She has a confused expression and is struggling with the questions because she knows these are the moments where she can get trapped up in her lies.
God we've waited all day to hear her talking about the time of the murder and now court is OVER!

Jodi didn't only take one shower that day. She took a second shower late that day.......in the same shower that she placed Travis' body after she killed him, as Martinez put it.

Those pics on that "link" were shown in court before we ever saw them. Those aren't the pictures. We just didn't know that they had been shown because they weren't shown on tv like other pieces of evidence are show to us on the monitors.

Right, but Dr. Drew and HLN and the media in general have not, to my knowledge, shown them on their programs. I could be wrong though, would not be the first time.

Thanks for posting the YT videos, I have to go catch up. I had to leave when they were arguing about gas cans and receipts and just got back now.
Wow, on bringing up Jodi's 2nd shower! (But if this was after she killed Travis - how would she remember having taken one then??)

Brian Carr says that Jodi said she thinks there's going to be a mistrial......she'll have another trial and she'll be found guilty of manslaughter and get 5 years parole.

Someone on JVM said the bad thing about not remembering anything about the murder is that the prosecutor gets to fill in the blanks and HE WILL DO THAT tomorrow.
Get a good nights sleep, Jodi, and eat all your breakfast. You're gonna have a rough tomorrow!

A report from one of the people attending the trial on what she observed about the jurors, with small descriptions of each one. (It makes me nervous that people are doing this, because I would think if the defense read this it would be another "grounds for mistrial" situation.)
Post by our member, Sandra Huskey-Matthews (from Justice for Travis fb page):
"First off, I want to say, I have no experience in juries, I also don't want to argue. Many of my own observations seem to contradict what I have read that others have had,
Also I have no degree that makes my opinion worth more then other peoples.I have, over 10 yrs, first went to school with the idea I would be a social worker, after 7 social welfare and psychology classes, I realized I have to hard of a time accepting "not my fault" and so that was not going to work out.I then took every journalism and judicial studies class that our local community college offered , about 10 in total. I also took English, writing, fiction writing, biography writing, creative writing, American history, many computer classes, and many others, all required classes for a associates degree in general studies except math. Without math, I didnot get a degree.
I have also raised 4 children to adulthood and worked for 6 yrs in a Title I school, after passing the testing was able to teach small groups of title I students mostly in grade 3, (in my opinion, the lying grade) also 5th and 6th. Also was librarian for the school for a while. Title I students are those who are at least 2 yrs behind in math and/or reading.
So with that out of the way, I say once again, I am underqualified to observe professionally, and am not saying the people who saw things differently are wrong. So please don't read this and then say how wrong I am.
My overall observation, is that the jury (when I was there) was very attentive to what was going on. I also feel that they are not favoring Jodi.
I, for notetaking ease, assigned a letter to each juror right away and made a chart so I could easily identify in my notes. Also my age estimates are just that, my own estimation. Also any description I give means nothing more then what I saw. I also realized when I got home, that Except for A, J, and H, though I remember the others, I can not say who was what. A and J were definately white men, and H appeared to be Native American.
Back to front, left to right. (I do not know if they maintain the same order each day, though I think they might) and this is how I will refer to them. Also there were some jurors that I could not see most of the time. I will identify which ones. When I saw All Jurors, it is all that I had a view of at that time. Some jurors I only saw when people in front of me shifted etc, so what I write is not implying thats the only time they were attentive.
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I
J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R
All - Pay close attention when mugshot testimony and 48 hours explanation. Seem to be listening closely on the incident of Jodi being in Tavis' house and falling asleep on his "lovesack" while he out with Mimi. They as a group seem unhappy with Nurmi's outbust around this time. A few watch Nurmi closely as he inspects the dvd evidence, look agitated.
Front row (most of them) are tracking back and forth between Jodi and Juan when the testimony is about her moving to AZ. Looks almost as if they are watching a ping pong game, for at least a couple of minutes. Many of them are leaning forward and most are writing.
"A" is a Male, 50ish baldingLooked puzzled when Juan was mentioning the sex tape. Kept glancing at Jodi's family during the FHE discussion.Writing a lot when Mugshot/48 hours explantion. Writing a lot during the whole "innocent of THAT charge" testimony.
"B" is a Female - 30ish -I could not see her very often.Nodding and writing when Juan got Jodi to admit it was her who got in trouble and ultimately her fault that she got grounded.
"C" is a Female - 30ish - I could not see her very oftenI noticed her flipping a page when Jodi agreed it was her fault she got grounded.
"D" is a Male - 50ish I could not see him after he sat down
"E" is a Male - 40's T-shirt with a green cordaroy or flannel shirt/jacket over that, glasses - my opinion 3rd most attentive Juror.Paid close attention Tracking Juan and Jodi, along with most of the front row, when testimony about why she moved to AZ, was leaning forward and taking notes. Paying close attention when testimony of Jodi leaving school as a junior and moving in with Bobby, and also when testimony about her moving around a lot. Looked to be listening and writing during most of the trial.
"F" is a Male - high 20's ? Low 30's? Flannel Checkered shirt, stubble I only saw him when lady in front of me kinda scooted overWatching intently when talking aout how Jodi pursued Bobby, when she called him and he hung up and she called back. Shook head when Jodi said it could have been a phone malfunction. Flipped pages twice while writing in his notebook during this time.
