On first search he didn't find any paperwork regarding chloroform.....no containers, no rags, no products used to make it, no receipts for purchasing it, no chemistry kits to make it.....per questions from Baez. Same answers regarding a later search.

Yuri: Dec 11 there was a search for chloroform. Didn't look again for any of those items on the 20th.

I agree Ashton is frustrated but I think frustration is called for when dealing with bozo, the judge is frustrated too! I think Ashton has been very respectfull of the witnesses when doing the cross, even when maybe they didn't deserve it.

I was about to scream at all of them today. Dr. Wise this was his first time to testify and I am sure it will be his last.

The BIG news during the Casey Anthony trial today occurred during the lunch break after Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick brought up the name of April Whalen, a woman who was booked into the Orange County Jail in April on a charge of driving on a suspended license. A young woman whose 15-month-old son Isiah drowned in 2007 in the family pool, his body discovered by his grandfather. According to news reports, April Whalen ‘came forward’ to reveal she had been a ‘jailhouse neighbor’ of Casey Anthony.

It’s unclear if Whalen told Anthony about her child’s death.

‘Prosecutors said that for now they do not plan to call Whalen as a witness, but that may change as the investigation continues.’

CNN - Per an interview April.....she was a few cells down from Casey. She has never met Casey...only watched her on tv. She wants nothing to do with this story. She has been contacted by a detective 2 times. She did not say if she has been subpoenaed.

Why can't the news media get this right. Don't print it if it's not the TRUTH!! It's being reported that she was a jailhouse neighbor of Casey's and she says that's not true

Although Whalen denies speaking directly to Casey about her son's accident, she told authorities she may have spoken to other inmates about the circumstances surrounding his death. Those inmates may have then relayed the information to Casey.

According to CF News 13, Whelan was in the Orange County Jail with Casey for five days in 2009. She was booked into that facility 10 times between 2000 and 2009, arrested for various crimes including driving with a suspended license, theft, drug possession and probation violations.

Just a personal observation here: KC seems to look more and more befuddled to me. I think this is an eye opener for her. She got away with lying and confusing people for so many years, she thought they would never find anything to indicate her own involvement in her child's death in that childish deceitful mind of hers. I think she is now flabbergasted as she sees and hears all that the various science labs can actually find out about the whole crime, even as unimaginable to her as measuring gases in her trunk. I think she must feel like she has met her Waterloo.

OK I missed the whole last half. What I did get by listening to some analysis is that Dr Weiss ended up being more for the prosecution
than the defense. But the big news as that the State now says that what was on the hard drive proves that the defenses statements about a drowning are false. Everywhere on the web Im reading about the ineffectual council of Baez who tried to keep this out even though for 3 years he had this information and never checked the hard drive. What? Can Baez
really be so negligent? The answer of course is yes! But what is on the hard drive and also the instant messsages - anyone found anything on this yet?

laga, here is the part of the link (supplied by BJ) that I had a question about. I was wondering what JP was talking about and it was about sustaining JA's objection about the questioning of Eikelenboom. It happened at the afternoon recess and I didn't catch it all...was wondering what JP was talking about...

Objection is sustained in the sense that you can question him in the aspect that Mr Ashton asked him about. The piece of duct tape that was on the mouth. Give me an example of the judicial notice you want me to take? If given at the last minute he is gonna err on the side of not allowing it. Those cases are all over the board. This is not a very easy legal decision to decipher, some things are left best, unsaid.
