Well, I will be listening to Blog Talk Radio today just to see what they have to say. Hell, I may even call in. I want to know about the forensics. Are they back? It's been a good 3 weeks now. They would know something. I also want specifics on this infamous "plea deal" with Ron.

Grrr... I wrote here but it didn't post so I'm trying this again...

I do believe that Misty has everything to do with HaLeigh and that night even if she did not incur harm to her personally. She would still be facing endangering the welfare of a child or even gross negligence manslaughter if... it were the case where HaLeigh came across a pill and Misty awoke to her deprived life. Misty strikes me as someone who is unsophisicated and callow but who lacks the intensity to keep a murder of HaLeigh outright... bottled up especially since she would have Ron as her protector from crazy Joe if that were the case. Yes, she has kept to herself for so long now becuz she obviously knows that it initially was her fault for not being awake or alert for HaLeigh to begin with. Then realizing that she couldn't tell Ron or the police, she had no choice but to involve Joe and Tommy.

They said that Joe got a ride home that night and they have articles of his clothing which contained no evidence of a crime which is obvious why they didn't detain him of anything then. But you want me to believe that Joe or whoever went there and killed HaLeigh, then makes Tommy and Misty help cover it up? ... Misty once said in a jail video that if she were to start talking, then two people would be hurt. If Joe were to have done the killing alone, he would not be hurt but rather the guilty one. If it were Ron and the real mother or HaLeigh's Gma being hurt... I fail to see that becuz they were already hurt with HaLeigh being gone to begin with. Ascertaining what resulted in that night would only add to the hurt. The way I see it is that Tommy and Joe will be the ones hurt because they came to help her out and consequently will be faced with quite a few charges brought against them. Do I believe that Joe came up with the idea of the river? Yes. Do I believe Joe took control of the situation? Yes. Since Tommy or Misty rather look ill witted to come up with the idea, most of the blame is focused on Joe. It was likely one of those "family stick together" things but it was one of those things that just wasn't going to go away that easy so they thought. I think a jury could go for this...

So with Ron testifying to who knows what he has to blab about, it may very well break Misty's silence after feeling betrayed by Ron, becuz she just might think she realllllly didn't cause HaLeigh's death but rather covered it up. In her eyes, it might not look so damaging, little does she know...

And Tommy... well he was just the tag along which is why no one seems to care about offering him a plea for some reason or they just don't want to hear it from him yet !!!!

I heard a forensic's specialist speak on how fingerprints are unique and that there is the possibility of mainting a print even from water. But who knows... they manage to preserve prints from 1000 yrs ago and dino prints, so why not this type.

Also, why is it Casey was allowed to write another inmate but not any of this crew?... I thought the only reason they made a big deal of Casey's was becuz her letters didn't go thru protocol...

Tbirdie1, It's my opinion that inmates can't correspond with each other at all, not verbally nor written. I may be wrong but that's what I understand.

Which is why I don't buy the story that Casey Anthony got Baez's name from some other inmate in the jail.

Tbirdie1, this whole Croslin-Cummings gang have been separated from day 1 for a reason, LE wants them to crack. No, they can't write letters to each other, in fact Gma Hollers said Misty was trying to get letters to Ron by mailing them to her Mother, asking her to put them into another envelope and mail them to Ron (Gma H. said she told the Mom not to do this, IF we can believe her).
I do not think Joe was invoved but was used as a scapegoat by Tommy and Misty. I think if he was involved LE would have figured out a way to have him in jail, which they did on the rest of this gang (which wasn't hard).
No longer do I think Ron is uninvolved, all these kids are/were pill freaks and if the truth ever comes out, IMO it's accidental overdose, covered up and anyone involved needs to do lots of time for it. Ron probably came up with dumping his own daughter in the St. John's River since he fished there often, what a Dad....
I pray that Haleigh was not alive when dumped into that cold, dark river...

Ya know raine1953, I agree that it might be something this pathetic father "could" do but I do not believe it is something he "would" do especially to cover up someone' else's guilt in her if so... accidential death since he was verified at work. As far as Joe not being in jail yet... they can't pinpoint his involvement without the necessary evidence to charge him. The only reason they got the rest of the gang is becuz they were stupid enough to put themselves in a window of opportunity. A drug bust... which I wouldn't doubt they've been wanting to snag them in drug selling for quite some time. Yea we all know they've been suspects from day one... but no evidence or not enough... Same thing like Susan Smith, they had to work her til she broke down and took them to the sight of her poor little helpless sons. Without concrete evidence, it won't hold up in court. The pressure of doing alot of time for their drug charges is what they are hoping will force them to come clean for a lesser charge just in the drug bust. Charges for HaLeigh will open up a whole other door to life if not death I hope.

Who knows about the letter Misty wrote...I'm hearing stories that somebody wants to sell this letter if... they can have a car to drive lol... Yea you are right about the 90 some phone calls, but IMO, he and Misty had a fight and maybe, just maybe, he was trying to call her to amend that fight and when she didn't answer after a long period of time, he started to get nervous becuz she was with HaLeigh which might explain the perpetual calling. Even if he could have told Misty to give HaLeigh something to sleep, she's dumb but not stupid... She's not going to give the little girl an oxy and there was no evidence of say benedryl and I'm just not buying that Ron had anything to do with causing his daughter harm personally other than being a loser himself to do drugs as well as his live in lover . I don't think he is the main course of this distasteful meal.

