Search for Missing Florida Mother Michelle Parker Moves to New City
Published December 15, 2011
| FoxNews.com
The investigation around a central Florida mother who disappeared after a television show appearance last month is moving to a nearby city.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that family and friends of Michelle Parker will be distributing fliers Thursday in Kissimmee. The group of volunteers is not doing foot searches, but there will also be a benefit held there for her children.
A mother of three, the 33-year-old Parker was last seen on Nov. 17. It was the same day an episode of "The People's Court" aired in which Parker and 40-year-old ex-fiance Dale Smith argued over who was responsible for the cost of a missing $5,000 engagement ring.
Authorities say Smith, 40, is their only suspect at this point, though he has not been charged in Parker's disappearance.
On the show, Parker described a tumultuous relationship with Smith that at times she said became violent.
"He gets pretty malicious and vindictive," she told the courtroom, "and he's a mean person, especially when he's been drinking."
"He shouldn't have put his hands on me and he shouldn't have put his hands on me prior. He shouldn't have left me three or four times over the past year and a half that we've been together," she said.
Parker's vehicle was found abandoned the day after she disappeared, and her family initially thought she was the victim of a carjacking.
She was last seen wearing jeans, a Florida Gators hooded sweatshirt and a silver cross necklace. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is being urged to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.

Michelle Parker missing: Family renews plea for help
By Bianca Prieto, Orlando Sentinel
11:39 a.m. EST, December 15, 2011
This morning the family of missing mother Michelle Parker renewed their plea for help in finding her as the search reached entered the fifth week today.
"We have to find her. Someone out there knows where she is. And if that someone can read this…at this point I don't care if we find you, call anonymously if you must," her family wrote on the Facebook page dedicated to finding the missing woman.
"Just a tip on where to look is all we need. But please do the right thing in a situation where so much wrong has already been done. Please just give her back to us all."
The 33-year-old mother of three from Geneva hasn't been seen since Nov. 17 when she dropped off her two youngest children with their father, Dale Smith II, in south Orlando.
Minutes before she arrived at Smith's home, a pre-recorded episode of the People's Court aired in which the two argued about a lost $5,000 engagement ring. Parker was ordered to pay half the cost of the ring.
Police have named Smith the sole suspect in her disappearance but have not charged him with any crimes.
Today friends and family will temporarily relocate their efforts to Alligator Alley, a country bar in Kissimmee. Volunteers can meet there at 1 p.m. today to pass out fliers. There will not be any foot searches today, according to organizer Angela Mann.
Earlier this week lead detective Michael Moreschi said investigators are following up on several leads.
"We still have a lot to do and that's good," he said.
Investigators have released few specifics about the investigation. Below are key points since Parker disappeared.
Timeline
Nov. 17, 3:17 p.m.: Surveillance video shows Parker driving in Smith's neighborhood
4:30 p.m.: A text message is sent from Parker's phone to her brother indicating she may be headed to the Waterford Lakes area.
8 p.m.: Parker's iPhone pinged in the area of Oakridge Road and Orange Avenue before it was powered down.
Nov. 18: Parker's Hummer H3 was found in a parking lot of the Walden Palms Apartments. The unique decals for her mobile tanning business, Glow, had been removed.
Nov. 28: Police Chief Paul Rooney named Smith the prime suspect in Parker's disappearance.
Dec. 8: Police confirm Parker's iPhone was found in the water below the Nela Bridge in Belle Isle.
Investigators urge anyone with information to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477

Michelle Parker's Family Unsure about Celebrating Christmas
December 16, 2011 04:05 PM EST
The search for missing mother of three, Michelle Parker, is now taking place in Kissimmee, Florida and her family and friends were busy handing out flyers to people willing to help out. As the search for Michelle keeps growing after the discovery of her iPhone underneath a bridge last week, reports claimed that Michelle's mother was starting to lose hope. She believed that her daughter always kept her cell phone with her and the fact that it was found broke Michelle's mother's heart.
"I don't know how we'll celebrate Christmas this year because we only want one thing for Christmas," Michelle's brother explained to WKMG. The family only wants Michelle Parker home for Christmas. The family is hoping to learn any new piece of information that could lead them to her whereabouts.
At this point, the prime suspect is still Michelle Parker's ex-fiancé Dale Smith. He currently has custody of Michelle's twins, since he is the biological father. He is being cooperative in terms of letting Michelle's parents visit the children, meaning he is not shutting down every opportunity to interact with her family. But he is not out helping in the search for her, meaning her family members still have their suspicions.
Michelle's family is unsure of how Christmas will play out this year, considering she is still missing, but surely the twins won't be forgotten during this awful time.

Somber anniversary in Michelle Parker disappearance
Last Updated: Saturday, December 17, 2011 6:20 AM
ORLANDO --
It was exactly one month ago today Michelle Parker vanished, seemingly without a trace.
Currently, there are still no signs of the missing mother of three.
Parker was last seen in south Orlando when she dropped off two of her children with their father, Dale Smith II. It was the same day Parker and Smith appeared on a taped episode of the People's Court. He's been called a suspect in the disappearance but so far hasn't been charged.
Since then, her family has spent weeks manning a command center, passing out flyers and urging anyone with information to come forward. And they remain hopeful Parker is still alive and will be brought home safe.

