Human trafficking is a huge problem in this country and with those dogs hitting on that motel is a huge red flag for me. That could explain how she just seemed to vanish into thin air. Oh I hope this beautiful little girl wasn't sold to a human trafficker because of the hell she would be going thru' now. It's hard to even think about.

Except IIRC the dogs didn't track her there, that was mispoken by BD......LE took the dogs there to see if they could find her scent since the kids stated they would go there to get wifi, but I did read some of the searchers tha stayed in that hotel had alot of trouble getting wifi.

BTH, I haven't read any different. This is the first I have heard that the kids would go there to get wifi. I was under the impression that it was fact per LE the dogs trailed her scent to a bottom floor door at a local motel.

Sadly I don't think anything is fact except Hailey is missing and mom is still involved with the suspect. I will find the link about the dogs, but the wifi link will take some time to dig up, BRB

Kampfer also clarified the reports about dogs tracking Hailey to the Western Suites motel.



“The dogs did not trail Hailey’s scent to the motels,” He said. “They took the dogs to different places trying to pick up the scent.* Motels are good places to start. The dogs did get a hit.”



Kampfer went on to explain that* investigators cannot determine when a trail has been made. 
Hailey could have been there a couple of days before and the dogs would still have picked up her scent or someone else wearing an article of Hailey’s clothing would have the same results.


“Bloodhounds are scent specific,” Warden Matt Kennolly said. “The only thing we need is a scent article for the person we’re looking for. The dog will track only that scent.”


“Our dogs can run 48-72 hours, but I have seen scent dogs up to 7-8 days. There are so many environmental factors that come into play,” Kennelly said.

No possible lead has been overlooked as investigators have checked almost every surveillance camera in town, according to Kampfer. “It’s amazing what they have checked.

Take your time..don't go nuts looking for the wifi link. I have to agree..the only things we do know is that Hailey is missing and that BD and SA are "friendly".

This case is making everyone crazy as we Don't have facts. It reminds me more and more of the HaLeigh Cummings case. Even with her case, we had more facts than we do on this case.

No matter what, I cannot have any member defaming another member without proof. Bottom line.

IMHO, I think at the least BD knows more than she is saying. I have thought that since watching her on NG. It was her flat effect that got to me. This is MOO.

It IS confusing, way back in the beginning of this case we all had discussions on this very thing, the hits on Hailey's scent at the motel and tracking or not tracking her scent to the motel. Either way, I think I understand it to mean her scent was found at the motel. I don't know what it all means.

ITA her scent was there, no doubt.....just not tracked according to Kampfer. I do consider the possibility of human trafficking but how does that explain the multitude of inconsistencies in their stories, the failed polys.......unless they know and are involved, that is so hard for me to believe but it certainly wouldn't be the first time a parent traded their child for drugs ,remember Shaniya-she could have been trafficked by the man she was given to had she lived

Can you tell us what happened at the vigil? I just watched the video on KTAB and I have to be honest with you, not the best way to show gratitude for a group who has been out searching for your child non-stop, unless that is what Billie truly wants. She seemd more concerened about what they thought about Shawn than Hailey which is the norm we have seen. Obviously places/locations must be ruled out so why would she be upset with them searching fields, I am pretty sure Brad was searching fields too along with the other search groups. I have never seen anyone so ungrateful in my life, she has been donated a car, her brother a you told us bought her son a car, she gets new furniture, she has had a chitload of donations, not just money but groceries etc., a grant for her bills from Denia Thompson and has she EVER shared a dime of that money for the ppl searching. Her gravy train is coming to an end and one day she will have to return to some type of employment, and I for one wouldn't be very happy with her working in any capacity in a health care field nor would I allow myself or any family member to be a patient where she is working. I have seen more emotion from ppl when their dog is lost than Billie. What a shame- poor Hailey NEVER stood a chance

Freda Radcliff is one of "Hailey's Angels," a group of six who organized a volunteer appreciation dinner this weekend for search crews combing through the fields for the missing Colorado City teen.

