NG has a psych doctor on who examined Casey - says she is not mentally ill - no one clear disorder to identify as in her case but many factors exist in her however, in his mind as far as sociopathy he ruled it out but she was a liar and a thief. Her distance and affect was odd - casual affect,

Wrap...as far as Lee...I rem. LE making a statement that "he knows what he has done", and then his "CMA" thing at the Memorial service and JA stated that he was the most surprised w/ LA on the stand. His demeanor had changed he was evasive w/ the Pros. and he was very emotional. Emotions not seen in his depo. I really don't think they did Caylee justice. I want to believe GA did, but why am I having a nagging doubt about him now? The jury said they disliked him the most. He moved me so much on the stand...but now...part of me thinks it may have been a ploy. But, I know they all loved Caylee b4 they found out she died. Did KC ever love Caylee. Probably as much as she could till she no longer had use for her. Till she "got in the way". Man...that jury was "dumb".

I really feel sorry for Lee. I didn't until the trial. He is the oldest and was left out of the entire pregnancy, left out of Cindy sending dumb and dumber to the woods to look for Caylee. He was not in court unless he had to testify and was there for Mallory. I truly think of all the Ant's, he is the only one that has any scruples. I think he wanted to believe his sister and even admitted he couldn't bring himself to believe Caylee was dead even during the memorial.

I hope he makes a nice life for himself w/Mallory and doesn't allow Cindy to have one thing to do with their wedding or any children they may have.

And that jury? Evidently, they thought Casey was molested and accepted that she May have done something but chocked it up to her "just not being right." They are despicable and I hope they can't sleep or eat. They w/see down the road just what Casey is made of once she is out free as a vulture.

This is not the end of this story. We are now going into unchartered territory w/the release of that murderer. We are used to her being locked up. I cannot even imagine just what we will hear and see.

Tracey McClauglin said something tonight that makes sense. She said that the smell came into the car when Casey went to move the body into the wood - that it probably broke in the trunk around that time and that is when the smell started to get bad from that time on. Also at that time
she used some paper towels to dry the stain and left the garbage bag in the trunk to help cover up the smell. That would make sense as to why there was no smell in the trunk until later on.

Casey Anthony will have to wait a few more days to celebrate her release from the Orange County Jail where she has been incarcerated since October 2008. According to CNN, even though her release date was to be Wednesday, July 13, Florida Orange County Corrections officials, after going over the numbers and calculations, have found that they miscalculated by four days. She will now be released on Sunday, July 17.

In a statement from Orange County Corrections public information Allen Moore, "a detailed recalculation of the projected release date" had resulted in a new date, albeit one not in Anthony's favor. There was no explanation of how the recalculation was made, if it was a mistake in the original calculations, or if some factor was omitted or added that was not part of the initial calculation.

Regardless, Anthony's release date was moved back by four days.

On Tuesday that release date had been in jeopardy of being a death row sentence. However, the jury in the Casey Anthony trial, after deliberating 11 hours, delivered a "not guilty" verdict on the charge that she had murdered her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, shocking nearly everyone in attendance and the millions that had been following the developments and the trial via the media. She was found "not guilty" of manslaughter and aggravated child abuse as well. The jury did find her "guilty" of four misdemeanor counts of lying to police.

At sentencing on Thursday, after Judge Belvin Perry gave her the maximum sentence for the four charges and after hours of calculations that considered time already served in jail, Anthony was told that she would be released from jail on July 13. She was also fined $1,000 for each count.

But what can the now 25-year-old mother expect upon her release? Interviews? Book deals? Movie deals?

According to TMZ, Anthony has already received a movie deal from Vivid Entertainment, the adult entertainment company famous for releasing porn videos from Montana Fishburne and Kendra Wilkinson. That offer was quickly withdrawn after public backlash sent the company in retreat. Vivid founder Steve Hirsch noted that the offer was made because it was felt Casey Anthony would probably have a difficult time adjusting and Vivid could help her "transition into a new life." The amount being offered was not disclosed, but other high-profile personalities had made deals with Vivid totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars (with royalties and riders that netted millions). But the "overwhelmingly negative response" made it "obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movies," Hirsch told TMZ.

Many, like Fox News contributor and crisis management expert Gene Grabowski, said Anthony could look forward to a $1 million interview deal with a major network. He also said that he didn't recommend she take that path, however, because of her reputation as an "unsympathetic figure and a known liar."

