I can see Billie being arrested for obstruction for lying about Shawn's presence. I'm not clear as to why Shawn wasn't arrested on the spot for the warrant itself (unless it was a search warrant, for his property at his grandma's house?)...

Billie Dunn is currently being interrogated by law enforcement. The charges Dunn will face are expected to be released shortly.
Meanwhile, officers have removed items from the home of Shawn Adkins' grandmother within the last few minutes. Our crews say it's too dark to make a positive identification on what was taken away.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I just not got on here. WTH is going on? Was Shawn at Billie's and she lied about him being there and that is why she is in the clink, as Jeanne says? If he were at her house, why would LE be at his grandmother's?

Numerous LE vehicles are currently at SA's grandmother's residence. They have been seen carrying out boxes, blankets, etc. Luminol has also been seen.

I beleive LE was attempting to serve a search warrant and was looking for SA. LE had been seen at the Dunn residence earlier.

If they can prove SA's grandmother had knowledge of anything, hopefully she will be arrested and charged as well.

Billie sunk herself when she lied about Shawn being there. Like she didn't know that LE was watching them? She's not that dumb. I think Billie just believes she is smarter than everyone. As she said in one of her many interviews (which are going to come back to bit her) She is going to choose to believe that Hailey is alive.

And Billie knew she wasn't.

Everything is moving so fast right now, it's difficult to keep up.

Is the news on at 10pm CST and 11 EST? I just want to be ready to watch !

That's not confirmed but just my belief. They went to the house in Dunn first, then went to Billie's residence. A search warrant would make sense.

I wonder if the story we heard earlier about Shawn being pulled over by the police, around noon ish, was true. Was he making a run for it after Billie lied for him?


I really wish they had cameras and sound so we could see every move.

I'm almost certain the warrant that was being served was a search warrant related to his grandma's residence.

The cellar from the slasher pictures is at his grandma's in Dunn. I bet LE is down there right now looking for trace evidence (blood, DNA, vomit..). It might just be a crime scene. Shawn put himself there the morning of the 27th (though he said no one was home - which would be better for him if he was looking to stash something/someone)...JMO...

KTAB's Michelle Ashworth is reporting Billie Dunn is facing 3 charges. Hindering and apprehension of prosecution, possession of dangerous drugs and false report to a police officer.

Possibly there is evidence at his g'ma's.....but it make no sense that LE didn't arrest Shawn when Billie lied about him being at her residence if the warrant was indeed for him, I understand why they arrested her but why not Shawn also??? Pls, someone explain this to me like a 4th grader because I am trying to think logically and it is giving me a migraine, IMO they would arrest them both on the spot unless Shawn is cooperating (that would possibly also make sense wrt LE going to his g'mas house). Ok, feel free to rip apart as I am grasping at straws due to what we know NOT making a lick of sense

Could SA have fled the residence?

It was a search warrant not an arrest warrant from what I have read.

bth, I think you're making perfect sense. They would have arrested Shawn at Billie's if they had an arrest warrant on him. If they had a search warrant, they may have just wanted him to be present at his grandma's when his property was searched. Billie lied and said Shawn wasn't at her house (obstruction). Possibly Shawn didn't lie or run, just went into the bathroom or something - so no cause to arrest him for resisting. LE got them separated, Billie's being interrogated with no option to walk out, and Shawn's grandma's house with the cellar (where he claims he stopped off on 12/27) is being searched right now. LE's short term mission accomplished, imo. They'll levy some charges that'll stick long enough to put the Hailey case together and hopefully get a confession at some point. JMO..

Too many different reports. SA has been arrested and SA has not been arrested. Let's get confirmation one way or the other.

The Mitchell County District Attorney's Office tells KTAB's Michelle Ashworth that Billie Dunn will face three charges: hindering apprehension or prosecution, possession of dangerous drugs and false report to a police officer.
We're told the drugs in question were prescription drugs without a proper prescription.

Howard County went to the home in an attempt to serve a search warrant of Shawn Adkins' body.

Scurry County is in the process of serving a search warrant for Adkins' grandmother's home in Dunn.

The warrant to search SA's BODY, could be related to child porn pictures found on his computer. It could mean he is in some of the photos. This may get very interesting.

That makes sense after what gneed posted.....and I am wondering about the report he was pulled over today around noon by LE, also someone mentioned that the search warrant for his body could be for scars, tat's or other distinguishing marks that could possibly be used to match the images found on the computer-thumb drive wrt child porn

The warrant to search SA's body was issued out of Howard County which happens to be the county where over 100,000 pics of child porn was found.
I am concerned SA's has numerous local victims.

Logical conclusion since that is generally the case...

Billie Dunn has been charged with three misdemeanors. The charges are Hindering Apprehension, Possession of a Dangerous Drug and False Report to a Police Officer.

The drug charge was for a prescription drug that was in the house that Dunn did not have a prescription for.

Dunn will go before a judge tomorrow to have a bond set. The Mitchell County D.A. would not comment any further on the case, but did say that Shawn Adkins has not been arrested.

Oh my god. I never thought of that. I feel sick.

And Billie Jean is now in custody. She is in very deep. The 3 charges are just the beginning. This is something Peter Hyatt stated. And if you read his blog, LE was reading them and some are being used.

Peter was right on the money with this case.

Also on Peter Hyatt's blog is that Shawn's Grandmother has been working/involved with LE. And for those who listened to Shawn's interview with BTHN, it was Shawn's mother who hung up the phone.

Well, at least we know what Billie is charged with tonight and that she'll be arraigned on those 3 charges tomorrow.

There were reports that Shawn's grandma's house and Shawn's mom's house were being searched. Don't know if reporters got mixed up (again!) or if his mom's house was indeed also searched today/tonight. As far as official reports go, nothing showing Shawn has been arrested at this time.

Movement in the case; good! Hope it moves in the right direction - directly towards finding Hailey...