Michelle Parker Breaking Exclusive Update: Psychic Carla Baron Shares Compelling Predictions
December 28, 2011 11:40 PM EST
Michelle Parker remains missing and detectives have released very few details regarding this missing persons investigation. What's known is that they publicly acknowledge that her former fiancé, Dale Smith, is their only suspect. Not all people believe Dale Smith is guilty of any wrongdoing, however, and Carla Baron is one of those people.
Famous psychic profiler Carla Baron gave an exclusive interview for Gather News regarding the disappearance of Michelle Parker. It's believed by many that the missing "People's Court" mom was harmed by her former fiancé, but Baron believes that someone entirely different is responsible for Michelle's disappearance. In fact, she made a psychic connection with Michelle and her predictions are chilling. She believes that not only is Dale Smith innocent, but a potential serial predator is possibly responsible for the disappearance of the Florida mother of three.
In her vision, Carla Baron believes that the man responsible for abducting Michelle had seen her by chance and had not seen the airing of "The People's Court." She sees that this man saw her from a parking lot, illuminated by a business—possibly the nightclub which employed the missing woman. In the "flashes" of visions she received about this, she sensed that the vehicle the man was sitting in was an older sports type car—like an old Nova or Mustang. She believes the car has a partial primer paint job as it was partly "dull" and needed body work. She senses that this man is either a drug addict or someone who is jittery. The man is believed to have followed Michelle, stalking her over a span of at least a full day.
"The whole scene played out in flashes before my eyes. The perpetrator was watching what appeared to be a restaurant or bar, at night with the lights, from his car in the parking lot—kind of slouched down in the seat. He has done this before. It was as if he was selecting his next sexual victim from a 'catalogue' as they walked out of the establishment."
From there, Carla's prediction of what may have happened to Michelle L. Parker is disturbing but paints a picture that in no way includes her former fiancé, Dale Smith. The person Carla describes is someone who has a tendency to go after a certain body type and in no way knew Michelle before abducting her. She also believes that the evidence found by detectives so far have been placed as decoys to throw them off of this predator's tracks.
This isn't the first prediction Carla Baron has made regarding the Michelle Parker disappearance. Early in December she was interviewed by a senior associate producer for the Dr. Phil show and she revealed that the woman's cell phone would be found as though tossed from a vehicle. She also noted that the phone would be "powered down," and in a condition that indicates that it was held onto for a while by the perp before being discarded. As it turned out, her prediction pretty much came true when Michelle's iPhone 4 was discovered a few days later by divers. What's more shocking is that the phone was powered down and in "too good" of a condition to had been under water in Lake Conway for a month.
Carla also pointed out in her initial reading into what may have happened, that she has never believed that Dale is responsible.
"I knew from the very 1st preliminary psychic read on Michelle Parker with the senior associate producer (Dr. Phil Show) that Saturday morning of Dec. 3 that the ex-fiancé, Dale Smith, had nothing to do with Michelle's disappearance, or ultimate demise."
So could this prominent psychic profiler be correct in her visions regarding the disappearance of this woman? It seems that Carla has had an excellent track record with lending insight to cases as well as personal readings so it's definitely something to consider. In fact, the brother of the missing woman expressed his belief in the beginning that his sister was harmed by a random predator. Are police even considering these theories or are they rushing to pin this crime on someone (anyone) so as to move on?

Her mother was saying she had been abducted/taken by someone too or car jacked for her vehicle.
I hope LE does a search of the parking lot where her vehicle was found abandoned, for the faded/primered car that Carla Baron described in her prediction.
I am a firm believer that anything is possible...
They don't call Paranormal (which means: above the normal) the 6th sense for nothing!

Michelle Parker Update: Family Says Wrong Places Being Searched
The family of Michelle Parker say that detectives aren't searching in the right places and the search needs to be "ramped up." With the young woman missing for several weeks, it's evident that she may have certainly met foul play. Those feelings are even being expressed by the missing mother's parents.
The father of Michelle Parker, Brad Parker, believes that detectives should be searching Lake Conway for his daughter's body.
"Search Lake Conway, that's where her phone was found. Being that the phone was found there, common sense makes you feel they should focus on searching there."
He has a great point, but perhaps he isn't aware of how long divers and other investigative officials combed that area. Furthermore, there are clues indicating that the phone was tossed into Lake Conway long after the woman's reported disappearance. It was simply in "too good of shape" to have been in the water for such a length of time. Also, modern search protocol involves the use of some pretty interesting tools for finding human remains in bodies of water.
Although it is highly possible that Michelle's body could be somewhere near the location of her phone, it's also more likely that whomever abducted her could have placed the phone there as a diversion or an afterthought.
Who is responsible for the Michelle Parker disappearance?
Many are quick to believe that Dale Smith is responsible for his former fiance's strange disappearance, and even detectives have named him as their only suspect. However, it's probably still possible that something else happened to Michelle. Could she have been preyed upon by someone who noticed her at her workplace? Could she have been out running errands and happened upon a chance abduction? These are all credible theories and even the woman's own brother expressed that these were his concerns long after Dale Smith was speculated upon by the media and those around them.
Most currently, the search for Michelle Parker is continuing. America's Most Wanted featured a web-exclusive story covering the missing Florida mom's story and acknowledged that detectives are still actively seeking tips and leads in this ongoing investigation. They are definitely gathering more evidence and keeping an eye on Dale Smith, but without a body will they be able to pin this on them?

