Yep. I have had 2 very unproductive days. With 2 little ones and 2 teens I know I can't do this. I was up reading till 1:30 AM. I to am the typr of person right is right and wrong is wrong. Honestly I read it on one of the blogs. They talked about a compound of some sort that Baez and Mason have in CA and their promise to "set her up" when she walked out of the jail a free woman.

Talk is cheap but that is what I read and it makes sense to me.

I am sure her job will be in writing a book and managing a movie they will make about her and her life story.

Now it is money time. We will see just who wishes to profit and who has integrity.

I was suprised Jeff A had the strength to make all the talk shows today.

I was suprised that one juror was offering to talk for money.

I was not suprised Morgan was hot on her tail. He is like a bulldog holding onto a piece of meat. I don't blame him a bit. He and Zeniada smell money. Was she wronged? Who knows. There are lots of Zeniadas in Florida that did not hire a lawyer and sue.

The feds won't wait long for their money but I think Baez and Mason will pony up money to keep them quiet.

Honestly I think Marcia Clark is wrong. Casey Anthony did reach celebrity status. She became one from the moment this all began with the 911 call from a screaming mother. Then a lying, angry father. Add a brother crying out CMA I Love you at the memorial.

Add Melich the beloved cop and all the young peoples life and lifestyle we got to see up close and personal.

Casey Anthony is a looker and quite confident. Caylee Anthony was a beautiful little girl and America's sweetheart.

They did achieve celebrity status. Like it or not.

What next I ask? I am pretty much fried on the Anthonys. My eyes, my brain and my heart needs a break from Anthony news.

Cindy surely knew - as did half the nation - that in the absence of premeditation, jurors could not convict Casey of first-degree murder.
Now we have Casey's shocking acquittal. The 2-year old Caylee's body was discovered 15 houses from the Anthony home in a wooded swamp five months after her disappearance. Traces of chloroform, along with the pungent odor of human decomposition, were discovered in Casey’s car trunk, where the prosecution argued Caylee’s body was left to decompose for several days before her remains were bagged and dumped in the swamp.

It sure looks like Cindy may have negotiated for and won back the life of her only daughter whose victory she did not linger to celebrate as she and her husband quietly slipped out the courtroom door as the last of the verdict was read.

“I searched chloroform” Cindy told the jury panel.

Along with the term “chloroform,” the words “neck breaking” and “chest injuries” appeared as search terms on Casey's computer months before Caylee’s 2008 disappearance. As a computer expert for the prosecution testified, someone deleted these searches from the hard drive.

"I was searching for 'chlorophyll' because I was worried that it might affect my dogs. I was worried about them eating bamboo," Cindy explained to the jury. She added, “A friend of mine was in a car accident, and I looked up certain injuries.”

As for “neck breaking,” Cindy offered up this explanation: "I did not search for neck breaking, but there was a pop up for a YouTube video of a skateboarder doing a 'neck-breaking' stunt."

Cindy's sworn testimony on the damning search terms blindsided prosecutors who claimed in their opening statement that Casey Anthony, bent on murder, was searching for ways to kill her own child.

A Mother's Sacrifice?
Cindy’s testimony put her own freedom in jeopardy, exposing her to perjury charges. To counter Cindy's unlikely version of events, prosecutors put a hospital record keeper on the stand. Cindy, a hospital nurse, was at work, logged on and adding to patients’ records on Gentiva Health’s computer system on the days she claimed to have been at home, searching for broken necks and deadly chemical compounds.

The computer searches were a key piece of the state’s circumstantial case against Casey, pointing to the use of chloroform to subdue the toddler, and duct tape to suffocate her. It was the cold-hearted search for chloroform, the prosecution contended, that proved premeditation and could send Casey to the death house.

If the jury bought Cindy Anthony's version of events - or if it raised in their minds a reasonable doubt - the prosecution's theory of the entire case could fall victim to a lie.