Still, it is generally seen as a given that Anthony will attempt to capitalize off of her infamy, much like O. J. Simpson and Amy Fisher did, doing interviews and writing books -- if only to stave off court costs, lawyers fees, and civil suits. Anthony already faces a civil suit with regard to one of her lies to the police -- that of the story of the babysitter that abducted Caylee, where a Florida woman named Zenaida Gonzalez was arrested and underwent interrogation as the suspected "Zanny the Nanny." Texas Equifax, the equestrian search team that spent hours looking for Caylee, have contemplated seeking recompense for their efforts. Orange County and Florida officials have also pushed the idea of charging Anthony for services rendered during the wild goose chases inspired by her lies.

As to her personal life, that seems to be an unknown. It is seen as doubtful that she will return to her parents' home outside Orlando, especially considering the accusations that the defense team made in opening arguments that her actions were the result of emotional, psychological, and sexual abuse perpetrated against her by her father, George, since she was 8 years old.

Jean Caesarez of tru TV's "In Session" asked Cheney Mason, a member of the Anthony defense team, where the newly exonerated Anthony would go once freed from jail. "He told me it would not, with all seriousness, be back to her family home."

But an advance on a $1 million book deal or interview (or even some type of movie) would be enough for Casey Anthony to go just about anywhere she wants.

I bet she is sitting in her cell (if she is truly Still there) as cool as a cucumber..probably making lists of all the things she wants to do, places she wants to go, all the things she wants to buy..and a trip to NYC to hunt down Tony. Yes, I agree only KC knows what she did. And, she is the one and only one that did it. The others, IMO were in no way involved in Caylee's demise. It is just now seeing them on the Stand I am left to wonder about their role in trying to get her "off".
On another note, I cannot let myself view that video for Caylee, posted above. I am not sleeping well now. Not ready to view it. My heart actually gets that tugging feeling when I think of Caylee. I am just so happy that so many people do care.

Boy watching Tracey - Padilla's assistant - talk to Dr.Drew about the time she spent with Casey after she got out of jail was eerie. She said Casey was child like and only wanted the attention on her. Tracey was looking at a picture book of Caylee and Casey said "let's look at this" and placed her own pictures over Caylee's. WOW. This while her daughter was missing.

Tracey said Casey was very happy and acted silly, like a child. Dr. Drew asked if the parents encouraged this, infantalized her. She didn't see that but her observations seemed straight forward. She said Casey wanted her to wear a watch on her ankle to match Casey's ankle monitor.

One other observation was that at one point there were bones reportedly found in a pond and Casey had no reaction. However, when Caylee's remains were found in the area down the road from the home, that's when Casey started freaking out and hyperventillating. This is before her remains were identified. So, Casey KNEW they were Caylee's.

Why wasn't this woman called to the stand as a witness?

Allen Moore, the spokesman for the Orange County Corrections Department in Florida where Casey Anthony is incarcerated, has lashed out at Nancy Grace, Jane Velez Mitchell and RadarOnline.com.

RadarOnline.com contacted Allen Moore for comment regarding Casey Anthony's stay at the facility and our inquiry was met with a blistering attack.

Moore responded via e-mail: "There is no public record that would be responsive to your general request. Orange County Corrections will not answer any questions from RadarOnline.

"We will only accept your public records request and provide public records that may exist as required under Florida Statute 119."

When asked why, Mr. Moore responded: "This how we respond to clearly tabloid-style publications; i.e. Nancy Grace Show, Jane Valez Mitchell Show… Globe, and others."

Moore went on to state that he had an issue with RadarOnline.com's past reporting of Casey Anthony while behind bars.

Moore explained that his office was under no obligation to answer any of our questions, if he so chooses: "There is nothing in Florida law that requires our agency ever to answer questions of a reporter or media outlet unless we choose to do so. Our only legal duty is to accept requests for public records and honor them."

In a stunning verdict on Tuesday, a Florida jury acquitted Casey Anthony of first degree murder, manslaughter and aggravated child abuse. They did, however, find her guilty of four misdemeanor counts of lying to police.

Anthony will be released from jail on Sunday, July 17.

Oh one more thing from Tracey, Padilla's associate. She said that she and Casey were watching The Hills and on the show the people were at the bar and they started to discuss drinking. Tracey asked about different drinks and then about things slipped in drinks. Casey offered "Rufies" when Tracey stated the generic RX name. And then talking about those sleeping things in a drink, Casey said "Chloroform".