"We weren't appreciated for what we tried to do for them," said Radcliff.

Radcliff says there's only one way to describe it.

"A big fiasco," she said.

The culprit, a video created by "Hailey's Angels" that chronicled search efforts from the 13-year old's disappearance to now.

"They showed me, Clint, our family, little kids who were there, video of where they go to search in these ugly fields and these ugly creeks for our baby," said Billie Dunn, Hailey's mother.

Hailey's mother says for her, the hour-long video tribute stirred some negative emotions. She did not like how her daughter's story was presented.

"We're hoping to find Hailey alive," Dunn said, "that's what we want, we don't want to be associated with that."

Volunteers say a search crew member trained by one national agency asked "Hailey's Angels" to turn off the video halfway through.

"We will never do anything like that again," said Radcliff.

"Although it was mostly 'Klaaskids' and 'Team Amber' that showed up they weren't recognized at all," said Dunn.

Dunn says she knows that "Hailey's Angels" maintain Hailey's bridge in Dunn, Texas everyday, but says the feeling she got at the appreciation dinner made her uneasy.

"They are hoping that Shawn [Adkins] did something horrible to Hailey," said Dunn, "and that they're going to prove it, and prove it to me."

"We are not out here for Billie Jean," said Radcliff, "we are out here for Hailey, always have been and for nobody else."

Radcliff and the rest of "Hailey's Angels" say they wish everyone luck, but for now...

"As for our search efforts, we're finished," she said.

After 8-weeks of searching everyday, Radcliff says it's time to get back to their own lives.

While "Hailey's Angels" are no longer searching the area, trained volunteers with national search agencies like Klaaskids, The Laura Recovery Center, and Team Amber will help lead search parties every Friday and Saturday.

CZ - I cannot answer your question, that was a shock to me. My opinion is that rumors run wild, some are just mean and I've tried to point that out. You can see who was the one talking about your family.

And so Hailey's Angels were supposed to recognize Klaaskids and Team Amber and not BILLIE DUNN? I would think it would be Clint and Billie Jean recognizing ALL searchers.

Again, where are the other teams searching? Are they searching the fields and abandonded homes? Pretty sure I have seen pics of Brad there myself. Obviously HA's are not a so called professional search team, but they have dedicated a tremendous amount of time haven't they in the cold, snake ridden fields. But there is no way around what Billie stated on the video about the searchers thinking Shawn is guilty (with good reason I might add), but why go on air and even acknowledge the fact that is bothered her so much, it again reflects very poorly on her priorities......she made her choice long ago sadly and I fear it will haunt her forever if she as a conscience

Doesn't seem too fair to get slammed while I am not even here to defend myself. I take great offense to being accused of having knowledge of Hailey's disappearance. The drug accusation doesn't bother me so much. Actually is kind of laughable. Not worried about either one.

Although I will say I am not up to an argument. I am not going to get into a pissing match with someone who I couldn't care less what they think of me.

I will say that I am very disappointed in the way things have gone. I have not 'disappeared' when hard questions appear, as some have implied, and I have always answered everyone's questions to the best of my knowledge and as nicely as I could. Yes, sometimes it is a day or two before I look in here, or answer a question... and yes, sometimes I do ignore questions. I don't feel obligated to answer anything - and if it is simply an argumentative question, I will ignore it.

I realize that there are many people who have made up their minds about what happened to Hailey, even though they have never met her, her family, or her friends. I am not trying to change anyone's mind. I am only trying to temper some of the hateful, gossipy rumors that are flying around.

Only one of those questions can be verified and that's about the tv. I personally called Alco this am. No I wasn't honest with them but they answered my question. When they answered I said I needed to check on a lay away. That Billie Dunn had a lay away and I had offered to pay it off and needed to know how much was owed. They asked me questions, layaway number, phone number attached to the lay away which I didn't have any of those so they searched by name. The amount owed is $557.74. I asked if it was for a tv. They stated yes. I asked how long it had been on lay away and was told it's less than 10 days old. Folks that's your hard earned donations at work.