Michelle Parker Remains to be Found -- Family Raises Awareness
January 05, 2012 10:31 PM EST
The Michelle Parker case is still unsolved and the missing 33-year-old mother of three remains to be found. The lack of developments in this tragic and mysterious case hasn't kept the woman's family down in spirits, however, and they're continually spreading awareness about her case.
When Michelle Parker was reported missing, suspicion immediately fell on Dale Smith, her former fiancé.
However, there must not be enough evidence to charge the 40-year-old man, as he has not been arrested or charged with any crimes. In fact, the state of Florida handed custody of their twins right over to him. Although detectives on the case acknowledge him as their only suspect, it really doesn't seem like they truly know whether he's responsible or not.
What if he isn't?
While Michelle's family passes out flyers in Apoka, Florida, hoping to get more people accustomed to seeing her face and other details. Maybe someone will recognize her or know something of her whereabouts. However, this case has attracted national attention on a pretty large scale, and unless you're living under a rock or simply avoid the news at all costs, you probably already know who Michelle is and what she looks like.
Where is Michelle Parker?
Most of the evidence in this case has been found local to the missing woman. Her iPhone 4 was discovered under a bridge in Lake Conway, not far from Dale Smith's home. Her car was also found not far from her last known whereabouts. So where is she? Could Dale Smith have honestly harmed his former fiancé, the woman he once proposed marriage to in hopes of spending the rest of their lives together? It doesn't seem likely that someone would be stupid enough to harm someone after their bad relationship aired on national television for all to see. So what if he truly isn't responsible? What if he truly doesn't know what happened to Michelle?
None of these questions will probably be answered until Michelle is found.

Dale Wayne Smith Sr., the 64-year-old father of the suspect in the disappearance of missing mother Michelle Parker, was arrested on drug charges on Tuesday, records show.
The elder Smith faces charges of sale or manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Circumstances of the arrest were not immediately available. The sale or manufacture charge is a third-degree felony, and the other two charges are first-degree misdemeanors.
Smith is the father of Dale Smith II, ex-fiancé of Parker and father of her twins. He has not been charged, but Police have named Smith II the sole suspect in Parker's disappearance.
The younger Smith is the last person known to have seen her. The two have a violent past. Parker, 33, was last seen Nov. 17 driving the twins to Smith's townhouse off Goldenrod Road.
Custody of the twins has been at issue since early in the expansive, multi-county search effort for Parker, who lives in Geneva. The younger Smith currently has custody.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Children and Families said the arrest of the elder Smith was unlikely to impact custody, unless the kids were placed in harm's way.
Spokeswoman Carrie Hoeppner said DCF has requested documents related to the arrest, "to better understand the circumstances" and assess any impact on the children.
"However, an arrest could prompt the Department to request that [Smith Sr.] not have contact or must be supervised around the children," Hoeppner said in a statement.

Family of Michelle Parker resumes search efforts
Family of missing woman Michelle Parker plan to conduct searches every Saturday.

ORLANDO --
They're starting the New Year with renewed determination.
Michelle Parker's family will now spend every Saturday searching for the missing mother of three.
“So if you're available any Saturday, come help me find my kid,” said Parker’s mother, Yvonne Stewart.
The command post was back at the Jesse Black's Saloon.
Volunteers are asked to meet there on Saturdays by 9:30 a.m. to post fliers or physically search for Michelle.
“Dress with boots, jeans, with long sleeve shirts, sunglasses, not a lot of jewelry. You're going to be in the woods,” Stewart said.
Saturday afternoon was spent in the woods north of SR 528, east of Goldenrod Road.
“We just had a hunch. It has already been searched,” said Parker’s stepfather Jeff Stewart. “But I just want to search it again, just to clear it.”
The location is seven miles from the site where Michelle's cell phone was found, but a half mile from the home of the prime suspect in Michelle's disappearance, her ex-fiancé, Dale Smith II.
One thing searchers found in the woods Saturday was a tree camera.
Although it was found lying on the ground, the camera would usually be rigged to a tree.
It takes a picture when it senses movement in the woods.
The pictures are saved on a small memory card, and can be viewed on a computer.
However, there weren’t any pictures on the card searchers found Saturday.
But they’re now asking hunters with tree cameras in Orange County, to check their photos for anything that could be a clue in Parker’s case.
Saturday's search was done independent of the Orlando Police Department.
“They're going to have some upcoming searches that we'll be able to assist them on,” Yvonne said. “So this is just what we can do right now.”
This all comes one day after authorities launched a massive search for Jennifer Kesse, a woman who's been missing for six years.
After a day long search, nothing was found.
“It made me cry,” Yvonne said, “because I know how they feel. It's awful not to know where your kid is. They're six years into this and I pray to God that they get closure. I pray to God that we get closure. The miracle that I want is Michelle to just call me up and go 'Mom, I finally got away. Come and get me.’ That's what I want to happen and I hope I get that miracle.”
Searchers didn't find any sign of Michelle Parker Saturday, but they'll continue looking for clues.
If you have any information, call CrimeLine at 1-800-423-TIPS.
You'll be eligible for a $5,000 reward for information leading to her discovery.

