Have you seen David Soto?
Police in California are asking for information about a Wildomar teen with autism who was reported missing Wednesday by his parents.
David Soto, 17, left his home in the 34300 block of Chloe Court at about 4 p.m. yesterday, according to Riverside County sheriff's Cpl. Angel Ramos,
"He had his Halloween costume with him and said he was going to walk around," Ramos told The Huffington Post.
"We conducted searches for him yesterday and are continuing those search efforts today," he added.
Soto has the developmental age of a 10 year old, but is highly functioning, police said.
According to Temecula Patch, Wildomar City Councilwoman Bridgette Moore has posted a message on her Facebook page advising that volunteers can join the search.
"If you want to volunteer to help find missing teen David Soto please call... 951-245-3301 and ask [for] your name to be put on volunteer list," Moore posted.
Authorities have not yet released information on Soto's height or weight. Ramos said they expect to share those details, as well as additional photos, later today. The teen was last seen wearing a Lakers jersey, Lakers sneakers and was carrying a pirate Halloween costume.
Anyone with information on David Soto’s whereabouts is asked to call the Riverside County Sheriff's Office at 800-950-2444.
