Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy's Son Arrested for Selling Drugs
The PCSO has once again gone very quiet, and the fact that sheriff Jeff Hardy’s son is in jail on drug charges likely is not going to be helping matters. Of course one has to wonder about the bail amounts set. Misty Croslin has over a $million bond. The rest of the gang also face bonds that no sane person would get involved in. Even Leonard P seems to have skipped on the idea of bonding the Adams oops Croslin and Cummings family out. Jeff Hardy’s son has a simple and cheap $7000 bond.
The Adams family were not actually caught in the act of selling drugs, they were caught in the procurement phase. Oh and the drugs were being provided by the PCSO. Please do not get me wrong, the whole bunch deserve long jail sentences. Jeff Hardy’s 26 year old son was caught dealing Meth. That is not pretty. Meth is a killer. So how come Joshua Troy Imm only gets held on $7000 bond?
The charges against Joshua Troy Imm, include the sale of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Bond: $7,020.00
Misty Croslin scores a cool $mil, the big bosses son scores $7k.
If there is an explanation for this situation, I would love to hear it. Do not get me wrong, I think that Misty and the gang are in the right place, for the right reasons. But are we seeing a case of double standards?

Re: Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy's Son Arrested for Selling Drugs
East Palatka - On May 5, 2010, Detectives with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office Drug/Vice Unit conducted a narcotics operation in the parking lot of the Sunoco convenience store, located at 276 Highway 17 South, in East Palatka. The operation consisted of purchasing methamphetamine from unsuspected sellers who were being investigated for manufacturing and selling of methamphetamine. Four (4) individuals were arrested for actively participating in the sell of methamphetamine to the undercover detectives. After detaining the subjects, detectives determined that a two year-old child was awaiting the individuals inside their vehicle during the transaction. The child was released to family members, and the Florida Department of Children and Family Services was notified of the incident. The investigation also revealed that the individuals were manufacturing methamphetamine at another location in East Palatka. Detective responded to the secondary location and dismantled the active methamphetamine lab. The following individuals were arrested:
-Scott Charles Hood, DOB: 11/24/1974, was arrested and charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, production of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Bond: $16,528.00
-Johanna Leigh Smith, DOB: 4/13/1984, was arrested and charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Bond: $7,520.00
-Amanda Ashley Tomlinson, DOB: 12/20/1987, was arrested and charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Bond: $7,520.00
-Joshua Troy Imm, DOB: 1/17/1984, was arrested and charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Bond: $7,020.00
Joshua Imm is the 26 year-old son of Sheriff Jeff Hardy. Sheriff Hardy is saddened by the arrest of his son, but has directed his detectives and correctional officers to treat his son in the same manner as any other individual charged with these crimes. Sheriff Hardy wants to assure everyone that his son will not receive any special treatment because of their relationship. This is a personal family matter, and Imm who is an adult, does not reside with the Sheriff. Sheriff Hardy will of course stand beside his son in regard to these allegations and will assist him as a family member in anyway possible. Sheriff Hardy has stated that he will not become involved in the criminal prosecution, and does not want his position to influence the State Attorney's case. Sheriff Hardy is proud of the investigators who worked this case, and the fact that they didn't allow his and Imm's relationship to influence the investigation. Neither Sheriff Hardy, nor other members of the agency, will be conducting interviews concerning this arrest. He has urged that this case be handled in the same manner as other similar cases.

Re: Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy's Son Arrested for Selling Drugs
The son of Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy has been arrested, along with three others, for actively participating in the sale of methamphetamine to undercover detectives.
Joshua Troy Imm, 26, Hardy's son; Scott Charles Hood, 34; Johanna Leigh Smith, 26; Amanda Ashley Tomlinson, 22; were arrested after selling drugs to undercover officers in the parking lot of the Sunoco convenience store, at 276 Hwy. 17 South, in east Palatka.
During the investigation, detectives found that a 2-year-old was waiting inside the suspects' vehicle during the transaction. The child was released to family members, and the Florida Department of Children and Family Services was notified.
Detectives found the suspects also were manufacturing methamphetamine at a second location in Palatka. They dismantled the lab.
Imm was arrested and charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. His bond was set at just over $7,000.
Imm lives in rural Satsuma which is 15 miles east of Palatka. No one answered the door of his home today.
Across the street a man who identified himself as Imm's grandfather said he did not know what his grandson was doing, but knew of his arrest. The man declined to give his name.
A neighbor of Imm, Angela Wilson was surprised when she learned of his arrest.
"If it were my child, I would hope I'd have the sensibility to talk sense to my son. Hopefully, the sheriff can do the same," said Wilson.
Hardy said he is saddened by the arrest of his son, but directed his detectives and correctional officers to treat his son in the same manner as any other individual charged with these crimes.
Statement from the sheriff's office:
This is a personal family matter, and Imm who is an adult, does not reside with the sheriff. Whaaa???? T?
Meth dealers leaving infant inside car during drug transactions.. BIG DEAL that's something we hear about every week.
Oh the Sheriff's Son, well that just makes a whole world of difference. NOw that is news. It just makes you want to pack up all your crap and move there doesn't it?
Has anyone pondered the thought that maybe Sonny Boy is a decoy dropped into the jail to whisper through the air ducts to Tommy?
me neither.

Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy said he is saddened by the arrest of his son, Joshua Troy Imm, and will stand by the 26-year-old charged in an undercover drug sting.
Imm was arrested with three others Wednesday after detectives with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office set up a methamphetamine buy at an East Palatka convenience store. Investigators also dismantled an East Palatka lab used to make the drug.
A Sheriff's Office news release said Hardy did not expect Imm to get special treatment at the jail, and the sheriff will not take part in the prosecution. The release said Hardy is gratified investigators did not let Imm's link to the sheriff influence the investigation.
Imm, who is listed with a Satsuma address, does not live with his father.
The arrests were made in an investigation of methamphetamine sales and manufacturing that ended in the sale to undercover detectives posing as buyers in the parking lot of a Sunoco store on South U.S. 17, according to the agency.
A 2-year-old child in a car used by the suspects was turned over to family members, according to the Sheriff's Office. State child welfare workers were notified.
Imm, who is Hardy's biological son, was arrested with Scott Charles Hood, 35, Johannna Leigh Smith, 26, and Amanda Ashley Tomlinson, 22. All four were charged with sale of methamphetamine, possession of chemicals to make the drug, child neglect, maintaining a drug vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tomlinson is the child's mother, the Sheriff's Office said.
A check of Putnam County jail records did not show any previous arrests of Imm during the past three years.
Hardy took office not long before the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings from a Satsuma mobile home in February 2009. That case has received national attention and remains unsolved.