Dad of suspect in Parker case faces drug charges
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The father of the prime suspect in the disappearance of Michelle Parker was arrested on drug charges in Orange County.
A year-and-a-half ago, arrest documents show sheriff's deputies found a 5-foot-tall marijuana plant in a shed, a bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Dale Smith Sr.'s home.
Officials said 64-year-old Smith Sr. was charged with posession of marijuana, posession of drug paraphernalia, and selling or manufacturing a controlled substance.
According to court records, an arrest warrant was issued at the beginning of December, but Smith Sr. was not arrested until January 3.
After Parker disappeared in November, investigators raided his house on Rose Boulevard, looking for clues.
One week later, the State Attorney's Office issued a warrant for Smith Sr.'s arrest in the year-and-a-half-old drug case.
WFTV asked legal expert Bill Sheaffer whether he thought the timing of the charges was more than coincidental.
"Obviously it has something to do with the disappearance of Michelle Parker," Sheaffer said. "That may enable law enforcement to get the family perhaps to talk about the disappearance of Michelle Parker in order to improve their position on this third-degree felony charge."
Smith Sr. has since bonded out of jail and is back home.
Smith Sr. is the father of Dale Smith Jr., the man who police say is the prime suspect in the disappearance of Michelle Parker. She has been missing for nearly two months. She disappeared after an episode of The People's Court where she and Smith Jr. fought over her lost engagement ring.
In a December court hearing, Smith Jr. was given custody of the couples' 3-year-old twins. Officials with the Department of Children and Families said they are investigating the circumstances of the arrest to determine if it compromised the safety of the children.
"You've got a bad drug deal going down, you've got a drive-by shooting, and my grandkids are over there. This guy is older than me. He should be smarter than that." said Michelle Parker's father, Brad Parker.

PALM BAY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - It is nearing two months since the disappearance of an Orlando mother and intensive search efforts have revealed few clues.
A mother of three, the 33-year-old Michelle Parker was last seen on Nov. 17, 2011. It was the same day an episode of "The People's Court" aired in which Parker and her 40-year-old ex-fiance Dale Smith argued over who was responsible for the cost of a missing $5,000 engagement ring.

PALM BAY --
Search efforts for missing mother Michelle Parker moved to Brevard County Saturday.
The 33-year-old hasn't been seen since November after disappearing from Orange County.
Family members say police told them there are clues in Palm Bay that could lead to a break in the case.
Volunteers handed out flyers, something Michelle's mother is grateful for.
"Until she comes home, I'm just going to keep looking and I thank everyone for coming out here and helping us," Yvonne Stewart.
The search team was originally going to search a specific area not far from their setup at Lowes off Malibar Rd., but family said police told them they wanted to go there with police dogs first.
The area is on private property in the Palm Bay area.
Michelle's mom said Saturday they're going to local businesses and talking to people in this area in hopes of getting the word out about the case.
Michelle's step-father said the entire situation has been extremely frustrating.
They found her found phone and her SUV, but still no sightings of the mother of three.
She has been gone since Nov. 17.
The family has been organizing search parties on Saturdays. They will be out at the Lowes in Palm Bay all day Saturday.

She reminds me of Dina Thompson. Summer's mom. A Huge difference from Cindy.
I went to their website for Caylee. There is a link that says, "contact us." But, they have deleted the contact info. They have a PO Box for donations. I did a Zaba search on George last week and it shows both the Hope Spring address and the PO Box. I was going to email them but the only way is via mail to the PO Box. Of course, I could write them at their home addy but Nah...not worth my time. Wanted to let them know that I am so sorry for all they are going through and that I w/be in the area and wanted to meet them. Bold, I know but WTF..ya only live once.
If they are still searching for Michelle in Brevard County, I really want to help in any way I can. Even if it's just passing out fliers.

Michelle Parker not Found in Search; No Arrests Made
January 16, 2012 01:15 AM EST
The Michelle Parker search has continued over the weekend throughout Palm Bay, Florida. Unfortunately, the missing mother of three hasn't yet been found, which is seeming to become a common and disappointing occurrence. This case is still as mysterious as it was the day it broke in November of 2011, after the Orlando mom vanished after an airing of a pre-taped episode of The People's Court.
Dubbed The missing "People's Court Mom," Michelle Parker vanished around the end of November, and since her disappearance, there has been only one suspect. Dale Smith Jr. has a violent criminal record, and it was aired on The People's Court that he had been violent with Parker, whom he was suing for the cost of a lost engagement ring. Could Dale Smith Jr. had gone into a rage after the airing of the show, only to do something with the very woman he aired on national television with that day?
With her not being found yet, the speculation surrounding this case isn't dying down. That's especially since Dale Smith Jr.'s father was arrested recently on charges of drug manufacturing and possession of marijuana. This recent arrest, naturally, has the family of the missing woman worried. Nonetheless, a drug charge or two doesn't necessarily mean someone is connected to the disappearance or murder of a young woman.