The revelation was a stunner to courtroom watchers when Cindy told the jury, "I searched for chloroform." Cindy’s statements, made to a packed courtroom, shocked that surprisingly large and growing part of the population that had set aside all other "entertainments" to follow the "Tot Mom" trial. Casey didn’t search for chloroform; Grandma did. If convicted of felony murder, Casey faced capital punishment. But after her mother’s sworn testimony, all bets were off.

Bob Massi, a criminal defense attorney in Las Vegas, afterward told Fox News that Cindy’s testimony was “an example of unconditional love that has been misguided. I think we have a situation here where a mother will do anything to save her daughter. I think she fell on her sword.”

Legal commentator Dan Abrams also voiced his opinion when he told ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “The best evidence that the prosecutors have about premeditation is the computer searches. If you're able to negate [them] in any way, shape or form, you've done a good job of trying to have these jurors potentially focus on aggravated manslaughter as opposed to premeditated murder."
In the end, even the lesser charge of manslaughter fell victim to Grandma's improbable and controverted testimony. Did she hope only to save Casey's life rather than to relieve her of all responsibility for a crime Cindy believed her daughter committed? (CNN) -- One of the prosecutors in the Casey Anthony trial said Wednesday there could be perjury charges against Casey's mother, Cindy Anthony.

Cindy Anthony testified that she was responsible for Internet searches on the family's home computer for information about chloroform. But records indicated she was at work at the time.

Prosecutors had alleged that Casey Anthony, 25, killed her daughter, Caylee, in 2008 by rendering her unconscious with chloroform, putting duct tape over her nose and mouth so she would suffocate, or a combination of the two acts.

Asked by NBC's "Today Show" whether legal action will be taken against Cindy Anthony for allegedly perjuring herself on the witness stand, Jeff Ashton responded, "I think there could be. That will be a decision made by another branch of our office."

Ashton himself is leaving his post, proceeding with a retirement that he had delayed to take on the Casey Anthony case. The trial ended Tuesday with Casey Anthony acquitted of murder, manslaughter, and child abuse in the death of her daughter. She was convicted of lying to police, a misdemeanor that usually results in no jail time.

Asked by NBC whether he would pursue Cindy Anthony for perjury if he were staying, Ashton responded, "I honestly don't know. That would be a very, very difficult decision to make. As a prosecutor -- I've been a prosecutor for 30 years -- I hate to say this, but you're somewhat accustomed to family members trying to help their fellow family members. So you're kind of used to that.

"This, of course, was a rather important, you know, deception, if you will, that obviously was proven to be so by the other evidence. What they do with it is going to be a difficult decision that I'm glad I don't have to make."
Ashton will be on HLN's "Dr. Drew" Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. ET.

Holly Hughes, a criminal defense attorney analyzing the Casey Anthony trial for CNN, said she believes "they've got enough evidence to prove" perjury, but "from a personal, human standpoint, I don't think we're going to see it happen.

"Remember, no matter what we think of Cindy Anthony, she is a victim here. She is a grieving grandmother. ... So we know that she truly truly loved that little girl and misses her. And, at this point, all she was trying to do was save her daughter's life and it worked. So at this point I think any prosecution is going to look like sour grapes."

It always makes me crazy that it is propsed in these reports that the computer searches were needed for premeditation. Duct tape over the face to stop breathing is premeditation as well.

Yes, Cindy lied...but if the jury had any brains, they would remember that she said that she DID NOT type in "how to make chloroform" and THAT is what was typed into google. And then her time card was verified, so her testimony should have been irrelevant to the chloroform search by Casey!

Grrrrr....I wish I could tear myself away from all of this for one night! But, I do not see that happening!

Something is so not right w/ the jury and their short deliberation. As I said above WE all spent so many hrs/years debating this topic, pouring over evidence, taking notes...How can those 12 leave their notebooks behind. How did they know they wouldn't need them for reference, to change someone's mind, to spark a memory? They HAD to have talked amongst themselves. They knew. But, how did they know what the others were thinking? They never asked for evidence, to be taken to the crime scene...NOTHING! That to me is such a red flag.