Who brings up Chloroform in that context??? Remember this was before Caylee was found. This proves she knew all about this drug.

Again, why wasn't Tracey on the stand as a witness? That tied it into the context of what happened to Caylee.

I think these jurors needed to hear it all. And of course CA's Myspace and the fight. JA said in a recent interview he didn't bring up the alleged fight b/c CA denied it and it would have been hear-say from the neighbor and LA.

He had Casey in his car and he testified that is when she said the Sawgrass story was not correct..that she actually had Caylee at J. Blanchard Park (thought she was working!) and ZG and her sister, "Samantha", held her down and took Caylee..gave her a "script" to read.

They played a huge part in Casey's demeanor and should have been on the stand.

Buzz Pushes 'Caylee's Law' Petition Towards 1 Million Signatures

Immediately after the verdict in the Casey Anthony case was read, an internet campaign to create a law to keep something like this from happening again went viral. The proposed "Caylee's Law" would make it a felony for parents or caregivers to not report the death of a child to authorities within one hour.

But the petition goes further. The proposal calls for a felony charge if a child's guardian does not notify law enforcement of the disappearance of a child within 24 hours. Casey refused a visit in jail from her mother just days after she was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.

Visitation records for the Orange County jail show that Casey was notified Friday morning of a video visit request from her mother, Cindy Anthony. Casey declined the visit, according to the visitation log.

Records also show that Casey did accept a visit Thursday night from a member of her defense team and one Friday from lead defense attorney Jose Baez.

On a day when many thought Casey would be freed from jail, Judge Belvin Perry on Thursday gave her the maximum sentence of four years for four convictions of lying to authorities in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. Perry denied a defense request to combine the misdemeanor counts, which could have made her eligible for immediate release.

"As a result of those four specific, distinct lies, law enforcement expended great time and resources looking for Caylee Marie Anthony," the judge said.

Orange County corrections officials said late Thursday they had recalculated Casey's release date. With time served and credit for good behavior, she is now due out on July 17, her 1,007th day in jail.

"It's no big secret that some people disagree with their verdict, and some people would like to take something out on them," Perry said.

Thursday's actions mean Casey will go free nearly two weeks after she was acquitted of first-degree murder and other charges in Caylee's death.

When she is released, Casey must decide whether to return to a community in which many onlookers long ago concluded that she's a killer, or to a home strained by her defense attorneys' accusations of sexual abuse.

"Ideally with her I would get her probably to the executive airport on a private plane and get her to another location even if I didn't do that, I would get her into a secure location under heavy security," said WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer.

Casey's release will come nearly three years after Caylee was reported missing. After the report was made on July 15, 2008, Casey was interviewed by police and made the statements that led to her conviction for lying.

She lied about working at the Universal Studios theme park, about leaving her daughter with a non-existent nanny named Zanny, about telling two friends Caylee had been kidnapped and about receiving a phone call from her.

The defense claimed Caylee actually drowned a month earlier in a pool at the home of Casey's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, with whom the child and her single mother lived.

The defense said Casey acted without remorse in the weeks after her daughter's death because she was a victim of sexual abuse by her father, resulting in emotional problems, though her attorneys produced no witnesses bolstering the claim. The defense also claimed George Anthony, a former police officer, helped cover up the death by making it look like a homicide and dumping the body near their home, where it was found by a meter reader six months later.

George Anthony has vehemently denied any involvement in Caylee's death, the disposal of her body or molesting his daughter, Casey.

Prosecutors claimed Casey suffocated her daughter with duct tape because motherhood interfered with her desire for a carefree life of partying with friends and spending time with her boyfriend.

Attorney John Morgan plans to question Casey in his firm's lawsuit representing Zenaida Gonzalez, a woman with the same name as Casey’s imaginary babysitter, "Zanny," who she claimed kidnapped Caylee.

"We're hoping we get to take her deposition on the 19,” said Morgan.

Gonzalez said when Casey made the allegations, her life suffered.

"It was horrible, we couldn't even go out around the corner without being scared,” she said.

Even with her criminal trial finished, Casey may have to answer questions about Caylee's death under oath.

Gonzalez sued Casey, hoping to clear her name, but now her case will be the first time Casey will face direct questioning about the death of her daughter.

