Motion to supress autopsy report denied by Judge
Interesting video if you can watch it - Judge Strickland denied the motion to supress the autopy findings - they should be released today. There was one very interesting thing,
George and Cindy were sitting with a very good vantage point for the camera - at one point Cindy reached over and tried to hold George's hand and he shook it off and didnt look at her. Before the judge was finished George jumped up and left the court not
waiting for Cindy.
Baez stood up and tried to make his usual bumbling motion which the judge shot down almost immediately. So autopsy findings will be released as soon as the media can deciminate them to the public.

Re: Motion to supress autopsy report denied by Judge
Hey art,
Yea, I caught that too. Baez makes me furious. he seems to think the laws don't apply to his client. I TOTALLY agree with the judge's ruling.
Did you catch Cindy try to hold George's hand and he ripped it away and put it on the other side of his body? It was TOTALLY evident. Wonder what that was about. Then there's SINdy mumbling under her breath and shaking her head the entire time the judge is talking. They really need to tone down their reactions. He IS the judge who will decide their daughter's fate and be in control when they testify at her trial.
Then George walks out all mad. I wonder if they'll speak afterwards. you know Conway will. AND Baez OF COURSE!

If someone finds an after-interview of any of them please post it!
Yes something up between Cindy and George or else its just Georges famous temper getting away from him - but why take it out on Cindy and in public? Something more there maybe

Yes, art, the dynamics in the courtroom today blew my mind.
Something is def up. I think Conway knew to put GA up there in front of the judge instead of Cindy because she is so abrasive and GA is more sympathetic.
Things are definitely falling apart.
Why was Baez even there? This was Conways motion?

Cindy was laughing with a man sitting next to her in court one minute and crying the next. She has become quite the actress. If it's true what was said on the live feed thread that someone heard conway say "it might hurt the foundation" , then I'm gonna blow!

Really??? Where or who said that? I will be right next to you, blowing my stack too. I don't doubt he said it all, if he did. Also, who was that guy sitting next to SINdy?
Sorry Art, I didn't see you had put in your original post about George ripping his hand away from SINdy. I was so ripped about it, I missed it in your post. I do wonder what is going on with those two.
However, I don't buy for one minute, George's fake crying. I'm sorry I don't! Anyone else notice, he was able to turn "it off" immediately too? I just think they have been so fake, and lied so much, I can't see any emotion or anything they say anymore, as genuine. I think it's all a huge PLAY for them. They are always "ON". I think they see themselves as having WAY bigger roles than they actually do or should, in this entire saga. They really should just STFU and stay home. PERIOD! They are making things worse for their daughter. I can honestly see Baez's frustration with them. However, let them keep blabbing and maybe, just maybe more of the truth will eventually come out. We have a loooong way to go for trial, especially if they don't get out of the spotlight.

The judge said he was fine with the documents being released today. With that, George Anthony stormed out of the courtroom.
After the hearing, Conway said the autopsy report is very specific and that the Anthonys have not read the document.
"Because of the advanced state of decomposition that the coroner was dealing with, there was very little to work with. It was very thorough, but it doesn't answer any questions. What it does do is leave speculation open for everybody that wants to decide what did or what didn't happen," Conway said.
He said the public is going to talk endlessly about the duct tape found on Caylee's skull, which was mentioned in reports released earlier

Tracey, on the live feed thread we were following (other thread this morning about autopsy being released) someone stated that they THOUGHT they heard Conway say that at the end of the proceeding, and was going to listen over again where it was taped. Then will let us know.

Re: Motion to supress autopsy report denied by Judge
What Conway said was in response to the other attorneys question to George about all their TV interviews - Conway tried to tell the Judge that the Ants were on TV talking about their foundation - not autopsy reports and the Judge shot him down and made him stop. Conway and no one else said it would hurt the foundation.

Im still not clear if the x-rays will be shown. Does anyone know if they will show x-rays?