Michelle Parker's Ex-Fiance Ceases Child-Support Payments
Judge Rules Payments to Missing Woman Stop
POSTED: 11:40 am EST January 19, 2012
UPDATED: 1:37 pm EST January 19, 2012
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Friends of missing woman Michelle Parker were on hand at the Orange County Courthouse Thursday as Dale Smith, Parker’s ex-finance, saw a judge about ceasing child support payments to her.
Parker vanished a week before Thanksgiving, and authorities said that Smith is the prime suspect in her disappearance.
Money had been coming out of Smith’s check automatically as child support for the couple's twins, and his attorney told the judge that needed to stop.
"Dale's not a wealthy man, it’s important that all funds available go toward supporting those children," Stanley Silver, Smith’s attorney, said.
The judge agreed that since Parker is missing, and Smith has custody, an automatic deduction seemed impractical.
The decision could change if Smith’s situation changes.
"Upon Michelle's reappearance, without any further court order, without any other hearing, the court can reinstate child support immediately," Silver said.
Dale Smith didn’t personally attend his hearing, which proved disappointing for a friend of Michelle Parker’s, who had questions for him.
"Why won't he take a lie detector test? If he's so innocent, why won't he take a lie detector test? What's the big deal? What does he have to hide?" Karlyn Moody said.
She says this whole ordeal has her emotionally drained.
"The trauma those kids are going through, right now--- not having their mother," Moody said. "I do wish Dale would fess up and tell us where Michelle is."
Parker's whereabouts remain a mystery.

Michelle Parker missing: New video shows missing mother hours before she vanished
Today is missing mother Michelle Parker's 34th birthday
By Bianca Prieto, Orlando Sentinel
9:59 a.m. EST, January 20, 2012
Orlando police released a video today of missing mother Michelle Parker taken hours before she vanished two months ago.
The video is the first bit of new information released by the department in weeks. Today is also the missing woman's 34th birthday.
Detectives said the two-and-a-half minute video was captured at a Casselberry fast-food restaurant at 12:22 p.m. on Nov. 17. The video shows what Parker was wearing that day and her Hummer H3 with the specialized GLOW decals on the windows.
The Orlando Sentinel is obtaining and processing the video right now.
Parker was reported missing by her family on the evening Nov. 17. She was last seen dropping of her twin toddlers with their father, Dale Smith II, at his home near Goldenrod Road. Her vehicle was found abandoned near the Mall at Millenia a day later. The custom decals had been removed.
Detectives said Parker's iPhone last pinged in the area of Orange Avenue and Oakridge Road around 8 p.m. the day she vanished, and was recovered underwater near the Nela Bridge in Belle Isle a few weeks later.
Police named Smith the prime suspect in her disappearance but have not charged him. He is currently caring for their 3-year-old twins. Parker's eldest son is now living with his father out-of-state.
Smith and Parker had a rocky relationship that was showcased on a pre-recorded episode of "The Peoples Court" where the couple settled a dispute over the lost engagement ring. The episode aired the just minutes before Parker dropped her children off with Smith.
Family and friends have spent countless hours searching for Parker and raising awareness about her disappearance. Police have searched waterways and lakes around Orange County to look for clues in Parker's disappearance.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a Florida Gators hooded sweat shirt and a silver cross necklace.
Tonight, friends and family will gather at the Hunter's Creek Ale House, 13536 John Young Parkway, to celebrate Parker's birthday and raise money for her children.
Detectives have received 750 tips in the case, and urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.

Re: Michelle Parker, 33 Disappears Following Airing Of 'The People's Court' Featuring Michelle & Her Ex/ Primary Suspect, Dale Smith, hired Attorney, Mark Nejame/ Dale Smith is given custody of their two children/ Michelle Parker's Cellphone Found
RLANDO, Fla. -- Police released a two and a half minute video Friday that they said shows Michelle Parker at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Fern Park three hours before she dropped her kids off on Nov. 17.
The video clearly shows what Parker was wearing the day of her disappearance and the Hummer she was driving, said officials.
"I've been doing pretty good, but when I saw that it makes me cry," said Yvonne Stewart, Parker's mother.
The Orlando Police Department said that detectives are following up on the more than 750 tips they have received but will not comment on anything else relating to the investigation.
"As usual we are looking for a tip and to her missing. But today is her 34th birthday so this is a way of keeping it out there and letting us know that this case we are not done with it," said Sgt. Vince Ogburn. "We are still looking for any type of leads that we can find to close it and give the family some closure as well."
Police said that this video is not a new video. They have released it in hopes of generating new leads. Stewart hopes this video will help find her missing daughter.
"It may, you never know what tips could come in when people see that today," said Stewart. "You just always have to have hope that somebody knows something and that somebody will know something and call. I hope they do."
Family and friends will gather Friday night to celebrate Parker's 34th birthday.
The celebration for Parker will be held at the Hunter's Creek Ale House on John Young Parkway at 7 p.m.
Parker has been missing for 64 days. Her ex-fiance, Dale Smith, has been named the prime suspect in her disappearance.

