me: OMG, now Nurmi wants to withdraw from the case AGAIN!! Loved it when the judge said there is "speculation as to why Womack is not there."

Motion to w/draw Denied. NOW, Nurmi says they will NOT be calling witnesses. NO Darryl..so I guess is up next? This is WILD!!!!

This is just a tactic by the defense so that later Jodi can file an appeal for ineffective counsel.

It's just going to make the jury want death for even more, IMO.

Photographs........I think these are the photos of Patrisha's wedding (taken by Jodi) that Patrisha may have sold to the media.

COURT RECESSED UNTIL TOMORROW.....

I am just speechless......absolutely have no words for what just took place in the AZ courtroom of the Jodi Arias trial. It's clear that the defense attorneys are trying to set up an appeal with this trial, by calling NO WITNESSES. Last minute grasping for straws seems to be their 'middle name'. Once again, Jodi Arias is in control of this trial, not Judge Stephens.

I am horrified at the treatment of these jurors. It seems like they have been shuffled off to the side and all but forgotten by this court. In all of my years.....working for the court.....this is the most unacceptable and inexcusable behavior towards jurors that I've ever, ever witnessed. My friends, it just isn't done! You don't bring in a jury and have them sit and sit and sit in the jury room, with even more delays....then to bring them in the courtroom and DISMISS THEM FOR THE DAY, time and time again. When does this end?

I'm told that Daryl did not even appear today.....so this was a planned tactic on the defense's strategy to once again....DELAY THIS TRIAL. They could have called family members to speak on their daughter's/sister's behalf. But they chose to take the high road out.....and once again...DELAY.

I am beyond the feelings of disgust today. But if I feel this way, what about the family of Travis Alexander? What about their lives and all of these delays? They've been away from home now for five months.....and while we 'thought' this week would end the trial....I'm wondering IF IT WILL EVER END????? I seriously mean that.

After all of these months of Judge Stephens leaning heavily in favor of the defense, giving them everything they've asked for with their little fits they've thrown....SIDE BAR KING AND QUEEN.....they still want more. Why? Because they see the death penalty a big reality for their client, Jodi Arias. Once again....JODI IS RUNNING THE SHOW.

I said I 'have no words....I'm speechless'....guess I really had more to say than I realized. I am just livid that the justice system in this trial is such a mockery of what a real courtroom is suppose to be handled like. You want to see a no nonsense judge? Take a look at the judge in the Trayvon Martin case. She is tough and she is going to run that trial with a tight rope.....no nonsense will happen in that trial by either side.

Without a doubt....this case will go down in history for all the wrong reasons. I have no clue how it will end up......if it ever does get back on track. Calling NO WITNESSES is NOT GOOD for the state. The Supreme Court will take a long hard look at this move.....and wonder 'why' upon appeal. It's a dirty move, in my opinion.....but it was allowed and here we are again......in recess.

I'll bet Juan collected evidence (Suboxone/Methadone center records) which would prove that Patty didn't follow through with her rehab recommendations following her discharge=relapse=she's a junkie.

A woman who planned to testify as a character witness for Jodi Arias in a bid to spare her life decided Monday that she couldn’t go through with it, saying she had received death threats and was deeply conflicted about the case.
Lawyers for Arias, who was convicted earlier this month of the frenzied murder of an ex-lover, quickly asked for a mistrial in the sentencing phase on the grounds that a witness had been intimidated. The judge denied the request.
The potential witness, Patricia Womack, is a childhood friend of Arias who planned to testify about Arias’ abusive childhood. Besides the threats, she said that her heart went out to the family of Travis Alexander, whom Arias was convicted of killing.

“I couldn’t do it,” she told NBC News in an email. “I feel there is so much good in Jodi to be saved but then also someone’s dear life was taken.”

Court abruptly adjourned for the day after lawyers for Arias said they had no witnesses to call. It remained possible that jurors in the sentencing phase would hear from Arias herself, perhaps Tuesday.
Karen DeSoto, a defense lawyer and legal analyst for MSNBC, said there were ways of overcoming Womack’s feelings of intimidation.
“If she really is scared, then turn the cameras off,” she said. “There’s a lot of ways to cure whether somebody can testify. Clear the courtroom.”
After the judge, Sherry Stephens of Maricopa County Superior Court, denied the mistrial request, lawyers for Arias asked to be taken off the case. The judge denied that request as well.
