I am placing this here for now as I am wondering if she ratted on her family to get a lighter probation. One week after she goes to court, they are all arrested. I would not put it past her, and wouldn't blame her, for turning them in.

IMHO, someone is ratting someone else out in order for them to all get out of jail within a half an hour or less.

Haleigh Cummings Update – The Croslin’s and Cummings Manage A $1,300,000 Bond Problem

Details are sketchy, but there certainly is something going on in Putnam County tonight. We have no details, but obviously the Haleigh Cummings search is taking on a new direction.

For months I have been fielding questions about why the PCSO do not do something in this case, “haul them all into jail” people screamed. The problem was that there was little that people could be charged with. Misty buying cigarettes was hardly going to be a reason to keep her incarcerated for more than a few minutes.

The one thing that we were all convinced of though was at some point they would make some egregious error. That error seems to have been made today.

Misty Croslin, Ronald Cummings, and ‘rat boy’ Hank Croslin are all behind bars. The incident was obviously drug related. But this was no minor infraction of getting busted with a joint or a couple of Oxy’s. This is major stuff.

Hank Croslin is the bronze medal winner, his bond only sits at $100,000.

Ronald Cummings comes in with the silver medal, his bond is set at a hefty $500.000.

But the gold winner is Misty Croslin, she managed to get herself a $700,000 problem.

Just another day in Putnam County!

It is often hard to relate bond allegations to the actual events, but this ‘family’ round up does seem to involve a large amount of illegal drugs. Quite honestly I would not trust any of them with a bottle of Baby Aspirins, one has to wonder who the ‘brain cell’ was that involved them?

On January 20, 2010, investigators from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, HIDTA Tri-County Drug Task Force, and the Office of the State Attorney, 7th Judicial Circuit, concluded a month-long undercover operation with the arrest of four (4) Satsuma residents and one (1) individual from Orlando for trafficking in controlled prescription medications.

During the operation, investigators made several purchases of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone medications from these individuals. Ronald Lemyles Cummings, Misty Janette Croslin, Hank Thomas “Tommy” Croslin Jr., Hope A. Sykes, and Orlando resident Donna Broch, were arrested and charged with trafficking in controlled prescription medications. If convicted as charged, Ronald Cummings, Misty Cummings, and Donna Broch, could receive a minimum mandatory sentence of twenty-five (25) years in state prison. If convicted, the other individuals can receive minimum sentences ranging from three (3) years to fifteen (15) years in state prison. An undercover Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Detective purchased large quantities of prescription medications from this group on seven (7) separate occasions. The estimated street value of prescription drugs seized is $3,900.00.

Today, the second phase of the operation was concluded. Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin purchased trafficking amounts of prescription medications from undercover investigators. Both individuals were immediately arrested and taken into custody without incident. The other individuals were arrested on active arrest warrants resulting from this investigation. The following list details the charges and bonds for the subjects involved in this case:

This operation was in response to the growing problem of the illegal sale and distribution of prescription drugs within Putnam County and surrounding areas. Prescription drug abuse is rapidly on the rise in Putnam County, and is one of the toughest crimes for law enforcement to combat. Most dealers are merchants of their own addiction, and sell these prescription medications to simply support their own habit.

Information was obtained that these individuals were unlawfully selling prescription medications in the community. Sheriff Hardy assigned detectives from the Drug/Vice Unit to the investigation. An undercover Putnam County Detective infiltrated this group, gaining the trust of these drug dealers.

Sheriff Hardy acknowledges the rise in prescription medication crimes in our community, and understands that this is a precursor to many other crimes affecting our citizens. He has instructed his investigators to not only aggressively pursue the subjects who are illegally selling prescription medications, but also the individuals who are unlawfully possessing and using these highly addictive drugs.

As stated in previous releases, investigators assigned to the Haleigh Cummings investigation will take every available opportunity to speak with any individual believed to have knowledge about Haleigh Cummings’ disappearance.

Of course they got the money to get 'em out of jail fast----they are rolling in drug money if they are all dealing! But this time, I hope for Junior's sake, they throw the book at them and they do some good time, because then junior will be removed from this environment and hopefully grow up in a safer one, not to mention that these dealers endanger countless other children with what they do.

PALAKTA, FL -- The arrests of the father and former step-mother of missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings have provided investigators an opportunity to question them about the little girl's disappearance.

Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin were arrested Wednesday night following a drug bust by several law enforcement agencies.

A total of five people were arrested after a month-long investigation. All are being charged with trafficing the drugs Hydrocodon and Oxycodon.

Misty Croslin, the former step-mother of Haleigh, faces six charges. She is being held on $950,000 bond in the St. Johns County jail.

Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, is charged with three counts. He is also being held in St. Johns County on $500,000 bond.

Hank Croslin, Misty's brother, is charged with one count. Croslin is in the Putnam County jail on $100,000 bond.