Police release new video of Michelle Parker
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — On Michelle Parker’s 34th birthday Orlando police released never-before-seen video from the day the missing mother disappeared.
The video shows Parker going through the drive-through of a fast-food restaurant on November 17, three hours before she dropped off her children at her ex-fiance's home. It was the last day Parker was seen.
Police released the video because they want to keep this in the public spotlight. So far they've received 750 tips. One of those tips led them to the videotape.
"We've gone through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and we had a goal she'd be with us, and she's not," said Gayle Parker, Michelle Parker’s stepmother.
Parker was at a KFC in Casselberry three hours before she dropped off her children with their father, Dale Smith. He remains the prime suspect in her disappearance. Her family says they don't understand why he doesn't do a better job of defending himself from police accusations.
"If it was me, and someone was accusing me of something I didn't do, I would do everything to tell my attorney find out who did this, to relieve me of the pressure," said Gayle Parker.
Police say that although the tape has been scrutinized closely, it didn't give them any more leads as to Parker’s whereabouts.
"It's nothing new as far as what she was wearing, the vehicle. That was put out immediately," said Sgt. Vince Ogburn of the Orlando Police Department.
For her family, seeing her again like this, on her birthday, is somewhat bittersweet. Seeing her again, even on grainy security video, is hard.
"So you try to be a little tough about, and not let it get to you too badly," said Gayle Parker.
Michelle's family will celebrate her birthday at a restaurant on John Young Parkway.
Police aren't saying whether they have any evidence that would result in any more large-scale searches.

Michelle Parker: DCF investigation into missing mom's children ends
Child welfare investigators have determined missing mother Michelle Parker's children were exposed to violence by their father, but do not have enough evidence to remove the children.
Florida Department of Children and Families concluded their work last week, which supports the original allegations that there was a history of violence between the pair, at times in front of the children, but does not have legal grounds to return to court, spokeswoman Carrie Hoeppner said.
"I think that it is understandable to express ongoing concern for these children given the circumstances surrounding them right now," Hoeppner said. "Any family in this situation would be under a significant stress. I think we as a community share that concern, and hope nothing more than that Michelle Parker will be reunited safely with her children and loved ones very soon."
The boy-girl twins have been living with their father, Dale Smith II, since their mother vanished Nov. 17 shortly after dropping them off at Smith's home in east Orlando.
On Nov. 29, a day after Orlando police named Smith the sole suspect in Parker's disappearance, DCF investigators obtained a court-order to remove the 3-year-old children from Smith and placed them in temporary protective custody with Parker's family.
At the time, DCF argued that the children were in imminent danger of being harmed by their father due to his history of violence with women, including their missing mother.
During a 45-minute emergency shelter hearing the following day, Orange Circuit Judge Thomas W. Turner heard from DCF about Smith's run-ins with the law, former addiction to a hallucinogenic drug, his dishonorable discharge from the military, the completion of a lengthy prison sentence on drug and domestic violence convictions and allegations from Parker's eldest child that Smith attacked their mother in front of all three children.
Turner ruled there was not enough evidence to support the removal and ordered that the children be returned to their father.
Prior to Parker's disappearance the children lived with their mother and grandmother, Yvonne Stewart, in Geneva. Since the hearing, Stewart and Smith have worked out a visitation agreement in which the children get to see their grandmother. Specific details about the agreement were not made public.
Parker, now 34, disappeared the same day a pre-taped episode of "The People's Court" aired in which Parker and Smith argued about a $5,000 engagement ring that got lost after she threw it at him during a fight. In May, Smith sued Parker in civil court, about the time the episode was taped.
The televised argument over the engagement ring may have been the most publicized trouble between the two, but was not their first legal dispute. Orange County court records show the couple had a rocky history.
In August 2009, Parker requested a domestic-violence injunction against Smith. She said in court papers that he was holding their then-15-month-old daughter when he cursed at her and broke the passenger-side window on her truck during an argument over the children.
Parker told the court that Smith previously had been violent with her and had threatened to kidnap their children. She also said Smith had problems with drugs and alcohol.
The injunction was dismissed Sept. 1, 2009. It is not clear why.
Smith was arrested several times during the 1990s. He pleaded no contest in 1990 to trespassing on school grounds and in 1992 to attempted aggravated battery. He entered a pretrial diversion in 1992 after being arrested on a charge of marijuana possession. He pleaded guilty in 1997 to battery.
In June 1996, Smith joined theU.S. Marine Corps. He was court-martialed in 2001 and found guilty of drug and domestic-battery charges, the military agency said. Smith was dishonorably discharged as a private in 2003.
Parker, a Winter Park High School graduate, was scheduled to work the night of her disappearance at a bartending job at The Barn in Sanford, but she never showed up.
Her abandoned Hummer was found Nov. 18 at an apartment complex near Conroy and Vineland roads. Decals for her mobile-tanning business had been removed from the windows. There has been no sign of her since she disappeared.
Police urge anyone with information about the case to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.

What a load of BS!! DCF is not doing those children any favors by leaving them with this sick, twisted POS.
IMHO, the ONLY reason he has the kids is he has a Very high profile attorney that can sway the court. MOO.
God forbid something happen to these poor children who are probably extremely confused and wondering where their mother is. God only knows what line of bs the "father" is feeding them. Makes me sick and Florida DCF should be ashamed of themselves, along w/this judge. If something happens to them while in the "care" of this POS "father", it's not like the courts did not know of his questionable past or even present. It's evident he has anger issues when he slammed into that cameraman all caught on video.

This judge needs to be checked out! It makes NO sense these kids wouldn't be in any danger when their Dad is who LE suspects (MOO) in Michelle's disappearance. Not just that but what Wrap said. The way he exploded at that camera man is probably nothing compared to what must happen behind closed doors.

