This Krystal Halloway thing. I just don't know what to think. She and her sister have quite the criminal backgrounds.
Did GA have an affair? I find it ironic she will be a witness for the defense. Could she be bought and paid for? I say yes she could have been hired to get close to GA.

Holloway's statement that GA told her "It was an accident that snowballed out of control" is the crux of this ridiculous defense. Ever since it came out that he told her this, I've wondered if KC had actually told them this or if it was just his speculation. Or even if he really told her that.

I think GA and CA knew Caylee was deceased and believed KC when she said it was an accident that snowballed out of control. Here is a link about Krystal's suicide attempt.

Oh, I remember, she is the elderly lady that is going to testify about the vegetation. If I remember correctly, she talked in circles in her deposition. I'm sure that JA is ready for her.

She was going to refute David Hall's testimony, but the State didn't call him. He was the guy that was going to testify about the root growth in and through the remains.

Tony Pipitone of WKMG-Channel 6 is at it again: He offered an interview last night with another potential defense witness in the Casey Anthony trial.
Last week investigative reporter Pipitone talked to Dr. Werner Spitz before the forensic pathologist took the stand. Prosecutor Jeff Ashton in court Saturday even referred to Pipitone’s interview when cross examining Spitz. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

This week, Pipitone talked to Krystal Holloway, the alleged mistress of George Anthony. (Holloway is also known as River Cruz.)

In his opening statement, defense attorney Jose Baez drew on Holloway’s claim that George Anthony said Caylee’s death was an accident that snowballed out of control. She says he told her that in November 2008 before the toddler’s remains were found in December of that year.

George Anthony has testified that he didn’t know his granddaughter’s death was an accident. He also has denied an affair with Holloway. WKMG legal analyst Mark O’Mara said the defense could use Holloway’s testimony to impeach George.

But Holloway disputes the defense claim that George Anthony pulled Caylee’s dead body from the family’s pool, and Holloway doesn’t believe the claim that George sexually molested Casey for years. “It was ridiculous,” Holloway told Pipitone. “My jaw dropped. I could not believe that came out.”

How good a witness could Holloway be? Holloway denied to investigators that she had an affair with George Anthony. But, now, she is telling Pipitone that she did have an intimate affair with him.

It’s pretty clear that the defense and prosecution are following Pipitone’s interviews. What interview will he score next?

Are you prepared to render an opinion on when Caylee's body was placed where it was found? Bock says "a couple weeks before". In her deposition she answered the question with a NO.
Now she says she doesn't know when it was placed there. She answered today that it is possible it was placed there a couple weeks before OR much longer. She's IMHO not a very good witness.

Def. witnesses seem to have an agenda. They answer defensively only trying to help prove the Defenses position. While the Pros. witnesses seemed much more vague in their answers. Except for Dr G. IMO she is the only Pros. witness that seemed sure of herself.

It seems to me, some of the defense witnesses are a bit wishy washy with their answers. Some try to hard to fit their testimony with what the defense wants them to say, while telling the truth at the same time.

I disagree, I think your nerves/worries are just getting the better of you, understandibly. I think the state's witness answered truthfully and clearly. They based all their opinions and conclusions on scientific evidence. The defense have conclusions they NEED to make. This new witness trying to claim there is evidence that the remains could have been there for as little as 2 weeks is beyond absurb and the jury will not buy it!