"G" is a Male - 40's Veiw blocked after he sat down
"H" is a Male - 25 ish? Long black hair, braided or pony tail . Looked Native American by the hair. (The hair reminded me of someone I know, that is why I say that. ) I could only see his body and arms most of the time, not his face. Leaned forward alot off and on the whole time, writing most of the time.
"I" is a Female - upper 20's - out of view after sitting down
"J" is a Male - 50ish, long silver pony tail, jeans -To me seemed to be the 2nd most attentive juror overall. Writing when testimony about how Matt wouldn't betray her. Paying close attention.Paying close attention and writing when talking of sex jodi didn't mind.Paying close attention on the mugshot/48 hours testimony, writing. When Jodi said she didn't see Travis and the woman through a sliding glass door, but it was a window, this juror started flipping back in his notebook as if looking for something he wrote before. Was slightly shaking his head in a "no" reaction.Writing alot, turning pages a lot all throughout.
"K" is a Male - 40ishwriting a lot when the "pursuing Bobby" and why she moved to MesaInterestingly I have little written about him, though I remember having a good line of site.
"L" is a Male - older 20's ? younger 30's maybe.Put hand over his mouth when "why she moved to Mesa" testimony and about grandma. Looked almost frightened at the "stalking " Bobby and Travis things. Leaning forward and writing during most things about her pursuing different guys, after she was broken up with them. Also had what I could only call a "are you sh*tting me" look when Jodi said that about she hadn't looked in a sliding door, it was a window.
"M" is a female- 40ishOnly thing I wrote about her is she leaned forward during the testimony of why Jodi moved to Arizona, and was writing at this time. I also saw her most of the time, but don't have anything else written.
"N" is a female - 25 or 30 ish? two toned hair, light blonde on top, brown under the blonde. This is who I belived to be the most attentive Juror. Watched Jodi intently when she was talking about what sex she liked.Shook her head slightly when the mugshot came up on screen. When Jodi talked about using the BMW to drive sister missionaries, this juror was looking at her with a look that made me think of a mom who was watching a child who was lying. Almost an embarrased look with "pursed" lips and slight head shake.Tracking between Juan and Nurmi during 48 hours clips, writing a lot during Jodi's explanations. Nodding when the testimony was about Jodi falling asleep on the "lovesack" when he was out with Mimi. Nodding with a "here we go again" look on her face. I swear she almost rolled her eyes. Writing frantically.
"O" is a male - 60ish Watching Juan when talking of the whole "stalking" Bobby/Travis thingWriting and leaning forward while during the Why she moved to AZ testimony. At BMW testimony flipped a page while writing.Writing all during the 48hours/Mugshot explanation.Leaned forward when she said she was "innocent of THAT charge"
"P" is a Female - 40ishOnly time I saw her was when she leaned forward and was writing during the Why Jodi moved to AZ testimony.
"Q" is a male - 50 ish I did not see after he sat down.
"R" is a female - 60's ? short grey hair. Looks like a grandma or teacher. Closest to JodiLeaned forward and was writing when Mug shot explanation was on 48 hours.Again leaned forward during the "Innocent of THAT charge" statement. Many people have said this is the one who seems to be agreeing with Jodi. I didn't pick up on that. She does nod a lot, but more in an "I see where this is going" kind of way. Often has a look on her face, that I can only describe as the look you wouldn't want to see on your grandma. She does look at Jodi most of the time, and writes most of the time.
A couple of other things. Travis' sister came over while we were waiting in the morning, and handed out blue ribbon pins to any who wanted them. Most people took them. After I got in the courtroom, when the jury first came in, an older man in the row behind me, who was wearing a light green, looked like polyester lesuire suit, said loud enough for me to hear, "she don't have a chance, it's a bunch of damned rednecks. " Him and the lady he was with were not wearing ribbons, but I don't know for sure he was for Jodi.
When I went down the elevator right after they came out for lunch break, I over heard a guy who was talking about how he had never wanted to be subpeoned. He had come out of Jodis courtroom. Was a heavy set white, bald guy with a bright yellow shirt button up shirt. Woman he was with said "so what do you know that is so important". He said "nothing" then said I can't talk about it anymore. I have no idea who it was, or if it was just a coincidence he was talking about himself as a witness, and it had nothing to do with this trial? Anyone know anything about a guy it could be?
And one last thing, after court was over, I kind of waited until the real full elevators went then got in. There was a blonde woman in the elevator who looked like she should be famliar to me. Someone said something about almost falling asleep, I said at least I didn't see any jurors fall asleep, and the blonde lady started talking to me about when she was a prosecutor and that they would call a sleeping juror , the "not guilty " vote. We kept walking together and talking, she said something about how the weather is so strange. She never knows what to wear.(She was wearing a red dress coat) She asked where I was from, while walking away from the court building, we talked a little about Phoenix, she thought it was a misleading city, the way it is spread out, because when your standing downtown, it doesn't look like such a huge city, but it really is. We waited for the light, walked in the same direction, when her phone rang, she said "Sorry, I gotta go, It's Nancy" and got in the InSession satelite truck. I know what InSession is, but I haven't had cable TV since the only court on tv was a channel called Court TV. I think it was the OJ trial was the last one I saw on there. Or maybe the Clinton hearing (not sure which was last)I am just curious to who this might have been. I didn't even realize she was with the media, but when I got home and watched a clip, I saw her in the back row of media."