Dale Smith Files Motion To Get Child Support Back
Prime Suspect In Parker Disappearance Says He Wants His $800 Back
POSTED: 4:47 pm EST February 13, 2012
UPDATED: 5:00 pm EST February 13, 2012
ORLANDO, Fla. -- This week will mark three months since the disappearance of Michelle Parker, a local mom who disappeared a day after appearing on an episode of the People's Court with her ex-fiancé Dale Smith.
Authorities said Smith, the prime suspect in Parker's disappearance, has filed new court papers to get back some child support money he paid Parker.
Orlando police said they have no new information in the search for Parker. Smith has already successfully petitioned to stop paying her child support, and now he wants back money he already paid after Parker went missing.
In a new motion, Smith said he desperately needs the $800 he paid each month for support of the twins he has with Parker, even after she went missing Nov. 17, 2011.
Police said Smith is the prime suspect in Michelle's disappearance but has not been charged.
"Is it difficult to see that the only suspect in Michelle's disappearance is looking to benefit financially by not paying the child support? I could see the public having a problem with that," said Matt Morgan, attorney for Parker's parents.
In the three months since that Parker disappeared, the family lawyer said Smith has been paying child support in to a state trust account and not to the Parker family.
"The money's just sitting there. I understand where he's coming from. He's the primary caretaker. He does need money to care for the children," Morgan said.
Morgan said Smith has also recently lost his job. Smith's supporters asked for money on his behalf via Facebook.
In January, the custody situation became even more problematic when Smith's father Dale Smith Sr. was arrested on marijuana charges.
Morgan said the relations between the two families have grown strained once again.

Michelle Parker's Ex Awarded Money
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The prime suspect in the disappearance of Michelle Parker was in court on Friday asking to be reimbursed for the child support he paid the missing mother.
The court gave Parker's ex-fiance, Dale Smith, back $1,672 that he paid to Parker since she went missing.
Smith's attorneys said that he is now unemployed and on state assistance. The attorneys told a hearing officer that Smith needs that money desperately now that he is raising alone the twins he had with Parker.
Smith was silent both times he was asked by WESH 2 if he is benefiting financially by no longer having to pay child support to Parker.
"Mr. Smith is this $1,600 judgment a benefit of Michelle Parker's disappearance?" asked WESH 2's Bob Kealing.
Smith confirmed to the court that he needed the money to take care of his children since winning back custody of them in November.
Police continue to investigate Parker's disappearance. She went missing on Nov. 17, 2011.
Smith's criminal attorneys said that they will speak about him being the only named suspect soon.
"We've been conducting our own investigation. They've been conducting theirs," said Mark NeJame. "It will be in the very near future we will have public comment."
The court granted Smith's attorneys request to expedite the refund. He could receive the money as early as next week.

Michelle Parker: Chief Rooney says police are 'connecting the dots'
By Amy Pavuk, Orlando Sentinel
12:31 p.m. EDT, May 24, 2012
Several dozen law enforcers gathered Thursday in Orlando as part of a new panel created to review the Michelle Parker missing-person case.
Parker disappeared six months ago, when she dropped off her two youngest children with their father, Dale Smith Jr., at his southeast Orlando home.
That day, a pre-taped episode of "The People's Court" aired, featuring a dispute between Parker and Smith over a lost engagement ring.
Divers discovered Parker's cell phone in a lake in Belle Isle, but there has been no other sign of the 34-year-old mother.
Smith remains the prime suspect in the case, Orlando Police Chief Paul Rooney said.
"All we're trying to do is connect the dots," Rooney told reporters outside the meeting, held at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Orlando headquarters. "Today, we're hoping to do that."
The law enforcers on the panel are not familiar with the case, and officials hope a fresh review will help Orlando police investigating Parker's disappearance.
Those on the panel include representatives from the State Attorney's Office, crime labs, and Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
Rooney said they will meet as often as they need to.
"We are very hopeful," Rooney said. "We're going to continue to be relentless."
Parker's mother, Yvonne Stewart, also spoke to reporters outside the meeting and gave another tearful, public plea for people to come forward with information that helps detectives find her daughter.
"Do something redeeming, something honorable, so our family can have our girl back," Stewart said.
"People out there in Orlando know where Michelle Parker is," Stewart said. "I just hope they will tell us."

