One other thing. Billie and Shawn have turned this case into a sideshow. They have made it all about them. In the meantime, Hailey is still not found. And when that reality hits, I have so many emotions at the same time.
This is going to make quite a book and/or movie. But with that comes the realization that a beautiful little girl is no longer here.
It's tragic.

OK...maybe I missed something here..did not hear the show...but who in the Hay is Bea??????? OK, never mind...I am listening to BTR. Bea is the one on Bring Them Home that drives me up the wall.

OMG, this Bring Them Home show tonight was something out of "As The Stomach Turns".
First, I cannot STAND Peter Hyatt. He thinks he is right about everything. And, he Never stops talking!!!
Second, I have no clue WHY Billie was on the show. Why would she dial in? Why hasn't she lawyered up?
Third, that Bea chick got extremely emotional saying she heard something.
And then, Peter starts rambling again...saying the same thing.
The ONLY part that I liked was discussing David Dunn. That poor kid!!

So true! Tonight's show felt like a cross between the old soap operas and a really bad reality show. Billie turned her daughter's tragedy into her own personal (and fake) saga of public persecution and forbidden love for almost 2.5 months. Unforgivable.

I believe Peter Hyatt did a great job last night. Billie needed someone to ask the hard questions instead of holding her hand for once. And look what happened.
I am convinced the interview was arranged by LE.
The hosts claimed LE talked to them before the show and said NOT to have Shawn or Billie do the interview.
However, Billie said (could be a lie) that she was contacted by one of the hosts to do the show.
This was LE's way of making a statement without making a public statement.
I would love to hear Peter asking Shawn questions.

What the heck happened last night. LE asks Bring Them Home not to allow SA and BD on the show.
They let BD on the show...then Bea is crying that she is deceived by Billie. Well c'mon Bea we were all deceived by Billie and Shawn and the whole gang.
Peter starts asking Billie the hard questions and won't let her wiggle out like she usually does.
Then after Billie calls PH a Stupid A.. she hangs up.
Then Peter tells all about how DD should have acted with his sister missing. I thought kids were off limits.
That show was a circus. I am not sure who the ring master was?

IMO Peter was repeating what Clint had said about DD. He sat around playing video games, not the reaction most would have had if their sister was missing.
He knows something and knew there was no reason to search.

BJ, I think you are right about the Breast Implants.
But, my first thoughts were that Clint had on a Help Find Hailey Tee Shirt and Billy, her mother did not.

I believe LE is going to be releasing details soon. I don't mean City Manager Pete Kampfer. In my opinion, Pete was used to pacify the reporters.
We may hear of evidence found at one or more of the landfills and other evidence.
I spoke to a local reporter and she stated she attempted to verify the POI claim last night and was told they could not confirm or deny it.

I believe Billie is the one that did something to Hailey, and SA cleaned up her mess. What a patsy! I agree with her now, that people just want to blame SA , which I think is because of his image. His image makes him the obvious choice. I told Wrap weeks ago that I thought BD was responsible, and I really believe it now more than ever. That's how she can "stand behind" SA. She's known all along he didn't do anything, until after the fact, that is. I would get a lawyer , too, if I were him. He's still involved, but I honestly don't believe he "did it", and I also believe that's why CD even said he thought SA was "innocent". Maybe he figured it out, too, but yet won't allow himself to conceive of BD being responsible. I believe BD caused Hailey's death, whether accidental or intentional. That's my final answer and JMO MOO MOO

I do not believe any LE agency would use that radio show and especially Peter Hyatt to 'ask the hard questions'. IMOO Peter Hyatt is a pompous *** and a big bully and he just got lucky that Billie was dumb enough to call into that show. Please do not misunderstand me when I say this, but I thought her calling PH a stupid a** was funny (& in no way do I find this case funny). LE enlisting the help of PH would make them look less than pathetic, again JMOO.

And in a shocking update, they say that Dunn and Adkins are now the only two suspects in Hailey’s case. Attempts to independently confirm this have failed. When invreporter asked Colorado City police about it today, they said the can “neither confirm nor deny anything”

I thought the radio show was interesting and I liked how Peter held Billie Dunn to what she said and provided follow up questions. No other reporter has really done that and Billie was angry. She reminded me of a cornered animal, striking out.. hissing.
Peter has been honest about not wanting to say anything that would interfere with LE's case. He has indicated that he's called the DA and LE on a few occasions based on what was revealed. I think his statement analysis has been on the mark and Billie & Shawn.
I'm new to the investigative piece but it is amazing how it has been true.
And of course, I'm enjoying meeting all of you.