BJ that's exactly how I was feeling... arms and legs flailing as I fall down into a swirling vortex of the unknown!
I seriously hope that's what Jodi is feeling.
I appreiciate that Martinez is taking full advantage of cross examination by grilling Jodi about the most mundane of details... but man isn't there a clock in that courtroom? He did manage to squeeze out a few good comments from Jodi.
1) She bought a 3rd gas can! Knowing she had managed to squirrel away an entire tank of gas in the trunk of her car, was a pretty important detail I thought. She was keeping her trip to Travis' a secret and didn't want to be caught on film putting gas in her rental car anywhere in that state! If that doesn't scream premeditation I don't know what does.
2) She admitted she was having a hard time keeping up with her lies during those TV interviews... but that didn't stop her from wanting to be seen or heard. True meaning of the words "Media Whore" if you ask me.
3) She called Matt after the murder but can't remember if he was the first person she called. Made me wonder two things. **What role if any did Matt play in the commerce of Travis' murder and how much of her alibi was Matt involved in? (Forging the letters, perhaps helping her form the ninja alibi...) I'm thinking he's an accessory after the fact and should be prosecuted as such. **Was Jodi unsure who she called first because she had also called Searcy?
4) She can't remember exactly when she loaded the car up with her baggage (camera bag, backpack, laptop etc) I think this may have been the moment she retrieved her grandfather's gun from the car. Better to put her belongings in the car before the murder instead of after.

The testimony of Jodi and questions of Martinez was very hard to follow today. They were all over the board! She testified that she and Travis had sex, took a shower, she ate a banana before or after the sex and left (or something like that)........Martinez showed a picture of her naked butt with a time stamp saying that she took a shower, A SECOND SHOWER, much later in the day than the time that she said she left his house. Earlier she said that she realized that something horrible had happened when, in the desert, she saw blood on her hands and feet. Well, excuse me, there would have been NO blood on her when she got to the desert since she took that second shower!4) She can't remember exactly when she loaded the car up with her baggage (camera bag, backpack, laptop etc) I think this may have been the moment she retrieved her grandfather's gun from the car. Better to put her belongings in the car before the murder instead of after.
I'm having a real hard time sorting this all out and putting things in order, but what I don't have a problem with is this........Martinez trampled on her today and I bet she's in the middle of a real serious migraine just thinking about what's going to transpire tomorrow in court!