Re: Michelle Parker, 33 Disappears Following Airing Of 'The People's Court' Featuring Michelle & Her Ex/ Primary Suspect, Dale Smith, hired Attorney, Mark Nejame/ Dale Smith is given custody of their two children/ Michelle Parker's Cellphone Found
Orlando, Florida - It's been an incredibly difficult journey for Yvonne Stewart.
She is the mother of missing Orlando mom, Michelle Parker, who disappeared last November after an episode of The People's Court where the 34-year-old appeared during a dispute over an engagement ring.
So far, the case has grown cold. Until now.
There is now a "dream team" of sorts taking a second look at the case. Orlando Police call it a "fresh approach."
The team of 45 people met at FDLE in Orlando Thursday for an hour, talking about Michelle's disappearance. At that forum, there were experts from all walks of life - detectives, attorneys and crime lab technicians, to name a few.
Michelle's mother was sobbing, wracked with both grief and anger. She was shaking and crying as she addressed the room, "My frustration lies in the fact that I'm a mother, this is my firstborn child and I don't know where she is, and I don't know who did it for sure."
It was a mother's tearful plea for her daughter's safe return, knowing the truth and fearing the worst
She begged, "If there's anybody out there who has any idea where Michelle might be, Please call crime line."
That number is 1-800-423-TIPS.
"They're looking for any way to move the case forward," said longtime homicide Detective Michael Bailey from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
He knows all about being on a panel like this. Detective Bailey has been a part of several forums just like these.
Detective Bailey said, "It's a major doing to put one of these together, to get everyone together at the same time, to present this. I'm sure this a major priority for them over there, so more than likely trying to bring this together. And, you want to pull all the stops out."
So far, Orlando detectives have recovered Michelle's phone and her car, but nothing else.
Now, they're focus is her fiance, Dale Smith, Jr., the prime suspect in the case, and the father of her twins.
Chief Paul Rooney from Orlando Police said, "It makes it difficult because all we're trying to do is connect the dots. And there's just a few more dots to connect to resolve this."
Detective Bailey says, "It's all part of thinking outside the box."
He says it's worth it to be on forums like this one, knowing that other experts may shed light on something that could be the one clue they need.
"When you have very limited information or limited evidence, it's a very good thing to do," said Detective Bailey.
Detective Bailey has served on forums as far away as Philadelphia. He says it is a good way to not only solve cases, but make contacts with law enforcement all over the world.
Meanwhile, the team in Orlando plans to meet again in the future. It is wonderful news for Michelle's mother who just wants her daughter found.
If you know where Michelle Parker is, please call 1-800-423-TIPS.

The mother of missing Florida woman Michelle Parker, 34, spoke out Friday about her concern for her grandchildren as a new review of the evidence pointed back to where authorities first looked — Dale Smith II, Parker’s 40-year-old ex-fiance and the father of her 4-year-old twins.
Parker’s mother, Yvonne Stewart, and sister, Lauren Erickson, spoke to TODAY’s Ann Curry about the condition of Parker’s children since her disappearance last November. “They are not the same children that they were six months ago, I’ll tell you that,” Stewart said. “They have a flat look on their face, they always ask about their mom, they aren’t real happy sometimes to go home. It’s just heart-wrenching.”
Stewart does not get to see her grandchildren as often as she would like, because their custody remains with Smith, named a person of interest in the case. The twins turned 4 just a couple of days ago, and neither Stewart nor Erickson got to see them. The family does not communicate with Smith directly and instead speak to him through his lawyer.
Mom Michelle Parker went missing on Nov. 17, shortly after her contentious appearance on "The People's Court" aired.
Stewart says she’s only seen her grandchildren three times this year, and that “it’s not enough, and there’s no grandparent rights laws in the state of Florida. You need to seriously consider people in situations like ours that we should have court-mandated visitation. I’m not asking for custody, but I’m asking to be a part of their lives. That’s what Michelle would want.”
‘People’s Court’ appearance
Parker vanished last November, the day she and Smith appeared on “The People’s Court” to argue over a $5,000 engagement ring, which she was ordered by the court to pay half of. “[Smith] gets pretty malicious and vindictive,” she told the court that day. “He said that he wanted his ring, so I took it off, and I threw it at him.”
The last known image of Parker was taken from surveillance cameras at a drive-through hours before she disappeared. Her iPhone was then found in an Orange County lake and her Hummer SUV was discovered abandoned at a mall a day after her disappearance.
Smith has always been a person of interest in the case, though police have never formerly charged him. Stewart said, “It’s really difficult for me to have the underlying fear that he is responsible for Michelle being missing and knows where she is and won’t tell me.”
Police chief Paul Rooney of the Orlando Police Department said, “This case, we do have a very, very serious person of interest. We all know that. We’ve had this person of interest from day one, and all we need to do is fit that missing piece of the puzzle.” A new police panel made up from investigators all over the state gathered to look at clues this past Thursday.
“They had 45 experts from all over the country,” Stewart said. “They know how to crack cases, and we’re gonna find that missing dot.”
Dale Smith has denied any involvement. His lawyer said Smith “remains concerned for Parker, the mother of his children.”
Parker’s sister Lauren Erickson told TODAY that she hopes Smith isn’t the person behind her sister’s disappearance, saying, “it would be very unfortunate to have those children grow up and be told one day that their mother disappeared because of their father.”

OMG. I feel SO sorry for Yvonne! I cannot imagine the pure HELL she is going through. She said she raised the twins since they were 13 days old and has only seen them 3 times since Michelle went missing. I would be literally tearing my hair out between not knowing where my daughter is or even if she's alive and not being able to see my grandchildren. This poor woman!

Today is month number 9! Someone out there can end this all right now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEEEEEE make the pain stop! WHOEVER KNOWS..... Y-O-U...CAN do that for the many who's heart has been broken looking for answers. Be anonymous...MAKE THAT CALL TO CRIMELINE AT 1-800-423-8477....NOW! Do the right thing!

Search efforts back on for missing mom Michelle Parker
ORLANDO, Fla. — WFTV learned Tuesday night search efforts are back on for a missing Orlando mother.
It's been almost a year since Michelle Parker disappeared. Countless searches have turned up nothing.
But a Facebook page dedicated to finding Parker announced a search scheduled for Nov. 4, based on recommendations the FBI has made to Orlando police.
Police are asking for search volunteers.
Parker's ex-fiancé, Dale Smith Jr., is the only suspect police have named.