BD and SA have refused to cooperate with LE at times and have given false info when they did talk. I do not doubt for a minute LE would use the radio show to help them.
BD loves talking to the media and this is one way LE can get info.

I think Billie is primarily responsible too. Either she and Shawn harmed Hailey together (whether intentionally, or because she did not recover from something they pushed upon her), Billie harmed Hailey and Shawn was the after-the-fact man, or Billie no longer wanted to be challenged by Hailey so she gave her to Shawn to get rid of her as he pleased. In any case, Billie was the driver and Shawn the willing passenger, imo. I'm less certain about who's responsible for the child porn, but I'm really thinking Billie as the driver of the porn bus too. She is selfish, greedy, conniving, and callous, imo. I can easily see trading/distribution (maybe even production) of deviant pornography being another income-generating scheme of Billie's, with Shawn and other(s) as her partners in crime.
Anxiously awaiting an LE update...

I really think they have some "splaining" to do.
First they have said LE told them SA and BD were persons of interest. LE has said neither confirm or deny.
Now the above statement about Billie being on the show after LE told them "no BD or SA".

Peter Hyatt explained it on the radio show last night. It sounds like he had the okay from LE and the DA to go ahead and ask Billie questions, if she called in. They didn't want Bea & Rachel doing the interview. Whatever the LE revealed to Bea earlier in the day was very upsetting to her. She couldn't tell us but, as you see above, it will be revealed. Bea asked Billie Jean to do the right thing.
I am anxious to hear what LE revealed to BTHN ladies, Bea & Rachel.

I posted on Peter's blog today about the same thing, LE not confirming nor denying the POI's revealed on the show last night. He said "strategy". Plus, Peter, Bea and Rachel are talking to LE directly and not Peter Kampfer. Peter Kampfer said at one point that he doesn't know much about the case and it is on purpose so that he doesn't reveal anything.
From everything I've read about this case, it makes me think that things are picking up speed and will happen soon. Of course, for me, it isn't happening soon enough!

I wouldn't hate on the hosts and PH from BTHN at this point. They may play a huge role in when things are released.
Everything SA and BD have said on the show could be used in court. There were numerous questions from the hosts on the previous show with BD that makes me believe LE told them to ask. Such as "Hailey's breathing problems." There IS a reason this question was asked twice.

I don't know anything about the Uncle of DD. He lives in Snyder and I seldom visit that city.

I have trouble believing that LE took either female into their confidence but IF LE told them that both SA & BD were POI (or suspects, I forget) that quite possibly could have upset Bea like she was. I can see asking Billie to do the right thing because of how hard she (Bea) took it. My guess would be she wants Billie to quit protecting Shawn and tell LE all she knows. I'm standing by what I've thought from the beginning. I do not think Billie was responsible for whatever happened that caused Hailey to "disappear". I think Shawn did something to Hailey and Billie was dragged in after the fact. I bet she's knows the truth and she's covering for Shawn. He might have even convinced Billie that whatever happened wasn't his fault.....that it was Hailey's fault. I said before that when Shawn moved in there Hailey was just a little 10 year old girl and then she turned into a young lady. No one can tell me that he didn't notice. If Peter Hyatt was correct in his theory about what happened to Hailey, Shawn might have convinced Billie that Hailey was to blame.....that she was coming onto him. Billie's acting like a lovestruck teen and she wants Shawn in her life......at any cost. She forgave Shawn for cheating on her.....she can forgive him for what he did to Hailey, too and then her life will be "good" again.

There are numerous ponds, stock tanks and lakes in Scurry County. A member of Hailey's Angels told me they received numerous tips regarding some of the ponds in Scurry County and they searched several of them. As for as a settling pond, I am not sure.
I am hoping the land owners keep searching their land as the elements can rearrange things over time.
I have also heard about a tip regarding Moss Creek Lake just south of Big Springs.

I asked the above question as I was watching a series that discussed the Sandra Cantu case. Divers would not be able to search in manure settling basins from dairies and ranches.

Actually we know very little about Shawns family. What do we know?
We know grandma goes somewhere before 6 am in the morning because Shawn says she wasn't home when he went a knocking.
I read his mother works at the local post office.
I understand he has a young brother living somewhere.
Shawn has a cousin as wacky as him with a really bad doo.