Good points, Nite and BJ. I watched Dr. Drew tonight and did see one photo I hadn't seen before, two gaping wounds to the back of his head. These photos were hard to look at, but I think they should be shown again in court during close, because to me they spoke volumes of how brutal this attack really was. That alone should be enough to convict her.

I had a heck of a time following it today w/ TLBS and Martinez. Sometimes it seems like he won't let go when he could and sometimes he's just all over the place. I know he knows where he's going (or at least most of the time) but there are those times when it scares me that he's going to alienate the jury when he comes off as a bully. I think I am probably paranoid because of TLMS's trial but I do think he needs to give some things a bit of a rest. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE HIM! But I was not only watching on the internet but reading the sidebar at the same time as I'd get lost.
Tomorrow should be good, since there's no court Monday Martinez should be ending with something that will have that jury thinking all weekend.

Martinez' timing is incredible! About the last thing Jodi heard today was that she was busted as far as not leaving Travis' house when she claimed she did.....she stuck around and took that second shower. I wonder what's going through her mind right now. I'll bet she's not sleeping! I'm sure she's laying there wondering what else Martinez knows!

In Session live-blogs Arias' testimony Wednesday 2/27
read from bottom to top
6:31 p.m. ET: The judge has recessed court for the evening. Testimony will pick back up at 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday.
6:29 p.m. ET: Arias said she doesn't know when her laptop was packed in her car. She also said its a detail she doesn't remember. Martinez said during direct examination, Arias said all of her items were in her car before 5:30 p.m. June 4, 2008.
6:27 p.m. ET: Arias said she put her bags in her rental car at some point.
6:25 p.m. ET: Martinez is showing the jury a picture of her genitalia taken at 1:44 p.m. ET. Arias said afterwards she took a shower, and put on clothes.
6:19 p.m. ET: Arias said she shot a sex tape with Alexander on June 4, 2008 with her Olympus camera. They watched it, and then deleted it.
6:17 p.m. ET: Martinez asked Arias why she would want to spend time with a "bully." Arias said he wasn't just a bully.
6:16 p.m. ET: Arias said she stuck around and spend time with Alexander after they had sex on June 4, 2008. The attorneys are at a sidebar.
6:15 p.m. ET: Martinez is showing sexually explicit photos to jury of Alexander that does not show the rope.
6:11 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about a sex tape she made with Alexander on June 4, 2008.
6:10 p.m. ET: Arias said Alexander cut the rope in the bedroom, but she didn't know where he left it when he was done. Martinez replied by bringing up the fact that Arias had said during the investigation that she thought Alexander put the knife on his bedside table.
6:07 p.m. ET: "I don't know about ropes and things," said Arias.
6:04 p.m. ET: Arias and Martinez are still talking about photos of Alexander's bedroom where no rope can be scene.
6:02 p.m. ET: Martinez just showed Arias sexually explicit photos that she took with Alexander on June 4, 2008. No rope can be seen in the photos.
5:57 p.m. ET: Martinez is showing the jury a picture of Alexander's bed to show how Arias was tied to it.
5:54 p.m. ET: Martinez is making the point that Alexander may not have needed to cut the rope for the sexual encounter. This point may cast doubt on whether the knife used to stab him was already in the bedroom like Arias claimed on direct examination.
5:51 p.m. ET: Alexander tied her hands against the bed, but she could slip her hands out.
5:47 p.m. ET: Arias is describing how long the rope was Alexander used for a sexual encounter on June 4, 2008, the day he died.
5:46 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about her arrival at Alexander's house the night before he died.
5:39 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar with Judge Stephens.
5:37 p.m. ET: Arias said she was flattered that Alexander wanted her to see him during her road trip in early June 2008.
5:33 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias if she was going to visit Ryan Burns, a potential love interest, in Utah then why was she allowing Alexander to guilt her. Arias said he had an effect on her. Testimony has stopped for a few minutes while the court staff fixes a technical difficulty.
