim, who is still sitting in jail in Reno because he was stupid enough to take the rap so that his sister wouldn’t get in trouble, the beating of a 62 year old man by Kristi doesn’t really surprise us!
Let us pray…that Tim will now see the light. That he will realize that he cannot save his violent, murderous sister from this latest predicament that she is in; that he will realize that Eric’s children are now SAFE from their egg-donor’s horrendous lifestyle; and that he will tell the truth. Tim Morgan…tell the truth. Confess to what part you played in hiding and disposing of Eric’s body, but tell the truth about how Eric was murdered.
Valhall.

Lawyers argue over allowing confession of man suspected in Reno murder
Suspect told police he was a drug dealer, and the mafia killed his brother-in-law
3:31 PM, Feb. 7, 2012
Timothy Morgan / Reno Police Department
Lawyers for an Oregon spiritual healer accused of the murder of his brother-in-law are set to argue later this month that his confession and drug dealing charges should not be used as evidence in his upcoming trial.
But prosecutor Derek Dreiling said in court papers that jurors need to know about Timothy Wayne Morgan’s “fantastic” lies to police and flight from the area so they may evaluate his credibility. He is accused of the April 24, 2010 open murder of Eric Preimesberger, 29, of Reno.
“Morgan’s inconsistencies and lies are highly probative to his identity as the killer, and to his claim of self defense,” Dreiling wrote, adding recorded jail phone calls Morgan made to his father including him admitting some of what he told police were lies.
During a Feb. 23 hearing before Washoe District Judge Patrick Flanagan, attorneys will argue if Morgan’s confession to police, which included several different accounts of what happened, should be evidence in his April 30 trial.
His public defenders say the drug dealing statements made by Morgan will only prejudice jurors, and are not related to the case.
“The state also makes the leap of faith that he was lying due to a consciousness of guilt that related to the death of Eric Preimesberger, and not the marijuana,” his attorneys said in their motion to exclude the statements.
Morgan, 26, told Reno police that he is a marijuana dealer charged in multiple states, and that mafia members who fronted him drug money really killed his relative. He told police several differing accounts of the slaying; to include he struck Preimesberger in the head with a bat in self defense, that “El Fuego” his drug source was the killer and that a van of kidnappers pulled Preimesberger inside and drove away. He also claimed El Fuego put a gun to his head and told him “the same thing’s going to happen to you.”
The eyewitness to Preimesberger’s April 24, 2010 fatal baseball bat attack was Morgan’s sister, Kristi, who helped lure Morgan into police custody after the pair fled the area following the killing. She told police she saw her brother kill her husband, and then helped him move the body into the Reno couple’s vehicle, where it rotted for several days in the back seat, according to court records. She has not been charged in the case, and gave an earlier videotaped deposition to what she witnessed, records show.
Reno police became involved when Preimesberger’s mother on May 17, 2010 reported him missing. His wife and Morgan claimed to investigators he fled their home and two children on April 24 following a heated argument, and never returned. Morgan had travelled to Reno to help the couple move to Oregon, where the whole family was going to open a new business.
According to court documents, Morgan asked a friend from Oregon, whom he leads in spiritual/sound healing groups, to help dump the body near Frenchman’s Reservoir in Plumas County, Calif. He told the friend they were on a spiritual journey to close an “energy portal” and dispose of some “negative energy.” Police said Morgan bought a commercial freezer which he used to transport the body to the wilderness with his unknowing friend.
Eric Preimesberger’s body was found Aug. 19, when the siblings were already in custody in Minnesota on drug charges. Kristi Preimesberger had placed prescription drugs that did not belong to her in the backpack of your young daughter, while her brother was arrested for possessing drugs in his motel room and vehicle, court records show. She had lured her brother to the motel with a text message for Reno police, who wanted to question him in the killing.
Records show Morgan was arrested in March 2010 in Nebraska for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and in August 2010 of possessing marijuana in Minnesota.
Dreiling said the jury will have to decide if they believe Morgan, or his sister.

I'll tell you, there sure isn't a lot of information, or at least NEW info, on "Google". I've set up a Google search for both the victim and the defendant.
We WELCOME all new members and realize we have some new members that knew the victim.

Why would the Prosecution want the prior bad acts precluded? I know she is testifying for the State but it makes no sense they want some stuff kept out. Kristi is as guilty as Timothy. I want them both to pay for what they did to Eric.

Kristie has "past" prison time and last year she "again" beat a man almost todeath. This time she used a crow bar.
Pros. wants to go after Tim that is allllll they care about. They don't care about the truth.
Pros. doesn't want Kristie to muddle things up.
Defense does want Kristie to muddy the waters....it is called "reasonable doubt".

If Kristie's prior bad acts are allowed in (and she does have some!), it may make the jurors think that she actually committed the murder instead of Tim (which she probably did!)...But if it causes the jury to have "reasonable doubt" about Tim's involvement, they both could walk free, and who knows if LE will ever arrest and charge her with anything since they haven't already (which I don't understand!). From what I've read over at Hinky, they both should be charged with murder because no matter which one actually beat him, they BOTH let him die afterwards...They are both scumbags and should be in prison...

I can't make heads or tails if they are going to allow it or not allow it?

There is next to nothing on the web about this case. Doesn't the media think his life is worth letting the public, his friends and family, KNOW what is going on?
Lisette, you raised some VERY good points.