I asked Freda with Hailey's Angels several weeks ago and she said the area around Shawn's grandmother's house was searched. She didn't indicate the area immediately around the house such as the cellar.
I do recall hearing about the three people (two males, one female) in the backyard. The female was wearing gloves and carrying a container. I never heard if it was LE or someone else. The media didn't seem to ask questions about it. Abilene Reporter News reported it.

I don't see Billie as covering up for something she didn't participate in or condone. She's no love struck teenager-type, imo.
Imo, Billie is in charge all the way. Based upon all of her interviews, lies, deflections and inconsistencies, I cannot see Billie being so blinded by love that she is trying to keep her man. But, even if that were the case, she should go to jail for a very long time for child endangerment, obstruction of justice, filing a false police report, fraud (accepting donations under false pretenses), and probably drug and child pornography related charges.
But, imo, it's much worse than that. Billie started lying to LE straight off. She is overly confident, not insecure. She knew what happened to Hailey. She failed her first poly and made sure to publicly release that information herself, along with a lame excuse as to why. An excuse that might give some people doubt, but can only happen once. She can only be told once that Shawn didn't pass his poly just before taking her first poly. I don't believe it happened that way, but even if it did, it's a one time deal. Despite saying she would take another poly after "thinking long and hard about it"; despite admitting that she's "spoken to many, many polygraphers"; despite admitting she now has a little bit of doubt about Shawn and still claiming she was in no way involved, Billie won't take another test. She has learned that anti-anxiety meds won't dull emotions enough to render the results inconclusive or allow her to lie and pass; she said as much when she called into BTHN on 3/10. She won't make the mistake of taking another one because she can't lie about knowing what happened to Hailey and fool the test. Self preservation that has nothing to do with Shawn, imo.
Shawn and Billie admit to cheating on each other during their "rocky relationship" before it got "awesome". They called 911 on each other; equally flaming the drama. They got back together and continued their "hobbies" as a couple. Billie has brothers and her mother in the general area. But, where did she turn when she and Shawn were having their fights? Clint's mom. Where did Clint and Shawn fight? Clint's mom's front yard. Billie-orchestrated drama, imo. Billie put herself first always and needs to be the center of attention. I don't believe she would put herself second to Shawn or anyone else. I believe she'd put Hailey and David after Shawn, but Billie is first and foremost. She's not going down with the ship, she's at the helm, imo.
When Billie told us all that Shawn had cheated on her and she saw evidence of it on the memory stick, Shawn was on the line with the same radio show the very next day to tell everyone that "he only loves one woman, and that's Billie Dunn" (3/4 BTHN). Billie doesn't like to look the fool, I think Shawn was instructed to declare his love for Billie alone, by Billie herself. Control and image, imo.
Shawn has never said anything negative about Hailey in his public interviews (the "promiscuous" comment was privately to LE). If anything, he is creepily affectionate about Hailey. Billie called Hailey hormonal, nosy, said twice that Hailey had "an attitude", inferred that Hailey disobeyed her when she was told not to leave the house on the day she officially went missing (then changed to Hailey knew not to leave the house)...Billie says that her life was almost perfect until "Hailey went and disappeared" (3/3 BTHN interview). Hailey was interfering with Billie's awesomeness and challenging her control: Billie set events in motion to remove the problem, imo.
Billie withdrew $140 from her bank account to purchase narcotics (1/6 affidavit) on the 27th, even though she said she was broke. Billie is still talking to Shawn about evidence that points to both of them; he admitted to being at her house the day after her 3/3 BTHN interview to get some things (what?, he wasn't living there - what could be so important?), and that Billie told him there was no child pornography on the memory stick that same afternoon. Why is she revealing to Shawn what LE allegedly told her when only hours before she'd said that Shawn had an hour and a half alone with Hailey on the day she officially disappeared, and that Shawn told his mom Hailey was missing before Billie informed him that Hailey was missing? Imo, she made those very incriminating allegations on the air because she was punishing Shawn (control) for the cheating and maybe something else; she was very publicly reminding him who is in charge. Once she had the upper hand again in her mind, she was ready to let him make it up to your highness. Her love wasn't betrayed, her massive ego and need for control were momentarily punctured until she cracked the whip, imo...
Billie has not once mentioned concern for her son since he was removed from her custody. I don't think it's because she's so blinded by love for Shawn that she can't think of anything else. I think it's because she's so consumed with self-preservation and concealing her involvement that keeping Shawn in tow (and simultaneously appearing to be doubtful of him whenever evidence that points to both of them is released) is tricky business and demands her full attention. Her balancing act is getting harder and harder. I think once Shawn is out from under Billie's influence, he will tell all and it will be proven that Billie is as at least equally involved with Hailey's disappearance. They are equally disturbed and deserve each other; Hailey deserved much much much better...