Ronald's cousin, Hope Sykes was also arrested.

The investigation began after the Putnam County Sheriffs Office received a tip that the group was involved in drug trafficking.

A total of seven buys took place in both St. Johns and Putnam Counties.

The PCSO said that the arrests create an opportunity for investigators to talk to the group about the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.

Deputies took Misty and Ronald to St. Johns County because the charges originate there.

The news has been breaking fast tonight. We are still trying to figure out what is going on. We do know that several people are in jail, and that they are accused of serious drug trafficking crimes.

For the past while we have been slammed with questions concerning the situation of Misty Croslin, Hank Croslin, and Ronald Cummings, according to the PCSO web site they are no longer in custody. That is true, my sources now have them in a different county I am being told St Johns.

There is a big question in my mind about the Donna Broch(k) mentioned in the press release. Well folks, I can tell you that yes, this is the same Donna Brock that took Misty Cummings off for a vacation in Orlando that Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch (TES) bankrolled. Miller has been somewhat cagey talking about Donna Brock, it is not clear if she was acting as an employee or a volunteer at the time. However he does admit that it was his money that paid for the adventure.

At $250,000 in bond, I would say this lady has a problem.

There have been some stories swirling aroung about TES for some time. Most of us have opted to avoid the stories. His war chest is large, and ours is not. But, one has to wonder why he would have selected Donna Brock to be Misty’s best friend? This latest revelation unfortunately adds credibility to some things that have been drifting around the ether….

Had just been wondering why we haven't heard a thing about the Haleigh case lately----'twas just the calm before the storm!----Wow! This is huge!

It makes me wonder WHY Tim Miller chose her to befriend Misty?? Just what is going on? And really, I am so damned happy and relieved that Misty is in the slammer, I don't know what to do with myself!!! I don't care what they offer her..offer her the moon and the sun, anything to make her talk. Anything!!!

So far, I don't see Ron has been booked in yet. But, it would seem that they were all involved in this together. I bet they will be having some major withdrawls in jail. I love it!!

While police in Putnam County led the investigation, most of the alleged drug transactions were in St. Johns County, meaning the suspects would be prosecuted in St. Johns, said Sgt. Chuck Mulligan, a spokesman for the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

“It’s truly a Putnam County investigation,” Mulligan said, adding that he did not know when or where the alleged drug deals took place.

Prescription drug abuse is “rapidly on the rise in the Putnam County, and is one of the toughest crimes for law enforcement to combat,” the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said in the release, sent to reporters by department spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood.

“Information was obtained that these individuals were unlawfully selling prescription medications in the community,” the release said. “Sheriff (Jeff Hardy) assigned detectives from the Drug/Vice Unit to the investigation. An undercover Putnam County Detective infiltrated this group, gaining the trust of these drug dealers.”

While the Sheriff’s Office did not connect the alleged drug ring and the disappearance of HaLeigh, the following was added to the bottom of the release:

“As stated in previous releases, investigators assigned to the Haleigh Cummings investigation will take every available opportunity to speak with any individual believed to have knowledge about Haleigh Cummings' disappearance."

Wow! If Misty and Donna are convicted they face a minimum mandatory 25 year sentence.

I know!!! I am kind of shocked at Tim Miller..that he would pay for Donna to keep and eye out on Misty. I bet they were doing drugs the entire time. Something is fishy with this and this is probably going to give Tim Miller a bad reputation.

Also, there is something hinky going on w/Ron's bond or lack thereof. It says zero bond and "hold for corrections". That usually means prison. Now, there is no way LE could move that fast. I am wondering why they put him in Flagler County which is not that close to Putnum (it's on the ocean). I understand why they put Misty and Hank, Jr. in St. John's County as that is apparently where they were doing their buying and selling.

I am happy they are keeping Ron and Misty in separate counties at least.

I will be keeping an eye on the Flagler County jail logs to see if Ron is moved or given a bond.

Sigh of relief. Thank GOD. To bad the bond aren't higher though. I am so sick of scum like this finding a way to weasel out. I will always think HaLeigh was exchanged for drugs or taken by someone they had ripped off.

Maybe Tim knew what Donna was like and thought that she would help Misty get into something for which they could arrest her and put the pressure on her? He was willing to finance ANYTHING that would help find out what happened to Haleigh. That's kinda far-fetched, but it has happened. Those poor children...What a life they must have led...These drugged-out low-lifes supposedly taking care of them...

I dont know what to make of all this but i feel theres some drug money being shuffled in Putnam Co. and this is just the beginning of these arest. More to come. I DO PRAY.

Sykes is NOT showing up in St Johns. The page shows all arrests in the last 24 hours.

Cummings, Misty Croslin and Hank Croslin Jr. were released from the Putnam County jail late Wednesday, according to jail records. Sykes remained in custody at the facility. More details about Broch's arrest were not immediately available.