5:29 p.m. ET: Arias said before she left for her road trip in early June 2008, Alexander was trying to guilt her into stopping by Mesa, Arizona to see him.
5:27 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about Alexander's alleged ability to guilt her into doing things.
5:04 p.m. ET: Judge Stephens has recessed court until 5:25 p.m. ET. The live blog will pick back up when testimony resumes.
5:03 p.m. ET: Arias said she could not see that what was on the ground was a license plate, because she was nearsighted and didn't know until 2 years later.
4:56 p.m. ET: Arias picked up a license plate she saw on the ground after she saw the skaters. She said she thought it the front license plate for her rental car, and it did not occur to her to double check it with license plate on the back of the car. If she had she would have noticed the license plate was supposedly upside down. Martinez is pointing out that Arias actions do not seem logical.
4:49 p.m. ET: Martinez has moved on to Arias' claim that some skaters may have turned her license plate upside down on her rental car.
4:48 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "What was taken from your room?"
"10 and 20 dollar bill," replied Arias.
Martinez asked, "Your laptop wasn’t taken?"
"No, my laptop was with me," replied Arias.
Martinez said, "Do you remember that you actually told the police officers that you were actually pretty lucky because your laptop was in a hamper sort of thing and the clothes were covering it and it hadn’t be stolen. Do you remember saying that to the officers?"
"No, I remember there was a discussion regarding the laptop and I told them I was lucky I had it with them," replied Arias.
4:47 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "How about the gun you used to kill Mr. Alexander, how big was that gun?"
"It wasn’t very big," replied Arias.
Martinez said, "Looked like a toy gun, right?"
"Looked pretty real, to me," replied Arias.
Martinez said "It could fit in your purse right?"
"Yes, if she takes a few things out of her purse," said Arias.
4:46 p.m. ET: Ryan Smith Tweets: JodiArias tells cops Travis didn't have a GUN. Tried to backtrack but it's out there...suggests premeditation
4:45 p.m. ET: Arias said some money was also stolen from her room in her grandparents' house.
4:43 p.m. ET: Martinez has moved on to Arias' grandfathers guns. A .25 caliber gun was stolen from Arias' grandparents house, where Arias was living, on May 28, 2008. The gun was the same caliber that was used to shoot Alexander, and the gun was never recovered by police.
4:42 p.m. ET: "You didn’t know it was going to be important back then in 2008 this issue involving the gun, and that’s why when he asked you about it you said ‘no he doesn’t have any guns’ because it wasn’t important at that point because you couldn’t foresee the future,” said Martinez.
4:41 p.m. ET: Arias said she saw Alexander with his gun in the Fall in 2007, and it was the same gun she used to shoot him.
4:40 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "You had all the information when you called the detective, isn’t that true?"
"Barring my memory gaps, what I knew, I had information," replied Arias.
Martinez asked, "You knew you had been the person who had killed him, you knew that right?"
"Yeah" replied Arias.
4:37 p.m. ET: Vinnie Politan Tweets: listening to recording where she told investigators Travis DID NOT have a gun..Huge moment for Prosecution
4:36 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "So, when you are doing that you wouldn’t purposely say things that to hurt you, would? Hurt your case?"
"I don’t know," replied Arias.
Martinez asked, "You think you would purposely say things to hurt your case?"
"Probably not, that wasn’t really my goal," replied Arias.
4:35 p.m. ET: On the recording, Arias can be heard asking Flores what weapons were used to kill Alexander. Arias told Flores that Alexander did not have a gun. Arias testified earlier that she shot Alexander with his own gun she found in his closet when he was trying to attack her for dropping his new camera.
4:33 p.m. ET: Arias said she initiated contact with Flores before he reached out to her. Martinez is now playing a clip of the phone conversation Arias had with Flores shortly after his death.
4:30 p.m. ET: Now Martinez is asking Arias about a conversation she had with Detective Esteban Flores shortly after Alexander's body was found in June 2008.
4:27 p.m. ET: Martinez just asked Arias if she had a gun with on this road trip to Mesa, Arizona. She replied she did not have a gun.
