Well this expert already has won some confidence in my book by the simple fact that she is NOT Samuels.

I doubt she will say Jodi was abused by Travis, otherwise why would she be the Pros. witness? (She is, isn't she?)
Anyway, I am surprised that even I think she may or may not be a victim of DV herself, or had parents that were, but Good Lord she certainly has been in the trenches for a long time and through a lot of history as far as the evolution of the study of DV goes. So, I will just say "we will see". I agree there's nothing like having been there in order to truly understand it. But I don't think a little lying twit like Jodi will fool her, either.

NO, she is the defense witness. She will say that BASED ON HEARING THE SEX TAPE and reading the texts and emails, he verbally/emotionally/sexually abused her. This is where he is different than Samuels bc she can literally go by what Travis did/say. With Samuels, it was ALL about what Jodi told him.

We are going to hear the sex tapes and talk of lots of sex probably all week.

I DO think she is qualified on the books but still want to know if she has Ever personally been in an abusive relationship. That makes all the difference.

This MAY save Jodi from the DP. MOO.

I agree, Raine, that Juan should take it easy on this witness. She comes off to me as a likable granny type with all her little stories.

Although I didn't watch after lunch, it seemed to me that the abusive behavior she was discussing applied more to Jodi than to Travis. Travis never went to California, followed her on dates, etc. This woman may get her off the DP, or she may be explaining more clearly to the jurors that this is the abuser mentality Jodi showed.

Is Wilmott still up tomorrow? I haven't watched the videos yet.

Someone on the JVM show thinks there will be a hung jury. If for no other reason than for the notoriety of being THE ONE that caused the hung jury. Now that would totally suck. I hope this jury is taking their job seriously.
