I have heard two rumors. One was she sold the van for $300.00. I also heard she gave the van to her mother because something was wrong with it mechanically.

While law enforcement sorts out the truth while trying to track down Hailey, her mother tells KTAB News she's clinging to memories of better times. When KTAB's Priscilla Luong caught up with Billie Dunn Tuesday, she was thumbing through one of Hailey's old scrapbooks.

"That's hard also; I'm only sending one kid (to school)," said Dunn. "And I'm only really expecting one kid home."

Many are questioning missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn's mother's decision to cut off contact with her boyfriend, Shawn Adkins.

"Why, almost three months after your 13-year-old daughter goes missing? Why not do it that first day," Boyd questioned on Sunday.

Dunn said Adkins can't be on her property for a year under the order. She said she filed it after investigators told her about threats they found in his phone.

"Whenever Hailey first went missing, I think she should have put it on him then. That's what I think any mom should do," Boyd said.

"Everything that has happened is a little suspicious to a lot of the community. All we want is answers," she said.

I have told BD has been seen driving the car for the past two weeks. I am not sure who it is registered to.
I did not take a pic. I will be back in the area in a day or two and will take a pic and post it.

Billie Jean wants answers. Why? She knows the answers. I'll tell you why. Billie Jean is saying she wants to know what the police know. As much as she has tried to lead us to believe she is in constant contact with the investigators, most everyone now knows that isn't true.

And I love how Billie Jean always minimizes to "a little" . Her pill billie speak is annoying. It's like she is answering a question that she wasn't asked!

Just read on another site that LE was really ticked at local media for being soft on BD. They used PH because he asked BD the hard questions. They were tired of BD using the media by calling them each time she wanted to say something and not be questioned in return.

I tend to believe this.

They were discussing all the beautifying Billie has done over at the Scared Monkey's forum. If you look at her hair when she is in the lovely orange jump suit, you can see she has major highlights and her hair is layered in the back and it looks like she has extensions.

I remember lots of locals posting on FB about seeing Billie in a new car after the van was gone. Wonder if it was another donated vehicle or if she bought it? Curious...

P.s. Billie definitely got a new hairstyle and streaks to match her backyard tan; that was obvious from the perp walk video. If she had it done professionally, I wonder what the stylists think when she strolls in? I'm not suggesting that she shouldn't be able to have transportation or keep herself up, I just think it's suspicious how she keeps "upgrading" things despite claims that she's broke and is not using donation money.

It looks like she did something to her hair. Looks like some highlights (not good ones) and at least a new haircut. I like to get my hair done to but I am not sure I would be worrying about my hair if my daughter had been missing for 3 months.

I would love to know this, too. Maybe she cashed in her 401K from the hospital. I doubt she is still employed. Just a thought.

Her hair looks thicker to me. Same length as before but more of it. Definitely highlighted.

There was a rumor out there that someone was taking her for a day of beauty because she was so stressed and all. But this is a rumor.

Tanning is so stressful.

I really wonder how Shawn Adkins' family is looking at all of this. If they are not involved in anything (and aside from Corey, imo, there's no reason to think they are), how does the family deal with this kind of thing? I mean, they know he's at least guilty on the porn because it's not their's. They know he's the suspect in the disappearance of his deceptive older lover's daughter. They know he's being watched like a hawk by LE. Do they feel guilty he turned out like he did? Do they want to kick him out, but know he has nowhere to go? Are they encouraging him to confess and turn himself in or are they taking the Anthony's route? To be a fly on the wall... It's gotta feel like a nightmare.

TBT I believe there is also a younger brother living at momma house.

I'm thinking that since a grand jury is going to convene on 3/24 that there won't be any arrests until after that. LE has to process all of the images that were found on the various devices and figure out who they belong to, who if anyone they were sent to and if any of the child porn/beastialty was home grown and if so try to ID who was in these.
I don't have anything to base this on like a link or a reported rumor but I don't know what other reason there could be for the delay.
IF LE cannot confirm that the memory stick or whatever else could have been found in Billie's home was her's then I don't think they'll be arresting her for child porn.

'That's right. Forgot Shawn's brother is just a little older than David. Both young men have had some real winners as family role models; hope they can both somehow manage to forge reasonably productive and healthy lives. They sure won't have normal ones thanks to Shawn and Billie. At least Shawn's at his grandmother's and not living with his young brother at his mom's house, and David's out from under Billie's roof.

I guess feeding and housing Shawn Adkins won't be up to his family much longer...

My theory on the arrest of BJD last week:

I believe BJD and SA were enjoying the day getting high (possibly meth) when the Officers arrived.
BD had no choice but to delay the officers so that SA could dispose of the drugs while she spoke with them.
After signing the consent to search form, the Officers were allowed in. SA had plenty of time to dispose of it all.
The pics of BJD the day she was released seem to verify she was recently on a binge of some type.
This is my theory and I certainly have no way to verify it.

Can someone explain to me how Clint Dunn can support Billie Dunn after everything he has heard and seen? She has lied to everyone and has been involved with Shawn thru this whole ordeal. Hailey told her grandmother, Clint's mother, that she was afraid of Shawn.

I've lost all respect for Clint.

But that makes me wonder if they were that chummy when the officers came to the door I wonder what LE told Billie that made her file that No Tresspass paperwork before she was released from jail?

Nobody else has been able to talk any sense into BD.

It makes me so sad thinking of what Hailey might have gone to Billie with and Billie just overlooked everything she said.

Sheriff: Dunn and Adkins Met Up Over Weekend

Just a few days after the mother of Hailey Dunn claimed to have cut off ties with her former boyfriend and the only named suspect in her daughter's disappearance, law enforcement says the pair met in Scurry County over the weekend.

Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs says his investigators have learned Billie Dunn and Shawn Adkins met up in Snyder on Saturday evening.

On Friday, Dunn revealed she filed a protective order that would keep Adkins off her property. Toombs confirmed the filing took place but says this hasn't kept the pair from meeting elsewhere.

In response to Sheriff Toombs comments, Billie Dunn told KRBC's Jessica Reyes the accusations were not true. She says she and Adkins haven't seen each other since her arrest on Thursday.

Over the weekend, many of the volunteer searchers questioned exactly why Dunn would choose to file a protective order at this point in the investigation.

According to the Snyder Daily News, an entry on the blotter at the Scurry County Law Enforcement Center Sunday afternoon stated a woman called and asked to speak to an officer on the telephone in reference to both Dunn and Adkins being together at the caller’s residence looking for someone.
The officer responding stated there was not a vehicle at the location and no contact was made.

Does this mean that the police are not watching her and Shawn? The police released this story about them meeting based on a phone call ? I'm confused.

The phone call from "whoever" was on Sunday. Shawn and Billie met on Saturday night and then must have met again on Sunday.
Of course Billie said they DIDN'T meet on Saturday night. Who ya gonna believe?

Usually when you hear somebody has "lawyered up" in a case you say "Aw Shucks" because you won't get to hear anymore.