4:25 p.m. ET: Arias said she never told Ryan Burns that she was going to stop to visit Alexander in Mesa, Arizona, before visiting Burns in the Salt Lake City area.
4:23 p.m. ET: Vinnie Politan Tweets: Jodi Arias and her Gas Cans prove premeditation! She wanted NO RECORD of being in AZ at time of killing...
4:21 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "Your goal changed apparently?"
"I still wanted to save gas, but my priority changed," replied Arias.
4:20 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "So if you want to save on gas why is it then that you’re willing to pay $13 for a gas can which would increase if you will the price of travel by $13?"
"That wasn’t’ a calculation I made when I bought, that’s why I returned it," replied Arias.
4:19 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias if she wanted to save money why didn't she fill up the gas tanks in Nevada where gas is cheaper. Arias said when she got the gas cans her goal was to change, but when she decided to visit Alexander in Mesa, Arizona her priorities changed.
4:16 p.m. ET: Arias said she did not have a third gas, when she returned it Wal-Mart did not give her a return receipt.
4:11 p.m. ET: Vinnie Politan Tweets: bought gas in California to fill gas cans where gas was MORE EXPENSIVE than Nevada or Utah... Where she was going...
4:10 p.m. ET: Martinez just pointed out that earlier Arias said she wanted the gas cans, because gas was so expensive in California. The receipts show Arias bought around $80 in gas filling up the car and tanks in Pasadena, California.
4:08 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "Wouldn’t you agree that cash transaction is harder to keep track of then a credit transaction?"
"Yes I would agree with that," said Arias.
4:06 p.m. ET: Martinez is showing a reciepts to the jury that shows Arias bought 9 gallons gas four minutes after buying 8 gallons of gas. She bought eight gallons of gas with a debit card, but she bought the 9 gallons a few minutes later with cash. Arias agreed with Martinez that a cash purchase would be harder to track.
4:04 p.m. ET: Martinez said, "So, you’re saying throughout the trial you might have spaced out and not paid attention to whats going on?"
"During other people’s testimony sometimes my mind wonders," replied Arias.
4:03 p.m. ET: Arias said she had the gas cans so she could have extra gas on hand.
4:01 p.m. ET: One of the receipts show she filled the car up at an Arco in Pasadena, California.
4:00 p.m. ET: Arias returned the gas can at some point. Now Martinez is showing the jury gas receipts that seem to show the gas cans had a larger capacity than five gallons.
3:58 p.m. ET: Arias said she bought a third gas can from Wal-Mart in Salinas, California.
3:57 p.m. ET: After leaving Monterey, Arias said she got her nails in Salinas, California on June 3, 2008. The next day Alexander died.
3:56 p.m. ET: Arias said she put the gas cans in the trunk of the car after borrowing them from Brewer in Monterey, California.
3:51 p.m. ET: Martinez got frustrated at Arias, because she is adding information to her answers. He keeps explaining to the her that he wants one word answers when he asks yes or no questions.
3:49 p.m. ET: Martinez asked Arias if she told Brewer that she was going to Mesa, Arizona. Arias replied no she told him she was going to see friends in Utah.
3:44 p.m. ET: Arias said she borrowed gas cans from her ex-boyfriend Darryl Brewer for her road trip in June 2008.
3:41 p.m. ET: Martinez is walking Arias through gas receipts from her June 2008 to Mesa, Arizona.
3:40 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar.
3:39 p.m. ET: Arias is back on the stand. Martinez is asking about Arias' road trip to see Alexander in June 2008. Arias is talking about how she ran out of gas in Nevada.
1:57 p.m. ET: Judge Stephens recessed court for lunch. The live blog will resume when testimony picks back up at 3:30 p.m. ET.
1:56 p.m. ET: Martinez asked Arias if she is saying that red cars stick out to police departments more than white cars.
1:54 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about how she turned down a red rental car. The rental car agent testified earlier in the trial she didn't want a car that stood out. Arias just replied to Martinez and said she didn't want a red car, because they get more tickets.
1:50 p.m. ET: Arias said Redding is about 100 miles away from Yreka.
1:47 p.m. ET: Martinez reminded Arias that she testified earlier in the trial that Yreka is a small town and everyone knows each other's business.
