NOT taking up for Shawn in any way, shape or form...but what kind of idiot in their right mind (oxymoron) would tell the mother-in-law of his girlfriend/aka Hailey's paternal grandmother, that he could kill a person and the body would never be found? I believe he said that...why could Connie Jones lie about it??

But, wait, if Taggart is Shawn's maternal uncle's last name, then he can't be Christina Adkins Walker's brother unless they have different fathers. Or could he be Shawn's maternal uncle because he is married to Christina's sister (Shawn's aunt)?

This family makes my head hurt. Seriously, it's a circus. I was trying to tell a friend about the case and I am sure they thought I had lost my mind.

I think the bottom line is that I believe Shawn is involved in Hailey's disappearance and the child porn/bestiality. I also believe Billy Jean is involved in the child porn/bestiality. As for Hailey disappearing, I think she knows that Shawn did something and she is covering / altering her statements to try to help him.

As an example, Shawn stated that he told Billie Jean about the child porn/bestiality "before" it became public knowledge. And yet Billie acted (poorly) as if she was surprised and couldn't answer any questions about it until she spoke to LE and got "some" truths.

I hope everything is finished up and brought to the grand jury this month and arrest warrants follow.

Soldiers join the search for missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn.

Twenty-six soldiers from Fort Hood joined the efforts to find the missing girl. Search coordinator Kristy Lloyd said one of the soldiers is from Colorado City and wanted to help out. She brought several fellow soldiers and their expertize with her.

Lloyd said the soldiers Army background gave new insight to the search.

"We're able to cover a ton of ground today. With them bringing specialties in the army and knowing how to do the search and rescue makes it that more proficient," said Lloyd.

Volunteer searcher Bill Markunas said he was excited to search along side the soldiers.

"In the short time I've been around them they've already taught me a couple things."

Markunas said each soldier brings something new to the search. "Some have experience with law enforcement and with searching. Firefighter experience also. Just one person has 19 years experience alone," he said.

Markunas and Lloyd said they are both so grateful for the soldiers help.

"They are an answered prayer," said Markunas.

The same thing happened to me as I explained up thread when I was trying to tell my husband about this case. I am sure he thought I had gone over the edge.

When you start to tell somebody that knows nothing it is an amazing story.

What about praying that God would watch over Hailey? Remember... the 13 year old daughter of the woman you "love", and who has been missing for over 2 months?!?

I just finished listening to SA's interview on BTH, and the first thing that I noticed was that he was speaking very softly & reassuringly (almost sounded like Billie). I think that he knows how to put on the "innocent" act (I'm sure he has had lots of practice on his mother & grandmother over the years!), and is really working it for these two women. Unfortunately for him, the one interviewer (Karen Englehardt, I think) doesn't seem to be buying his act!

The other thing that I noticed is that when he is asked what he thinks happened to Hailey, he says , "I still believe she is alive. I just feel that she is alive out there somewhere." Does this line sound familiar? I almost expected him to bring Zenaida the babysitter into the picture!

Rainbow your thoughts and my thoughts are the same on this guy. Who does he think he is fooling..grandma, mom and Billie.

I hope he wasn't sweettalking Hailey. I have confidence in Hailey that she might have been the only one to recognize his BS and faught him off.

That is why she isn't with us anymore.

While the focus in Colorado City and Mitchell County this past week may have been more on recovering from the wildfires that destroyed several homes, the search for missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn resumed Friday and Saturday.
Soldiers from Fort Hood joined the search teams that were trained by KlaasKids and Laura Recovery Center, two organizations formed by family members and friends of missing teenagers.

Billie Jean Dunn said Friday afternoon she remains thankful for the group’s continued search efforts.

“I’m on my way taking water to the groups right now,” she said from her cell phone.

Dunn said she was relieved to hear that the memory stick retrieved from her home did not contain any child pornography.

“One of the investigators told me that there was no child pornography on it. That made me feel a little bit better,” she added. She did say that there was adult pornography on it.

“The only thing that came out of my house during the search was the memory stick. They (law enforcement officials) asked me whose it was and I told them I didn’t know. I didn’t recognize it,” said Dunn.

“They told me that it came out of Shawn’s dresser and I told them I guess it was his then.”

Shawn Adkins is the only named suspect in the case of the teenager last seen on Dec. 27 from her home in Colorado City.

Adkins told investigators early on in the investigation that he saw the teen walking to a friend’s house to spend the night.

