Report: George and Cindy Anthony offered $25,000 to appear on Bubba the Love Sponge

The parents of accused murderer, Casey Anthony, have been offered $25,000 to appear on a syndicated radio show for an hour, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Sentinel reports that Bubba the Love Sponge, whose show is broadcast live in several major markets around the country, has offered the money to George and Cindy Anthony to appear on the show.
The Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway, said Bubba has not contacted him and he only became aware of the matter after being contacted by the Sentinel.

Conway said about George and Cindy “My clients are not selling interviews to people.”
Their daughter, Casey, is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

I was over at another site and one of the people who blog said that they met the Anthonys and that they were "attractive people". You know it started me thinking of how this country idolizes celebrities. No matter if you are a criminal like OJ (people still were in awe when they saw him after his trial-) asking for autographs, taking smiling pictures with him, or Tom Cruise, if you get in the papers or on TV enough - there comes with that a certain aura that make a lot of people forget exactly who these individuals actually are. I dont know if Im explaining myself well, but what Im trying to say is that I find the Anthonys anything but attractive, and Im not talking about their looks. I guess if you are on TV enough you gain this celebrity status that suddenly makes people forget your actions and regard you in a different light. I wonder if that blogger's comments will "soften" toward the Anthonys simply because they shook hands.