"We're going to ask questions about the death, what she knew, when she knew it,” said Morgan.

Morgan not only sees this case as a chance to find out why his client's name was brought into this, but also as the best chance to get some answers from Casey under oath and on video about what really happened.

"Whatever happens there's a God up there...and she still has to respond to him,” said Gonzalez.

Anthony defense attorney Cheney Mason was definite about one aspect of Casey Anthony’s future. “She won’t be going home to her family, that is a guarantee,” Mason told WOFL-Channel 35’s Holly Bristow. Mason said Anthony hasn’t wanted to talk to her family for a long time. “She hasn’t wanted to talk to her father since he testified against her in the grand jury,” Mason said. “Can’t blame her.”

Mark Lippman, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, told WOFL that they don’t have ”the 9-to-5 job option anymore” and “for three years, their lives have been put on hold.”

Mason told “In Session” that Casey Anthony is “as tough as they come and she’s very smart and she’s very alert — quick — and you get to like her.”

Mason told WOFL that Anthony made her own decisions based on lawyers’ advice. “If she had said she wanted to testify, we obviously would have put her on the stand, against my better judgment and advice,” Mason told Bristow. “But if that’s what she wanted, she would have gotten it.”

Jurors who acquitted Casey Anthony of murdering her 2-year-old daughter are likely to be confronted with their unpopular decision by their families, co-workers and neighbors for years, according to a juror on the O.J. Simpson trial.

"For the first year I had to hear O.J.'s name every single day, from the general public, people I worked with, my family members," says Yolanda Crawford, who served as juror number 1492 in the 1995 trial of the former football great accused of slashing to death his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her acquaintance Ronald Goldman.
People would ask "What were you thinking, what's wrong with you, why did you do it? I had to constantly explain myself," Crawford says.
Judge Belvin Perry, who presided over the 42-day Anthony trial, expressed concern for the safety of jurors Thursday and postponed a decision on whether to release their names, saying he wanted to allow for a "cooling-off period" of at least a couple of days.

Outside the courthouse , protesters chanted "Justice for Caylee" as they waved signs that said "Arrest the Jury!!" and "Jurors 1-12 Guilty of Murder."
A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll conducted after the verdict found that 64% of Americans believe Anthony definitely or probably murdered her daughter Caylee. About half of Americans followed the trial closely. Anthony was sentenced to four years in prison for lying to police, and is scheduled to be released July 17.
Insults against the Anthony jurors are already flying through the media and over the Internet — a Fox News headline online called them "a bunch of idiots" Wednesday. Crawford predicts that will continue in public and in person as well.

Crawford felt like her life was put on hold for a year — she and other jurors were sequestered for 265 days during the Simpson trial — but the ordeal lasted much longer. She regrets that she declined psychological counseling offered at the time by the Los Angeles court.

Her advice for the jurors: "Try to stay grounded and keep your cool."
Simpson, who is black, was found not guilty of murder in the death of his wife and her friend, both white. A civil jury later found him liable in the battery of Brown and the wrongful death of Goldman under "a preponderance of the evidence" test applied in civil cases.
The acquittal in the criminal case led to a racially charged public reaction. A white neighbor, whom Crawford had known and spoken to almost daily for more than 20 years, stopped talking to her.
"A lot of people looked at it as a racially motivated verdict," says Crawford, who insists that was not the case despite the mostly black jury. There were two whites and an Hispanic on the Simpson panel, she points out.
Crawford could not go home after she was released from the trial. Her neighbors rented their driveway to television crews who wanted better a camera angle on her bedroom, she says.
"I couldn't get any peace. And after you go through something like that's all you want is peace," she says.
She stayed with family and friends until the furor died down. But then she received racially motivated hate mail from people "hoping that I died," and phone calls in the middle of the night from callers who would say nothing and hang up. Even after moving three times since the trial, she still gets letters questioning her decision.
"You can't put people in jail when there's a doubt," Crawford says. "We had reasonable doubt and our verdict was unpopular."

Crawford says she too was surprised by the Anthony verdict.
"I thought she was guilty but I won't condemn that jury because I wasn't there," she says. "I don't agree with the verdict but I understand it and I accept it for what it is."

Representatives for Jerry Springer denied a report on Friday that the syndicated talker offered Anthony, her parents George and Cindy Anthony, and her brother Lee Anthony, $1 million for a joint interview.
Adult film purveyor Vivid Entertainment rescinded an offer to Casey Anthony to star in one of its films following a public outcry from porn fans.

Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, said in a statement: “It’s clear to me now… that there has been an overwhelmingly negative response to our offer and so we’ve decided to withdraw it. It has become obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movie. We want to make movies that people want to watch and we now believe that we underestimated the emotional response that people are having to the verdict. A movie starring Casey Anthony is not what people want to see.”
On Thursday, Hollywood agency Paradigm, backpedaled on representing Anthony’s defense attorney Jose Baez hours after the company announced internally that it would rep Baez in TV, film and book rights.
Nevertheless, as Anthony is due to be released from jail on July 17, bookers for the broadcast and cable networks are camped in Florida working contacts in hopes of landing interviews with Anthony and her family. But the stench of checkbook journalism and the prospect that Anthony could profit from the death of her daughter is giving news executives back in New York pause.

One executive characterized any Casey Anthony interview as “hugely complicated.”
And a booker echoed that sentiment: “It’s complicated any time you’re paying somebody who everybody thinks is a killer.”
“It’s going to be one of the biggest gets,” said another booker. “But is it worth the bad press? Sometimes it’s not.”
News organizations are already feeling the heat for the widespread practice of licensing photos and videos from interview subjects. ABC News was revealed to have paid the Anthony family $200,000 in 2008 for what a network spokesperson has described as an “extensive library of photos and home video for use by our broadcasts, platforms, affiliates and international partners.” ABC News also paid meter reader Roy Kronk, who discovered Caylee Anthony’s remains, a $15,000 photo licensing fee. But it was not for a picture of the remains, rather it was for a photo of a snake. Kronk appeared on Good Morning America. He testified that the snake distracted him when he found Caylee’s skeleton. (ABC News did not pay Baez or juror Jennifer Ford.)
Now news organizations routinely disclose on-air if they’ve paid a licensing fee. And the practice has become so derided, that they take pains to disclose when they haven’t paid. Today host Ann Curry noted as much during her interview with Octomom Nadya Suleman on Friday.
News organizations dealings with Anthony, say industry observers, must be squeaky clean if they hope to preserve some semblance of journalistic integrity and also land what is sure to be a ratings bonanza. But Anthony, who is clearly estranged from her family and has no resources to speak of, has little incentive to grant a free interview.
“She’s got no interest in granting a regular news interview,” says television news analyst Andrew Tyndall. “She’s only got interest in granting a promotional interview, which is remunerative. Of course, news organizations should sit her down and say, ‘What’s your theory of what happened to your daughter?’ But that’s a news interview. There’s no prospect of an actual journalistic interview being done here, where real journalistic questions are asked and answered and we actually gain some insight into the circumstances of this case.
“Journalists, for their own self-preservation,” adds Tyndall, “should go a million miles away from this because there’s no information, just sensation.”

Profiling Topic of the Day: Duct Tape Damning Evidence for Casey Anthony?

Sometimes you just have to wonder whether in one hundred years, people will look back and think that we have one ignorant court system in 2009. Today there is possible "damning evidence" in the missing Caylee Anthony case. A small skeleton was found near the Anthony house and there was duct taped supposedly associated with finding of the remains.

But, say the attorneys, this doesn't mean that Casey Anthony, that poor excuse of a mother that Caylee got sicced with in the fickle finger of birth parent fate dice roll, still won't have a defense. It is pointed out there still may still not be enough evidence to prove Casey killed her daughter. It may not be clear if it was homicide or an accident. Even if it is proven Casey was involved in the death of her daughter, the defense may be able to "prove" that Casey was not in her right mind when she did it.

Is this another OJ Simpson case in the making? Another dog-and-pony show that will end up with a not-guilty verdict? Will our idiotic crap shoot of a jury system fail again to provide justice to the victims of murder and put a killer back on the streets? Will some well-meaning, but untrained jury going to be suckered by yet another bunch of lying, justice obstructing, snake oil salesmen attorneys? Why is it if we are seeking justice in our court system do we allow attorneys to "defend" their clients by lying for them and about them?

Why is it that a woman who "loses her child" for a month, parties hardy without a concern about that innocent little girl, lies about leaving Caylee with a babysitter, and abandons the family car with a corpse-like smell in the trunk given the luxury of an entire overpaid staff of lawyers to bail her out of her crimes?