1:46 p.m. ET: Martinez is hinting that Arias rented the car in Redding, California, instead of in her hometown of Yreka, because someone might recognize her there.
1:44 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about the rental reservations she made for a road trip to go visit Alexander in June 2008.
1:38 p.m. ET: Arias said that during her TV interview she could not keep her lies straight.
1:35 p.m. ET: In this clip, Arias gives a very detailed account of how the intruders killed Alexander, and how she tried to fight them off.
1:33 p.m. ET: Martinez is about to play another clip from the TV interview.
1:30 p.m. ET: In another clip of Arias' TV interview, she acknowledges that there is a lot of evidence that places her at the crime scene. Arias also said she almost lost her life that day, because she barely escaped the intruders in Alexander's home. They allegedly threatened her and told her that she could not tell anyone about what happened when Alexander died.
1:26 p.m. ET: Martinez then showed a gchat conversation Arias had with Ryan Burns, where she called him "hottie biscotti." Arias said she called a lot of people that nickname. Martinez tried to make the point that, because Arias called both Burns and Alexander that nickname she really didn't care about Alexander.
1:24 p.m. ET: Martinez showed the jury a text message Arias sent Alexander when she called him a "hottie biscotti."
1:20 p.m. ET: Martinez played another part of the phone sex conversation, where Arias said they were, "horny toads."
1:19 p.m. ET: Arias testified her sexual relationship with Alexander conflicted with Mormon teachings.
1:15 p.m. ET: Martinez is playing yet another part of the phone sex conversation. Arias said she wants to have sex with Alexander every day.
1:12 p.m. ET: Martinez is playing another part of the phone sex conversation with Alexander. In the clip, Arias said she wanted to shoot video of them having sex.
1:11 p.m. ET: Martinez asked, "It was a consensual, mutual relationship sexually speaking, wasn’t it?"
"Yes, always," replied Arias.
1:09 p.m. ET: In one text message, Arias told Alexander, "I want to [expletive} you like a dirty, horny little school girl."
1:08 p.m. ET: Martinez is showing the jury text messages Arias sent Alexander that shows Arias being an enthusiastic participant in sexual encounters with Alexander. The text messages are sexually explicit.
12:59 p.m. ET: Arias said it takes two hands for her to masturbate.
12:57 p.m. ET: Martinez asked Arias about the time Alexander started having sex with her while she was asleep and whether it was consensual. Arias said yes and no.
12:51 p.m. ET: In the recording, Arias said she hopes to marry a "kinky" Mormon man.
12:50 p.m. ET: Martinez is playing another part of the phone sex recording to the jury.
12:47 p.m. ET: Arias said she did not get a chance to delete the recording of the phone sex, because it was stolen. A few years later the phone resurfaced.
12:43 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking who was in possession of the phone sex recording after it was made. Arias said she never gave to Alexander. Earlier in the trial, Arias claimed Alexander requested that she record their phone sex.
12:40 p.m. ET: Arias said she doesn't believe Alexander did not masturbate before meeting her.
12:37 p.m. ET: Martinez just played another part of the phone sex conversation between Arias and Alexander. Alexander said he did not masturbate before meeting Arias.
12:36 p.m. ET: Martinez proved his point that people lie, by pointing out all the lies Arias told.
12:33 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias if she witnessed Alexander have sex with other people. She said Alexander told her he had sex with other girls. Martinez replied that he wanted to know about her first-hand experience, not what Alexander said, because people lie.
12:29 p.m. ET: In the interview clip, Arias gives an example of Alexander's generosity. Arias claims while in Ehrenberg, Alexander gave a homeless woman a cheeseburger. She makes no mention of the sexual encounters she and Alexander allegedly had that made her feel like a prostitute.
12:24 p.m. ET: Martinez is about to play a clip for Arias' interview with a TV show where she discusses her trip to Ehrenberg.
12:23 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about a trip she took to Ehrenberg, Arizona, to meet Alexander. Arias said she felt like a prostitute after the trip. Martinez just played a sexual explicit recording of Arias talking to Alexander where she said she enjoyed their sexual experience in Ehrenberg.
12:20 p.m. ET: Arias is in the courtroom, and testimony should begin any minute.