Billie Jean Dunn your daughter is most likely in those "ugly" fields..those "ugly" creeks..ask Marc Klaas because that is exactly where his precious Polly was found.. and damn it if it were not for those determined and kind hearted searchers{much like those who've busted their ass EVERYDAY FOR WEEKS to find Hailey}.. if not for those ppl Polly would not have been located and been able to be put to rest with grace and dignity as Marc and her mother saw fit!

Billie said what she did because that is what they tell her to her face. You think y'all are ugly to her, ha. And the only reason she said anything is because the 'voice' of that group called the reporter asking to be interviewed. The reporter (like everyone else from around here) knows how these few particular people are. So she called Billie to see what happened. And of course, Billie gave her the phone numbers of all the 'credible' people who were at the dinner. They were contacted.

btw, I think Carrie is a wonderful person. Her presence here was very much appreciated. I wonder - if she had a totally different opinion and take on Billie from what you have formed.... would it sway you at all?

Only one of those questions can be verified and that's about the tv. I personally called Alco this am. No I wasn't honest with them but they answered my question. When they answered I said I needed to check on a lay away. That Billie Dunn had a lay away and I had offered to pay it off and needed to know how much was owed. They asked me questions, layaway number, phone number attached to the lay away which I didn't have any of those so they searched by name. The amount owed is $557.74. I asked if it was for a tv. They stated yes. I asked how long it had been on lay away and was told it's less than 10 days old. Folks that's your hard earned donations at work.

Unbelievable. And yet, not !!!!!!!

Taking donations and buying herself a tv when she can't even help with gas money for the people searching for her daughter in the "ugly" fields and "ugly" creeks!!!

This should be announced to all of the searchers so they are clear about the mother of Hailey.

Haileys Angels have been a dedicated group of women working hard searching every single day for Hailey.

I am sure they are frustrated that their efforts have not been fruitful. It is hard beating the bushes every single day with no thank you and no good job.

The compensation would be finding Hailey.

Nobody wants to find a dead Hailey but the fact is Hailey is most likely gone and she needs to be found.

Strange that BD is able to create this chaos between searchers. When they stop searching..what then?

Since I believe in destiny if it is meant to be Hailey will be found if only one person puts on his or her boots and goes out into a field one day.

CZ maybe you will answer this question. Is a 55 inch tv on lay away at Alco? Please don't say you will ask BD. You know..you are there daily. Just a simple yes or no will suffice.

Billie said what she did because that is what they tell her to her face. You think y'all are ugly to her, ha. And the only reason she said anything is because the 'voice' of that group called the reporter asking to be interviewed. The reporter (like everyone else from around here) knows how these few particular people are. So she called Billie to see what happened. And of course, Billie gave her the phone numbers of all the 'credible' people who were at the dinner. They were contacted.

btw, I think Carrie is a wonderful person. Her presence here was very much appreciated. I wonder - if she had a totally different opinion and take on Billie from what you have formed.... would it sway you at all?

I can see if I can get her now, and get back to you......but I have to be frank with you, the fact someone got drunk after almost 8 weeks of searching their arse off in horrible conditions and then got drunk and said something to Billie doesn't shock me, she/he whomever it was probably hd enough alcohol to let her true feelings unload, many many would love to do the same I guarantee. Was it appropriate IF it happened at a vigil, of course not, but neither were the 2 cases of beer taken in to Billie's house on NYE when Shawn stated they had friends over for drinks, that IS appaling. Is it appropriate she still is involved and feels bad for Shawn because ppl are mean to him, HELL NO! He is the suspect in the disappearance of her child, yet he comes first all the time, everytime. Can you see how disgusting appears? Most parents would walk thru hell for their kids, not put them thru hell. What might sway me is if we could get truthful answers from Billie, if she passed a poly, if she ditced Shawn. You once asked what would you do if you had a husband/BF accused of hurting your child, I told you exactly what I did and what any loving mother would do, I lost every penny I had, as close to bankrupt as possible, fought like hell to make sure my ex never saw my son again, moved across the country and changed his name, and if this han't worked I'd have taken him out of the country because my son comes first, and sure as he77 would over a BF that threatened to kill me, and scared Hailey. Can you understand why ppl feel the way they do at all?