Trial continues for man accused of murdering his brother-in-law
Suspect's sister testifies she saw the killing
After a period of violence and arguing seemingly subsided, Kristi Preimesberger turned her head in time to see her brother swing a baseball bat to the back of her husband’s head, which inflicted a fatal wound.
Preimesberger and her brother, Timothy Wayne Morgan, then moved her husband’s lifeless body into a rental vehicle in their garage and later bought a commercial freezer that was supposed to be his coffin, according to her testimony Monday about the April 21, 2010, death of Eric Preimesberger, 29, of Reno. Morgan, 27, is charged with first-degree murder.
Her testimony continues Tuesday during the second day of trial before Washoe District Judge Patrick Flanagan. She has not been charged in the case.
Morgan is a spiritual healer from Oregon who came to Reno to help his sister and her husband move to Oregon where they had planned to operate a business together. But the couple had been fighting, Kristi Preimesberger testified, and she needed her brother’s help to move because she wasn’t sure her husband was going to follow through. Eric Preimesberger was unemployed and the couple and their two young children were struggling financially.
Kristi Preimesberger testified that she and her husband had a rocky relationship that was plagued with domestic violence and bursts of anger from her husband. She said they began fighting April 20, 2010, their anniversary, because she was ill and didn’t feel like going to dinner to celebrate. So he cursed at her and left the home. When he didn’t return the following morning, she called her brother and asked him to help. They had to be out of their home on Red Baron Boulevard by the end of the month.
When Eric Preimesberger finally came home the night of April 21, 2010, she testified they immediately began to argue and he pushed her. He then threatened to “kick my ass,” she said. Her brother then emerged from hiding in a closet and confronted his brother-in-law.
The men had argued and engaged in a physical confrontation, which seemed to dissipate after Morgan went into the kitchen to wash a hand that got injured during their scuffle, Kristi Preimesberger said.
“I turned around and saw my brother strike Eric,” she testified. “I saw him hit him in the head with a baseball bat.”
Deputy District Attorney Derek Dreiling said after Morgan crushed his brother-in-law’s skull as the victim was sitting on the couch, he and Kristi Preimesberger didn’t call police. Dreiling said Morgan took a second swing at the front of Preimesberger’s face, shattering his orbital bones and breaking his jaw.
Preimesberger eventually had a friend help him drive the freezer containing Eric Preimesberger’s body to near Frenchman’s Reservoir in Plumas County where he would bury it. Dreiling said Morgan told the man they were going on a spiritual journey for summer solstice and were getting rid of negative energy. During the burial he told the friend to not look because he would risk having the negative energy rub off on him. The pair then dumped the freezer and set it on fire.
Reno police became involved when Eric Preimesberger’s mother reported him missing. Kristi Preimesberger told police her husband left following an argument and never came back.
Detectives interviewed the siblings in Minnesota where they had been arrested on unrelated charges. Kristi Preimesberger eventually told police what she saw while her brother had several versions of events to tell detectives.
During his interview, Morgan first claimed that Eric Preimesberger simply left. Then he said drug dealers may have killed him. Morgan than changed his story to say he witnessed a van full of men pull up to Eric Preimesberger on the street and snatch him. His final account was that he struck his brother-in-law in self defense, after the detective brought it up as a possible explanation.

Reno sister says she helped brother hide dead body
Reno, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – The trial of an Oregon man charged with killing another man in Reno two years ago is now under way in Washoe District Court.
The victim’s wife and the defendants sister testified Monday that in 2010 Timothy Morgan hid the body with her help at several random parking lots until he could find a freezer to keep it in.
Kristi Preimesberger says her and husband, Eric, were fighting in front of her brother, Timothy. Kristi says she walked away from her husband and when she turned around she saw her bother had injured Eric. She says he hit him in the head with a baseball bat so hard part of the wood broke off in his skull.
After that statement, Kristi said she went into shock and started cleaning up the crime scene and even helping her brother hide the body.
The defense won't start presenting their case for a few more days.

I have to say this as it's been on my mind for a very long time. Do the two mugshots look like they are on drugs? These people don't look Healthy to me. Their faces are drawn in and they look like either meth or crack abusers. Now, if I am wrong, I apologize but if it looks like a duck........

I don't usually do this, but if you see something EXTREMELY compelling at WS, BACKED UP BY A LINK, feel free to bring it here but please make sure you acknowledge you got this from WS with THEIR direct link and the link they are speaking of. If they
"seem to know" what's going on and are not linking it to an actual article, we don't need it here. But, in all fairness, I just want to insure they (as they usually are) are linking anything that is stated as FACT. If you have any questions, please PM me. And, BTW, I we are SO Happy you are Here!!
Re: Timothy Wayne Morgan convicted of the murder of Eric Dee Preimesberger/ Sentencing is scheduled for 6-20-12.
The extradition of Tim and Kristi Morgan from Minnesota, where they were originally arrested on drug charges, to Nevada on charges related to the murder of Eric Preimesberger, has been completed.
This is from an article upthread, Wrap. They were/are both drug users. I remember reading that Kristi was charged with child endangerment because she stuck some of her illegal pills in one of the children's backpack before she was arrested.

Thanks for updating me, Lisette. This case has been going on for quite sometime and with all the cases, one (ME) can forget the fine details. OMG, she stuck some of her illegal pins in one of the children's backpack's? Are you talking a syringe here?????????
Re: Timothy Wayne Morgan convicted of the murder of Eric Dee Preimesberger/ Sentencing is scheduled for 6-20-12.
Can anyone imagine being in Timothy and Kristi Mothers shoes? One testifying against the other knowing that at least one of them took a human life (if not both of them), the Father of her Grandchildren.
