HOUSTON – An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a 20-month-old Houston girl who was abducted by her biological father from a Chuck E. Cheese in Humble, police said.

Savannah Scheideler was taken by her father, Gregory Vincent Daniels, from the restaurant on FM 1960 around 7:05 p.m., according to investigators.

Scheideler is described as a white female with red, shoulder-length hair. Her hair is straight on the top and curly on the bottom. She weighs 27 pounds and is about 33 inches tall.

Investigators said Scheideler was very sick when she was abducted. She had pinkeye in both eyes, an ear infection in both ears, an upper respiratory infection and a severe cough.

She was last seen wearing a blue, plaid long-sleeve shirt with a studded silver heart on the front pocket. She also had on blue jeans, black shoes, a gold earring in her left ear and was carrying a pink princess blanket.
Investigators said Daniels, a 31-year-old black male, was last seen putting the little girl in the back seat of a black or dark-colored, four-door sedan – possibly a Ford Taurus.

The Taurus was being driving by another, unidentified person.

Investigators said though Daniels is Scheideler’s biological father, he has a history of violence and no custodial rights to the child.

Police said Daniels is currently in violation of a temporary restraining order and is allowed only limited, supervised visitation with Scheideler.

Attorney Bianca Santorini, who represents Scheideler's mother, said Daniels was allowed two supervised visits over the weekend with his daughter, per an agreement reached in mediation on Friday.

After the Saturday visit, Scheideler’s mother took her to urgent care, because she was so sick.

Santorini said Daniels was informed about her condition, but he wanted to go through with the second visit on Sunday anyway.

Once they got to the Chuck E. Cheese, Daniels reportedly told the visitation supervisor that he had a present for the little girl in his car.

The supervisor said they weren’t comfortable with Daniels taking her outside, but as the supervisor reached for the girl, Daniels scooped her up, left the restaurant, put her in the car and took off.

Daniels is described as having a light complexion, a bald head and an unshaven face. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

Daniels was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white dress shirt.

Police said he’s known to have a friend in the Spring area.

Anyone with information on the missing child or the suspect is asked to immediately call police or the Harris County District Attorney’s Office at 713-755-5892.

WTH was this child doing out if she was so sick???? The visitation supervisor should have insisted she not go out!!!

HUMBLE, Texas - A missing 20-month-old girl has been found after an Amber Alert was issued Sunday night.

Savannah Skye Scheideler was found in Montgomery County and is in the custody of county law officers.

HOUSTON – Charges have been dismissed against a Houston area dad who was accused of kidnapping his daughter from a Chuck E. Cheese in Humble late last year.
An Amber Alert was issued for 20-month-old Savannah Scheideler on Dec. 19, 2011.
Gregory Vincent Daniels was with Savannah at the pizza restaurant. When they left, an Amber Alert was issued.
Daniels returned his daughter the following day and surrendered. Savannah was reunited with her mother in The Woodlands.
Daniels was charged with kidnapping, but the charges were later dropped when he provided evidence that he has joint custody of his daughter.

I'm confused. I don't think these articles are about the same girl, are they? Savannah Gage or Scheideler?

The video said that this was a supervised visit...Why would he have to have a supervised visit if they had JOINT custody?
