I highly doubt Billie downloaded porn at work. It is true we don't know what happened to Hailey. I have wondered often why they were going to be speaking on behalf of human trafficking.

From what I understand..from blogs and rumors..the dinner was originally being put on as an appreciation dinner for all the searchers. It was at the American Legion Hall and I believe the women from the Legion were preparing.

All searchers were invited to attend. And in my mind it would have been a very nice gesture for the family of Hailey to be there at the dinner and thank those searching.

My guess is that the Haileys Angels group inserted themselves to have some kind of program. Remember these gals had been searching from right at the beginning and had received absolutely no recognition from anybody. Other than Clint at the bridge that one day in the video.

I don't know them from Adam but I think they were feeling a bit..unappreciated when all the big horses rode into town. The media was all a buzz and they all had their tshirts on and it was a big day in Colorado City.

So I imagine the Haileys Angels kind of took over the evening showing what they had been doing and where they had been searching. I believe it was pretty vivid. Lots of bad places in the search. In streams, in gullys, in abandoned cars.

Billie and Clint were there and after watching the video for quite some time..decided they had had enough. So they stepped outside. Somebody came outside and they said..we have had enough. We want to believe Hailey is alive and this video is making us sad and angry. So the person that asked them what was wrong went inside and asked that the video be turned off.

According to the Angels there was a big thank you at the end for all the Search teams in that weekend that did not get played because of shutting it down early.

Evidently some spirts were enjoyed that evening in CC and the crowd got a bit frisky. So all the thank you's might have got mixed up a bit with the hate you's.

As I said this is mostly what I have read on the blogs. Could be right and could be wrong. Just being the messenger. lol

If she hadn't downloaded and printed hundreds of pages about rape, torture, and murder at work, I'd highly doubt she'd dowloaded porn at work too. Since she did in fact do so (and admits it), I wouldn't be surprised. We shall see...

TBT this all makes me wonder if there was a computer in the house. Remember BD met SA on the web. Also Hailey did a lot of Facebook posting.

I always thought it mighty unusual this home did not have a computer with four..users.

I wonder if BD got rid of her computer ...pronto and that is why she said "no computer at my house".

If they find that she used hospital computers to download porn for her boy toy...that should really be lights out on that job.

Yep Jeanne, she either hooked up with Shawn on MySpace (if it's true that's how they met) via home computer or work computer. I don't believe she would have done so from the library computer that some say Hailey might have used. I'd really like to know if she had a home computer and internet access in the past. If so, when and why were they removed?

The memory stick was taken from the master bedroom in Hailey's mom's house in Colorado City. That memory stick contained 320 pornographic images and videos.

Another court document says more than 108,000 images were found on a computer taken from Shawn Adkins' mother's house in Big Spring. Shawn Adkins is the boyfriend of Hailey Dunn's mother.

Those pictures depicted "deviant acts" according to the documents. Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs tells NewsWest 9, those images included child pornography and bestiality.

Sheriff Toombs tells NewsWest 9, Hailey was not in any pictures on the seized computer.

Just released:

The father of Hailey Dunn has released a statement through family members concerning the discovery of child pornography in connection with the investigation into the 13-year-old's disappearance.
Clint Dunn was not available for on-camera comment Friday, so he released the following:

"With regard to this evidence and digital computer information, we want to reserve comment on that until further investigation and information is made available by law enforcement. We understand it is a hot topic and everyone wants to know about. We appreciate what you guys are doing in the news, but we still have small children not shielded from these things. We don't want anymore information drawn to them as we have to."

The statement was released via family member Richard Cooper. Cooper is married to Clint Dunn's sister.

Currently, no arrests have been made concerning the new discovery.

Some of these cell phones allows one to access the computer and the smart phones can do more. I don't have one of those cells so someone else would be better to explain this. Perhaps that is how Billie used the computer at her home.

If she did have a computer in the home and got rid of it pronto then all LE has to do is verify that with the provider that she went thru'.

Marc Klaas is coming down on Billie Dunn for holding back back on information; she should be ashamed of herself. He's saying he doesn't think Billie Dunn harmed her daughter, but it's possible. She didn't follow Klaas Kids advice to tell the truth from the start.

I agree lindamarie. He and Jean C both basically admitted they were duped by Billie at first...

They also said on NG according to Texas Statutes Possible charges are Possession of child porn is a 2nd or 3rd degree felony. If found guilty, can have a sentence of 2-20 years.

I'm really liking Paul Penzone (sp), the investigative commentator who guests often when Jean C hosts. He said he was concerned about Billie from the start because she lied about drugs, another common interest she shared with Shawn.

He also said there is only one vicitm here, Hailey Dunn. Right on...

Jean C confirmed that Shawn was deceptive in poly on knowing whereabouts of Hailey Dunn; Billie was deceptive about having knowledge/helping...

Investigators are working with DA to possibly bring porn charges to a Grand Jury. LE has to put pieces together on where the files were downloaded and the sources...

Hailey Dunn's case returned to the national headlines Friday on HLN's "Nancy Grace" show.
Marc Klaas, the father of a murder victim who visited Colorado City earlier this year, said Hailey's mother should be ashamed of herself. Klaas said Billie Dunn held back information from law enforcement about pornography being in her home.

Klaas is the creator of Klaaskids, a group that's helped lead and organize search efforts for the missing 13-year-old Colorado City teen.