Imo, Billie is in charge all the way. Based upon all of her interviews, lies, deflections and inconsistencies, I cannot see Billie being so blinded by love that she is trying to keep her man. But, even if that were the case, she should go to jail for a very long time for child endangerment, obstruction of justice, filing a false police report, fraud (accepting donations under false pretenses), and probably drug and child pornography related charges.
But, imo, it's much worse than that. Billie started lying to LE straight off. She is overly confident, not insecure. She knew what happened to Hailey. She failed her first poly and made sure to publicly release that information herself, along with a lame excuse as to why. An excuse that might give some people doubt, but can only happen once. She can only be told once that Shawn didn't pass his poly just before taking her first poly. I don't believe it happened that way, but even if it did, it's a one time deal. Despite saying she would take another poly after "thinking long and hard about it"; despite admitting that she's "spoken to many, many polygraphers"; despite admitting she now has a little bit of doubt about Shawn and still claiming she was in no way involved, Billie won't take another test. She has learned that anti-anxiety meds won't dull emotions enough to render the results inconclusive or allow her to lie and pass; she said as much when she called into BTHN on 3/10. She won't make the mistake of taking another one because she can't lie about knowing what happened to Hailey and fool the test. Self preservation that has nothing to do with Shawn, imo.
Shawn and Billie admit to cheating on each other during their "rocky relationship" before it got "awesome". They called 911 on each other; equally flaming the drama. They got back together and continued their "hobbies" as a couple. Billie has brothers and her mother in the general area. But, where did she turn when she and Shawn were having their fights? Clint's mom. Where did Clint and Shawn fight? Clint's mom's front yard. Billie-orchestrated drama, imo. Billie put herself first always and needs to be the center of attention. I don't believe she would put herself second to Shawn or anyone else. I believe she'd put Hailey and David after Shawn, but Billie is first and foremost. She's not going down with the ship, she's at the helm, imo.
When Billie told us all that Shawn had cheated on her and she saw evidence of it on the memory stick, Shawn was on the line with the same radio show the very next day to tell everyone that "he only loves one woman, and that's Billie Dunn" (3/4 BTHN). Billie doesn't like to look the fool, I think Shawn was instructed to declare his love for Billie alone, by Billie herself. Control and image, imo.
Shawn has never said anything negative about Hailey in his public interviews (the "promiscuous" comment was privately to LE). If anything, he is creepily affectionate about Hailey. Billie called Hailey hormonal, nosy, said twice that Hailey had "an attitude", inferred that Hailey disobeyed her when she was told not to leave the house on the day she officially went missing (then changed to Hailey knew not to leave the house)...Billie says that her life was almost perfect until "Hailey went and disappeared" (3/3 BTHN interview). Hailey was interfering with Billie's awesomeness and challenging her control: Billie set events in motion to remove the problem, imo.
Billie withdrew $140 from her bank account to purchase narcotics (1/6 affidavit) on the 27th, even though she said she was broke. Billie is still talking to Shawn about evidence that points to both of them; he admitted to being at her house the day after her 3/3 BTHN interview to get some things (what?, he wasn't living there - what could be so important?), and that Billie told him there was no child pornography on the memory stick that same afternoon. Why is she revealing to Shawn what LE allegedly told her when only hours before she'd said that Shawn had an hour and a half alone with Hailey on the day she officially disappeared, and that Shawn told his mom Hailey was missing before Billie informed him that Hailey was missing? Imo, she made those very incriminating allegations on the air because she was punishing Shawn (control) for the cheating and maybe something else; she was very publicly reminding him who is in charge. Once she had the upper hand again in her mind, she was ready to let him make it up to your highness. Her love wasn't betrayed, her massive ego and need for control were momentarily punctured until she cracked the whip, imo...

I hate that this case has went from finding Hailey to what does Billie want and need. I feel she has to be involved somehow or she would be focused on finding Hailey instead of what canI get for myself. If I had a missing daughter and a son taken away Id be doing everything in my power to get them both back. I get so frustrated reading about this case. Its sad to think a bunch of strangers care more for her children than she does. JMO

Reading the TBT posting just before yours something kind of hit me.
Why is it that Billie tells things before they need to be told. She is old enough to button her lip.
Such as failing the poly and buying drugs and Shawns cheating.
I wonder what the analysis is on why she continues to do that.