YW, and it totally makes me sick.....again a freeminivan, a new set of couches, a car for her son, grants to pay her bills, a new tv ?? Way too much profit in having a missing child anymore and it little things like this that would infuriate a searcher too, they suspend their life for almost 2 months to try and find a precious child when her mother and BF of mommy won't cooperate, sits in her house watching tv and had never once been to the bridge to thank these women......talking about spitting in someone's face

BTH personally I don't think they get it and I don't think they ever will.

They will defend, defend, defend.

The odd's of Hailey being alive are slim to none if we think she was murdered. I still think there is a good possibility she was sold to Sex Traffickers. I know this is hard to comprehend but it is a possibility and would explain why no one has been able to find her. MOO!

Well, KTXS out of Abilene is trying to get a copy of the slide show. I really hope they can get the entire video, and will put it online. It is too long to air on TV - it played for about an hour before someone turned it off. And by the little indicatior line at the bottom of the screen, it was only about halfway over.

I would be very interested to read everyone's opinions if it is made pubic. Besides many, many duplicate pictures of stagnant water, holes in the ground, trees, roads, bridges, gates, drainage ditches, and crevices, there are a ton of pictures of members of one of the search groups posing for grinning pictures of themselves, pictures of their cars, etc. Oh, and they did remember to throw in a few pictures of Hailey.

The big deal is this: this was supposed to be an appreciation dinner for everyone searching for Hailey, and a candlelight vigil for Hailey. No one was recognized besided the group that hosted... and they only recognized the core people. There was no candlelight vigil.

The chaplain of the AL did say a very nice prayer for the searchers and Hailey before the meal. And besides a select handful of hateful people, everyone was pleasant to one another.

Billie did not ask for the slideshow to be stopped. She did not ask someone else to ask for it to be stopped. She sat quietly and watched for as long as she could, and then quietly got up and walked outside. She was not the first person to walk out.... half of the group was outside by the time we got out there. And she was not the last person to get up, either.

She and Clint stood quietly by while someone ranted at them, shaking her finger in their faces. Neither one of them argued or raised their voices. Both of them voiced their appreciation to the searchers.

It was nearly everyone else there who was vocal about how this dinner went. Not Billie or Clint. And HA didn't decide to stop searching. They were given a choice to train with one of the national organizations to actually search, and they declined.

BTH Thank you so much for confirming what as I feared is just more of the very "ugly" truth{funny how BJD calls where these ppl have busted their ass searching as "ugly"}..when what's "ugly" is everything about Billie Jean Dunn..tho I speak not of petty "ugly" such as her outward appearance which by all accounts is unattractive..bought tits or not..she still at the heart of it all is as ugly as homemade sin{as my grandma used to say}.. No wonder she never could "buy up" even with her moonlighting job at Jaguars..

I'm angry as hell and I completely understand how Hailey's Angels are feeling{sorry the mud slinging brought here about those women just doesn't fly nor hold the weight of a grain of salt of the mouth from which it comes}..Fact is we don't give a damn what ANY searchers "reason" is for hauling their ass out to CCity and surrounding areas everyday..Just so long as they're out their searching..

And I have a feeling that once the anger subsides that Billie so easily brings out in ppl with her bullsh*t that pours from that mouth..once it subsides and they realize that its only left to ppl such as themselves to search and find Hailey..because fact is the person who calls herself Hailey's "mom" won't get off her "ugly" used-up ass from staying plopped on those "new" couches w/the POS masked lover as they "comfortably" live each day wasted breathing the air that the beautiful child that she birthed ought to be breathing...you know these POs will not lift a finger except to the remote control or to pop the next top off a beer..and its only ppl such as Hailey's Angels that'll be the one to find Hailey.. I truly think they won't give up..They'll rise above BJD's bullsh*t and continue the fight to ensure Hailey's justice..