"I think everything is open for question," added Klaas.

Klaas said he doesn't believe Billie Dunn is clueless and was likely aware of what was happening in her home. Klaas said he's "stunned" by the new developments in the case.

Throughout the broadcast, the "Nancy Grace" show played numerous video clips you've seen on KTAB and KRBC over the past few weeks and updated nationwide viewers on recent developments in the case. It's been numerous weeks since "Nancy Grace" covered Hailey's case.

TruTV's Jean Casarez filled in on the anchor desk for Grace Friday.

Reporter Michael Board described the nature of the pornographic images discovered on a Dell computer in the home of Shawn Adkins' mother as well as a memory stick confiscated from Billie Dunn's home. Board noted the images included child porn and bestiality.

Board reported the case will likely go to a grand jury. Board went on to say Shawn Adkins and Billie Dunn could face anywhere from 2-20 years behind bars if convicted of a crime related to the child pornography discovery.

In response to why an arrest hadn't been made on child pornography charges, defense attorney Joey Jackson said strategy may be involved.

"Look, we need to keep our eye on the prize," said Jackson. "If the prize is finding and detecting where Hailey is, then perhaps they should exercise some restraint until they're absolutely sure. Ultimately, the police will do what's just and what's right and what's appropriate."

Reporter Michael Board also cited a Colorado City spokesperson as telling him four landfills across the Big Country have been searched in this case. Board reported no evidence had been discovered.

Hailey Dunn reportedly vanished December 27, 2010. Sunday marks two months since she disappeared from her home in Colorado City.

I just got off the phone with the Scurry County Sherrif's Department jail. I spoke to the arresting Officer, Deputy Dwayne Robertson. I was informed that Connie Ostrander was arrested today for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He would not state if the charges were felony or misdemeanor. He stated in No uncertain terms that this arrest has absolutely nothing to do with the Hailey Dunn case..that her bond has not been set yet..she w/see a magistrate court judge tomorrow.

I need a cig.

Pretty much what I assumed they would say wrapitup and although it may not directly be involved with Hailey's case, I'm sure it's making those close to her pretty uncomfortable right about now.

I always wondered if Billie told LE she and Shawn went to the ATM on 12/27 p.m. to get drug money and then went to her mom's because she was buying scripts from her mom and/or her brother (hers and Shawn's cell phones would place them there). They went to the ATM and straight to Billie's mom's house; stayed for 15 minutes or less. Hmmm.. And, remember Shawn's 911 call on 2/14/10? He said Billie was at her mom's house, gave her mom's name and address, and accused Billie of having his Klonopin scripts. He threw Billie's brother in to the mix too. I think drugs was at the heart of all of those 911 calls that day... Shawn wasn't only trying to get back at Billie for whatever their ignorant drama was about, he was trying to get her family busted, imo. He likes threatening people's families...

This is MOO re: Connie Ostrander. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The Deputy went to great lengths (and with aggravation in his voice) that the charge has Nothing to do with the Hailey Dunn case.

Shawn: Okay, well – I have a situation on my hands. I have an ex-girlfriend and she’s taken a whole bunch of klonopin, it’s like an anxiety pill that I take. I guess she got them from me. I guess she, like, took a bunch of her pain pills too, and she’s saying that she wants to die and she don’t care about life and all this bull-crap. So, I don’t know what to do.

After giving some personal information to the dispatcher, Adkins continues about the current situation.

Shawn: Yeah, we had a big blowup today and one of the officers had to get involved in it.

Dispatch: In Big Spring?

Shawn: Uh, no, no… over the cell phone. And uh, so she file a report on me, you know, for threats and stuff like that. (unintelligible) between her, her brother, and myself. Now, I don’t know, she’s just upset about it. And she’s just, you know, just not being herself right now. I’m just really worried about her right now.

Towards the end of the call, the dispatcher tells Adkins he has a warrant for his arrest. Adkins confirms that he's aware. The Scurry County Sheriff's Office says this stems from a 2009 public intoxication arrest in Snyder.

The three 911 previous calls, released by KTAB News and obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, refer to threats made against Billie and her estranged husband, Clint, but not against Hailey. (link to listen to all three 911 calls)

From 01/06 Search Warrant Affidavit:
During the investigation into the whereabouts of Shawn ADKINS and Billie DUNN during the time that Hailey DUNN disappeared it was determined by investigators that Shawn ADKINS and Billie DUNN had made two withdraws from a ATM machine in Snyder, Scurry County, Texas on Monday December 27th at 6:19PM and 6:20PM.

The first withdrawal was for $60.00 and the second withdrawal was for $80.00.

It was determined through the voluntary interview and voluntary admission of Billie DUNN that the money was used to purchase illegal narcotics from a person in Scurry County, Texas.

DUNN admitted that the illegal narcotics were for Adkins and herself.

Scurry County Sheriff's Office confirms to KTXS News that Connie Ostrander, the grandmother of missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn, has been arrested on drug charges.
They tell us 49-year-old Ostrander is in the Snyder Jail facing drug charges. She is Hailey Dunn's grandmother and Billie Jean Dunn's mother and was arrested just after 2 p.m. Friday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
She has not been charged with anything in connection with Hailey's disappearance and no bond has been set on the drug charges.