However, Hailey Dunn never arrived and Billie Dunn reported her missing Dec. 28.

Adkins said on an Internet talk show Thursday night that he was surprised at the child pornography and bestiality found on a computer confiscated from his mother’s home in Big Spring, adding that several people had access to the computer.

Possession of child pornography could result in grand jury indictments and Adkins said he was aware of that possibility.

“There’s a possibility that I might be going to jail for something I never did,” he said on the radio show.

The cases would be prosecuted by Howard County District Attorney Hardy Wilkerson and 32nd District Attorney Ann Reed of Sweetwater.

gnreed that is only Billies word on on child porn. LE said there was child porn on both the computer taken at SA's mothers house and on the Memory Stick found in Billies house.

Until LE says they were mistaken I am going with them.

If they were mistaken that would be a huge blunder on the part of LE. Huge.


Someone is being untruthful!!

Of course I believe BD is being untruthful again. However, I thought maybe LE could be using this info to get SA's reaction if he appears to be the only one going to be charged with child porn. By this, I am thinking "plea deal" involving BD. I believe LE is thinking they can get her to talk.
I will be waiting for LE to make a statement regarding BD's recent claim.

Do we know if there is more than one memory stick? In Billie speak, we never know if she is referring to just one of them....

And, would the police say there was child porn on the memory stick to the news organizations if there wasn't? I can see that they could say it to the suspects during questioning to get a confession but release it to the public?

I was thinking Toombs better not do any backtracking on that powerful statement.

The only way I can see an error being made is if LE communicated it to a reporter and the reporter got it wrong. Certainly would not be the first time...sigh.

Just because Billie has declared that the LE told her there was no porn on the memory stick doesn't mean she is telling the truth. When the child porn/bestiality information was released to the public, Billie Jean stated she didn't know about it and had to talk to the investigators to learn some truths. But, Shawn Adkins stated on the BTHN radio interview that he had told Billie Jean about the child porn BEFORE it was made public.

When this story broke, the information was released on 2/24/11. I would think if there were any corrections regarding the memory stick, the police would have corrected the information by now.

UPDATED 10:36 p.m.: ‘Deviant acts,' porn found on digital evidence seized in Hailey Dunn case

Both the computer and the memory stick contain images depicting bestiality and child pornography, said Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs.

Criminal charges could be filed regarding the memory stick found at the Dunn residence, Toombs said.

"We will have to get with the district attorney in Howard County to see if criminal charges are warranted," Toombs said about the images reportedly found on the computer hard drive.

Also, I remember wondering why it was taking so long for other news outlets to pick up the child porn/bestiality story and it turned out they were confirming with the LE that the story was true.

Child Pornography Found In Hailey Dunn Home

SWEETWATER, Texas -- A digital memory stick containing images of child pornography was discovered in Billie Dunn and Shawn Adkins’ bedroom as law enforcement searched for evidence pertaining to the disappearance of Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn, according to Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs.

In addition to the digital images found in their bedroom, more than 100,000 pornographic images were found on a computer that police seized as evidence from Adkins’ mother’s residence in Big Spring on Jan. 7.

This information was revealed on a return on warrants to the office of Judge Glen Harrison, 32nd District Court for Fisher, Mitchell and Nolan counties. The judge's office is located in the Nolan County Courthouse in Sweetwater.

A return on the warrant is information returned to the judge after a previous search warrant was authorized by that judge. Warrants and return information on warrants is a judicial system that protects citizens from unreasonable search and seizure.

The return on warrant information was received Friday morning by KTXS News after a request was made to the district court judge through a Freedom of Information request.

No arrests had been made in connection with the Hailey Dunn case Friday morning, said Pete Kampfer, city manager of Colorado City.

There was no information available on whether any arrests were pending in connection with the pornographic images discovered. Big Spring is in Howard County, a separate judicial court, than that of Mitchell County, where Colorado City is the county seat.

The return on warrant describes a 2-gigabyte PNY Attache memory stick found in the bottom right-hand drawer of a four-drawer dresser in the master bedroom of the Colorado City residence shared by Billie Dunn and Adkins, her live-in boyfriend. Officials also found a 700-megabyte Memorex CD disc that was also seized as evidence.

The return on warrant indicated that these devices in the Dunn home contained “approximately 320 images and videos of a pornographic nature.”

The computer seized in Big Spring contained “approximately 108,498 pictures depicting deviant acts,” according to the document. The computer was described as a Dell Inspiron 530 containing a Western Digital 500-gigabyte hard drive.