Like I said before, becuz they had no evidence on any of them, this trio actually opened up a window of opportunity with the drug bust to become arrested which pretty much keeps them where they want them to work on breaking one of them if not all concerning HaLeigh's case. And what perfect way to do that than by them facing alot of time on the drug charges. When they get around to obtaining some confessions which 'will' involve Joe, they will then be bringing him in for more questioning and start putting pressure on him to break. Right now he doesn't have to say a word becuz no 'ones made an actual break down in the events of that night. Trust me, I would bet he will be brought in sooner or later. They don't need to put Joe in jail right now... they have nothing on him or any of our charming characters. I'm sure they have a close watch on him and pretty much told him not to leave town as of yet.... I think you call it... a person of interest as opposed to a suspect.

I actually could care less about the letter... I don't think Misty again... would write a confession to Chelsey or Lindsey, whoever it was...and outright incriminate herself. If she did that... dammm these people are truly unreal...

Art Harris is the one that said there were 90 something phone calls made and that has not been proven by LE. It was more like 20. Reason being is because Misty did not want to watch the kids that night due to the 3-day bender she had been on (she was exhausted) and told Ron. They got into an argument and she turned her phone off. No one knows what transpired after that.

If you have the time, listen to the re-cast of Blog Talk Radio today. It was very interesting. I even called in and asked if any evidence was back and what is the deal with this plea deal and why I think Ron is involved.

I have thought it from day one and I have learned that the first gut response is usually right on the money.

Wrap, for clearing up the issue of the 90 phone calls, I looked for it this afternoon with no luck but didn't remember that it came from A. Harris. Now I get why LE never made lots of noise over those calls since it was more like 20.
I am sure I heard you on Blog Talk Radido today! I had already read that you said you might call in and sure enough at 3:30pm CMT, I'm fairly certain that it was you, asking about forensics and about the plea deal with Ron. If that was you, they kept you on the line quite a few minutes and I'm glad you made excellent points.
I didn't think Ron had involvement from the beginning, far from it for me but yes, I do now. I'm thinking that from the minute he spoke w/ LE from the 911 call Misty made on, that his emotions (tears, anger, threats but no questioning of where was Haleigh, who would take her, etc.) were because he DID know what happened and he was showing that he was either feeling guilty or upset at what happened (I hope I explained that right).

I guess I will have to listen to that radio station. Did they ever answer you Wrap on ur questions? I did hear that the gma went to the home at around 7:30 to bring laundry and feed the kids but no one knows what happened after that.
I don't know anymore... that whole family makes the Clampets look more classier. At this point, I guess, any one of them are capable of some wrong doing...I just wish we'd get some facts.

If you go into the Lounge, there is a jail visit between Tommy and Lindsay that is very interesting. Also, there are many taped jail conversations listed under HaLeigh Cummings in "In Loving Memory". And, Misty w/be in court today.

Thanks for the updates Wrap... I see we are really no closer in justice for HaLeigh than before still with the he said she said bs... The video with Tommy and Lindsay was interesting, although it didn't really entail any useful info with the exception it is pretty obvious both know something. Course it sounds like Tommy is playing himself as "I didn't do anything wrong" other than knock on a door and the obvious (like we didn't know that was coming) ... "my sister's a loser attitude" from Tommy.

If Lindsay is as innocent as she portrayed herself, I do kinda feel bad for her although she lost points with me when she bluntly let it be known how she treats animals. But my motto is Life is What You Make of It and if she is struggling, then move on to bettering yourself and get rid of the ones that slow you down...

I completely agree with you on what Lindsay said about the dog. I think that people that are cruel or negligent to animals could be cruel or negligent to children as well.

The only hope we have is if Misty finally tells what she knows, and I believe it involves Ron. I think she wants to be assured that if she says what really happened, that Ron will not get out of prison. This is MOO (my opinion only).

And speaking of Ron, we don't hear much about him. No jailhouse calls, no nothing. Some think he was part of the set up to get Misty arrested. I disagree with that but anything is possible.

Yea I keep wondering that myself... Why we hear so much about Misty or Tommy but you never hear anything about Ron. I use to think it was becuz it IS his daughter that tragically disappeared and obviously not alive anymore so maybe there was the given respect to privacy for that alone. I'd like to believe I can live with the fact that Ron is merely a half wit, egotistical, and a profoundly irresponsible father who obviously needed a wake up call in the real world only it resulted with the grave exception of losing a child in the midst of it all. However, to discover it could be that he had a hand in it or any knowledge thereof would be even more upsetting. Especially if little HaLeigh's eyes looked upon her dad's at any time that night.

Could it be that Ron has come to postulate this to be the extent of events of that night and considering he was aware that Misty did not want to babysit, maybe he will or finds himself guilty of failure to provide proper care for HaLeigh in the first place. Very possible he knows the truth and thinks he may be found culpable as well.