Re: Motion to supress autopsy report denied by Judge
art, I do not believe that the x-rays will be released...I think that Bozo and the other attorney agreed some time back that they would not.
It was so obvious what Bozo had up his sleeve with this....I think he put Conway up to it. Why was he even there?

art, I'm pretty sure I heard the judge say no pics, no x-rays today in court, but cannot swear to it.

Re: Motion to supress autopsy report denied by Judge
I think the line was drawn a while ago about pictures or x-rays being released and his answer was no. After viewing the autopsy record I see why they did not want them released. Any doubts I had about when Caylee was dumped there were laid to rest. I always believed in my heart she was there the whole time. I was more concerned with a juror having any doubts. I am still PO'd that no one found her sooner before animals picked her body apart. Caylee deserved so much better than this.

Earnhardt law reverses access to open records
By Catherine J. Cameron
Over the past several months, the Orlando Sentinel weathered criticism of its efforts to have an expert view the autopsy photographs of Dale Earnhardt to investigate the safety issues involved in a rash of NASCAR crash deaths over the last four years. After defending itself to members of the press and the public, the Sentinel not only won its fight for access, but provided the public with a valuable insight into NASCAR safety that may ultimately save lives.

Re: Motion to supress autopsy report denied by Judge
My fiance died almost 2 years ago in Florida (suicide). Because I never got to see his body and there was no "viewing" and no embalming (Jewish faith forbids it), I had some real issues with "closure" and his death being "real" to me. I obtained his autopsy and toxicology reports from the ME but learned that because of the law passed after Earnhardt's death, photos and videos taken during autopsy or any at all taken by the ME's office are not a matter of public record like the autopsy report is. A surviving spouse may view the photos in-person at the ME's office and may make a copy of photos, videos or audio recordings of the autopsy.
I found that the photos taken by LE at the scene of his death ARE considered public records (part of the police report and file) and CAN be obtained by anyone once the investigation is complete and the case is closed out. My first request for the report and photos was denied because the file hadn't been "officially" closed out yet. I waited a month and then made my request again and I had the full file (not just the official report - you must specify this) plus the crime scene photos that were taken by LE that night.
According to FL law, I would think that once the trial is over and this case is closed out "officially", the crime scene photos will be available to anyone who wants them, as they will then be part of a public record.

Subject: Records, accident scene photos
The Honorable Evelyn J. Lynn
Senator, District 7
536 North Halifax Avenue
Suite 101
Daytona Beach, Florida 32118
Dear Senator Lynn:
This is in response to your request for an opinion on behalf of a constituent as to whether photographs taken by the medical examiner's investigator at the site of an automobile accident are exempt from disclosure under Florida's Public Records Law. The medical examiner's office has advised the individual that the photographs are protected from disclosure pursuant to section 406.135, Florida Statutes.
Section 406.135(2), Florida Statutes, states:
"A photograph or video or audio recording of an autopsy held by a medical examiner is confidential and exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution, except that a surviving spouse may view and copy a photograph or video recording or listen to or copy an audio recording of the deceased spouse's autopsy. . ."
For purposes of section 406.135, the term "medical examiner" includes any district medical examiner, or substitute medical examiner acting pursuant to Chapter 406, as well as any "employee, deputy, or agent of a medical examiner or any other person who may obtain possession of a photograph or audio or video recording of an autopsy in the course of assisting a medical examiner in the performance of his or her official duties."[1]
This office has previously addressed the question of whether the exemption in section 406.135, Florida Statutes, includes crime scene photographs, pre-autopsy photographs of the body, and post-autopsy photographs of the body that are in the custody of the medical examiner. In Attorney General Opinion 2001-47, it was concluded that since the exemption by its terms applies only to "autopsy photographs or video or audio recordings," crime scene photographs are not included within the scope of the exemption. However, it was found that the exemption would apply to photographs and recordings taken or made by the medical examiner as a part of the autopsy process, including those taken before, during, and after the medical examiner performs the actual autopsy procedure. A copy of the opinion is enclosed for your review.
I trust this will be of assistance to you.
Sincerely,
Lagran Saunders
Assistant Attorney General