Why is it that when this women commits obstruction of justice over and over, she is still handled with kid gloves and not charged with those crimes as well?

Why when all Casey's actions add up to homicide can't we just put this evil woman away with a short, sweet, and logical professional jury system that knows what they are doing?

I am disgusted when I see how much money goes to garbage like this, how much money is wasted on a simple case, how much money and time is spent on what should be an open-and-shut case. There are hundreds of open cases, missing and murdered children and adults who deserve their share of the attention and funding.

Our criminal justice system is corrupt and worthless and it is about time we admit it is nothing but a moneymaking scheme for attorneys and court experts.

I say make everything above board, require video cameras during all discussions between attorneys and their "innocent" clients, and send defense lawyers to jail for obstructing justice if they gain information from their client that proves them guilty. Let them defend innocent people and miscarriages of justice, not violent criminals they know are guilty.

Don Drane of Allegheny Township was surprised by the verdict in the Casey Anthony case but proud of the lead prosecutor in the Florida case.

That would be his daughter, Linda Drane Burdick, the assistant state attorney, who argued the case against the 25-year-old Anthony, accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee, 2.

Anthony was acquitted of murder charges by the jury Tuesday but convicted of lying to the police.

"I think most of America is surprised," Drane said.

But Drane was not surprised that his daughter, a 1982 graduate of Burrell High School, was chosen to lead the prosecution.

"I wasn't the least bit surprised," he said. "She's got 20 years of experience in child abuse and child sex cases and worked in homicide cases."

"She's tried numerous high profile cases over the years, Drane said. "This isn't her first rodeo."

Cindy Drane, an Oakmont resident, exchanged e-mails with her older sister a short time after the verdict was rendered.

"She said she's OK and she'll call me later," Cindy Drane said. "She said she thought she did the best she could. She just wanted to do her job. You just can't predict what a jury is going to do."

Drane said her sister is a passionate advocate for victims of often-nightmarish crimes.

"We always worry about her," Cindy Drane said. "We wonder how she can handle all that, but she just focuses on her job."

The two sisters have come a long way from their days at Burrell High. Cindy, who graduated a year after her sister, works as a finance director for the H.J. Heinz Co. in Pittsburgh.

She said their lives growing up were "just normal Lower Burrell stuff" --- playing softball in high school, swimming at Melwood Pool in the summer and watching the Steelers in the fall.

"You know how sisters are, growing up close in age," Cindy said. "She was always telling on me when I would do something wrong."

While at Burrell, Linda Drane stayed busy. In addition to being captain of the softball team, she was a member of the gymnastics and French clubs, was an announcer, a member of the Explorers, Junior Achievement and the newspaper staff.

The sisters' paths diverged after high school with Linda going to the University of Pittsburgh where she got her undergraduate degree in 1986 and graduated from law school in 1989. Cindy went in the other direction, attending Penn State University, where she earned her degree.

There also are other family members still living in the area. Her mother, Marilyn Jacobs, still lives in Lower Burrell.

Her uncle, Ray Drane and his son, Jeff, both of Harrison followed the trial on TV. They said they have not seen Linda for more than 10 years and were proud of how she handled herself but disappointed in the verdict.

"I was kind of excited in the beginning," Jeff Drane said. "I was amazed that she was in the trial of the century there."

He said that his cousin was always "very smart and very attentive" as a student.

"I think she did a great job," he said."I think it's a disgrace, the outcome of this. I think it is a shame. They just let a murderer walk free."

Cindy Drane also followed the trial and said she was "sick" about the outcome.

"I taped it every day and then watched it when I got home from work, fast-forwarding through the defense," she said.

Aside from the verdict, the only thing that surprised Cindy Drane was the national exposure her sister received.

"I wouldn't expect her to be on TV every day," she said. " It's kind of strange. I get to come home and watch my sister on TV."

She said her sister does not fall prey to the high-profile hype, describing her as "steady."

But the attention was starting to be a distraction as the trial wound down, with people at the supermarket starting to recognize her from TV and publications.

"I told her to put her hair in a pony tail , wear a hat and put on dark glasses," Cindy Drane said.

She said Linda told her that the Florida State Attorney General's office has not permitted her to talk to the media, even after the verdict.

"Geraldo Rivera came up to her and introduced himself, but she told him she couldn't talk to him," Cindy Drane said.

"You'll find one thing out about Linda -- she plays by the rules, her ethics are high," said Don Drane, adding that while they spoke about once a week during the trial, the case was never discussed.