City Manager of Colorado City, Pete Kampfer has been close to the investigation from the beginning. He says while these new developments aren't necessarily connected to Hailey's disappearance it could help connect the dots.

"Folks that have arrest warrants against them may make statements or confessions so it may move things along a lot faster," Kampfer said.

The District Attorneys for Mitchell and Howard Counties where the evidence was found could charge both Billie and Shawn in the future.

"It's up to prosecutors whether they want to incorporate that into the investigation as far as where we come on a charge basis," Kamper said.

Clint Dunn, Hailey's father, recently told KTXS he was doubtful of the involvement of the only named suspect in the case, Shawn Adkins.

Today Clint's brother-in-law released a statement on his behalf about the child pornography found today saying, "We acknowledge the new information and are choosing not to comment on it at this time.

Peter thinks that when Hailey's disappearance is solved it will involve blood lust, pornography and drugs. He suggested that Billie's defense might be that she was drugged and Hailey was drugged by Shawn.

I said meth right from the get go and was booed. Billie has that meth look. I think somebody else here thought meth also. I am not going to speak for that person they can step up and take a bow on their own.

Jeanne, I have always believed meth played a role in Hailey being missing. BD fits the profile of a serious meth addict.
As I have mentioned before, I interview meth users often and most can come up with a lie immediately when asked a question.
What caught my attention at first was BD claiming to take pain killers for a bad tooth. Meth addicts will eventually lose their teeth and often receive pain pills from their dentists.
I still believe it is possible Hailey found a meth lab in the storage building in the back yard of her residence. She could have been hurt if she touched or came into contact with any of the chemicals. She may have also threatened to tell someone as she did in the past with BG.
The shed in the back yard had a sign which stated something like "Danger".

The shed was searched but LE might not have revealed what they found.

I am sure SA would have had time to remove and clean up any materials left in the shed before HD was reported missing.

Suspect Shawn Adkins in the case of missing cheerleader Hailey Dunn is back in the spotlight after a slasher video has surfaced at the same time a landfill is being searched in Abilene Texas.
The images were discovered by people on facebook as the search for Hailey Dunn has reached people all around the world.
The photos surfaced on Shawn Adkins cousins myspace page wearing a slasher mask.

At :55 in the SECOND video is Corey Norwood's father. These guys needs some serious help; this isn't an "all in fun" project IMO. They have some issues. Was it something in their childhoods?? How does someone grow up thinking this is funny?

In the case of the suspicious backyard shed that could have possibly been a meth lab: LE would know without a doubt if that were so, even if evidence had been removed. I say this as I recall a TV report on this subject about 2 or 3 years back. They claimed in the report that manufacturing meth contaminates the building in which it is done. They were finding it in hotel rooms and other places where it remained after the manufacturers were vacated.

Other than that, I do not know personally how a meth addict looks or anything of the sort to tell from a picture. All I can say is, that from day 1, as honest as Billie has seemed to be in front of a camera, I cannot escape thinking how similar her thought and speech patterns are to that of Misty Croslin.

Shawn Adkins: I never knew about any issue with it. The only time I’ve ever been in it is, there was a really bad thunderstorm, and I think there was a tornado in it, and we used that, and that was well over ten years ago, and nobody, to my knowledge, goes in that cellar.

Shawn Adkins: I really don’t remember.

This is from way back in January, but reminds us of the inconsistencies in Shawn's version of the story. I wonder if Billie has asked him about what I bolded below?

More information is coming to light about the missing teen Hailey Dunn case. It appears there have been Inconsistences in Shawn Adkins Timeline concerning when Hailey went missing. Law enforcement have pieced together a timeline of where people were on December 27th based on statements given.
Shawn Adkins was reported to be the last person to see Hailey on the day of her disappearance in Colorado city. Phone records place him in Bigspring from 9am to 2:30pm by that time Hailey had already been reported missing.
He also stated he was fired from his job in Snyder on the day she went missing. His employer said that is not true he left his job at 6:10 am without saying a word. He also said that when he left work he went to BigSpring 50 miles south west of Snyder but phone records show he was not in the BigSpring area until 9:30 which leads a 3 hour gap in where he was.
So where was he?
After getting a search warrant for his phone records, police discover he was at the Dunns home on Chestnut street in Colorado city. Neighbours say they saw Billie Jean leave for work at 6:20am that morning. Adkins phone records indicate he was at the home between 6:35 and 6:50am a time that Hailey would have been there home alone.
