I think Casey was "Already Gone" a long time ago. Wonder how the jury will perceive her demeaner?

We're back...I hope they finish up with this soon and move on to something else! I'm tired of this one...LOL

Defense wants this evidence thrown out soooo bad because they know it's damning to their case. I hope ultimately it's allowed in. This lady is annoying me. Can't imagine her droning on and on in the trial. Ugh.

I heard that Jeff Ashton got the first use of DNA as evidence into a trial many years ago in Florida. I think as far as the prosecution is organized he will be the one to dispute all the defense experts.

The defense has to have something other than scientific evidence to present in Caseys defense. Just
as we find our eyes glazing over so will a jurys. More important will be the evidence that JP ruled on last week, statements and testimony of the Anthonys and LE will convict her easily IMO

Sims is trying to attack the witness's reputation in her field...How many people will KC try to smear before this is all over?

KC looks so lost...This is so over her head. She can't spell the big words.

I think at the trial Baez has to stop Casey from pretending shes a lawyer and sit still and pay attention. Her complete indifference to the subject at hand which relates to her contention that someone else murdered her daughter is absolutely going to turn a jury off. If she were innocent she would be hearing and paying attention to every word.

I wonder if she ever thinks about standing up and yelling:
"Let's just forget all this! I did it!"

She can't spell the big words so she draws little pictures. LOL. She had some stuff scribbled on a piece of yellow paper she handed Sims and Sims just tucked it into her folder w/out looking at it, as if it was not important at all. What could Casey possibly have to add to the conversation??? How cold she even wrap her pea-brain around an intelligent question??

Background noise sounds like THE BEAST. Maybe it's emminating from Casey herself. LOL

The witness doesn't have all the pages from her deposition so Sims is having to read it to her...

Isn't she asking the same things over and over?

JA thinks the same thing: "Objection, asked and answered!" Sustained...

This woman is determined to make this witness say what she wants her to! If I were JP, this would make me rule against her!

I can tell that JP is getting impatient with this ...

Hair was preserved so that a defense expert could examine it, BUT they are not going to call him...So, evidently they didn't like the results he came up with!

EXACTLY!!

She's finally through! There was some vagueness in whether they were going to refile parts of the motion that weren't covered under Frye. Isn't the deadline for those kinds of motions past?
JA is re-directing.

Does anybody know if the death band evidence is generally accepted in courts? Or is this the first time that
they are trying to use it?

Earlier she was bringing up something that JP said was not part of the Frye hearings today, and told her they would have to file a motion to discuss that. Maybe that's what they appeared to be setting up another hearing for. Good Heavens they will be having hearings all the way up to the day of the trial if this continues.

Canine alerts after lunch. I think this is the one that Yuri Melich has to testify at..Request for additional funds from JAC is up now...Medina for the defense. Requesting more funds for investigator for 300 more hours..Granted.

They want 300 more hours investigation time. It was granted.

I won't be here for the start of the hearing after lunch break. I hope to back on line for some of the afternoon hearing.

Bozo has a "logistical request"...They are at sidebar. By the way, what happened to the defense sitting at the table at the side so that no one could "eveasdrop" on them..Just CM blowing hot air again!