As for the future, Cindy Drane thinks her sister would like to be a judge but is not a political person and does not have the political connections that would likely require.

She thinks her sister will continue to be a prosecutor. She said when Linda was in college she first majored in political science and that piqued her interest in government work.

"I knew it would be something with government," Cindy Drane said. "I think she even had an interview with the CIA or FBI coming out of college."

Don Drane said there was no hesitation in what Linda wanted to do once she graduated from law school. He said she never went into private practice but instead took a job with the Florida state attorney general's office.

"She just believes in the justice system and she believes that is where she can make her contributions," he said.

Drane is proud of how that decision has played out for his oldest daughter.

"Her reputation is well known; she is highly respected," Drane said. "If you followed the case on television at all and saw how she handled herself, she only added to her reputation."

Perjurer Cindy Anthony Writing Book Supporting Defense Claims About George

According to a cousin, Casey Anthony’s mother, Cindy, is writing a book in which she will explain how the defense claims about George in the opening statement are true.

A 2nd Cousin to Cindy called into a Houston, TX radio show (link below) stating how Cindy had a ”conference” call with only her side of the family giving details confirming to them George’s participation as the Defense claimed in their opening statement at the murder trial.

Cindy will release these new details in a book already in the works …. Cindy lied on the witness stand, can we believe her now ??? Is this another ploy of Cindy’s to save her daughter from the world’s hatred?

Jose Baez has ignored court orders numerous times during the Casey Anthony trial . Judge Perry stated that he would deal with the contempt when the trial is over. We want to see Judge Perry stand by his word. We saw Judge Perry sentence citizens to jail and impose fines for their actions during this trial. He needs to do the same to Jose Baez. The Florida BAR needs to investigate all grievances against Jose Baez, including possibly reopening grievances filed by Judge Stan Strickland. Jose Baez also needs to account for how he used the $200,000.00 + that was received by him on behalf of his client from ABC networks and other sources, especially since his client was declared indigent and the Florida taxpayers footed the bill. Jose Baez has at least one of his houses up for foreclosure which should not meet the standards of the Florida BAR. Jose Baez needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Tearful Anthony jurors ask prosecutors, where was the evidence?

Prosecutors did not offer enough evidence to convict Casey Anthony, two jurors have said in media reports.

Two jurors in the Casey Anthony trial say they wish the outcome had been different but prosecutors did not present enough evidence to convict Anthony of killing her daughter, Caylee, according to news reports Thursday.

"It doesn't feel good. It was a horrible decision to have to make" to find Anthony not guilty, said Jennifer Ford, who identified herself as Juror No. 3, in an interview with ABC News.

"We were sick to our stomach to get that verdict. We were crying, and not just the women," Ford said of the 12 jurors in the ABC interview.

The tears were still flowing Wednesday as Juror No. 2 (he did not want to be identified by name) spoke to Florida's St. Petersburg Times.

"I just swear to God … I wish we had more evidence to put her away. I truly do … But it wasn't there," he said in an emotional interview with the Times.

Juror No.2, who the Times reported is a black male, married and a father of two young children, said he was the last holdout on the jury who wanted to convict Anthony on a lesser charge of aggravated manslaughter, which would have carried a prison term of up to 15 years, according to the newspaper.

The prosecution's inability to prove who was Caylee's caretaker at the time of her death, Casey Anthony or the girl's grandparents, doomed the manslaughter charge, Juror No. 2 said.

"We truly don't know what happened. Somebody knows, but we don't know," he said in the Times interview.

Ford told ABC that prosecutors left key questions unanswered.

"If you're going to charge someone with murder, don't you have to know how they killed someone or why they might have killed someone, or have something where, when, why, how? Those are important questions. They were not answered," she said in the ABC interview.

An alternate juror, who was present for the trial and sequestered along with the serving jurors, said he would have voted for acquittal, too.

"They didn't show us how Caylee died. They didn't show us a motive. I'm sorry people feel that way. ... These were 17 total jurors. They really listened to this case and kept an open mind," ABC News quotes Russell Huekler as saying.

While those three people have spoken about the case, at least one of the sitting jurors wants money for the behind-the-scenes story.

The man, identified as Juror No. 6, wants $50,000 for his story and has hired a publicist, CNN contributor Howard Kurtz reports for The Daily Beast.
